More than a horror. For beautiful cinematography, for fair used theme of Alaskan gold run, for simple gestures , silence and nuances of loneliness, for the memories about woman from the past and for so familiar pieces defining the stalker.

Not the last, for Paul VanDyke.a sort of Walt Whitman in middle age , captive to past, looking for better future , unlucky and prisoner of a routine with fatal end.

In short, old fashion Gothic film , admirable crafted scene by scene, offering to viewer more than a good story but smart webb of suggestions who give to prospector presence rich nuances , fair details.
