Evidently I had higher expectations for Season 4, and with good reason as the first 3 seasons were fantastic. However, after 4 episodes in...I'm not "getting it". Vanessa is on a quest to do "something." She's almost taking on a Christ like persona. Axel is still pissed at the world after Scarlett's death. Julius is now a kung-fu instructor to a mysterious young lady who has powers (and a sister) that rivals Vanessa's. Sam and the Oracle look like a couple from suburbia, and I have no idea what's really going on with Doc, her constant lab work, and some weird prison mining camp that appears to be the hobby of some "warden" who acts like Robert Downey Jr. from "Less Than Zero". Oh...and somehow Axel found this dude while cruising down the road in his deuce and half, chugging whiskey, and chain smoking Pall Malls. I know I'm being overly critical, but c'mon guys, let's get back to basics. And keep the meandering to a minimum.
