The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! (1988)
It's impossible not to laugh.
If you want to specifically cheer yourself up, then you need to watch the director's Naked gun David Zucker.
The film tells about the most ridiculous detective Frank Drebin, who is investigating the case of an international assassination attempt on Elizabeth II.
The tape gives the impression of a murderously funny comedy, which simply abounds with great jokes after which you roll on the floor with laughter.
If you compare a Naked gun with modern comedies, from which you want to vomit after watching the amount of vulgarity, (with rare exceptions) this painting will generally be a masterpiece.
This is the case when jokes will be incredibly funny for all people, no matter what.
Conclusion: There is no need to talk about such films, they should be watched! I can't say anything more. And if you haven't seen this cult comedy, run to watch it.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998)
The one who becomes a beast gets rid of the pain of being a man. Dr. Johnson
I was looking for the American Dream, but I found only fear and disgust.
Contrary to all opinions, the fact that the film exhausts in 120 minutes, and in return does not give anything at all. I want to say that if you look carefully and the most important thing is to try to find meaning, and not start looking already with a preconceived opinion. Then this very meaning will definitely be found. I'll explain everything now.
I see this tape has 2 layers of semantic load. The introductory part of the picture is dedicated to the first layer.
This idea consists in ridiculing Western mores. And a satire on the American dream. Think about it, people from all over the world come to one continent to find this ubiquitous American dream, and in the end it (most often) does not end well.
The second layer is devoted, respectively, to the conclusion of the movie.
The idea is to show freethinkers who are independent of any opinion. These people are mutants of the 20th century, with the help of various substances, they just want to find their place in this world.
I won't even talk about acting, camerawork and adaptation of all the nonsense that was in the novel, it's beyond praise.
Conclusion: It is impossible to recommend this film to everyone (especially snobs), but fans of excellent counterculture could watch it.

Se7en (1995)
a city steeped in sins
"We are stupid and funny dolls participating in some vile circus performance. What's the use of dancing and copulating, we don't even care about the World. We don't know that we don't know anything. We are not what we thought we were."
The first thing I want to say is that this film is amazing. I frankly don't like detective stories, but David Fincher's film "Seven" drags.
The picture captures from the first minutes and keeps you in suspense until the very end.
It is rare to find a film that makes you think, listen to dialogues in the most meticulous way, and constantly analyze. This is exactly the case here. The tape is simply replete with various thoughts. For example: how long have you been visiting the library? Or read a book.
Serious intrigue, plot intricacies and mind-blowing finale, makes this movie a wonderful thriller.
Neonoire is shown perfectly, except for cliches like: constant rain.
Conclusion: A wonderful detective thriller, for those who want to think while watching. The ending will not leave anyone indifferent. Spoiler: it's over so you can't tell if this ending is bad or good.

The Game (1997)
catharsis
A masterpiece thriller. A terrific plot, and a finale that takes and deceives the viewer.
The film asks the question of what needs to be done to break out of the routine and rethink life.
The original picture, after which directors like James Wan began to make their own versions of the "Game".
Facts such as: Acting, feverish narration, crazy plot twists, thoughts constantly spinning in my head when watching and after, makes watching this movie unforgettable.
Even though my expectations were very high, the tape more than met them.
No wonder this movie is the standard of thrillers, you are in the wildest tension, it is impossible to break away. After watching it, I was impressed for a few more hours.
In addition to the first layer of semantic load, I found the second. It lies in another question, why do people hate their birthdays. This topic is raised in the first half of the film. In the second half, she just sinks. Why do I think there is such a meaning? Firstly, the reaction of the main character to congratulations from colleagues, acquaintances is zero. It is literally written on his face that he is infuriated by all this attention of people who don't care about him. Secondly, the emotional callousness and uniformity of all days preserved the main character even more.
Conclusion: A very good movie. I highly recommend it for viewing.

Halloween Kills (2021)
BORING!
This movie has met all my rather modest expectations. And it even managed to surprise a little, but damn it, what a boring movie this is!
I'll start with the cons. The first thing I want to say is, the stretched timekeeping. 15-20 minutes of the film can be safely thrown out, nothing much will change. Scenes when viewing which you do not want to sleep in the tape are catastraphically few. Most of the timekeeping is given over to stupid carnage or meaningless dialogues.
Now the pros. I was very pleased that the movie was trying (albeit fleetingly) to convey the meaning. For such a genre, even an UNSUCCESSFUL attempt to tell about something with meaning is already cool. And this message is to show how much hatred and obsession with revenge can obscure people's eyes, so much so that they unwittingly become monsters that the monster has spawned. Such a social experiment from Michael Myers, which lasted 40 years.

The Exorcist (1973)
An ageless classic of its genre
Certainly one of the scariest horror films.
Despite the fact that it was filmed back in 1973. Although the irony is that the old horrors turn out to be much scarier than the new ones.
The film touches on previously never raised topics in cinema such as: Exorcism, religion, obsession.
The chilling atmosphere just permeates the whole movie.
I also want to say about the interesting visual moments that the picture is just stuffed with, so if you watch the movie inattentively, you can miss a lot.
A cool soundtrack that has gained cult status over the years, and is strongly associated with horror films.
Conclusion: A very good tape about obsession. At the end, there is an understatement, and the viewer has room for reflection. It seems to me that the most important point of the films is that science will never be able to explain everything. Therefore, religion will live forever.
7.9.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998)
regular crime thriller
The film did not impress, but it did not disappoint either.
First I'll move on to the pros.
The film has sparkling dialogues, and the humor is sharp as diarrhea. I used to laugh myself to death. A twisted plot with a bunch of minor characters, at first it seems that they are not needed, but as in the best traditions of Guy Ritchie, when the credits begin, all the puzzles fall into place and a cool picture turns out. The soundtrack fits very well, and it makes the film even more atmospheric and colorful. The tape is quite interesting shot using: slow motion, hip-hop editing and other elements inherent in commercials.
Now to the negative part.
I sincerely do not understand the people who put this picture 10 out of 10. In my opinion (subjective opinion), the film should have some other subtext or raising the topic, this movie does not suggest thoughts, but only entertains. Yes, it's funny, yes the tape tightens from the first scene, but where is the conclusion that a good film needs so much.
Summary: Cards, money and two smoking barrels. This is a good movie for the evening, no more. Therefore, why on Kinopoisk he has a score of 8.5, I do not understand at all. I'm unlikely to review it a second time, this tape is from the category I looked at once and forgot.
Filth (2013)
Definitely not unambiguous
A very interesting tape that struck and made you think about many things .
This mix of genres is just incredibly cool.
1. Humor is one of the many things that make this movie worth watching. Of course, this picture can not be recommended to everyone, but fans of Irvine Welsh's work should definitely take a look. The humor is cool and always on the topic.
2. And the best thing is that this is not only an entertaining movie, but also teaching someone who does not need to be. And the main character is a perfect confirmation of this. Bruce Robertson is very ambiguous immoral, cruel, cynical but with all this it is a pity for him because he is an ordinary person who tried to be what he was not, he wanted to be cool and did not dare to admit his weakness and his environment only encouraged him to be an inveterate creature. I feel sorry for him only because he is a simple person who is very unlucky if he delves into the problem of why he is the way he is.
3. Acting and casting is one of the main advantages, after watching it, there is a feeling that if you substitute other actors, it will be different and not at all such a powerful impression from the tape.
4. The music is also on top like everything in the film especially the song "Creep" at the end if it wasn't there I think the atmosphere of the scene changed and it wouldn't be so sad.
Conclusion: The feeling of complete emptiness and sadness is what every viewer will feel after watching. A very instructive movie because of which you rethink your actions and that you should be kinder. As Bruce Robertson said, " The rules are the same."
Evaluation:7.8.
Serial Mom (1994)
A great satire on horror movies
Probably one of the most if not the most original and extraordinary film that I watched.
The movie is about a woman with a specific split personality,
at first she is a stereotypical cheerful housewife, but then she appears cynical, cruel, vindictive and this is not the whole range of qualities of her second personality and at the same time she manages to be a wife and mother. She is not even suspected of brutal murders until one moment.
The humor in the film is quite hard and sometimes immoral, but this film does not spoil it in any way, on the contrary,
it makes it more unique because not every film can be so cruel but also so funny.
There are few really funny black comedies, and this is probably one of those rare moments when violence is not shown for exploitation, such as in the film "God Bless America!
Another interesting point in the film is a satire on horror films and it is shown not only in ridiculing cliched scenes, (which for 1994 was very unusual and interesting) the escape of a maniac for a victim, but also in a parody of the American dream
of the 90s of the twentieth century.
The ending in the tape corresponds to this genre, it is idiotic but also funny in its own way.
Conclusion: Serial mom is a cool mix of satire with ironic and cynical humor, this is exactly the kind of film that you can turn on that laugh and not think about the plot.
The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009)
Why was it filmed?!
After watching the entire trilogy of the Human Centipede, I can say with confidence "Why was it filmed"?!.
Although for me there are practically no advantages in this film, I want to say about the small part of the positive moments that are there.
1. The idea of the tape itself, although disgusting, is original, but I do not understand why it was necessary to do part 2 and 3, it seems to me that such vomit
was not worth making a whole trilogy.
2. For the main characters (two women and one Chinese), I personally worried, although I think they are very stupid, I do not want to stretch the review with an explanation of "why"? I'll give you an example: at one point, one of the girls is released and runs out of the basement of a mad surgeon breaks a window in one of the rooms and now you can say with a stretch that this is a happy ending but it comes to an understanding that only half of the film has passed and if this woman now runs away from his house, she will come to the nearest police station and tell what happened to her and in which house this psychopath is located, the police will come there, tie this freak and put him in a mental hospital, but that's not going to happen because it's a horror movie and she's like a complete fool trudging out there to get her friend out if she didn't the end would be much more positive.
3. The actor who played the abnormal surgeon coped with his role very well you really hate him and sincerely hope that he will die.
But all the same, the advantages that I have described do not compare with the scale of disgust and misunderstanding.
"Why was it filmed"?! I asked myself this question more than once during the viewing.
I will say a few words about the 2 and 3 part they are even worse the only thing that happens there is an increase in the centipede and the stupidity. The second part is trying to be an intellectual film so that it doesn't fall into the mud at all because if you take off all this curtain of the art house and stop saying that the director is a genius and it's just you're stupid, this film will just become a thrash abomination. I don't want to talk about the third part, it's just a bit of a mess and it's not clear why it was made.
Conclusion:This film has an original idea if you remove the numerous cliches, then maybe you get a film on the weak seven. Because a movie with such a plot a priori can not be highly appreciated and nominated for an Oscar, no matter how much the creators of this "masterpiece" would like it.
The Visit (2015)
although I do not like the genre of found footage this film was interesting to watch
This is a thriller that turns your opinion about it by the middle of the film when you are already sure that there is nothing terrible and interesting here , but suddenly it throws such a plot twist from which I personally was shocked and I was very worried about the characters it's scary to imagine yourself in the place of the heroes, although it ends quite unrealistic the tape Visit leaves behind the feeling of a creepy thriller.
Spiral: From the Book of Saw (2021)
a good continuation of the cult franchise
The ninth Saw was very pleased in comparison with the last part, here the plot is much more interesting
and there is no idiotic understatement. The narrative itself is built very competently and the whole film I was building theories and by the end of the film I was already completely sure that the follower of the designer is the father of the main character but here there is such a plot twist from which I was stunned to put it mildly
so to confuse the plot and build a chain of false evidence you still need to be able, respect to the screenwriter.
About the protagonist: he is interesting and charismatic
and what I love very much in the movies, he is not ambiguous and the campaign of the tape we learn about him that he is still an egoist.
But at one point he is locked in a room with his work colleague who treated him with disregard and in one flashback we are shown even when he is attacked by a bandit and the main character calls for help three times he ignores his call and during the shootout the detective was wounded but this did not happen if he did not ignore his request for help. But back to the room, when the detective realizes that he has fallen into the game of the follower of the Saw, he quickly frees himself and sees the one I was just talking about, he listens to the player in the tradition of the franchise and the test begins, he is given a choice: do nothing and commit a kind of revenge or help him get out of the trap, he decides to still help him, he frees him from the trap, but it turns out too late. But the very fact that he is trying to help him can characterize him as a person with shortcomings and advantages, which is of course a plus for the film. Although the movie left behind a feeling of a very good detective thriller that keeps in suspense, there are disadvantages in it, as in everything ( where without them). For example, I almost did not remember a single name in the film, this is most likely due to the short timing of the tape, although in the process of watching the film, I remembered the name of the main character then when writing this review, his name flew out of my head, so in this echo I so often use pronouns.
At the end of the film, there is a small misunderstanding due to the confusion of events and after the end of the picture, the viewer thinks about what is happening and there is room for imagination, which is certainly a good scenario solution.
I want to say a few words about the music at the end of the review, it is not bad here and in the subject of what is happening, you can listen to some songs even just like that.
Conclusion: It turned out to be a very good continuation of the franchise about a cruel but fair constructor which is not without minor drawbacks but the general impression about the film is such that you can understand this continuation was not made for a stupid continuation but tried to shoot in general and in general this movie gets an 8.0 rating from me.
