Putrid Dung Packaged as a Movie
6 December 2023
A highly forgettable, disturbingly repulsive misogynist and sexist saga which also flirts with right-wing hindutva and modi-bhakt sentiments just to pull in a wider crowd. Absolutely irresponsible film-making. I'm glad the film has an A raring and would be very pleased if no OTT showcases it on their platform. No reputable actors should ever want to work with this director who seems to be a habitual offender and takes pride in his crass narratives against women.

If Kabir Singh's character made you choke, Vijay Balbir Singh will give you a stroke!

There is no redeeming factor for the movie or for the people portraying the various characters in the film.

Give it a miss!

Watch it for the actors
26 September 2021
While all shorts had exceptional actors who gave great performances, Geeli Puchchi stood tall in terms of Storytelling and direction.

Definitely worth a watch.

Who and I mean WHO took the decision to cancel this gem?
21 June 2021
Light hearted horror comedies are rare. Especially ones having great scripted characters, good laughs and a charming lead protagonist. This show had it all.

It is a shame that this was canceled after three seasons.

BRING IT BACK! Netflix? Amazon? Somebody please pick this up and give us more!

A delightful, unpretentious gem of a movie. Refreshes your soul and the soundtrack is great to boot.

High tension for 1 hour, culminating with a bizarre last 30 mins
18 March 2021
Turn the movie off after one hour and be happy that you watched a decent slasher movie. Continue until credits roll to learn that you should've listened to the critics before choosing to watch this movie.

Easily the worst French movie I have come across. And I generally love French movies.

Disappointing

One of those that stays with you after the end

Incredible production for a first time horror movie from Tunisia. Creepy, scary, gory and horrifying. The fact that it was based on true events makes it even more chilling. Definitely recommend.

Hilarious horror movie 😂
27 February 2021
This was easily the most hilarious horror movie I have seen in years. Was there anyone this movie managed to scare?

If not for Alison Lohman, I would've stopped watching after the first 30 mins.

She played the role so genuinely and looked so cute while doing it, that I just had to watch it for her.

Predictable final act and super funny demons.

Bloated ratings deny this show accurate praise
14 November 2020
There are good aspects to this show. Certainly more than the bad aspects.

The story was decent. The character of Dr.Kamal provides some comic relief via his interactions with Dr.Refaat. Maggie and Howaida are both stunningly beautiful. The settings are also nice.

The CGI was extremely horrible. Like extremely. The lead character's chain-smoking is very off putting. If the lead character was supposed to be extremely irritating then the actor portraying him has done a good job of making the audience hate him.

All in all, a good attempt and a decent watch. If there is a Season 2, I really wish they make Dr.Refaat likeable. At least a little.

And please, for heaven's sake, upgrade the VFX!!!

A good first season for character building
27 October 2020
Needs a better second season to actually deserve a rating over 8. So far, a 7 from me. Good plot and very fresh characters.

Riveting Stuff!
21 October 2020
What a brilliant gem this turned out to be. Aaron Sorkin has created a masterpiece that is not only a great piece of cinematic work but also a glaring testament to the struggles peaceful protestors continue to have with the State and its machinery to this day, in every part of the world. Inspirational movie! Eddie Redmayne, Sacha Baron Cohen, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Mark Rylance, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Frank Langella give stand out performances. Highly recommend this to everyone who gives a damn about their country and the world as a whole.

TV at its finest. Everything from the characters, the locations, the plot, the photography, the soundtrack, every bit of it is bloody brilliant.

This show deserves wide recognition.

Good enough as a thriller. Loved the ending

Keeps you on the edge for most of its running time. Certain cliches could've been avoided. Elizabeth Moss is a good actress. I just don't like her a lot personally.

Decent watch.

Didn't need to be that long

Should've been edited better. Good concept, great superhero costume, good characters but fails in crisp execution of content.

Hope this one gets a sequel.

Martin Freeman and Simone Landers were great!
29 September 2020
A zombie movie for "non-zombie movie" fans. A bit slow at times but Martin Freeman carries the movie along just fine. One of the most underrated actors of our times. Simone Landers gives a commendable debut performance. Decent Watch.

Decent Watch
13 August 2020
The negative reviews and harsh criticism of the movie and the lead actress on here us nothing but misguided targeted abuse.

As a movie it is pretty good. The acting by all is balanced and taut. The script is tight and crisp.

Ignore the negative reviews and do give it a watch.

Fahadh Fasil might just be the best Indian actor currently
12 August 2020
Such a beautiful intimate tale of a neighborhood in Kumbalangi. Fahadh Fasil has such a wide range as an actor. Special mention for Anna Ben. She is developing into a really good actress. The dude who plays Saji is another brilliant actor. A fine film.

Has its finger firmly on the pulse of the nation
16 May 2020
Great series. Well directed. Superbly cast. A very realistic screenplay and story about corruption, greed and lust for power at every level of society.

Anushka Sharma is a very intelligent producer. She has backed a solid project.

All the high ratings are very well deserved. Keeps you engaged from start to finish.

Ignore all the poor ratings and reviews. I read most of them and they all seem to be written by the same person or at least the same kind of people. The language used in those reviews says it all. They're all part of the "Hindu Khatre Mein Hai' crowd who have graduated from Amit Malviya's WhatsApp University.

The acting by Jaideep Ahlavat, Niraj Kabi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Ishwak Singh and Abhishek Banerjee is deserving of critical acclaim.

Great Series. A worthy binge-watch.

Stale Bun with spoiled maska
7 April 2020
Is there really such a dearth of creativity in Bollywood? Even Netflix Originals from this la la land seem totally unoriginal and cliché. Meanwhile, South Indian cinema is oozing with creativity, new ideas, great acting and fantastic stories and screenplays. If only they had the budget of Bollywood, we would have had some great world cinema level entertainment. These joyless coming of age love triangle scripts are as stale as the bun-maska that you get in some of these dilapidated cafes of Mumbai. Waste of Netflix's creative freedom provided to content creators.

Sacred Games flopped hard in its Second Season. I didn't even bother watching Bard of Blood. And now this from Bollywood.

I wish Netflix started roping in South Indian creative talent to develop better movies and shows from India.

Disappointing!

Too long. Several plot holes and poor action choreography. Rakshith Shetty single handedly carries the show with humor.

A good attempt in Kannada cinema.

Hopefully will get better.

This bizarre comedy will suck you in without you realizing it
20 September 2017
One of the most hilarious comedies of recent past. Each episode is about 23 minutes long, and probably 15 minutes of that duration you'll ask yourself why you are watching this show, but somewhere in there there will be one routine, one joke or one moment where you will suddenly burst out laughing at jokes that you might have so far told yourself that you would never laugh at.

It's over the top, it's crazy but it has a lot of heart. A gem in Britain's comedy collection.

"Hello Stephen, this is Clem Fandango. Can you hear me?" :-D

Imtiaz Ali has lost it
7 September 2017
Shahrukh Khan tried his best to keep this movie together but Imtiaz Ali and his weak writing have made a mess of it. Such a tragedy that this smart filmmaker has written and directed such a weak movie. Horrible, predictable and frankly, quite pathetic. Anushka Sharma should pick better films especially after great performances in films like NH10. Imtiaz Ali should try something different now. It's all looking like a big Tamasha now. No pun intended.

Honest, Sincere, Moving and Uplifting...a great, great movie
10 January 2014
Holy Crap! What a great movie this is. A movie that has so much heart hasn't come by in a long, long while. Gravity, American Hustle and all the other hyped up movies in contention for this year's Oscar pale in comparison to this movie. (Seriously...what the hell was so good about American Hustle anyway???)

A great script, some very real performances, amazing screenplay and perfect direction make this movie an instant classic. It will be etched in my mind forever.

Brie Larson, as Grace is exceptional and John Gallagher Jr. (of Newsroom) is extremely talented and right on the money as Mason. Kaitlyn Dever turns in a mature performance for a 17 year old and Keith Stanfield plays the subdued Marcus to a tee.

A must watch movie and easily one of the best, if not the best movie of the year.
