The exact same show, without the really weak attempts at comedy you see packed into the first 10 minutes of episode 1, would be a 8 or 9/10 show.

It has serious potential as a continuing show, just needs to actually be funny when it tries to be. Peacemaker himself, Murn and Vigilante are the only likeable and well written characters. Action and story are very good. The janitor in the first scene, the taxi driver, the old man in the garden - it's not fun it's cringy for no reason.

With the right editing - cutting out all the unfunny conversations that don't contribute anything, you could take the show that has been broadcast, without filming any new scenes and turn it into something great.

It's a parody and it does what it's supposed to, the plot isn't supposed to matter, you aren't supposed to care about it, don't worry about it. You might as well complain about the cinematography.

It is supposed to be fun and likeable and it is. The complaints from most reviews are as relevant to this genre as saying this film isn't historically accurate. They make no sense. Films should be judged based on what they try to be, in the genre they choose to fill. It's not very serious and it shouldn't be. Some of the comedy is very dumb, and that's fine, that's allowed.

This gets way more hate than it deserves for no real reason.

Karl Urban was bad enough, but Butcher's Aunt Judy is too much. By far the worst accent on big budget TV in the last 10 years. She would have been laughed out a high school play, it's so bad it's scary.

The whole episode was generally pretty boring, unfortunately no amount of wokeness makes up for that.

Easily up with the best episodes of GOT. Lighting is fine for anyone not watching on a 10 year old TN panel. Score and CGI is as good as it has ever been. The big deaths were played out better than any others.

The reviews here are delusional.

They killed off 4 major characters in one episode #plot armour. Visually the best Game of Thrones has ever been. This episode was a victim of the easily manipulated and near braindead hive mind.

Acting not great, music was idiotic. Women are strong, they can't lose a fight unless they are outnumbered. It would be bad even for a kids show.

Those suggesting that Bear does not have any or the best survival skills and that he is not actually surviving. Putting yourself in a position where you have to survive and presenting a show designed to entertain based on a man in the wild. To be stranded he would actually have to strand himself with a film crew. That is not actually being stranded.

The show itself is entertaining and that is what it is for. Of course he could be more logical with his survival but it is not survival. He has put himself in that position. If he did the same thing as the show referenced in other reviews 'Survivorman' it would be the same show. There is also a reason this is in the Top 150 shows on IMDb and not 'Survivorman' This is not a Documentary. Please take this into consideration when you have a low IQ and feel the need to post a review.
