Oh my goodness i haven't reviewed a movie in so long on here but after seeing Resident Evil: Extinction and knowing fanboys are gonna give it a bad score i was compelled to completely gush about how completely awesome this third installment was. To recap my opinion i thought the first film was really cool some little thrills, some neat special effects, but Alice was just so cool, i fall in love with bad@$$ heroines like that character with the exception of Halle Berry's Catwoman for obvious reasons lol. The second film only furthered my adrenaline rush with Milla doing all kinds of crazy stunts and that film felt closer to the games also made nemesis look amazing thank god they didn't use CGI. The third movie takes place in the Nevada desert.. well for the most part anyways Alice and a core few of the survivors unfortunately not including Jill *cries* are scrounging the world trying to survive and find food, gas, supplies etc without being eaten by the massive army of zombies that surrounds pretty much the whole world. Milla is amazing once again but this time she takes the reigns from Sigorney Weaver because this time Alice is no sex symbol she's an angry woman on a nonstop rampage not afraid to kill and think twice. The action in this movie is so amazing the change of directors really helped get away from the choppy hand to hand fights in Apocalypse plus this is the director of Highlander here mister Russel Mulchy is no stranger to great action films. There's a lot more scares in this one and a lot more gore and grizzly murder creating entertaining mayhem on the big screen. I love truly epic films like Alfred Hitchcocks work, The Departed, and Requiem For A Dream but i go to the theater to be massively entertained by more than just my bucket of popcorn and Resident Evil: Extinction keeps your eyes on the screen.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre:The Beginning is a fantastic slasher film that brings us back to the classic era of 1970's slashers.I loved this chainsaw film simply because it answers all the whys and provides you with leatherface's history.Definitely gorier than the previous film and far more cringe inducing.This is first non cheesy slasher i've seen in ages which is a very nice change for me personally.

The acting in the film is very good there are some very intense performances and some graphic scenes.It's shot very 70's slasherseque which overall gives it a creepy aura.The storyline is very easy to follow yet very disturbing and depressing at the same time.Overall fans of The Devil's Rejects and The Hills Have Eyes see Texas Chainsaw Massacre:The Beginning it's well worth the admission fee.

Silent hill is 2006's best thriller hands down.It is pure good entertainment pumped up with plenty of terrifying action.Average acting for a horror flick but the effects are anything but average.They're spectacular.This movie will creep you out big time and at certain times jolt you right out of your seat.Silent hill is loaded with eye-popping effects that insures the film to be an absolutely mind blowing adventure.The video game movies have been OK as far as doom goes but silent hill is an amazing adaptation.A good plot and interesting characters isn't all that silent hill offers.This vivid thriller offers you a chance to settle your adrenaline rush and scare the hell outta you at the same time.I give this film a perfect 10,Silent Hill is a ferocious all American horror.

The War At Home is so good it's become my new favourite show.Me and my neighboors Carly and April watch this together every Sunday and laugh at how true to life it is.I love how everyone is so sarcastic and so worried and they dwell on every little issue.Once someone does something stupid they never live it down and that is soooo how family is.The father always harps on all three kids about every little thing.I love how the parents have no idea how to deal with the kids.It's so true to real family life and the fact that the parents are so overwhelmed and have no clue how to solve their teenagers problems just puts the show over the top.The War At Home is so brutally honest,and so true to the world we live in that it has become a milestone for sitcoms to come.This isn't Happy Days or The Brady Bunch this is real life.

Fearless is exactly what Jet Li fans have been craving these past few years.Fearless makes a strong statement about a frequently ignored aspect of martial arts it's overall message.The zen like message in Fearless is indeed something to think about after the film is over.Fearless shows how vanity and arrogance bring a man to ruin,and how a sense of pride raises him to the top again.A wonderful message and a beautiful story.Fans of Jet Li love hand to hand combat and I'll tell you right this second Fearless is filled with fantastic fight sequences. The action comes at you fast and intense and each fight scene is unique and able to keep you on the edge of your seat.This is the new age of Jet Li films.He's grown out of movies like Cradle To The Grave and The One.Jet Li has moved on to make a film as breath taking as Hero or House Of Flying Daggers.

Zack and Cody the best show on the Disney channel by far.Not only does the cast have pretty faces they have great acting skills and amazing on screen chemistry.The jokes are witty and intelligent and the plot lines are innovative and fresh.Given it's a Disney show there is some corny dialog but overall a fun show.Every character on the show has great comedic timing and a ton of talent.The show manages to appeal to it's target audience of preteen/teen girls but also appeals to boys of the same age and even adults.The Disney channel has come up with some good shows like That's So Raven and All That but I'm gonna have to say The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody is better than both.Overall a great little show,with a great cast of talented up and comers.

This film is fast paced fun and excitement.Good story lines,great characters,and spectacular special effects.X-men 3 is by far the best of the series and by far the most entertaining.Better than any Comic film out there even Spiderman and Spiderman 2.The characters are perfectly drawn out and the separate story lines run so smoothly.The entire film is solid and filled with hardcore action.I will buy this on DVD for certain and look forward to a possible x-4.The X-men are more united than ever as X-men 3 lives up to the hype.Fans of the comics will be pleased and will praise this as the perfect film for the x-fan.Fantastic performances,great political output,and some amazing action sequences are sure to make x3 a blockbuster hit.Third times the charm.

I just saw a pre screening and never have I seen an action flick so damn satisfying.Aeon flux based on the MTV animated series is about an assassin in the future who is sent to kill a politician and finds out a lot more than she bargained for.This sounds like a typical action movie right?Dead wrong Aeon Flux is a totally new and unique film with amazing cinematography,and special effects that creates an action film that will definitely be remembered.The acting is very professional and the characters are very well defined.Not only that but the hand to hand fight scenes are amazingly fast paced and intense and the gun action is just as good.I love how this films action,and scenery is very stylized and creates a science fiction like atmosphere.I think Charlize Theron is sooo pretty in this movie and she steals the show for that alone.I went in to this expecting a crappy story about some hot chick in tight leather but it is a hell of a lot more than a poontang flick.This is going to be one hell of a success and i think it will become a cult hit like Xena.Anywho fans of Star Wars,Serenity,Star Trek,Battlestar Galactica, or any sci fi movie will absolutely love Aeon Flux.Totally worth seeing people.

If you love scary movies than See No Evil is right for you.It makes you jump out of your seat and continuously makes you cringe.This is without thinking twice the best scary movie I have seen in awhile.WWE Superstar "Kane" delivers a gruesome performance as serial killer with a tormented past.Plenty of gore and twisted death scenes keep you with your hands over your eyes for a lot of the movie.If you want scary this is as scary as it gets in the slasher world.The acting is average slasher acting but the storyline is rather intelligent and raises it above your average slasher flick.If you enjoyed House of Wax,Texas Chainsaw Massacre,Saw,Friday The 13th,or Halloween you will love See No Evil.

As the immediate continuation of the story from the original RESIDENT EVIL, this film shows us the devastation unleashed upon Raccoon City, after a virus gets out and turns everyone into flesh-biting zombies. Alice, who now seems to have attained superhuman powers, teams up with some soldiers with guns and attempts to fight her way through the living dead and back into normalcy.Resident evil 2 is intense and fast paced,a perfect action thriller.lot's of gun fights,karate sequences,explosions therefore a sweet action flick.the best thing is how the story is explained briefly but in detail then gets straight to the action.finally an action movie that realizes it's an action movie and doesn't try to be more than that.all in all a good movie,neat story,good acting,amazing action sequences,and a whole lot of fun.just two girls kicking some zombie @$$.

Ultraviolet is a non-stop action film that does not slow down for a second.Intense fights with some amazing kung fu is the highlight of the film next to the visuals.The story is simple,easy to follow and the action kept you on the edge of your seat.The cinematography,background,colour,etc was perfect and a feast for the eyes.Milla Jovovich plays Violet well and successfully shows the emotions she is supposed to be feeling.Altogether Ultraviolet was a fun film that does indeed satisfy your adrenaline rush.Fans of Transporter 1 and 2 and fans of Resident Evil 1 and 2 are definitely going to enjoy Ultraviolet.I never went in expecting an academy award film and for that reason I enjoyed Ultraviolet.It's purpose is to entertain action movie fans and that it did.Action+Milla Jovovich=good time had by all.

I went to see Narnia today because of the positive comments i've heard from a lot of people i know.What a bad movie.Having read the book (and not really liking it)I didn't expect much but was still blown away at how awful it was.First of all characters come in and out of nowhere with no explanation of who they are and why they are there.Santa Claus gimme a break.How does someone not know what a wardrobe is but know what Christmas is (I'm speaking of course about the forn).Also the little girl cannot act.She smiles before she cries about Forn being a rock.The war which was what i looked forward to was far too short and the villains looked totally ridiculous.The story i found predictable and lame.The sword fight between Peter (who cannot hold a sword)and the witch was amateur at best and they weren't trying to hit each other but trying to hit each others swords.The ending explained almost nothing and left you completely oblivious to who the professor was.If there is going to be a sequel count me out.The only reason i don't give this a 1 is because of the absolutely beautiful cinematography and background scenery.

Mask Of The Phantasm is a far more mature Batman than any i've ever seen.The story is powerful,dark,mysterious,but most importantly realistic.This film could very well be the inspiration for Batman Begins.Mask Of The Phantasm is cocked,locked,and loaded with action,a breathtaking storyline,fantastic animation,and superb voice acting.The twists and turns of the plot is sometimes hard to follow due to a number of flashbacks so children may get very confused.To truly enjoy and appreciate this film you need to be a teenager or adult.Phantasm is a phenomenal adaptation of the character and is portrayed the way he is in the comics.This surpasses Batman and Batman Returns because the characters are much more believable,it also runs Batman Forever and Batman and Robin into the ground well....Every Bat-Fan knows why already.I close by leaving this film in very high regard and recommend it to any Batman fan.

I went in to The Ringer with high hopes that it would be a classic laugh out loud Johnny Knoxville movie but no it was terrible.Not funny at all,if you've seen the trailer than you've seen everything that is "funny" in the film.The story had so much potential to be funny but it seemed like more of a love story than a typical Knoxville movie.There was more romance than comedy which angered me seeing as it was Chick Flick like romance.Johnny played an OK part but the movie hardly revolved around the special Olympics storyline and just kept going on and on with the love story.Then again some may like this seeing as people tend to like romance/comedies like Serendepity or Hitch if you enjoy that sort of thing than I recommend this film.To anyone like me who expected crude laugh out loud comedy like that of movies like,Eurotrip,Duece Bigelowe,American Pie,and Bad Santa I warn you stay far away from The Ringer.You will be let down.You will be disappointed.Stay away.

Wow i am stunned and freaked right out.After seeing Wolf Creek I'm gonna be sleeping with the light on tonight.I love scary movies and am not easy to scare but wow this did a number on me.Wolf Creek is the best horror this year next to Emily Rose.Holy crap I am not going on any secluded highways or road trips no sir.It is traumatizingly scary.The acting the music the anxiety makes it seem so real.The lighting was used well too because it made it seem sorta documentary like.The icing on the cake it's based on true events.Only horror obsessive people will be able to tolerate it.If your an average movie goer who enjoys horrors you are guaranteed to get freaked out.There's my two cents on Wolf Creek.I urge you to see it it is the defining horror of our genre.I'm shaking,I'm on edge that's how good and effective it is.

I saw a pre screening of this along with Aeon Flux and this was soooooo much better because it is just stunningly beautiful.Having been a huge fan of the book i was desperate to see the movie and I was not disappointed at all.This movie IS the book it is that damn good.Zhang Ziyi and Michelle Yeoh OMG you're performances along with Ken Watanabe made me have soo many emotions pour from my soul fantastic job.Set in pre World War 2 Japan a Geisha who was sold at age 9 becomes the best geisha and strikes the head geisha with jealousy,she also is in love with a man whom she is desperate to have.Thats the gist of it but i can't give a good synopsis without spoilers being added so i'll leave it at that.The scenery is soo pretty and breathtaking and adds so much to the film.People this movie made me an emotional train wreck,feelings of happiness,sadness,anger,hate,and love surged through me as i watched this piece of cinematic art.Take it from me Memoirs Of a Geisha is this years best film and is guaranteed to receive an academy award.It's that damn good.

The sequel to The Mask Of Zorro is a decent enough film but definitely nothing to go crazy about.Zorro is entertaining but tends to get slow in the middle and allowed my interest to be lost.However the end justifies the means because Zorro's ending was off the hook action packed.This movie was more a family film with very cartoony like characters but still is enough to please an adult.I would'nt recommend you go to the theatre to watch this but wait till DVD because it's definitely a movie perfect for a boring Friday night.Zorro's got good acting,and good action but definitely becomes a slow moving film with overdone unnecessary comedy.The jokes are funny but after awhile it's just like OK we get it it's not funny anymore (very much like jim carry).Zorro was a good way for me to kill some time and have some fun but that's all.Don't expect academy award performances because it really isn't a serious film at all.Unlike the first movie this is very clichéd and not taken very seriously however it's a perfect film for it's target audience which i'd guess would be kids ages 8 to 12.

Unlike action movies such as xxx,xxx:state of the union,mortal kombat,resident evil,or the matrix Elektra's characters have visible emotions,morals,and feelings about each situation they're in.Very good acting by Jennifer Garner,Kristen Prout,and Will Yun Lee who's performances certainly stand out the most in this film.Elektra has very stylized action,excellent scenery and effects and a very solid story with emotion that is so strong the plot holes can be easily ignored and do not ruin the movie.Though fanboys may be disappointed with Elektra's plot being very irrelevant to the comic books,Jennifer Garners portrayal of Marvels character Elektra is top notch and should satisfy all viewers.After watching this film 5 times i've noticed how much emotion is in these characters and how their relationship goes from nothing to almost a mother/daughter relationship.I find that very genius film making to show a relationship grow and grow throughout a film to the point that you consider them a family and the end of the movie.I must say Elektra is a very good film that's impressed me every time i watch it.Great acting,cool action I applaud this movie.

I went into Zathura expecting a bunch of crap but wow was i ever surprised.This movie is sooo cool it's scary.Being a 16 year old girl I only went to see this movie because my nephews wanted to see it and I ended up having more fun then they did.Zathura is a very different adventure film from the creator of the snore fest Jumanji.Unlike Jumanji this is much more fun and charismatic and is much easier to follow.Zathura is one of those family films that will turn out to be a classic like The Sandlot because it's just about the most entertainment a kid can get out of a movie.It is meant to be fun and wacky and successfully delivers what it set out to do.Zathura is a fun filled adventure for the whole family.So get to the theatre and enjoy Zathura 10 outta 10 all the way.

i just got back from seeing doom and wow what a movie.I went in completely oblivious to the story and walked out totally satisfied.This is by far the rocks best performance in any film he's been in and karl urban was also fantastic with his performance.This movie is a perfect sci fi film that reminds me of a cross between the alien films,and the resident evil films absolutely marvelous.The reason it is so great is because it has a solid story,excellent sets and lighting,awesome gun action and fight scenes,great acting,and pleases Doom fans and non doom fans with an awesome sci fi adventure. perfect for the sci fi franchise it started with star wars,next was alien,followed by predator,and now Doom.Fantastic space movie, excellent zombie film,great video game adaptation whats more to say.everyone who is a science fiction fan get your money and go.screw the bad critics and see it for yourself.I went in with low expectations and walked out only to recommend to all the people who are on this site.10 Doom all the way.

this is without a doubt the absolute worst horror movie i have ever seen in my life.lets begin with the totally unnesscessary and cheesy cgi bats,hyena's,and fly's.now combine that with a movie that thinks it is being scary simply by being gross.this film focuses far to much on gore most of it being cheesy and fake to scare it's audience.the possessed girl is about as scary as samara in scary movie 3 and the cgi animation to make her body jump high and crabwalk looks absolutely friggin ridiculous.100% not scary and 100% pointless,and stupid.every time a scary scene arises they ruin it by trying to show gruesome deaths that turn out to be just horendous.not only are the death scenes overly bloody and violent but there is absolutely no sign of how or why there bodies ended up where they were.oh and if the hyena's attacked an innocent kid why would'nt they attack merrin when he was in the graveyard uncovering the mystery.if you don't wanna waste your life i advise not seeing this jumbled up thrown together piece of garbage.for those of you wanting your intelligence insulted then enjoy excorcist the beginning.

marvels new film is fun but not fantastic.the action is pretty cool,and the story is fun but it's nothing to go crazy about.ioan griffudd poorly played mr.fantastic.he was boring,annoying to listen to,and didn't seem to care about the character.mr.fantastic became mr.pathetic.Micheal chiklis showed great enthusiasm portraying the very self conscious thing,jessica alba doesn't disappoint as invisible girl,and chris evans stole the show as human torch.fantastic four is cheesy,unbelievable,and over the top but was definitely entertaining to watch and was certainly not boring.tim story did not plan this out to well and really made this movie an improved batman and robin.although given fantastic 4 is a hard film for anyone to make,and due the actors dedication to their characters this film i feel is a success.i recommend you see this movie because it is a fun film to watch and it's goofy cgi doesn't ruin it to the point that you have to shut it off.the perfect popcorn movie has arrived.

this is terrific.Wu xia movies have never been as good as the groundbreaking crouching tiger hidden dragon.zhang zit gives a memorable performance as a princess desperate to be the master of her own life.not only that but chow yun fat,michelle yeoh,and jun pei pei give unbelievably good performances as well.crouching tiger is more than just fantastic action,and excellent sword fights,but it has a captivating emotional story about four people fighting for what they want.Chinese action films are going to be taken to a new level due to this movie.crouching tiger is an unforgettable movie with classic scenes like when jade fox shot the ribbon at li mu bai.it is emotional, action packed,and overall a timeless classic in Chinese cinema.ten out of ten without a doubt.you just have to experience this.

This is by far the most realistic and fantastic comic book movie ever made.The acting is superb Tom Jane gives an unforgettable performance,and John Travolta is the perfect villain.The action in this film is stylized,intense,and always for a reason.It's a very serious movie about a depressed man whose family is murdered,and he goes on an endless quest to avenge them.It is without a doubt the best story of vengeance to date.The Punisher defeats Kill Bill to become the number one revenge movie by delivering a great story,superb solid acting,and unbelievable action.Comic book movies are certain to change in style and this will be the ice breaker for that to happen.The Punisher is an unbelievable comic to film adaption and i recommend it to anyone and everyone.This is the style that started the on screen change from movies like X-men and Spiderman to the darker,more emotional Spiderman 2,Daredevil,Sin City,History Of Violence,and Batman Begins.I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this magnificent piece of art.WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
