I like it. For fair references to classic scenes, for old fashion atmosphere , reminding 1950 decade, for the precise - pleasant definition of happiness, for choreographz, in same measure. A nice video, a beautiful song and lovelz portrait of happiness, in its basic, fair, seductive, honest and just charming terms.

It is just interesting the art of this canaan Cox, using, in smart manner, familiar themes with a sort of complicity with audience.

Sure, some unrealism, some holes, maybe few pathetic crumbs.

But a profound, for reflection, short film, defined by provocative story and inspired acting, by concision and admirable answer about reconciliation with yourself in grief periods, loss and too loud silences.

A middle age man in a car.

A young man near him, presumed male escort or prostitute. Their talk. The care - love for young guy from his lover- protector- client. The teenager behavior of the younger. And, line by line, the discover of the true nature of relation between them and the obstacles making real difficult the dialogue.

The clever craft is the basic virtue of this game of nuances and source of revelation.

The easy use of sympathy for one or other character represents the main trait of Late night creep.

Indeed, a short gay film but in different terms than you suppose and this trick, not bad at whole, gives nice touch to the story.

Indeed, just impressive.

Three friends in night. Talks, jokes, opinions about a feminin animation character. One of them living from room. Using this occasion, Chris, ironized for presumed gay behavior , makes a terrible confession.

At the end, the feeling to see a real great short film.

First, for wise crafted dialogue, exploring in fair terms a profound delicate theme.

Second - for acting, both. Rupert Fennessy and Sebastian Delascasas proposing intense, impecable constructed dialogue , in which trust, solid friendship, the heavy responsability, the radical change of image of the other are well defined moment by line.

A great film , special for the strange, bitter, dark, fragil confession of Chris.

Surprising, indecent, not polite. Maybe shocking.

The intime life of our grandmothers . Drawings - more than suggestive, testimonies, photos. But, after the first reaction, the memories about taboos and first sexual lessons and the atmosphere of old houses and the sounds from bedroom in summer vacantions and... .

Not shocking. Only portraits with presumed feministic touch. In fact, pure reality about domination of man, the word of Church about intime life of couples, the advices for tricks offering more easy life, cures for infertility and faces of ladies , reflecting their every day life in more than precise terms.

A short film , for some reasons, just useful as voice from past.

A not ordinary friendship between a yyoung girl and a fly. A jar as home for little pet. An imprudence and one of gesture too familiar for many from us. But, in this case, the cruel murder of a poor fly has not so nice consequences.

Many virtues of this so violent short film than seems more than the ordinary horror.

First, the beautiful performance of young Sidonie Vilas Boas. Second, the portrait of Liuba, the death of insect defining her terrible frustrations and the source of not ordinary friendship. In same measure, the graphic violence, intense and pretty surprising for Arma lux univers. And, sure, the end.

It is almost strange to define the freshness as basic virtue of Arma Lux film. Because it is , always, the basic spice.

But , in this case, the improvisation, cinematography, the comments and the dramatism of story, more suggested, are the basic good pieces composing, in beautiful manner, this lovely freshness.

A late summer. Three young people at the vacantion house of one of them for the last evening of summer.

Memories, friendship, maybe romance crumbs, a hot night in cover of party, a pill making, in both senses, the night more intense, the shadow of father.

In short, a profound beautiful film, seductive, for fine work of young actors, atmosphere and close ups, for the wise atmosphere of end of vacantion, just precious.

Being myself teacher, I saw this film with...empathy. And interest. Recognizible situations, inspired end, good acting, honest perspective about roots of behavior of two characters , beautiful cinematography.

And, maybe more important, wise doses of high realism, defining not only the relation between a young man, teribilistic, frustrated, looking for attention and affection and to find his way and his mentor, high vulnerable- at the first sight, not very different by his student.

A film to remind small significant things about define young people , about our barriers in relation with others and about use of a run in forest. And, sure, about photography art.

The intense beauty of the films proposed by Arma lux. This is the essential gift offered by short films like the Memory of Silence, defining small, ordinary stories - in this case, the romance between a couple and his cheeting, her sadness and the sea as answer to the sentimental deroute.

The touch of hands - beautiful - inspired image proposed in Keep on shining, to, a photo and the advices of a friend. That is all, not ignoring the gentle music.

Difficult to define it, you love the spring air and the grace of story. And the close ups, not less.

The films of Arma lux are seeds of states, not exactly stories. This remains their essential, precious virtue.

Not being a serious fan of Patricia Highsmith univers, considering than Plein soleil and The talented Mr. Ripley are the reasonable adaptations of series, , being Netflix viewer not so often, the basic kick for see was Andrew Scott , especially after admirable job in All of Us Strangers.

I was seduced by the film noir atmosphere.

By close ups and by vulnerability of Thomas Ripley proposed by steven Zallian, by hunted animal status, poor apartment and the tricks for survive defining the life of Ripley.

Not knowing the books, the atmosphere, just beautiful crafted, is enough for me.

So, charming premise.

Charming. It is fair term about this trash film inspiring, today, smiles, a form of nostalgia and the appreciation for special effects of 1960 decade.

A small Irish isle . A ship looking for water. Bizarre reactions of fishers and a smart little boy helping two men from ship.

And the source of preocupation of local people revealed. For water , a proposition from strangers. And beginning of terrible consequences.

Indeed, nothing new but the good consolation remains the end and the invulnerability of monster, like the fall of London symbols from London Bridge to Big Ben.

Few nice scenes and the red eyes of monster , the remind of Godzilla and full unrealism - few good points of this film for pure nostalgics.

At first sight, a video about depression. A song about the way to discover the other and his miserable life as presumed compensation of your sad life. And, sure, the presumed only option in tough period.

A song about loneliness and self hate.

Simple crafted, realistic at whole.

And , maybe, useful for remind - reflect old truths.

Animation, like in case of videos of Steven Wilson, as fair - inspired option for define significant slices from near reality , defined by domestic life aspects, by conflicts and voyerism of neighbor.

So, people who eat darkness. In so many cases, too often, just us.

A newspaper article title defines the situation. But, before discover it, you know. You feel. A young woman washing the floor, making the bed, prepairing dinner, staying in yard front to the tree .

And, in the next day, resurrecting same ritual.

A song about loss, inspired served by a well crafted video , reminding the fight against yourself, the imposibility of acceptance of loss and the fragile refuge in routine.

A so familiar story than it seems banal.

But it reflects, only, a form, reasonable , in essence, to survive.

Inspired music, fair crafted story, inspired animation. And the message who, in profound sense, just matters.

A young housewife, defined by frustrations, vulnerability and wish to live a life with some meaning.

Her twin, cinema star, elegant, preocuped by career, present at encounter with precise purpoise.

And two solutions , different for each of young ladies.

A film about two so different universes and the way to use, in your benefit, the other. For Jeanie, a form of Bovaric definition of her future.

For Layla, pragmatic in her intentions, a good opportunity for selfprotection against media.

The final is just cold impressive.

In short, smart crafted short film, precise scene by scene, a fair constructed story and a simple portrait of survive.

I loved the beautiful acting of young Jade Springer. In good measure, it is her film, the steps of maturisation being fair and precise defined, scene by scene.

Between school and family, a young girl fights to understand the life. The tensioned relation between parents, the absence of elder brother, studying in Spain, the mistress of father, the bad state of mother are pieces of a difficult travel to define the near realty in proper terms.

The result , realistic, gentle and inspired, portrait of acceptance of truth and an ambiguous end, defining the refuge in personal life , far by parents problems .

A woman wishes become mother. Each pregnancy test is source of dessapointment. But one day, an accident in night time, offers unexpected hope. So, like in a fairy tale, she puts in her body a life , as premise for so long term expected joy.

Easy to define Legs as supernatural horror, eccentric subject, dark comedy.

But significant, in my modest opinion, is the touching poetry of subject , acting and blue scene in bedroom.

In some measure, the end, to.

A dream, very familiar for many ladies and a presumed bizarre solution.

Well acted, beautiful crafted . And a serious fist of questions. Enough for be seduced by it.

Maybe , two virtues : the cast and the realism about American presence in Italy after war. Shocking, a mix of Fellini and Catch 22, seductive for beautiful work of Marcello Mastrianni and for captivity of Burt Lancaster in a cage of cliches, it is adaptation of the novel of Curzio Malaparte, offering, in same measure, more than the word of book.

Maybe, today, more convincing about reactions, cliches and ways of survive in crisis time.

Exactly this cruel exploration of truth is its real virtue.

In short, a honest perspective about prejudices and tough lessons, about people behavior and their gestures.

Not story, only a chain of episotes. At final- a spoon of bitterness.

...from so many others. Important, interesting, useful. Maybe pathetic in some measure.

A wake up in which you admire the hope of great David Attenborough and the solutions of Johan Rockstrom. Is it enogh ? The polite answer from me - just I do not know !.

I saw this film as part of extracurricular program of my students - The Green Week . Not being a fan of ecologism, I loved more the images than the message. But a good point is obvious - precise portrait of our nature. And, in fact, this is all. Enough for understand than the future is not shining and our vulnerability is not only metaphoric ( we know very well this but we ignore it with...generosity ).

In essence, nothing new or original . But correct crafted. The star of film, maybe the old book first , reminding secrets and, maybe, meaning, in some circumstances, of word dog.
