Warning: Spoilers
As a Quentin Tarantino fan I was really looking forward to this movie and expected it to be awesome.

I was kinda wrong.

The start of the movie is slow, really slow, but necessary to explain the characters to the audience.

The middle of the movie is great, the tension builds and there is a scene with Samuel L Jackson that is, lets just say, different.

Then the ending.. ah, the ending. What a mess, its truly truly awful, after investing so much time to build up the characters the ending is so quick and so bad its actually laughable.

Make your own mind up but it certainly let me down.

Loved it

I took my son to see this movie recently and we both loved it, I'm reading all of these lengthy reviews in astonishment, character depth, animation, story lines.... ITS A KIDS MOVIE!!! FOR KIDS!!! It was good entertainment, funny in parts, sad in others and a few times my son was little bit scared.

Imagine the movie if you were a kid, nothing is better than dinosaurs at that age (apart from sweets)

Go and see it, make your own mind up, but I must admit all the kids loved it from what we could hear walking out after wards.

Good job.

What on earth have I just watched there? This movie is horrendous, seriously.

Good bits - the ladies are well tidy. its quite a nice house.

Bad bits - wooden acting, terrible plot, the script is the biggest joke ever etc etc how this movie was given the green light in Hollywood is puzzling to say the least.

I also loved the bit where Keanu is "deejaying" ha ha ha its hilarious, the whole thing is hilarious.

Avoid this unless you actually want to sit and laugh (like I did) all the way through.

Wow.

Good. Not brilliant.

I really liked this film, the acting was spot on, the direction superb, the concept was fantastic, the effects top notch and it was visually stunning, however..

As good as it was/is I felt it lost its way at the worst time, near the end, when I really wanted the movie to deliver I sort of felt let down, this is very subjective as friends have told me they loved the ending, but the whole point of any review is all about your own personal experience and I'm afraid I just didn't feel the ending at all.

That being said I would always recommend seeing this film, its a fantastic piece of cinema and extremely thought provoking.

Matt Damon plays a great cameo as the panto villain too :-)

This movie is absolutely terrible.

Imagine melting a 4kg ball of Edam, a 12kg slab of cheddar and 47 cases of mozzarella, it still wouldn't be anywhere near as cheesy as this piece of drivel.

I was dragged along to see it and for the entire time I sat there wondering if this was some kind of sick joke I wasn't in on.

The effects were decent but lets be honest, which movie doesn't have decent effects nowadays? The acting is absolutely horrific, the rock has the acting ability of a disabled fox and I wanted the two English toff kids to die every time they appeared on the screen.

The girl in it, although very attractive, has the personality of a sprout.

Bah! if anyone offers to watch this movie in your presence please punch them in the face.

The ending where the rock says something like "now we rebuild" and the American flag unfurls in the wind made me want to spew my popcorn all over the cinema floor.

Avoid at all costs.

When this came out I was a hip hop submerged teenager and I thought this was the greatest movie of all time, now as a old fogey approaching 40 this movie brings back great memories but its pretty rubbish.

Tupac shows his crazy side and to be fair he did a decent job of showing the tormented evil within.

The soundtrack still stands up, the Bass in the Eric B and Rakim track still gives me goosebumps.

All in all I think old sod's like me that grew up in the golden era of hop hop will use this to reminisce, and young kids obsessed with lil wayne, Tyga and whatever rubbish passes as hip hop today will think its daft.

Worth a watch, just.

Ill keep this quick as I'm just tucking into a big fat sarnie and a cup of tea..

This movie, this movie..

Its boring, there I've said it.

Its tedious, its annoying, I don't have any interest in the characters at all, the hacking thing is always a bugbear with me as Hollywood tries to make it look either cool, or they don't know anything about hacking so make it look stupidly like some kind of game.

As ever I thought Mann shot the film well and the city views and locations he selects always feel gritty and also real. But honestly apart from that I cant think of anything good to say.

Avoid PS - This sandwich is amazing and I'd give it 7.8/10
