True Lies (2023)

It's not that bad.
27 April 2023
I think this series has gotten some unearned bad reviews. It's nothing like the movie, and it definitely is a broadcast show and a little more family friendly. Then you would expect I for one however have enjoyed the episodes a lot more than I thought I would. The effects are good. The action is good. The spy stuff is fun and the actors connect. Ginger does a great job and I for one think it should be rated higher. I guess if you go into it, not expecting the movie and watching a nice generic spy, thriller it is somewhat satisfying, it definitely isn't the hit of the year, but it is a fun watch. The character Gib, who I know from "Ballers" is the most fun and Beverly D'Angelo still rules. A good watch for broadcast TV. It's no FBI, but it is entertaining.

Just exhilarating!

By far, this blows any season of Dexter away. This is definitely a launching pad for future greatness! Don't sleep on this. Dexter at its peak! Harrison's story line is epic. I can't wait for the finale.

Awesome!

Warning: Spoilers
Family Guy had actually been doing well this year. This was a great episode. The Caddyshack reference was fantastic. And there was no Meg lololol. She sucks anyway. Oh the Weird Science reference was well done as well!

This really did Stewie justice. A great episode showing his insecurities and weaknesses and his pathology. Wow.

But what about the college side?
6 June 2019
I was riveted and waited to see what happened to the kids in college. They even said, you gotta cover that.

Great story, but incomplete.

Best writing anywhere.

This show never sits on it's laurels. And this episode made sure we all know Wendy is the key to this show.

Superjail! (2007–2014)

Whatever, haters...

This show is brilliant. Yes, it's for people on hallucinogens, but the last two episodes (Time Police 1 & 2) show how deep the story can get. There are some poignant statements made about totalitarianism. If the end of Season One can illustrate what's ahead in Season Two (premiering April 3, 2011), then this show will top itself. The animation makes Rob Zombie jealous. Jared shoots evil cupcakes!

What a funny, dark, and sadistic psychedelic mind f***. Thanks Superjail! You made me decide to trip for the first time in 10 years. And it paid off! I have been checking monthly for two years for Season 2. I cannot wait to see what is next!

I just don't get all of the panning...
7 August 2009
I thought it was solid. When I used to get home after school to watch GI Joe, I got campy, unrealistic violence. I got the same here. I thought the characters were developed enough. Any more it would have distracted form the real point...Destruction of expensive technology.

It was better than Transformers.

Really people, stop looking to critics who probably didn't watch the show day after day. Just go see a movie you like and judge for yourself. Many great movies were destroyed by the critics.

The economy sucks, life sucks for a lot of people. This is a great way to spend two hours and forget about all of this crap.

Also, remember people, when you text during the movies your phone screens are also very annoying and distracting.

Whoever you are, if you can't unhook from the Matrix for two hours of your life after spending a fortune at a theater, you have issues. You aren't that important. If you were you would have a private theater. Stop texting and tweeting from the movie theater. You suck.

Blade Runner (1982)
4/10
Garbage
18 October 2006
There isn't a zero? Well, Blade Runner can have the one star for the special effects. This movie stinks and then the director found a way to make it worse by releasing a director's cut. It is so difficult to watch. It pains me. It took ten tries before I could get through it.

I would rather be chained to a chair and have a 500 lb. woman with halitosis breathing in my face while being forced to watch Armageddon, Titanic, Pearl Harbor, and Contact over and over again than watch 15 minutes of this colossal piece of garbage. And Harrison Ford is a great actor, which makes it even harder to imagine how bad this movie can possibly be.
