The Boys: The Instant White-Hot Wild (2022)
Another amazing finale to another amazing season of The Boys
That finale is absolutely amazing! I loved the twists and turns that played out, and it does a brilliant job of wrapping up this amazing season of The Boys. The acting here is top notch, and Antony Starr needs an Emmy nomination for his performance as Homelander. At first I wasn't sure how Season 4 can increase the stakes, but I think they found a way to do so. The fight sequences were absolutely insane, and I was on the edge of my seat throughout! Bravo to another phenomenal finale, one of the show's best episodes!
Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
Best DCEU movie ever!!
Zack Snyder's Justice League's an absolutely amazing DC movie, and stands as Zack's best DC movie, and best movie in the DCEU!!!
I can't say how much this movies does really well at!! The acting is phenomenal, the VFX looks stunning, the soundtrack is marvelous, the writing's so well done here, it's emotional, and the pacing is well paced even at its runtime!! The action sequences are outstanding here, they are extremely well choreographed, and well edited, and they look like they were ripped out of the Lord of the Rings!!
The characters are done JUSTICE, and everything that happens feels earned here. This is truly an amazing sequel to MoS and BvS. Also, this is THE BEST MOVIE IN THE DCEU!!! Batman is phenomenal, Superman is spectacular, Wonder Woman is at her best here, The Flash is marvelous here, Aquaman is superb, and Cyborg is the heart of the movie!! Zack didn't lie when he said Cyborg's the heart of the story. Each of the actors was phenomenal as their characters, and this whole movie is absolutely amazing!!
After years of wanting this to happen, it does, and it's absolutely worth the wait!! I really hope we could get sequels to this!! #RestoreTheSnyderVerse
WandaVision: The Series Finale (2021)
WandaVision ends on a high note!!
WandaVision was a terrific show, and this is a great finale that wraps up the story, and sets up the future of the MCU. Sure there are some divisive moments, but they didn't necessarily bother me. I loved seeing the action sequences in this episode, especially after all of the sitcom aspects of the show being very crucial in the previous episodes. I loved seeing Scarlet Witch use her powers to great lengths, and I loved seeing her comicbook suit!! The ending did a good job resolving the show's story, while setting up the future. Seeing the end credits scenes has me INSANELY EXCITED for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and her future in the MCU. Overall, this is a solid finale to a fantastic show!!
Superman & Lois: Pilot (2021)
Amazing Pilot.
I've been a fan of Superman for a really long time, and this Pilot was a massive surprise!! The opening sequence was PERFECT, and it really hooked me from the start. Seeing Superman in his first costume while carrying a car gave my nostalgia, and I loved how it paid homage to it. The acting is great, as the leads who portray Superman, Lois, and the kids are great for their roles!! The VFX looks marvelous for this show, it looks very cinematic, and beautiful to look at!! I loved how this show's doing something other Superman properties haven't tackled much: A Superman raising 2 teenage sons. I loved the family dynamic so far, and it leads to some amazing scenes. I love the Pilot so much, and the ending where The Stranger's pretty much revealed to be another version of Lex Luthor makes me extremely excited for the more episodes!! SUPERMAN IS BACK!!!
Pulp Fiction (1994)
Pulp Fiction is a MASTERPIECE!
Wow, I'm blown away by how fantastic this movie is. This movie has an incredible cast!! John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson are perfect as Vincent and Jules, and the rest of the cast are spectacular!! It's so humorous at times, and it always lands. I liked the different stories involved in the film, and how they all tie back together. This movie does have some messed up stuff, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE PULP FICTION SO MUCH!!! Now Pulp Fiction's one of my favorite films of all time, because Tarantino's a genius, and he's one of the best directors of all time!!!
Inglourious Basterds (2009)
The best Tarantino film I've seen by far!!
Inglourious Basterds is a masterpiece by the legendary Quentin Tarantino!! The acting from the cast is phenomenal (Brad Pitt and Christoph Waltz were AMAZING), the humor is great, the action sequences are epic, the soundtrack is spectacular, the dialogue is so well written, and everything else is marvelous!! It's so engaging, intense, and entertaining all in 1 film!! This is easily my favorite Tarantino film to date, and this is now one of my favorite films of all time!!
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Decent Sequel to Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman 1984 is a decent sequel to Wonder Woman!! It has solid acting from the cast, and Gal Gadot delivers her best performance as the iconic heroine yet! Pedro Pascal is a marvelous antagonist in the form of Maxwell Lord. The action sequences are cool to watch when there are any. The villains here are much better than Ares from the first movie, and WW84 has a superior third act to its predecessor. This movie has some great humor, and it never fails to make you laugh when needed. The emotional moments in WW84 are so heartbreaking to watch, it never fails to make the audience cry, or shed a tear. The story here is good, but it drags midway through the movie, and it's not as good as it could've been. The pacing was all over the place, something that bothered me in the movie. Overall, it's a step down from the first movie, but it's not bad like people make it out to be!! P.S. Stay for the credits, it'll be worth it!!
The Mandalorian: Chapter 16: The Rescue (2020)
PERFECT ENDING TO A MARVELOUS SEASON
This season has been a wild ride from start to finish! It's an improvement over Season 1, and contains some of the best moments in Star Wars history! Seeing characters return for the finale like Bo Katan were phenomenal, and it had some great VFX, and fabulous directing from Peyton Reed himself! The duel between Din and Moff Gideon was absolutely amazing, and it gets better from there, as we get to see some of the best sequences in Star Wars history, and it happens to be none other than LUKE SKYWALKER. It was a total shocker, but it was absolutely AWESOME!!! The ending was extremely heartbreaking, as we see Din part ways with Grogu, so he can train under Luke as a Jedi, while it will make Star Wars fans like me happy, it makes it sad to watch knowing how strong the bond between Din and Grogu is. Lastly, we get a surprising end credit scene confirming a Boba Fett spinoff series known as The Book of Boba Fett. What a PERFECT ENDING to a PERFECT SEASON! It's been a short but awesome ride, and I can't wait to see what happens next in Season 3!! THIS IS THE WAY!!!
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
Vol.2 is a worthy sequel to Vol.1
I was Hooked on a Feeling again! Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2 was awesome. The humor was great, the chemistry between the characters was fantastic, the action scenes were really cool, the acting was perfect, the story was good, I loved the addition of Ego, and the effects were awesome. Drax, Rocket, Yondu, the whole cast were really funny. It's not as good as Vol.1, but it's a worthy sequel to it!
The Dark Knight (2008)
Best DC Movie of all time!
The Dark Knight is one of the best movies of all time!! Christopher Nolan knocks it out of the park with this masterpiece!! The acting, the cast itself, the action, the spectacle, the cinematography, and everything about it is PERFECTION!!! This movie revolutionized the CB genre and movies forever, and it features one of the best antagonists of all time in the form of Heath Ledger's Joker! The Dark Knight is not only one of the greatest sequels of all time, but it's also my favorite Nolan film to date!! There has never been a DC movie that tops this!!
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Fantastic Tribute to Hollywood's Golden Age.
I don't get the hate for this movie, because I enjoyed this movie a lot! The actors were fabulous!! The soundtrack was fantastic, the directing was amazing, and I loved how it resembles Hollywood in the 60s. Brad Pitt definitely deserved the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor!! The climax pays off all the buildup in the movie. Sure the pacing is super slow, but it was enjoyable when you watch it again, and it makes the buildup to the climax worth it! I think this is a great film for Quentin Tarantino, and I loved how he tried to do something different here than in his other works. Overall, I absolutely enjoyed this movie, and I think it deserves those nominations!!
Titans (2018)
Promising DC series that needs improvements.
Titans is a great CB series, and I enjoy it a lot, but there are tons of room for improvements. The cast are great, the action is amazing, the costumes are fantastic, and the dynamics with each other are very well done. However, the writing is mediocre at times (primarily the finales), the VFX is weird at times, and there are too many characters at this point. It's still better than most DC shows today, but it's far from perfect. Hopefully, Season 3 will improve and be the best season yet!!
The Boys: What I Know (2020)
Best episode of the show, and DIABOLICAL FINALE!
"What I Know" is a marvelous ending to a fantastic sophomore outing of The Boys, and probably my favorite episode of the series. It does a very good job of wrapping up the story of this season, while expertly setting up Season 3.
The cast and characters were phenomenal, and each character had a huge moment in the finale. Homelander and Butcher were the highlights, and they showed so much range in this episode. Maeve was great, and seeing her team up with Kimiko and Starlight against Stormfront was incredibly satisfying! The Boys had a good share of moments too! Stormfront is finally defeated and exposed, and it was a satisfying moment.
Now the emotional part, watching Becca die in front of Billy and Ryan was absolutely heartbreaking. Knowing that he finally got her back, only to lose her again. It really shows you the pain in Billy's eyes. Seeing Homelander descend to the ground seeing Stormfront badly burned and damaged was well done!
Now here comes the twist, it's a total shocker that nobody will expect. After wondering who was the supe blowing people's heads, the reveal was absolutely bonkers, and I'm so curious to see what she's gonna do next, and if she'll be a friend or foe to The Boys.
This finale makes the weekly wait absolutely worth it! I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next to The Boys and The Seven in Season 3, hopefully it's as diabolical as the first 2 seasons! This show is one of the best CB shows on air right now!
10/10
Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Blade Runner 2049 is an amazing Sci-Fi film!
Blade Runner 2049 was a sci-fi masterpiece with amazing effects, strong performances, smart story, great soundtrack, dazzlingly beautiful VFX, terrific directing, and some amazing action. I don't know whether it's better than the original, but this was definitely worth the wait. I would love to see a Blade Runner 3 happen.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
An okay conclusion to a fantastic series.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is a decent movie, but it sadly doesn't end the Skywalker Saga on a high note. Lets start with the Pros: The acting was excellent, the VFX is still great here, the soundtrack is still marvelous, and the duels were cool. Now the negatives: The story is plain mediocre, the big plot twist didn't stick the landing, the fan-service was forced, and the ending left me with a mixed feeling. I understand why the movie wasn't like it should've been, because TLJ messed up the Sequels badly, but instead of acknowledging the movie, they try to retcon it, and it leaves so many plot holes. TROS is at least an enjoyable movie to watch, and it feels more like a Star Wars movie than TLJ, but that still doesn't make this movie a solid conclusion. I'm hoping that Disney does a lot better with Star Wars going forward. TROS is good, but far from perfect imo.
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
Not the ideal middle chapter for the Sequels
Star Wars: The Last Jedi wasn't the ideal middle installment. Instead of continuing what we got with The Force Awakens, Rian Johnson chose to steer the series into a different direction, and it hurts the trilogy as a result. I did think the acting was really good, the VFX were beautiful, and that the music was spectacular. I'll admit that this movie has the best cinematography in the entire series. However, TLJ massacred characters like Luke and Finn, and that didn't do so well with the movie. It's great as a movie, but it doesn't work so well as a Star Wars movie.
Interstellar (2014)
Interstellar's a Scientific Masterpiece!!
Interstellar is one of the best and most beautiful sci-fi movies ever made!! The actors and absolutely fantastic, and Matthew McConaughey delivers his best performance here! The movie has the best soundtrack out of all of Nolan's films. The emotional moments here are so well executed!! The VFX here is some of the best in the history of cinema!! The characters, tone, storytelling, and writing are super compelling here. Nolan knocks it out of the park with Interstellar!! Y'all have to see this masterpiece!! It's one of my Top 3 favorite Nolan films of all time!!
Inception (2010)
Inception is Nolan's Masterpiece
Inception's one of the greatest films of all time, and one of Nolan's best! Everything from the acting, the soundtrack, the cinematography, the effects, the story are all masterclass filmmaking!! I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish, and I was never let down. Everyone needs to watch Inception at some point in their lives. Besides The Dark Knight, Inception is Nolan's best movie ever, and it's one of my Top 3 Nolan films ever!
Friends (1994)
Comedic Masterpiece!
I started Friends a few months ago, and I absolutely loved it!! It's a simple show with a simple premise, and has one of the best casts of all time!! I love how it's relatable in everyday life, and the show's message of "Friends will always be there for you."
It's super funny and a joy to watch too!! It'd be impossible to not laugh or be shocked at any moment on the show. The cast is easily the best part, they're fantastic in their respective roles, and their dynamic with one another is AMAZING. Still one of the best comedy sitcoms of all time, and Friends is a timeless masterpiece that'll never die!!
Parks and Recreation (2009)
Fantastic Series!! I love P&R!!
Parks and Recreation had a rocky start, just like The Office did in its first season, but Parks and Recreation quickly improved, and became one of the best comedy shows ever made!! I absolutely love the characters, the actors, the humor, the character dynamics, etc. Once the show hits Season 3, it's consistently amazing from start to finish. It packs the show with tons of heartfelt moments that make you cry. The show also benefits from an ASTONISHING ENDING!!! P&R came out on top, and it's definitely one of the greatest comedy series of the 21st Century!
The Office (2005)
Best Comedy Series of All Time!!!
I love The Office, and it's the best comedy series ever made! The actors are FANTASTIC, and there's no person who's miscast on this show. The humor is absolutely AMAZING, it has me die out laughing every 5 minutes in every episode. I love the jokes, and the situations they get themselves in. Even though Season 8's the weakest season, I'd still give this show a 10/10! I absolutely love The Office, and it'll always reign as the King of Comedy shows!!
Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
A great new take on Spider-Man.
Spider-Man Homecoming is a great first outing for the MCU's iteration of Spider-Man. The acting is great, story is interesting, the visuals, effects, humor are also great, and it had a great plot twist! Tom Holland did what Tobey and Andrew failed at, he succeeded in being both a good Peter Parker and a good Spider-Man. Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man without a doubt. Vulture's a great villain, and I love how he's a sympathetic character instead of a full-on bad guy. I loved this movie more than most people do, and I absolutely love this take on the character.
Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
The best movie in the Thor Trilogy!!
Thor Ragnarok's an outstandingly hilarious movie from start to finish, the performances were marvelous, the music was great, the story was interesting, and the ending was really good. Hela is a worthy antagonist to Thor in this installment. A con is that it was way too light-hearted, and some scenes like Odin's death that needed emotional weight didn't get any of that. Overall, Thor Ragnarok is the best MCU movie of the year and the best Thor movie in the trilogy.
Captain America: Civil War (2016)
A fantastic start for Phase 3!
Marvel's Captain America Civil War is one of my Top 3 favorite MCU movies ever. It's a great start to Phase 3, and I loved how it deals with the fallout of Age of Ultron and previous MCU flicks.
Great action, great story, great acting from an all star cast, great effects. Zemo's a great villain, and I liked how he's a different kind of antagonist. I loved the airport battle, but the final battle between Cap, Bucky, and Iron Man is just amazing!! It was from that point on that the MCU will never be the same!! It sets up Infinity War and the rest of Phase 3 very well!! Captain America: Civil War's my favorite movie in the Captain America trilogy.
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
A mega crossover that doesn't disappoint!!
Avengers: Infinity War is the one of the 2 best MCU movies besides Endgame. It has beautiful visual effects, outstanding performances, amazing story, fabulous soundtrack, very unexpecting, high stakes, great action sequences, and marvelous chemistry!!! It never slows down, and doubles the hype and stakes as it gets to the end. Thanos is the best MCU villain in the series! Loved the movie so much to Infinity. I've been waiting years for it, and it does not disappoint. Infinity War is a MASTERPIECE.
