yo honestly dont trust this, my feelings à chaud sometimes feel like they were written by someone else. like That was my take on it..? ok sure. It's impossible to rank everything so don't take the exact order into consideration. (Except for the Top and the (very) bottom of the list. They're here for a reason.) Also bottom bottom (after 1/10) is what im yet to review or is still airing.

IMPORTANT : take these comments with a pinch of salt bc my sister made me realize i apparently brainwash myself into forgetting all Bad Aspects of a show sometimes.... oops :)

8/10 Misleading cover as always... Ce film et sa musique me hanteront jusqu'à la fin de mes jours. [No Clear Mind - Dream is Destiny] Violent et touchant. Mon coeur se serre rien que d'y repenser :( Very sad happy ending ? (pour citer Mozart l'Opéra Rock : "Et j'ai la joie dans la douleur")

update: i rewatch it once a year. forget how good it is everytime. we love a protagonist with agency, a boy who bites back. still sad tho. still sad.

9/10 SO GLAD I FINALLY WATCHED IT ! (then rewatched it a dozen times, the magic never wears off). The story, the cinematography, the ellipsis, the POVs, the characterisation... i loved it all. I'm conflicted about the sex scenes. I read articles about how it went down and all but I'm conflicted.. I wish the last scene between the girls would've been sweeter, more affectionate :/... BUT THEY GOT A HAPPY ENDING AND UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE I WAS SOOO AFRAID THEY WOULDN'T. I'm so happy and gay and fulfilled wow

9/10 Isn't it crazy how GREAT gay content produced by gay people for gay people can be ?! love science.

This series is made to deconstruct stereotypes and inform/spread awareness about HIV and what a serious job it's doing! The men(mostly, there are only 2 women) and relationships portrayed are diverse which allows to show different sides of a community often stereotyped and used for entertainment. (If you're a little familiar with 'thai BL series', you'll understand what i mean when i say that the fetishization is no joke.) blablablahhhhh loved it

UPDATE : definitely one of my fav shows of all times, no joke. The friendships, the hardships, the gay siblings' relationship(!!!), the complexity, the acting, the music,.. EXCEPTIONAL. no character is simple nor good nor bad. Just humans with flaws trying to find answers. what a journey !

And it's all subbed on their official yt channel. No excuses.

6. I Told Sunset About You (2020–2022)

Votes: 3,467

10/10

I poured everything I had in this Imdb page in order to stay sane lol I would like to say it's the colours and the chemistry but it's so much more than that. It's the humanity with which are treated the characters. All of them. It's the attention given to the smallest details. It's in all the silences and the space given to explore emotions. It's about showing feelings you rarely see shown and the empathy.

So good it's mentally draining. I didn't plan on revisiting my own identity crisis days and yet... We're here to heal.

The directing is époustouflant, each episode like a chapter with a different theme and tone. The creative possibilities of having translation as the main story's topic was not wasted on this team. And the visuals actually are stunning. No scene can be overlooked, they each deserve a 50k words analysis.

7. Transit Girls (2015– )

25 min | Comedy, Romance

Despite high school student Sayuri's reluctance to accept her father's fiancee and her daughter Yui, she begins to develop feelings for the girl.

Stars: Sairi Itô, Yui Sakuma, Kentarô Itô, Ai Yoshikawa

Votes: 283

8/10 Too bad it was this short. The actresses or super talented and their characters endearing. The plot is nicely wrapped up for a very short series and the discourse is progressive. I need more ! + the soundtrack is almost entirely Kenji Furuya's album and it wouldn't be anywhere as good without it. Happy Ending :D

Update : i rewatched it a hundred times by now. The friendships!! Between Sayuri and BOTH her guy AND girl friend is delicious. He's got her back and they make up ! Can't believe this prouesse. Amazing.

8. Like in the Movies (2020)

Stars: Ian Pangilinan, Paolo Pangilinan, Adrienne Vergara, Yesh Burce

Votes: 1,034

9/10

The quality level of this show is cosmic-tier. The characters, the cast, the soundtrack, the stories explored, the messages, did i say the characters?? every single second of it is stellar !

I dont think i've seen this approach of things anywhere else. The premise is more than familiar but the outcome stands out. On. Top. What is there not to love? The number of quotes that will live rent-free in your head.. get ready.

9. Antique (2008)

Director: Kyu-dong Min | Stars: Ju Ji-hoon, Kim Jae-Wook, Yoo Ah-in, Choi Ji-ho

Votes: 1,614

8/10 Very clearly adapted from a manga. Never read it but i'm pretty sure this is the superior version. Mon péché mignon.

I'll go straight to the point i love it, adore it, cherish it. It's my comfort movie. There's something in the mix of musical-like cake baking, the found family trope, working through traumas together and the 2008 dailymotion-uploaded quality of this movie that just Does It Perfectly for me. I can't get enough of it.

10. No. 6 (2011)

8/10 This short anime is one of a kind. It has it all : a well built dystopian society, magic/fantasy, government conspiracy, mystery, interesting characters and most importantly... a subtle romantic sub-plot that makes perfect sense ?!?!!

It's sad that you'll always find this title among yaoi animes :( it isn't one. It's a treasure. It found a cozy spot in my heart and will stay there forever.

11. The Gay and Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo (2016)

A wondrous story of the complexities of relationships, friendly and romantic that blurs the lines of expected tropes through random comedy and realistic, interconnected interactions.

Stars: Brian Jordan Alvarez, Stephanie Koenig, Jon Ebeling, Jason Greene

Votes: 1,325

8/10 The randomness of the exchanges, nonsensical conversations that totally make sense.. that's what friendship is about ! I laughed so much. It felt true and sincere. I'm not happy with everything but that's what i like. Beautifully portrayed characters :) And the quality of the camera work, soundtracks and all!! That was bomb !

12. Long Time No See (2017)

76 min | Action, Drama, Romance

Stars: Seung Ho Yeon, Tak Woo-suk, Kim Myung-hwan

Votes: 805

8/10 The production team asked me to make sure to watch it legally so please do, it's on vimeo! Gay action movies are so rare, we really gotta appreciate their work. I hope we'll get more in the future. Talk about it to your moms and friends please !! It was so good and refreshing. The actors seemed to be rookies but i was seriously impressed. Don't miss out, do yourself a favor :)

8/10 Juste la fin la plus frustrante possible.. Très intense, j'ai arrêté de respirer à plusieurs reprises. Histoires de famille. Superbe.

Family issues. I could totally picture mine in a decade. Beautiful movie. Really intense. You'll catch yourself holding your breath a few times.

Stars: Hugh Dancy, Mads Mikkelsen, Caroline Dhavernas, Laurence Fishburne

Votes: 276,485

9/10 Idk how to qualify the end though...open ending ? happy ending ? tragic ending ? I say they all fit. This show really is one of a kind. They manage to use music and shots you'd find odd in any other context. I loved the complexity of the characters, of their relationships and how the 3 seasons played out like 3 acts of a play. I don't have the words to explain. I'd watch it again anytime.

Director: Naoko Ogigami | Stars: Tôma Ikuta, Kenta Kiritani, Mugi Kadowaki, Eiko Koike

Votes: 1,952

8/10 Why did the ending have to be so down to earth..... T-T All i'm asking for is a found family and a happy ever after........ Is it really too much ? (in my head she left her rag to have a reason to come back and she will. Everyday.)

It was genial nonetheless. I cried. A significant amount. I LOVED how positive it was somehow.... it wasn't all happy (if you dont know yet here's a suicide tw) but the tone.... -the children's actually- charged it with that drive... the resolute groundness of love and acceptance... Ok i'm sorry if i lost you dont ask me to translate fghj

A good movie.

17. Carol (2015)

R | 118 min | Drama, Romance

Director: Todd Haynes | Stars: Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, Sarah Paulson, Kyle Chandler

Votes: 142,340 | Gross: $12.71M

7,5/10 I never expected to cry this much. Idk if it's the hormones to blame or if it was that good. But some moments were so intense i couldn't breathe. The plot is really simple and the dialogues minimalist and that's where you either go snooze or galaxy brain. But they did it right. And i kinda fell in love with Rooney Mara.

Stars: Josefine Frida Pettersen, Iman Meskini, Ulrikke Falch, Lisa Teige

Votes: 38,593

9/10 I've only watched season 3 as of now. Each season focus on/follows one person in particular, like shows their own story and perspective. So s03 (Isak's "arc") is where the magic happens but from what i understand, Eskild (Isak's friend), an openly gay character and a beautiful soul appears in the previous seasons. I can only tell from what i've watched but the discourse is super progressive and the characters are well written and fleshed out. I don't know crap about Norway though so i might be wrong.. Anyway you'll fall in love with THE ENTIRE CAST about 30 sec. in, so good luck !

20. Margarita with a Straw (2014)

Votes: 4,105

8/10 Good story!!! Seriously the pov, the topics explored, the culture, etc. There's just so much to take from this movie. Whatever you're coming for, you can't leave empty handed. The soundtrack is catchy af also, i got my sister to sing Dusokute w/ me and she hasnt watched the movie.

*Spoiler* : I was disappointed the girls weren't endgame but it's not the point of the story so that's on me.

21. His (2020)

Director: Rikiya Imaizumi | Stars: Hio Miyazawa, Kisetsu Fujiwara, Wakana Matsumoto, Honoka Matsumoto

Votes: 755

8/10

Another beautiful one. Children always do it for me. The complexity of having a happy family for gay couples is something that pains me a lot.

It wasn't all pretty but it felt real. The scene that stood out in particular is the climax: the hearing in front of the judge were Nagisa can't stand the viciouness and cruelty his ex-wife and him are using against each other, against someone they love. Some things in life are worth the fight but what if the fight is more damaging than anything to the thing you're trying to salvage ? How to make happiness happen for ourselves without hurting others in the way ? Well, we try. That's what i feel the movie was trying to say. That ending was full of hope of future joys. When Rena tentatively confided in Shun, that was it. That meant I will try, with you, for her, for me, for you. We got to have a little bit of everyone's pov. Noone was completly bad. It's the compassion of it all for me. I greatly enjoyed the nuances. The small village community of old accepting people was the best bonus.

Votes: 17,051

8/10 I love Andrew Scott. I feel a personal connection between us.... Move to France and become my personal father figure challenge ? Anyway this was SO good !? Really felt like a regular film i'd watch on tv. Different journeys, mistakes and friendship and a whole lot of getting inspired by each other to do better for oneself. Beautiful. Especially the student/teacher relationship.

23. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga (2019)

120 min | Comedy, Crime, Drama

The film tells the story of closeted lesbian Sweety Chaudhary and her attempts to come out to her conservative, traditional family.

Director: Shelly Chopra Dhar | Stars: Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Juhi Chawla

Votes: 4,779 | Gross: $1.18M

9/10 This shitty rating is entirely due to homophobia. This was A Watch. Maybe the acting was lacking in places but the story ?? The humour ? The inception-like play in a play/ tricking the viewer even in the promotion of the movie ??? that's genius i'm sorry. They managed to keep the dramatic bollywood flavour all the while delivering a down to earth message. I'm thinking of the final scene with the father. No gimmicks no cheap laughs, it was very raw. Realistic yet optimistic and hopeful. We needed it.

(PS: I'm in love with the soundtrack. I downloaded everything :) )

8/10 I don't know enough about Chinese history to have a say on the political intrigue but i know fashion and i know gay love so trust in me when i say it's a masterpiece in those areas. The costumes really are stunning, I could write a whole essay on them.

Yes there are a few questionable moments like stopping for tofu pudding in the middle of running to safety during an air raid but 1) i've never been in that situation 2) well, gays.

The story is captivating and seeing the contrast of everyone's current situation/personality compared to their past lives is a delight.

Happy ending !

8/10 This movie is so close to my heart :'| Beautiful. I didn't understand the sub-plot ? Is she their daughter or not or what ?? Not the ending i hoped for but i guess you can call that a happy one :)

2020 update : not disappointed in the slightest by the rewatch. the 3h are worth it :') and i was dumb idk it's clear she's not the missing daughter. The songs are so nice and the whole music thing was a major throwback. Loved it!

Votes: 1,050

9/10 I've never been as bitter and resentful about my non-existent love life in highschool as i was watching this. They fell in love on that line, in their own little world. I need a moment. PEAK ROMANCE Then there was the realistic expections of society downing on you against your best judgment, the struggles and the understanding that things take time. It take times to understand who you are and want you want, it takes time to find the strength to go after it and it takes courage to share your truth. It's a lovely story ok.

Update : watch the Director's Cut ! these few additional scenes are so worth it. + seeing Hassan being fully accepted in the family and sharing his culture was beautiful. Especially showing the joy it brought them all since the core of the story is Happiness and how you're supposed to find it in "normalcy", in conformism. It was necessary.

8/10

Japanese series are either pure crack or poetic gems and i love them for it. It was so peaceful and soothing... I felt the salted wind and uncertainty. It's in the little things, the attention to details and how everyone's feelings were given space. The girls were so well written as well, i hate to be but i'm always thankful for it. The whole cast was really convincing so i was emerged in it, truly. Wonderful <3

8/10 I was eating my cereals when i randomly realised this was missing from my list. How could i forget ?! The show was sadly cancelled way too soon when things were building up to smth really interesting :((( Nonetheless, the 2 seasons were amazingly well done and 100% worth watching even knowing you'll be left hanging. This isn't your typical zombie apocalypse show. It's about society's rejection of difference, about family, about accepting who you are, about pain and the crazy things it makes you do... i loved it okay.

8/10 So refreshing ! Middle-aged couples are so rare. And it's like... real daily struggles and stories. Simply loved it. Light-hearted and positive : that's pure comfort show material.

I was trying to bingewatch it during quarantine and had to stop at ep.5 though because i was about to pass out from hunger. I religiously followed all the recipes. I'll try them out and get back to you :)

8/10 Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Too short, too much to explore in this world! I'm not sure how i feel about the final reveal but that's just a moral dilemma unrelated to how beautiful their story was. (i just wish we had a kiss but it's ok that line about the stars was dynamite.)

S1 : I pretend it doesnt exist. Maybe i should rewatch...?

S2 : Right or Wrong > 6/10 Jesus age gap much ? i loved their little family. I'm so damn weak for gay families ;;___;; The daughter Yoyo was my favourite character.

S2 : Crossing The Line > 8/10 A completely different vibe and i suppose a different director. It was so cringeworthy i kept pausing it every 1à sec. But it was bad in a good way. I hated it at first but i felt warm and came to love it.. i wanted more afterwards. update : it's great ok i was in denial i rewatched the end idk how many times. it's my comfort series with Transit Girls.

S3 : Trap > 8/10 The story!!! Hohoho! More on the dramatic/tragic side of things compared to the others but oh so entertaining and fresh?? Give me all the mafia shit. And they get a happy ending. Que demande le peuple ?! (just.... just dont fucking point your gun at people like that.)

S3 : Make Our Days Count > LOL/10 Is honestly one of the best thing out there EVER if you pretend it stops before the last episode (that they happen to have written on idk.. homophobic crack ?) The worst part was that the acting was stellar. The emotions were so raw it made me physically ill. Really, watch it until Xi Gu needs to go buy salt accross the street. Then treat yourself to an ice cream and enjoy the rest of your day :)

9/10 i added it to imdb after watching the 1st ep bc i trusted them after 9 minutes to do this right and i'm glad i was right.

the cinematography is of high quality and even tho it feels too short at times, they managed to do a lot in 8 episodes :O

i felt so Bad after the 7th episode but the next week my heart was mended and overflowing with love <3 truly a lovely series that was

9/10 Trying to remember anything bad about it... but i can't? It's quite the contrary ! The plot is super interesting and it managed to thread the topic of the characters' sexuality into the story really nicely. It wasn't the focus at all but it wasn't brushed off either. I heard some ppl talk about some inconsistencies regarding the whole logic of the ghost/incense thing, but for once in my life i completly missed them ! It was touching, funny and surprisingly happy. Everything i'm asking for !

(I'm just sad we didnt get to know more about Mes' life in the cemetry and his ghost friends.. that absence was kinda odd.)

47. Mr. X and I (2015–2016)

8/10 Another show i had to add myself. The first season is really good ! They are short real life stories of chinese young men of different backgrounds. Two have ~happy~ endings, the two others do not. At first i was surprised by the total absence of stereotypes and the different profiles of gay men showed then i found out that blued (production company) is a chinese gay social network so.. good source !

The second season is different. It feels more like a drama as it only follows one boy. I loved that the characters from the first season appeared in this one, in this boy's life. I only watched the first episode of season 3 and that was.. weird.

7/10 Man this was so bittersweet. Watched it back to back with Eternal Summer. Didn't help. I loved the setting! It made me interested in Taiwan's history. Loved the note it finished on also. Heartbreakingly beautiful. Learning together to let go of the things that hurt after a loooong time. I wanna rewatch it.

7/10 Other people already wrote essays about it so i'll keep it short. Beautiful ! The plot sounds goofy but it's a delightfully deep and human tale. Of self discovery, inner strength, interpersonal relationships and how reductive is the perception that we have of ourselves and others. This show is like a hug. 30 somethings dont have their lives figured out at all and it's perfectly ok. We're all learning everyday together step by step. Lovely.

9/10 I : god 'i' did not deserve any of that shit and i think i got overly invested in her story. She frankly should've swung more. The directing was clever and the fun atmosphere made the climax that more brutal. I'm really attached to this one.

B : did not like it. A cheating/confusion plotline for the bisexual character really ? not what i would call groundbreaking. Plus it's the shortest of the 4 so it's like really? That's it?? It was nice that the bi girl was the tomboyish one though. Not something i think i've ever seen in thai media.

G : Stories. about. friendship. RULE!!!!!! I sort of forgot this was supposed to be 'i''s story so the rewatch made me even more emotional. It has everything, love, betrayal, comic, thrill, and PINK overtones! A great watch.

L : this came straight out of one of my daydreamed fantasies : the story, the setting, the cast.. they do be spying on us this can't be possibly real. THE PINK TINTS!! Thanaerng looking tall like that??? it's game over for me https://youtu.be/Nlwp9GT2KFQ this song is permanently stuck in my head.

10/10 I'm so impressed by everything they managed to fit in such a short format ? .....speechless. By the first ep i, everyone who watched it and their mother were already hooked and it never disappointed till the end. Even the supporting characters got to shine and chosing friendships instead of cliché petty drama ? chef kiss The acting was flawless ! I hope it's only the begining for them.

(Really funny to me that Fantagio labelled that as bromance but i guess falling in love with your bro fits the definition.)

54. Theory of Love (2019–2020)

Votes: 5,202

8/10 You know what ? Khai crushed my balls a bit more and more every episode and here i find myself, a few weeks later, missing them like crazy..... maybe they did some things right ? It was well written enough that i ended up rooting for that asshole at the end. Just watch one ep and you'll understand. That's a job well done. I must applaud.

I love how not only the story line but the whole promotion of the show was tied to the theme of them being film majors. The references were really well used and incorporated, it didnt feel artificial. And for all he tried to reproduce famous movies' confession scenes, they managed to create a memorable one of their own. Love it. I'll remember it :')

The opening is also nice. It felt different from the get-go. More movie-like, for a broader audience i'd say.

I must say Gun is an incredible actor and im still stunned by his performance. His character gets heartbroken again and again and he delivers e.v.e.r.y.t.i.m.e. Every single tear he shed i shed too. But it's not just the tears, he walks you through every possible emotion like you're taking baby classes it's ! ! ! ! ! ! And Off went off too. The train station scene ;__; poetic cinema.

Also the friendship. We love friendship.

Never got to finish it but i can tell you this : it's the shit. Hmmmmm!! that sweet sweet hetero-baiting.. wow.. there's nothing like it!

The serie in itself felt kinda repetitive at times and underdeveloped character wise (like it lacked variety in pov in my opinion). But ! it was good ! At first i resented the absence of girls (and till the end i still wanted more) but the ones we've got were AMAZING(ly written and played). So congrats :)

7/10 Wow. really wow i didn't expected to get so much from such a silly show. I usually don't get japanese humour but i laughed A LOT this time around. And all the characters found a place in my heart, even the ones i didn't expect to. All the women were amazingly written and i fell in love with every one of them. Such different kinds of love and wholesome friendships were portrayed in between each gag, i'm still a bit speechless tbh. I would recommend it if only for Choko, the Chief's wife. Never did i ever fall for a middle aged woman this hard. (Ok yes i did but that's not the point.) She's a whirlwind of a woman, is forced to reevaluate her life in her mid 50s and comes out of it ON TOP. Even then her struggles are not downplayed and she's never the caricature of a "strong woman". She's just.... so good ok. <3

Ok small criticism : despite the fact that we are privy to the protagonist's thoughts and inner struggles, his sexuality is never mentioned properly. It gets to the point where even when he's getting married, you're not exactly sure if it's a "how did i get myself into this" gag or not. When he admitted to being in love i was like "hang on bro... you've been into men this whole time ? wait when did you realize ? should i watch again from the beginning ??"

7/10 I didnt expect to like it and i cringed during the whoooole thing. Yet i had a really pleasant time ! No internalized homophobia, no "i shouldn't feel like this about a boy". I cry. I was shocked. And the characters were not walking stereotypes. Like they were 2 cool dudes. No "bad boy", no petit boy. Just 2 popular dudes that are worshipped from afar but not appreciated for who they are. This cliché, i can get behind. Nice nice. Hopeful ending since you have to watch Pt.2. The actors were credible and the setting/camera work were on point. Am i supposed to consider the ending happy ? I really don't know what that was. I sincerely am confused.

And i didnt even understand the whole thing at first watch. I vaguely watched it a 2nd time when i added it to this site and that's when i pieced everything together. (Again i hadn't read the synopsis.)

Conclusion : it was tragic and well executed but a bit too short.

7/10 A drama about school life and thematics teenagers encounter at this period. It's rather well done. I like the 2nd season better. Some touchy topics are addressed so kudos for that ! I liked how each character had their own arc with a specific "issue", and i liked how diverse the types of families were. Like i said different topics are tackled, so is sexuality. SO there are a few not-straight characters (5 i think?). There.

78. Fathers (I) (2016)

Director: Palatpol Mingpornpichit | Stars: Arituch Pipattangkul, Sinjai Plengpanich, Nat Sakdatorn, Utt

7/10 :( why... It was hard to watch this family being torn apart by...this nonsense ? I mean it's nonsense to me but i guess the doubts and distress expressed here are the reality of some people and valid as such. But nothing hurts me more than gay people fearing their child will become "like them" ? Like they're being selfish for having a child ?? what ?? no ! Terrible. That's the kind of self-loathing i hate society for. Bref. Happy ending.

7/10 Hmm j'ai mal au ventre :( The end isn't happy but it does end well. Still.. i'm not feeling good after watching this. I feel like something's missing. (Oscar and) I need closure. Important #violence_tw. Beautiful cinematography and really good soundtrack.

Stars: Julianne Nicholson, Tyler Young, James Paxton, Gil Bellows

Votes: 5,798

7/10 Hmmm i guess it was good.. I mean it was bc you quickly get attached to the characters (especially the foster dad) and the relationships feel real, realistic. But i'm bitter bc Philip deserved better and half the *beep* he got served no purpose. The investigation sorta drove me mad but i survived. The boys got a happy ending :)

Votes: 1,767

7/10 The bad was hhhhh but the good was GREAT. Main couple : Jealousy and misunderstanding is NEVER a viable basis for a plot like you cant make a whole series revolving around that it almost drove me crazy. Secondary : Sun and Mork had the best storyline and character development, it was delighful to witness. Both actors' chemistry shone on screen. They really brought something to the table. Their personal stories could've been even more developped.

Votes: 9,613

7/10 Hmmm i think you gotta fasten your seatbelt if you havent read the book. So much going on. And i'm sad about the fact that cool necromancy was replaced by actual demonic cultivation but they gave Lan Wangji feelings and a personality so who am i to complain ??

They're neat. They have a son. That's it what more do you need.

(if you love alive women this show isn't for you though. Mian Mian survivor queen rpz ! <33)

6/10 God i just rewatched pieces to make sure i dont mix it up with GF BF and.... it's so depressing. The purple sky is beautiful and the music of the last scene will start haunting me again. The everlasting melancholic tone. Like... Shane's last lines..................... The loneliness is real. Everybody hurts in this movie. And my sweet Carrie who just endured it all... uhh sad I liked it though. I did.

7/10 First thing first : trigger warning for double suicide in the first scene and it comes back throughout the series. Now with that said : Wow. How great. It DID drag on for ever, took me a year to finish it. I must have cried a dozen liters and dehydrated myself in the process but it was still enjoyable.

In & Korn invented love. Their scenes have the most beautiful yet heart-wrenching soundtrack. They may have forgiven their families but i haven't. The last scene where they visit Pharm in dream to thank him fiouuu haha :)

Really looking forward to Win & Team's story as there seems to have a number of heavy themes lying under the surface as well !

Happy Ending :)

6/10 Couldn't relate, the characters weren't well fleshed out so that tasted kinda bland and his straight friends were dicks :/ i really wanted to enjoy it. It was an ok watch. I wish we could get the same from Bram's pov one day.

Stars: Hyung Hoon Won, Choo Young-woo, Gun-rak Park, Lee Soo-ryun

Votes: 1,331

6/10 They said we will take a trope so unrealistic it sounds like pure fanfiction but who cares bc this is actually about lonely people finding company, about getting a new shot at finding who you are and redefining yourself for the better and no you did not deserve to be abandoned and you're allowed to cry and grieve and resent but you're mostly allowed happiness above it all. Yes they said all that. They also said hard boiled eggs is the most underrated emotional vector, didn't you know ? in case that's more your alley.

(ok it mostly suffers from a hastily wrapped up storyline bc they refuse to do simple even with such a limited running time but like i said the point isn't the story at all.)

7/10 :/ sad

6/10 We really thought they were going somewhere else with this. Quite the letdown. I will not pretend like Am and Cris' relationship is anything short of groundbreaking but i wish they were treated like the other characters, had more background and individual screentime. Definitely better than s1, and by a clear margine. I hope you like Drama.

96. Hidamari ga kikoeru (2017)

Director: Daisuke Kamijô | Stars: Reiko Takashima, Hiroe Igeta, Rima Matsuda, Norihisa Hiranuma

Votes: 406

7/10 It's funny how Taichi tells the girl off for romanticizing his disability but there's this weird plot element that he's the only person Kohei can hear clearly. Except for that bs it was nice if a little too short. I really wanted to know more about Kohei's life and the way things would go in the future.

97. Schoolgirl Complex (2013)

Votes: 282

6/10 Why can't we have nice things...? I'm like...side-eyeing the whole universe rn..

Who tf made me believe it had a happy ending ? We need to talk about happiness and what i expect a happy ending to be for a lesbian movie. Bc that, my friend, left me bitter for a while.

The actresses are all like my dream girls so there's that at least.. They were convincing and are not at all to blame for the disappointment.

98. Sotus the Series (2016–2018)

6/10 Nice. By thai BL standards. I just love Singto tbh. No evil girlfriend ! Can you believe it ? No rape-y sex scene ! Actually no sex scene at all whooo the bar is so low haha (and that's actually bc Krust was uncomfy lmao gotta love the beauty of homophobes playing gays)

99. My Bromance (2014)

5/10

What...... tf did i just watch ? I didnt count how many times i said 'what' aloud watching this but the ending ? had me stunned. I was just sitting there bawling and laughing in disbelief, repeating What.... That was something.

My first impression was to be greatly surprised by the high quality of the production. It was visually very pleasing! (There's this one shot behind a window that had me pikachu face but that's the architect in me speaking.) The cast of teenagers was Great and credible. Even the score was good ! But....... what's up with the editing ? Why would you jump from one scene to the other with minus one transition and concistency like this ? Why where they in such a rush ?? That would be comprehensible coming from a short movie but this was so inorganic without any reason..? ok I almost dropped it 30min in but im sort of glad i didnt. I think it was the standing up to the parents part that did it for me. #ParricideShouldBeLegal :)

[TW : major character death] sad ending lol

100. 2Moons2 (2019– )

Romance

Wayo is accepted at the Kantaphat University, in the Faculty of Sciences; in the same institution he studies, Phana, a second-year boy he has always been in love with, though he never managed to talk to him.

Stars: Naret Promphaopun, Archen Aydin, Kornchid Boonsathitpakdee, Benjamin Brasier

Votes: 515

6/10 I...... dont remember anything bad bad about it ? It's the same plot with a recast of 2Moons and maybe better character development. Everyone is some shade of gay which.... make of it what you will.(Except for girls ofc, lesbians havent been invented yet shhhh no spoiler)

Update: i have the worst memory ever and my sister reminded me of it. there ARE problems. hooking up with an inebriated guy you fancy anyone ?
