As the clock inched toward midnight at the Vanity Fair Oscars party (and on the eight-month long “Barbie” press tour), Greta Gerwig gleefully danced the night away.
With an In-n-Out burger in one hand and a cocktail in the other, Gerwig grooved to Dua Lipa’s hit “Dance the Night” with another one of her Barbies, Hari Nef, who sported a pink feathered Balenciaga jacket with a sizable train.
For this last hurrah, Gerwig swapped the pink boiler suit she famously wore while directing the $1.4 billion blockbuster (and the stunning Gucci gown she wore at the ceremony) for a black open tuxedo jacket, skipping a shirt in favor of draping Boucheron diamonds on her neck and chest.
Shortly after the “Barbie” song ended, the director was ready to take a load off, making her way to an open seat on the outdoor courtyard, because it had been a long day...

Seconds after Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson entered the holding room where presenters and performers at Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy gala were to take this picture, someone became starstruck — but who that was might surprise you.
“It’s Jelly Roll!” Wilson shouted excitedly as she saw the Grammy-nominated singer-rapper. But the feeling was mutual, as Jelly Roll later murmured, if only to himself, about the surrealness of the moment. He was standing in proximity to Hanks and Wilson as Dionne Warwick sat nearby and members of Green Day were hanging out while everyone waited for one of music’s greatest architects — Davis himself — to arrive.
The interaction was just one of several “pinch-me” moments as the likes of The Isley Brothers, Maluma, Josh Groban, Lainey Wilson and many more came together to take a snapshot with Davis and commemorate the night of amazing music that was to come at the legendary party,...

Flavor Flav is in his Swiftie era. The rapper has formed a surprising yet wholesome bond with Taylor Swift, cheering her on through one of her busiest years to date. Their budding friendship seems to date back to March, when Flav attended the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards proudly wearing a shirt that read, "I come back stronger than a '90s trend," in reference to Swift's "Willow" lyrics. When asked about his outfit choice on the red carpet, he told Billboard, "Love me some Taylor Swift, man, always did." The pair wound up crossing paths later that evening and captured the selfie seen 'round the world. They've been charming the internet ever since.
Flav has consistently shown support for Swift following their first in-person meetup. He spent a not-so-cruel summer attending two of her Eras Tour concerts - and yes, he dressed up in on-theme outfits and traded friendship bracelets with fellow Swifties.

As far as televised national anthems are concerned, we’ve certainly seen a wide range of performances over the past few decades, haven’t we? From Whitney Houston’s triumphant rendition at the 1991 Super Bowl to Roseanne Barr’s bastardization of the gift of sound at a 1990 Padres game, it’s easy to feel like we’ve heard it all at this point.
But every once in a while, if we’re lucky, a performance comes along that catches us by surprise, sweeps us off our feet and and restores our sense of wonder — a rendition so bold, so unexpected,...

We won't tolerate any Flavor Flav slander in this house. The rapper and Eras Tour supporter is receiving backlash for his national anthem performance at the Atlanta Hawks vs. Milwaukee Bucks game on Oct. 29, but it wasn't nearly as bad as the internet's making it out to be.
Wearing a green Bucks jersey and one of his signature clock necklaces, he took center court at the the Fiserv Forum to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner." Though he got off to a bit of a rocky start, fumbling the first few words, he quickly recovered and belted out the lyrics with passion, snapping his fingers to stay on tempo. The Grammy nominee even added some flair to the final verse, repeating "of the brave" several times for emphasis.
Following the game, many viewers were quick to bash Flavor Flav's rendition, comparing it to Fergie's infamous national anthem performance at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.

The Milwaukee Bucks tapped Flavor Flav to perform the national anthem ahead of the team’s home game against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday. During his performance, the Public Enemy cofounder appeared center court, took a deep breath, and delivered the a cappella song — which by many people’s standards is not the easiest to sing.
His gloriously unique rendition — complete with his drawn-out dramatic notes, which were met by fans cheering him on — will certainly remain memorable. He also came correct with the lyrics, which has been an area...

Flavor Flav performed the national anthem at Sunday’s NBA game between the Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks.
The Public Enemy rapper may not seem like an obvious candidate to sing the “Star-Spangled Banner.” However, in a social media post following his performance, he revealed that the “anthem was a long time bucket list item.”
He also addressed critics of his rendition, writing: “I can’t live my life worried about what people might say about me. I won’t let that stop me from trying new things and doing things I wanna do. Some people might not like that. But a sure failure is if you stop trying.”

Updated: Taylor Swift arrived tonight in the Fairfax district of Los Angeles for the premiere of her Eras Tour concert film premiere at The Grove, generating more noise and glitz than an Oscar Best Song performance atop the Academy Museum. Heck, the fountain at the outdoor luxe Rick Caruso-owned mall was spouting pink water.
And while Swift’s appearance caused The Grove to close down for the day, in addition to streets, the premiere in the 600 square foot space wasn’t a chaotic affair, rather quite organized. Swift appeared very early in the evening and was greeted by a crowd of screaming fans before ducking inside.

It looked like a typical U2 outdoor concert: Two helicopters zoomed through the starlit sky before producing spotlights over a Las Vegas desert and frontman Bono, who kneeled to the ground while singing the band’s 2004 hit “Vertigo”.
This scene may seem customary, but the visuals were created by floor-to-ceiling graphics inside the immersive Sphere. It was one of the several impressive moments during U2’s “Uv Achtung Baby” residency launch show at the high-tech, globe-shaped venue, which opened for the first time Friday night.
The legendary rock band, which has won 22 Grammys, performed for two hours inside the massive, state-of-the-art spherical venue with crystal-clear audio. Throughout the night, there were a plethora of attractive visuals — including kaleidoscope images, a burning flag and Las Vegas’ skyline, taking the more than 18,000 attendees on U2’s epic musical journey.
