Bitconned, the Netflix feature doc about a group of prolific modern-day con artists, is being turned into a podcast series.
Glass Entertainment, the company behind the doc, which launched on the streamer in January, is adapting it as Creating a Con: The Story Behind Bitconned.
Produced by Glass Podcasts and iHeartPodcasts, the podcast is both an adaptation and extension of the film that offers a deeper dive into how the scamming co-founder of Centra Tech Ray Trapani exploited the cryptocurrency market.
The series launches on April 3.
In season one, listeners meet Ray Trapani – a 26-year-old whose schemes targeted pharmacies and a payment app before he created his biggest con yet: a tech startup endorsed by DJ Khaled and Floyd Mayweather that was built on empty promises, fake executives, and millions of dollars from unsuspecting investors.
The nine-part series is hosted by Trapani’s best friend Jonny B Good.

Are you ready to reveal your inner criminal mastermind?
Oxygen True Crime has got you covered.
Today, the network announced that Mastermind of Murder is returning, and we cannot wait.
And what a fantastic logline they've got for its return -- The most vicious criminals aren't always pulling the trigger, they're pulling the strings.
In this must-watch hourlong episodic series, the crime is never simply solved after investigators uncover a killer. Instead, these murder mysteries provide two reveals: who pulled the trigger and who was the mastermind behind it all.
Every episode investigates a murder of an unsuspecting and beloved victim, with initial clues leading police to believe the person who committed the crime also devised the plot. However, when law enforcement furthers its investigation, everything's not as it seems.
The person who committed the brutal crime isn't the one who carefully and deliberately orchestrated the hit, but is a pawn in someone else's plotting.

Lincoln: Divided We Stand is a six-part docuseries, narrated by This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown, that takes a look at the story of the 16th President of the United States.
The hope, according to exec producer Nancy Glass, who runs Glass Entertainment, that it is a deep dive into the history of the man who led the United States through the Civil War.

Animal Planet has ended the 15-year run of Tanked, but claims the ending came naturally and is not related to a recent domestic disturbance involving a host.
“After 15 fantastic seasons, the series came to a natural end late last year,” confirmed Paul Schur, the VP communications/media relations at Animal Planet.
The team from Las Vegas’s Acrylic Tank Manufacturing was the focus of the show, which spotlighted exotic, unusual, colorful and dangerous fish in captivity via elaborate aquariums.
Wayde King and Brett Raymer were the co-hosts, tasked with building the enormous tanks and aquariums for top celebrities, luxury hotels and casinos, and other outlets. Atm builds more than 200 projects each year, according to its website, with tanks ranging from 50 to one million gallons in size.
King and wife Heather were involved in a domestic violence dispute earlier this month, with Heather arrested. She has since filed for divorce.
