TV presenter and award-winning journalist, Richard Hammond and his daughter, Izzy Hammond, will co-host the brand new Global Original and Piffle podcast: Who We Are Now, available to listen to from Tuesday 27th February 2024.
In 2006, Richard Hammond broke his brain. A high-speed jet-powered car he was piloting crashed at 319mph and the thing that stopped the car from rolling? That was his head. Richard spent a few weeks in hospital, having his brain put back together. This life-changing experience gave Richard time to have a long, hard look at his emotional state and mental health. Since then, he's been on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth, leading him to present his first-ever podcast series, Who We Are Now. Listeners will have the opportunity to join Richard on his mission to demystify and destigmatise conversations around masculinity, mental health, and the issues that affect us all to discover Who We Are Now.

Prime Video UK is yet to decide on the future of doc series Clarkson’s Farm following the furor over Jeremy Clarkson’s incendiary column about Meghan Markle earlier this year.
There has been much speculation Amazon’s streaming service will not renew the popular show after the backlash against Clarkson’s column, which became UK press regulator Ipso’s most complained about article of all time, but execs today have said a decision hasn’t yet been made.
In the piece, Clarkson wrote Markle should be “made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds throw lumps of excrement at her.”
Quizzed about the future of the Expectation-produced show during a Prime Video commissioner session today at the Edinburgh TV Festival, Head of UK Unscripted Fozia Khan said Prime Video had been “shocked and disappointed” by the column.

Jeremy Clarkson has said he is “profoundly sorry” for a column he wrote for The Sun, in which he made a number of disparaging remarks about Meghan Markle.
Posting to Instagram on Monday 16 January, the TV presenter said he had written to the Duchess of Sussex to apologise, and shared a lengthy statement with his followers.
Here is the statement in full:
“One of the strange things I’ve noticed in recent times is that whenever an MP or a well-known person is asked to apologise for something, no matter how heartfelt or profound that apology may be, it’s never enough for the people who called for it in the first place.
“So I’m going to try and buck the trend this morning with an apology for the things I said in a Sun column recently about Meghan Markle. I really am sorry. All the way from the...

The revived Crystal Maze is a winner, as its second Stand Up To Cancer celebrity special proves…
“I love The Crystal Maze!” said Joey Essex, once he’d worked out what one was and that he was in it. “Haven’t we revitalised the format?!” agreed Richard Ayoade enthusiastically, sadly putting Joey right back in the lap of confusion.

Ayoade and Essex, two very different kinds of men. Watching them try to converse can’t be unlike watching an owl try to mate with a suitcase. Having seen it now though, I just want more. Quick, someone commission a show in which the pair of them team up to fight crime or catch cowboy roofers or conduct a public vote for the nation’s best Center Parcs. Whatever it is, I know I wouldn’t be able to look away.

Chris Evans has denied reports that Zoe Ball has screen tested for the new series of Top Gear.
The Sunday Mirror claimed that the Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two presenter impressed producers during a try-out opposite the new host, and was now seen as a frontrunner for the job.
However, Evans wrote on Twitter: "Hilariously inaccurate story in 2days paper. Re my good friend Zoe Ball excelling in Top Gear screen test. She hasn't even been for one."
Ball and Evans have known each other for a long time, having both separately appeared on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast and with Ball acting as Evans's relief presenter on his Radio 2 breakfast show.
Evans initially said that he would "definitely 100%" have a female co-host, after it was announced that he would take over the show following the departure of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

Rochelle Humes has been making a name for herself as a TV presenter in recent times, and now her bandmate Mollie King has suggested a surprising TV role.
"I think I should be one of the next Top Gear presenters," she told Notion magazine. "Think about it, it's perfect. Nobody would see it coming.
"Women are obviously better drivers than men, for a start; so I'd be bringing skill, but I think that show needs a bit of girl power."
We think she's joking. Having said that, new host Chris Evans has mentioned on several occasions that he expects to hire at least one female presenter as part of his rebooted Top Gear lineup, but Mollie's probably not high up on the list.
Suzi Perry, Dermot O'Leary and Formula 1 star Jenson Button are among the names being bandied about as potential Top Gear co-hosts, while Jodie Kidd has taken her name off the list.

The BBC wanted to sign new Top Gear host Chris Evans to an exclusive deal - but Channel 4 got there first.
The presenter was hired to host a full series of his Channel 4 series Tfi Friday before the BBC could nail him down, reports The Guardian.
Danny Cohen - the BBC's director of television - admitted that he was "surprised" when Evans agreed to work with Channel 4 again.
But he added: "[Chris has] made a commitment - but after he's finished he will be solely focused on Top Gear from the New Year."
Tfi Friday will return to Channel 4 with 10 new episodes this autumn, with Evans - and a team of co-presenters - working on the new Top Gear from 2016.
Evans previously quit his hosting gig on The One Show to ensure he had enough time to dedicate to the revamped motoring show.

Jodie Kidd is not hosting the new look Top Gear on the BBC alongside Chris Evans, despite "conversations" being held about a role.
The Classic Car Show presenter has revealed she passed on Top Gear (via The Telegraph) because it would be "all-consuming".
Kidd said: "If I were to accept Top Gear it would be completely all-consuming. I love doing all the different things I am doing in my life at the moment.
"Top Gear is the most brilliant show on this planet but it would just take over your soul. That would be it. Through ups and downs and lefts and rights I have got to an amazing place where everything is finally balanced, and balanced for my family too."
The 36-year-old said she made the decision "very recently".
"Everyone every day has been asking me, am I doing it? Am I doing it? I am not, okay," she explained.

"So unless someone has invented 48 hours in a day - which maybe [looking at Phillip Schofield] you have actually! You know, it would be pretty tough I think for me to do it."

The BBC is apparently considering the Have I Got News for You model of different hosts each episode for Top Gear.
Richard Hammond and James May are thought to have been offered new £1 million deals to stay on the show after Jeremy Clarkson's departure earlier this year, according to the Independent.
If the deal were to go ahead, then May and Hammond would be joined by various guest hosts filling in for Clarkson in the next series of Top Gear.
Hammond and May had previously hinted that they were not returning to the show without Clarkson, whose contract was not renewed after he fought a producer.
The trio reunited for the opening night of their Clarkson, Hammond and May Live tour in Belfast last week.
Clarkson told the audience: "We've had a lot of interest in our TV show from all around the world. Who knows what will happen.

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have reunited for a brand new YouTube channel.
The former Top Gear trio are currently teasing their upcoming Clarkson, Hammond & May Live tour using the hashtag #BackOnTheRoad.
Top Gear fans can get their first glimpse of what a new show with the trio may look like, complete with YouTube-friendly swear words.
In their first video, Clarkson opens with a very subtle reference to his sacking from the BBC for a scuffle with a producer, while Hammond and May reckon that their new name "will never catch on".
They then get back to their usual japes by loading a van full of multi-coloured vehicles, smashing Captain Slow's piano and being too heavy for a Reliant Robin.
The tour was originally going to be called Top Gear Live, but the stars have been forced to remove all of the BBC's branding.

Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond have apparently got closer to signing a deal with ITV.
The former Top Gear trio and executive producer Andy Wilman met with ITV's programme chief Peter Fincham on Wednesday night (May 6), according to The Guardian.
After Clarkson's Top Gear contract was not renewed due to his assault on a producer, May and Hammond have declined to sign new BBC deals. Since then, ITV has been named as the most likely UK channel to pick up the trio.
The meeting took place at Fincham's London home, with ITV's director of entertainment and comedy Elaine Bedell also attending.
However, ITV has remained coy in regards to the reports. A spokesman said: "We haven't commented and aren't planning to comment on the continual Top Gear speculation which is swirling around the television industry."

Ofcom has confirmed that it is investigating Top Gear over the use of the word "pikey".
On the show broadcast on February 2, 2014 on BBC Two, the phrase 'Pikey's Peak' was pictured on a placard, considered by the complainant to be a "gratuitous use of derogatory and racist language".
The BBC Trust previously cleared the programme, concluding that context was key and that it did not believe "pikey" had been used as a term of racist or ethnic abuse in the programme.
It added that "pikey" has "evolved into common parlance among a number of people" to mean 'chavvy' or 'cheap'.
"The word, in this instance, was used in a context that had no association with the Gypsy and Traveller communities."
The latest Ofcom Broadcast Bulletin published today has confirmed that the complaint is under investigation.

Paul Hollywood has criticised the BBC's handling of Jeremy Clarkson after he was dismissed from Top Gear in March, saying that "a line has been crossed".
The TV baker revealed that he was "upset" about the controversy surrounding Top Gear, saying that the BBC should have dealt with Clarkson "quietly".
Talking about Clarkson's high-profile exit from the programme, Hollywood said: "I'm a car nut and Top Gear was a favourite, I'm really upset about it.
"It was handled wrongly. It could have been dealt with quietly - whether Jeremy left in the end is almost immaterial," he told the Radio Times.
Asked who he would like to see replace Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond as presenters on the show, Hollywood said: "You can't replace those three guys. Change it, don't mimic it.
"Maybe get (racing driver and former Top Gear presenter) Tiff Needell, or the old Stig Ben Collins back.

If rumours are to be believed, Jodie Kidd, Philip Glenister and Guy Martin could be the next presenters of Top Gear.

There is still hope for Top Gear fans, as James May and Richard Hammond have been spotted together at the BBC's London offices.
The presenting duo arrived at the building earlier today (April 29), and also found time to pose for photos with fans.
However, their former Top Gear colleague Jeremy Clarkson was nowhere to be seen.
The meeting took place a week after Hammond told fans that he does not plan to "quit" his mates, while May has said that presenting the show without Clarkson would be "lame".
Speculation over Top Gear's future continues after Clarkson's contract was not renewed due to a scuffle with producer Oisin Tymon earlier this year.

It was only a matter of time before this was going to happen. Top Gear fans had no doubt expected that the day would come when Clarkson's actions could spell the end of the show altogether.
With Clarkson now heading out the door, this raises the question of what happens next for Top Gear. For less-popular shows it would probably just be quietly shut down, but it's simply too much of a phenomenon around the world that the BBC can't afford to lose. Not without trying at least.
As a long-time Top Gear fan, it's always been a tricky battle for me to separate my love for Clarkson as a presenter and any opinions I may have for Clarkson as an individual. Hervey - who was eliminated from the competition last night - was described as "nasty" by Kidd for her behaviour during the events on the Channel 4 show.

When pushed further, she added: "Do you know what, I don't even want to talk about it. It's a waste of time. Another question?"
However, Hervey went on to say that Kidd was "battling her own demons right now" and questioned her version of events when she revealed that she knew Kidd had tried to trip her over in the snow cross.
"I saw this octopus arm coming out and I was like, 'Oh my God!'" she said. "I just managed to get around her.

Lady Victoria Hervey has left The Jump in a nail-biting 'jump-off'.
It took Mike Tindall making the final jump to secure a place in the next episode and knock out the socialite.
Lady Victoria had only made 13.5m during her attempt and was beaten by Tindall's 17m.
Before Tindall's jump, Chloe Madeley scored 14.5m - meaning the jump-off went to the final possible stage.
Lady Victoria is the latest celeb to leave the show, following Louie Spence, Jodie Kidd, Phil Tufnell, Dom Parker, Heather Mills and Ashley Roberts.
She had battled with her fellow contestants, particularly Jodie Kidd who admitted that she was shocked by how "nasty" Lady Victoria was to her.

The reality star failed to make it through to the next challenge after competing in a live jump-off.

Stacey Solomon has revealed a few romantic secrets on The Jump.
The reality star opened up while playing Snog, Marry, Avoid on the show, revealing that given a choice, she'd snog Steve-o.
Solomon told Made In Chelsea's Louise Thompson and Chloe Madeley that out of the boys in the competition, she'd marry Jon-Allan Butterworth and avoid Mike Tindall because he's married.
She then said that she'd snog Jackass star Steve-o, "because he'd probably snog me".
Louie Spence and Jodie Kidd were eliminated from The Jump last night (February 4).
Kidd has since admitted that she was shocked by how "nasty" Lady Victoria Hervey was to her on the show.

The Jump star Jodie Kidd has admitted that she was shocked by how "nasty" Lady Victoria Hervey was to her.
The pair had a fierce rivalry throughout the competition until Kidd was eliminated after a snow cross event last night.
Asked today if she was gutted to be out before Hervey, Kidd replied: "Yeah. I wouldn't have minded at all but suddenly watching that Vt of actually how nasty she was, I was a bit put back. I was a bit like, 'Cor!'"
She continued: "I picked up on [her competitiveness during] the skeleton but I just thought she was a bit nervous and didn't want me around. And I didn't realise that she goes through the whole run and then the first thing to say when she took her helmet off was to be annoyed about me!
"The first thing we all said when we took our helmets off was, 'Bloody hell,...
