Kate Upton and Justin Verlander have a very special newlywed workout.
On Thursday, celebrity trainer Ben Bruno shared a video of the newly married couple’s training session, which consisted of Upton pushing her husband up a hill while they teased each other.
In the video, as the model pushed a sled on which her husband — who’s wearing everyday clothes — was riding on, he turned to the camera and jokingly said, “That’s my wife pushing me around, as always.”
But that wasn’t the way Upton saw it. “Just the ball and chain weighing me down,” she cheekily replied.

Days after her split from The Weeknd, Selena Gomez was spotted Wednesday morning on a leisurely bike ride with her ex, Justin Bieber.
The former flames, who dated on-and-off from 2011 to 2015, were all smiles as they peddled around Los Angeles—he in a sporty red skater hoodie, she in a classic grey sweater.
The ride marks the third time that Gomez and Bieber have been seen together since her breakup with the R&B star born Abel Tesfaye was revealed on Monday, but sources tell People that their rekindled friendship was not responsible for the split.

We all know, of course, that she is using him and trying to make Maggie miserable. It turns out that he's going to be very startled at some point as NBC's description tells us that he will receive some very shocking news! What could this shocking news be? That's the huge question for this particular storyline. It definitely sounds like it's going to give us some pretty dramatic scenes to look forward to. Days of Our Lives fans are going to see Lucas lose his mind when he finds Justin comforting Adrienne this week. She’s having a very rough time right now, and no one can blame her for being upset about all that’s happening, but she’s not taking her comfort from the man she needs to take it from. We all know that these three have a serious issue with their love triangle, and we can’t figure out what Lucas thinks is going to happen right now, but he doesn’t like it. He’s going to cause a serious scene, and we think

Yeah, that’s right. Justin Bieber is now singing in Spanish. The “Sorry” singer teamed up with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee in the newest remix to their hit song “Despacito.”
Bieber starts off the track singing lyrics in English then joins the two Latin superstars for the chorus, where he sings in Spanish for the first time—which has shocked fans around the world. Fonsi also switches gears and sings his verse in English.
Days before dropping the song, the 23-year-old was hinting at new music by posting black and white pictures in a recording studio.

Steve told Tripp that he’d killed his mother, Chad got his revenge against Deimos, and Adrienne finally made her choice this week in Salem.
Our TV Fanatics Jack Ori and Christine Orlando are joined by Fossie and Tinab from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to debate if Adrienne made the right choice, if Brady is being ridiculous, and who is the most sympathetic person on Days of Our Lives.
Is Brady being ridiculous for expecting an instant family with Nicole?
Jack: I think Brady is being completely ridiculous. He's not even considering Nicole's opinion or feelings. He's decided this is what he wants, and therefore, she needs to go along with it.
It would be nice if they talked about it and decided together, like adults, but that's asking too much of Brady, I guess.
Christine: I can’t agree with Jack enough. Brady is annoyingly ridiculous.

Some of the greatest soap drama comes from tragic heroes.
These characters have been so damaged by painful life experiences that they feel worthless and get in their own way, sometimes with tragic consequences.
That kind of drama is what drew me to Jj and to Nicole, two characters who have since been completely rewritten to lose both their zest for life and their heartbreaking self-esteem problems.
It also made Jack and Jennifer's relationship interesting back in the day, because the conflict primarily came from Jack's overwhelming sense of guilt and fear.
And it could make Eric an interesting character now, if only Days of Our Lives would put an original spin on it and not just try to copy what Jack and Jennifer had.
Eric certainly has reason to feel guilty. He has to live with the fact that he got drunk and killed his best friend in a car accident about 18 months ago,...

I like a good kidnapping story as much as the next person.
High-stakes stories where someone disappears and loved ones panic, emote, and get into danger themselves to free the person who means most to them make great drama.
But when there are so many kidnappings that viewers have to wonder why the federal government hasn't started warning tourists not to visit the area, this plot device is overdone, and Days of Our Lives reached that point a while ago.
In the past month, Chad and Gabi have been kidnapped, along with Sonny, in order to fuel the Kiriakis/Hernandez/Dimera war story. Now Deimos kidnapped Chad, Gabi, and Abigail to get revenge for the latest move Chad made against his business.
In between, Nicole kidnapped baby Holly and there's probably another abduction or two that's slipped my mind.
Enough is enough!
This latest kidnapping was utterly silly, too. Abigail...

SXSW: HBO considering spin-off to fantasy smash; musician Ed Sheeran to make appearance in Season 7.
Days after the announcement that Season 7 of Games Of Thrones will premiere on July 16, showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss joined cast members Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner in an entertaining Q&A exchange on Sunday at SXSW.
Programmer Austin Nauert introduced the panel, expressing concern the highly anticipated event “might just break us.”
Despite the chaos within the crowded halls of Austin’s Convention Centre, where former Us vice-president Joe Biden was simultaneously speaking, the event went without any glitches, with key announcements including confirmation that Season 8 would comprise six episodes and that HBO was considering a spin-off show.
“We’ve talked about this, that we should all go on and do different things,” co-creator Benioff said. “I think HBO may well do a spin-off, but I think they should get new blood in.”

Family has always been the backbone of Days of Our Lives.
No matter what crazy things were going on, the Hortons and the Bradys stuck together. Weddings and funerals were important, emotional centerpieces because they were a time for family members to celebrate or mourn together.
But when Julie's son David died, the funeral paid only lip service to either him or his family, instead serving as a backdrop for all sorts of other things that the writers apparently thought were more important than mourning David.
First, there was the pre-funeral nonsense.
Claire and Ciara fought over the fact that Claire wasn't dressed yet, but the real problem between them is they both love their roommate Theo.
Love triangles in which two women are so invested in the same man that they forget why they were even friends are incredibly cliche, uninteresting, and obnoxious.
Days has not one, but two such triangles,...

Salem weddings used to be lavish affairs.
After months or years of serious problems that were conquered by true love, a couple would throw together a romantic wedding in a ridiculously short period of time.
Weddings were the ultimate romantic fantasy and viewers were excited about them even though they knew that there was no happily ever after because the characters would have new problems to deal with and obstacles to overcome, maybe even at the wedding itself.
Times have changed and budgets become smaller, but instead of the fairy tale wedding, Days of Our Lives offered a blink-and-you-miss-it wedding for Steve and Kayla in which they seemed more like guests in someone else's story.
Steve and Kayla's wedding was mostly a backdrop for the story of Hope's return from Eric's cabin.
Before the wedding even started, Shane, Steve and Rafe were celebrating Hope's freedom.

Under Executive director Roger Durling, the Santa Barbara International Film Festival has flourished by riding the awards season wave via starry onstage interviews with Oscar contenders.
Every year, screenwriters, directors and producers promote their causes on panels, and the likes of Jeff Bridges (a local), Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, Denzel Washington, and Casey Affleck and Michelle Williams submit to in-depth tributes from Leonard Maltin and Pete Hammond, among others. This year I had the pleasure of a wide-ranging conversation with Best Actress Oscar-nominee Isabelle Huppert. (See video excerpts below.)
And Saturday, the festival wound up its 32nd edition by handing out its annual jury prizes. All eleven are listed below.
The Audience Choice Award went to Yonatan Nir’s “My Hero Brother,” which also took home the Best Documentary Award. It tells the story of a group of young people with Down syndrome who embarking on an arduous trek through the Himalayas.

The war over the Orwell device exploded on Days of Our Lives during the week of January 30.
Two people nearly died, two more reconciled, and two got kidnapped.
This kind of storyline is a soap staple, and it might have been very moving had it involved characters viewers can actually care about and root for.
After Dario was beaten up and nearly killed, Nicole found him and stayed with him until the ambulance came. In a scene eerily reminiscent of Marlena helping Jj after he was shot a few months ago, Nicole begged Dario to stay alive and got him to utter the name of his attacker.
Besides the fact that this was yet another rerun of something we'd seen not that long ago, there was the problem of Nicole and Dario's friendship having lapsed ages ago.
I forgot they were once good friends, because Dario forgot about Nicole until...

I can't believe I used to like Rafe.
I thought he was a smart, empathetic, intuitive cop and that he and Daniel were natural friends since they both shared an interest in making the world a better place.
But after all the tantrums he threw this week, I've had enough of him. The Rafe who is disgracing our screens lately doesn't seem like he'd ever have passed the FBI psych evaluation, never mind worked for them for years.
The Rafe I knew would have been a great fit for Nicole, but this one throws his weight around to get his way and calls it "love", while Nicole mostly cries about her unfortunate situation.
I'm starting to think Andre is holding these characters on Melaswen. Can we please have the characters we recognize back?
The premise behind everyone's trip to Prague was bad enough, but the latest developments are beyond ridiculous.

Days of Our Lives is bringing the heat today. Nicole’s bail was posted by Justin, and she’s out for blood. She’s not a murderer or an attempted murderer, but she might do whatever she can to get her daughter back from her “Friend” Chloe. She’s so upset right now that all she can think to do is change her friend’s mind about her daughter. She is going to plead and beg Chloe to just give Holly to her, and that shows the character that Nicole possesses. While Deimos, her fiancé, would very likely do nothing more than just resort to

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel know how to champion a good cause whenever they get the chance.
The super cute couple shared a toast of Moet champagne with Et's Carly Steel on the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday, where Biel made sure they celebrated the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, an organization the couple has been involved with for some time.

One of the most appealing things about Days of Our Lives used to be how strong the women were.
Kayla, Jennifer, and Hope were women with careers of their own who accompanied their husbands on adventures and weren't afraid to stand up for their partners when family members, friends, or enemies tried to interfere. Nicole, Kate and Sami were strong villains who felt justified in doing what they did and didn't put up with any Bs.
Nowadays, though, the strength seems to be disappearing. We have shades of it with Kate standing up to Andre and Eduardo, but even she is a shadow of her former self.
Meanwhile, most of the women are busy pursuing one or more men and sex seems to be the only thing on their minds, and the men aren't much better.
Nicole is one of the worst casualties of the current writing regime's insistence that...

The Christmas episodes used to be the best part of Days of Our Lives.
Every year, friends and family would gather at the Horton house to celebrate being together, hang ornaments with their name on them on the tree, and wish viewers a Merry Christmas.
Christmas was supposed to be a time for joy, love and miracles, and was often a break from the heartbreaking drama the Hortons, Bradys and other core characters suffered throughout the year.
But not this year. Salem's Christmas was minimal and depressing, with the annual ornament hanging taking up a little screen time as possible and almost nobody having any Christmas spirit.
At the beginning of the week, Jj seemed to be one of the few people who was genuinely excited about Christmas. He got a tree for his mom and groveled on the phone in order to get Gabi an ornament with her name on it.

Adrienne's breast cancer storyline could have been powerful.
Judi Evans is an extremely talented actress who has played two very different roles on Days of Our Lives. Three, if you count Adrienne's transformation from impoverished blue collar girl to Kiriakis housewife in recent years.
In her current storyline, she's knocking Adrienne's doubt, fear, and desire to handle (or not handle) her cancer her way out of the park.
The problem is, the story seems to be more about Justin's attempt to re-assert control over his wife than anything else, and that makes this otherwise strong storyline more than a little uncomfortable.
After meeting with her doctor, Adrienne wanted to keep what happened there to herself, but Justin and Kayla pushed her to talk so she finally broke down and cried. She then shared that she needed to schedule chemotherapy prior to her mastectomy and hadn't done so yet. She...

On this week's Days of Our Lives, Adrienne was diagnosed with breast cancer and Stefano turned out to have had bone cancer at the time of his murder.
Meanwhile, Abigail continued to hide in the attic and Dario put Jj down for, among other things, his rape which again was referred to as consensual.
If these storylines were written seriously, any one of them could be powerful. Instead, important issues were treated as trivial plot points.
I'd like to start with the Stefano storyline in honor of the late Joseph Mascolo, who passed away on December 8.
Stefano's send-off could have been far better than what viewers got.
Mascolo was an important part of the show and it was hard to watch Chad and Andre talk about how their father was terminally ill while knowing the actor who played him had passed away the day before.
Stefano was the ultimate love-to-hate...

Does anyone else remember when Lawrence Alamain raped Jennifer?
Jennifer was deeply ashamed, couldn't touch Jack without having flashbacks, and ended up calling him a rapist because she couldn't tell him the truth. It drove a wedge between them.
Some 30 years later, while trying to have sex with Gabi, Jennifer's son is having flashbacks of somebody on top of him while he looks terrified and it is freaking him out so much he can't touch her.
It's the exact same story, except for Jj is being vilified for it and his girlfriend -- along with most of the town -- doesn't want to hear about it because they all assume he cheated.
From the beginning, it was pretty obvious that whatever happened to Jj, it wasn't him voluntarily having sex with a stranger. He was too drunk to remember what happened when he awakened the next morning without any clothes on.

Baby Thomas is a year old!
His birthday just happens to fall on Thanksgiving, which also isn't going to take place until next week since Days of Our Lives was pre-empted during the holiday.
It also happens that he''s a very inactive one-year-old who has not been seen crawling, babbling or playing, but that pales in comparison to the fact that his mother is busy hiding from her family for no good reason.
Will her son's first birthday finally draw Abigail out into the open?
This has got to be one of the silliest, most convoluted storylines in recent history. Marci Miller is a fine actress but she's been given an absolutely crazy story.
Last summer, Andre appeared to come up with the brilliant idea to make Chad think that Abigail had died in a plane crash. He chuckled to himself about how Chad and Jj both believed it, and...

Weddings used to be the most exciting, romantic part of Days of Our Lives.
Remember when Kayla got her voice back just in time to say her vows to Steve or when Jack dressed as a fireman to literally sweep Jennifer off her feet and take her to her wedding?
Bo and Hope had a destination wedding and almost the whole town celebrated Will and Sonny's, which also happened to be the first male-male wedding on daytime.
But if the lead-up to Lucas and Adrienne's wedding is the new standard, big soap weddings are a thing of the past along with supercouples and real romance. After a ho-hum lead-in to the world's smallest wedding, so far the most exciting thing was Joey deciding this was the right time to inform his father that his girlfriend is pregnant.
It might have helped if any of Lucas and Adrienne's romance was on-screen.

Jj has long been shoved into the background for no reason at all.
He is a legacy character -- the son of a supercouple and the great-grandson of Tom Horton. Yet he is often written as if he is not even part of the family. His connection to his father's brother is never acknowledged and his character rewritten to fit into a career path that doesn't fit him.
This week on Days of Our Lives, he finally got a story, but it's a horrible one.
Jj's story is, basically, that he was so upset over Abigail's "death" that he drank until he blacked out. When he awakened, he was naked and there was a note from someone thanking him for an amazing time. Therefore, he and everyone around him has concluded that he cheated on Gabi.
There are so many problems with this that it's hard to know where to begin.
