We’ve taken a pen to the UK Christmas TV and radio schedules and circled the shows we’re looking forward to. Add yours below!
Amid the cosy repeats, big movies and inescapable cranberry-stuffed cookery shows on TV this month are a few original gems. Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton’s Inside No. 9 festive special The Devil Of Christmas (Tuesday the 27th of December, 10pm, BBC Two) is top of our must-watch list. Hot on its heels is Yonderland’s family friendly Yonder Yuletide (Saturday the 24th of December, 6.30pm, Sky One). Another for families on Sky is the Christmas Day Jasper Fforde adaptation The Last Dragonslayer, while Channel 4 has the non-festive-but-essential-for-fans-of smart-sci-fi Humans series two finale (Sunday the 18th of December, 9pm).

After months of speculation, ex-Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May finally are working on a brand new show.
Fans longing to see the three middle-aged men mess about in cars will have to wait until 2016, but until then, here's a round-up of everything you need to know so far.
Top Gear without limits: Is Clarkson, Hammond and May's Amazon deal really good news for fans?
Where and when is it on?
The new show will be made exclusive to customers of Amazon Prime, an online streaming service similar to Netflix.
If you haven't got Amazon Prime, it'll cost £79 a year, and you can watch it on various devices and apps - a full explanation of which can be found here.
No official date for the show's launch has been made yet, but it will definitely arrive at some point in 2016, probably in the autumn.
How many episodes will there be?...

Chris Evans has denied reports that Zoe Ball has screen tested for the new series of Top Gear.
The Sunday Mirror claimed that the Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two presenter impressed producers during a try-out opposite the new host, and was now seen as a frontrunner for the job.
However, Evans wrote on Twitter: "Hilariously inaccurate story in 2days paper. Re my good friend Zoe Ball excelling in Top Gear screen test. She hasn't even been for one."
Ball and Evans have known each other for a long time, having both separately appeared on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast and with Ball acting as Evans's relief presenter on his Radio 2 breakfast show.
Evans initially said that he would "definitely 100%" have a female co-host, after it was announced that he would take over the show following the departure of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

Rochelle Humes has been making a name for herself as a TV presenter in recent times, and now her bandmate Mollie King has suggested a surprising TV role.
"I think I should be one of the next Top Gear presenters," she told Notion magazine. "Think about it, it's perfect. Nobody would see it coming.
"Women are obviously better drivers than men, for a start; so I'd be bringing skill, but I think that show needs a bit of girl power."
We think she's joking. Having said that, new host Chris Evans has mentioned on several occasions that he expects to hire at least one female presenter as part of his rebooted Top Gear lineup, but Mollie's probably not high up on the list.
Suzi Perry, Dermot O'Leary and Formula 1 star Jenson Button are among the names being bandied about as potential Top Gear co-hosts, while Jodie Kidd has taken her name off the list.

Jodie Kidd has added fuel to speculation that she could be joining Top Gear - by suggesting the new-look show "definitely" needs a female presenter.
The model and car enthusiast has been heavily linked with a role on the BBC series following the high-profile departures of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
On the future of the motoring show, Kidd told the Daily Mail: "Women are buying cars - it's the norm - so you need a woman's angle.
"Because we're different, men and women, and it's great to listen to a car expert who is a woman."
The 36-year-old, who fronts Channel 5's Classic Car Show, previously spoke of her sadness at watching Clarkson on his final episode of Top Gear, but would she be reluctant to have the same level of global public profile as her close friend?

Chris Evans hasn't found his co-hosts for the new-look Top Gear yet - but has confirmed he is "so very close" to assembling his production team for the show.
The broadcaster signed a three-year deal to produce and present the BBC Two motoring show after the much-publicised departure of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond earlier this year.
Evans told the new edition of Top Gear magazine: "There's a lot of talk about talent at the moment.
"Honestly, it's not the furthest thing away from my mind, but it is quite distant compared to directors, producers, assistant producers, lighting and camera men, editors, production managers, production coordinators and runners.
"I have got to get that team, because, without the team, it doesn't matter what presenters we get."

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will allegedly have to wait two years if they want to launch a motoring show on ITV.
A clause in the Top Gear stars' old BBC contracts prevents them from making a rival car show on a UK channel until April 2017, The Mirror reports.
ITV and Netflix are thought to be leading the race to sign the trio for a new project, although if reports of the legal hitch are true, it could swing the balance of power in favour of the online streaming service.
Hammond and May declined to sign a new Top Gear deal after Clarkson's contract was not renewed over a high-profile bust-up with a producer.
Incoming host Chris Evans suggested that the new Top Gear will "definitely" feature a female co-host, although the BBC played down his comments.

Top Gear has "finally entered the 21st century of internet" and launched a new website.
The new site features behind-the-scenes footage and mini-films, as well as a host of car reviews and news from the show.
A message on the site reads: "Welcome to the all-new TopGear.com. Yes, after years running a website constructed of balsa wood, rubber bands and blind hope, we've finally entered the 21st century of internet. Apparently it even works properly on mobile cellphone devices.
"Now, we know change is scary, but all the stuff you've known, loved and loved-to-hate from TopGear.com is still here - only in (definitely) higher-res, (hopefully) less clunky form than before."
It continued: "There's a heaving hi-def video archive of Top Gear telly clips - including exclusive behind-the-scenes footage you won't find anywhere - along with a host of new-car films from the Tg magazine crew."

Jodie Kidd has admitted that she was sad during the last Top Gear episode with Jeremy Clarkson.
The BBC show bid farewell to Clarkson on Sunday by airing two final unseen films, which were introduced by Richard Hammond and James May.
"It was sad watching the last Top Gear," she told The Mirror. "Jeremy's a dear friend of mine. I have a lot of time for him."
Kidd added that she admires Clarkson, explaining: "I think he's a complete genius and a brilliant presenter. In person, he's exactly like what you see on TV.

Kidd is among several names tipped to join Chris Evans in the new Top Gear lineup, alongside the likes of Suzi Perry, Guy Martin and Dermot O'Leary.

"But we don't know what's going to happen with that show. So until as a broadcaster you know what's going to happen with the show, I don't think you can really think very seriously about it."
However, she admitted that she doubts she would have enough time to film both Top Gear and the BBC's F1 coverage, saying: "I'm away twenty weeks a year doing Formula 1.
"So unless someone has invented 48 hours in a day - which maybe [looking at Phillip Schofield] you have actually! You know, it would be pretty tough I think for me to do it."

It was only a matter of time before this was going to happen. Top Gear fans had no doubt expected that the day would come when Clarkson's actions could spell the end of the show altogether.
With Clarkson now heading out the door, this raises the question of what happens next for Top Gear. For less-popular shows it would probably just be quietly shut down, but it's simply too much of a phenomenon around the world that the BBC can't afford to lose. Not without trying at least.
As a long-time Top Gear fan, it's always been a tricky battle for me to separate my love for Clarkson as a presenter and any opinions I may have for Clarkson as an individual. The fact is, despite all the controversies he kept getting into, I still found him hilarious, and clearly millions of other people did too.

F1 presenter Suzi Perry has said that turning down the opportunity to present Top Gear was a "bad decision".
Perry, who is the first permanent female presenter of F1 on British TV, spoke to producers about joining hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Jason Dawe and Richard Hammond before the show's relaunch in 2002.
However, she insisted that she has no regrets about the way her career has unfolded.
Asked by The Daily Telegraph about her worst business decision, she said: "Years ago, when TV was about to bring Top Gear back and rebrand it with Jeremy, James [May] and Richard, I sat down and talked to Andy Wilman, the series producer, about joining them.
"I remember thinking, 'I might be out of my depth and it might not be a good idea', instead of grabbing the opportunity.
"Looking back, I may have made a large error, but it's not like I didn't work for the next 15 years.

Suzi Perry has been announced as the new presenter of the BBC's Formula 1 coverage. Perry - who previously presented the BBC's MotoGP coverage for 10 years, and has reported on other sports for the network and co-hosted Channel 5's The Gadget Show - is due to begin her stint with live coverage of the Chinese Grand Prix on April 14, 2013. "Motorsport is my life and I've really missed being away from the grid," said Perry, who is replacing former Cbbc and Olympics presenter Jake Humphrey in the role. "I am so excited to be joining the BBC," she added. "Working alongside such an eminent team and the F1 world is a huge honour and I can't wait to get started." Virgin Media has unveiled what it claims is the "best-connected beach hut" on the UK coast, featuring next-generation broadband, television and a host of gadgets. The hut in Beach Green, Shoreham, has been kitted out by Virgin Media to allow "beach lovers to surf the web as well as the waves outside". The 10ft by 8ft space (with a 4ft porch) features 15 different gadgets selected by former The Gadget Show presenter Suzi Perry, including wind-powered lights, coffee makers and a children's tablet computer. Holidaymakers can also benefit from Virgin Media's TiVo service and an ultrafast 100Mbps broadband. This marks the latest stunt by VIrgin Media, after the firm previously launched a fleet of supercars turned into London taxis to launch superfast broadband, and established its own 'gentleman's club' in London called Our House. Anneka Rice has revealed that she thinks Treasure Hunt should return to TV screens with a new presenter. The 53-year-old starred in the popular game show on Channel 4 between 1982 and 1988. Suzi Perry fronted an updated version on BBC Two in 2002. Talking about the show's success in the 1980s, Rice told ITV1's Daybreak: "At the time there was nothing on, TV was grown up, there was nothing spontaneous and mad. "Channel 4 took a big risk, it was totally unscripted, I was an unknown. It was so extraordinarily fresh after years of straight TV. It was so earnest as well, really uncynical." She added: "I don't know why they (more)...

The Gadget Show presenter Suzi Perry has criticised the technology industry's tendency to view women as a separate market, highlighting that Apple became so successful by making stylish products that are coveted by both sexes. Like it or not, the technology and gadget industries are still largely dominated by men - just attend any press conference for a new tech product and it is likely that the room will be split at least 60% to 40% in favour of the males. However, technology products have moved beyond just the early adopters and are now in the pockets of the masses, meaning consumers of technology are as likely to be women as men. This has led many manufacturers of smartphones, tablets, radios and other consumer electronics products to take a stab at serving female consumers with products directly aimed at them.
