Jim Davidson got ''really depressed'' in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house. The 61-year-old comedian won the 13th series of the star-studded reality TV show earlier this year despite clashing with Linda Nolan on several occasions, and the star admitted he would've quit the programme if it hadn't become such good friends with N-Dubz rapper Dappy Contostavlos. He said: ''I didn't think I was going to win, I didn't think I was even going to come close. ''I didn't think I would win especially when the arguments with Linda were kicking off and I got really depressed. ''I did think, 'What...

Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, the comedian explained that his victory brought him full circle after his "rotten" 2013, in which he faced allegations of sexual assault that were later dropped.

Celebrity Big Brother star Linda Nolan has played down her own claims that she self-harmed while in the house.
The evicted housemate recently told the Daily Star that she had been driven to self-harming during her time on the Channel 5 reality show, but she has now clarified her story.

As we brace ourselves for the Celebrity Big Brother final - we're just starting to warm to Jim and we're already missing Lee saying "I'm no player" on repeat - we bring you some of our favourite quotes from arguably the best series so far.
1. We enjoyed Dappy's unnecessary Gcse rant, during which his grades seemed to go up each time he attempted to recite his results. "I got a B in Music, an A in English... I got an A in music... an A* in English..."
The real piece de resistance was when Dappy declared that he'd definitely beat Luisa in an Iq test. Or come a bit below.
Or an awful lot?
2. When Luisa was handcuffed to Evander and the pair were suffering many an awkward silence, she eventually turned and asked the former heavyweight boxer: "Do you not say a lot or do you just not like me?...

This series of Celebrity Big Brother has been - without a doubt, without any arguments - a classic. Already, we're starting to wonder what we're going to do when it comes to an end. What are we going to shout at on our television now? But prepare we must, because the show comes to an end tonight (even after Channel 5 pushed it back and back again).
Before we say goodbye, though, there's one little matter to deal with. It's just a small thing. Only who's going to win. And to be honest, it doesn't seem like this is really a puzzler: all signs point to Jim.
Sure, we could be in for an Ulrika Jonsson-style shock, but if we're going on odds and what we know of the voting so far, it would not be a surprise to see the former Generation Game host taking the crown. But... is that a good thing?...

She explained: "She was a mother figure in the house. Our common ground was Jim.
"I've given up hating Jim, I can't be arsed, possibly having Linda not here could be a benefit for me and Jim making amends.

When asked if the audience reaction was a surprise to her, she replied: "I haven't been up for nomination though, have I? So I can only go on what housemates think of me.
"I'd love to have stayed in, so yeah, I'm a little bit gutted," she added, "but that's what the show's all about, isn't it?"
As Willis brought up the former singer's arguments with Jim Davidson and showed footage of several confrontations, Linda laughed and looked away from the monitors.
"Look I don't want to spend the whole interview talking about Jim," she began, "but I stand by everything I said.

"However, there's not been one moment in this house where I've had to stand up for myself apart from right now."
Later on in the bedroom, Linda and Luisa discussed Ollie's decision to address the house, describing the incident as "cringey".

Celebrity Big Brother's Huskies have passed the latest shopping task.
The task saw housemates Lee Ryan, Casey Batchelor, Luisa Zissman and Dappy dressing up as husky dogs and pulling a sled around the garden, which was covered in fake snow.
Big Brother gathered the housemates to reveal that the Huskies had not been staying in a kennel after all, and instead had been enjoying treats at The Mutt's Nuts.

Big Brother had previously hinted that things wouldn't be "all too bad" for the Huskies as there was a "surprise twist" in the works.

As part of this week's North Pole shopping task, the Huskies - Dappy, Lee Ryan, Luisa Zissman and Casey Batchelor - were treated to a night in a pub but had to convince the other housemates, the Explorers, that they were spending the night in a squalid kennel.
Jim decided to go on hunger strike in solidarity and - when the Huskies were allowed to spend time in the garden - revealed that the Explorers had been provided with cherry brandy which they didn't drink.
"I did," Linda revealed. "I didn't drink the end, though, because it was horrible. But the top was [nice]. Initially it was like a liqueur coffee, but the cherry brandy was really strong. I couldn't drink that."

Celebrity Big Brother introduced a twist to this week's North Pole shopping task last night.
The Huskies - Luisa Zissman, Dappy, Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor - have had to endure tasks involving pulling the other housemates on a sled, drinking ice cold shots, and using their mouths to remove fish from lines.
However, Big Brother had a surprise treat for them last night - which they had to keep a secret from their fellow housemates.
The quartet were initially told that they would not be allowed to sleep in the warmth of the house and would have to bed down in their "dog kennel" in the garden.
They were all unhappy about the news, worried that they would not be able to sleep and would not have any food apart from perhaps slop.
"I don't know why you're suffering like this," Linda Nolan said in solidarity. "Maybe we're going to suffer some s**t.

Celebrity Big Brother housemate Lee Ryan was in agony after suffering from brain freeze in the latest task.
As part of this week's North Pole shopping task, Big Brother gathered the 'huskies' - Lee, Casey Batchelor, Luisa Zissman and Dappy - to take part in a challenge.
Explorer Linda Nolan was asked to answer a series of questions, with the answer being a number. The huskies would then have to down the right number of ice cold shots.
The huskies immediately ran into trouble, with Casey complaining about her teeth and Luisa groaning.
However, it was in round two that things really escalated as the shots - which were so frozen that the huskies had to bang them to get them out of the glasses - started to affect Lee.
After just one shot, he was holding his head in his hands, almost crying and squealing, gasping: "I've only had one,...

She added that she was "absolutely fuming" when Jim brought up Linda's late husband and the infamous "Frank Carson's dressing room" incident.

Celebrity Big Brother star Ollie Locke got annoyed last night when his roast potato technique was questioned by the other housemates.
As some members of the group began cooking a big meal for everyone, Jim Davidson was the first to complain, worrying about how the pork was being prepared.
Linda Nolan then got involved by criticising Ollie for his spud slicing.
"He said he knew what he was doing," she complained. "They're going to be like crisps."
Ollie ended up storming into the garden, telling Dappy: "I do roasts all the time and I cut them like that and it's never been questioned."
As Dappy explained that he too likes small potatoes, Ollie continued: "I'm just keeping out of it. I'll do the washing up. I can't deal with it. If I'm going to have an argument in here, it's not going to be about potatoes."

The housemates were displaying more outrageous behaviour on Celebrity Big Brother last night (January 15), which almost topped their uncouth and latex-clad antics during last weekend's 18 Certificate task.
It was another round of truth or dare for Jasmine Waltz, Lee Ryan, Luisa Zissman and Dappy after three hours of solid drinking on yesterday's show. And we all remember what happened when they played that game in the hot tub last time...
Jasmine dared Dappy to passionately kiss Luisa on the neck, which he happily obliged to do as the former Apprentice star instructed him to not give her a love-bite.
He then accepted Jasmine's even raunchier dare to suck Luisa's nipple, so he excitedly clambered underneath her T-shirt before emerging with her bikini top on his head.

Celebrity Big Brother will have another day added to this series due to the show's success.
Yesterday, Channel 5 revealed that the programme would be extended by four days - but it has now pushed the final back yet another 24 hours.
The broadcaster confirmed that the final will now air at 9pm on Wednesday, January 29.
The move was attributed to the "developing editorial" in the show and the addition of an extra eviction on Sunday, January 26.
The news means that the highlights show due to air on January 26 will now become an eviction, while the planned finale on January 28 will instead feature a highlights show and a repeat of Botched Up Bodies. The Tuesday edition of Bit on the Side has also been reduced from 90 minutes to 60 minutes and will be followed by a repeat of Hens Behaving Badly.

Celebrity Big Brother housemate Luisa Zissman hit out at Jim Davidson after the face to face nominations last night.
Jim chose to put Luisa up for eviction during the process but the Apprentice star later told some of the other celebrities that she was unhappy about his choice of words as he did so.
"I've been thinking about getting the tinfoil and making a little Oscar out of it for Jim, for his speech about me on the sofa," she said. "Fantastic. I think it deserves an Oscar."
Luisa received instant support from fellow housemate Linda Nolan, who said: "We were just saying how completely out of order it was. Well, I put my arm around you immediately, because I thought, 'You absolute child'."
Luisa explained that she took exception to Jim complaining that she talks about herself all the time, pointing out that every housemate discusses their lives outside.

Not since Denise Welch pulled down a Playboy bunny's pair of pyjama bottoms have we seen such outrageous behaviour from a Celebrity Big Brother contestant - until Jasmine Waltz entered the house.
Just six days in and the racy 31-year-old Las Vegas model has repeatedly flashed her breasts, been motor-boated in the hot tub (courtesy of Dappy), snogged Luisa Zissman and Lee Ryan, and introduced the expression "fingerbanging" to Lionel Blair's lexicon. And most of that took place on the first night.
So, let's brace ourselves and take a look at Jasmine Waltz's truly unruly behaviour in the house so far:
We hope her mum's not watching (somehow Sam's not)
The celebrities had only been in the house for what seemed like five minutes - which was more than enough time for Jasmine to chug down champagne and Sam Faiers's vodka and lemonade before toppling over...

Katie Hopkins has blasted the contestants on Celebrity Big Brother, claiming that she thinks Linda Nolan "probably smells of wee".
During an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side to be aired tonight (January 7) on Channel 5, Hopkins slates every housemate apart from controversial comic Jim Davidson.
In the episode, Hopkins says of Linda: "Boring old woman! Probably smells of wee. She is revolting. Her knockers are somewhere near her ankles."
Meanwhile, Blue's Lee Ryan is labelled "out of shape, not beautiful" and "unfit and greasy", while Dappy is supposedly "'just revolting". Hopkins adds of the N-Dubz singer: "I'm not one for short people, ginger people or fat people."
The Daily Mail's Liz Jones has "a very flat face" and "looks like she's walked into patio doors" according to Hopkins, who is joined by The Xtra Factor's Matt Richardson and 5ive star and former housemate Abz Love on the show.

Celebrity Big Brother contestant Luisa Zissman has branded the blossoming relationship between her fellow housemates Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor a "showmance".
The businesswoman expressed her doubts about whether the pair's feelings for each other are genuine in a discussion with Jasmine Waltz.
Luisa suggested that Lee and Casey - who face eviction this week alongside the Apprentice star and her partner Evander Holyfield, as well as previously chosen Liz Jones and Dappy - are deliberately getting closer to avoid leaving the Channel 5 show.
Luisa told Jasmine: "Watch how much they turn it up now they are up for eviction."
When Jasmine asked who Luisa was referring to, she answered: "The lovebirds."
The duo went on to discuss whether or not Lee and Casey had had sex in the house, with Luisa insisting that she doubts whether the pair are even attracted to each other.

Two more Celebrity Big Brother housemates have been granted immunity from the public vote following the most recent task.
The Tangled challenge was the final chance for the stars to free themselves from their handcuffs and receive immunity from eviction.
Each pair had to pass their key along a knotted rope to unlock their rope and then unlock their handcuffs.
Ollie Locke and Lionel Blair were the first to finish and therefore won immunity.
They managed to pass the key over the ropes and unlock their handcuffs in 2.53 minutes.
They join Jim Davidson and Linda Nolan, who won yesterday's (January 4) challenge, and Sam Faiers and and Jasmine Waltz, who came second.
Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor were second in the Tangled task, followed by Evander Holyfield and Luisa Zissman.
The two pairs will now face the public vote along with Dappy and Liz Jones.

Celebrity Big Brother has freed two more pairs of contestants from their chains and granted them immunity from eviction.
Jim Davidson and Linda Nolan emerged victorious in the first 'Building Blocks of Celebrity' task, which required them to build a tower representing their fame.
Sam Faiers and Jasmine Waltz earned their freedom in the second task of the day, where each of the four remaining pairs were called to the Diary Room.
One member of each pair was blindfolded and given earphones, while their partner was asked to predict how the other would honestly answer a series of quick-fire questions.
The process was then reversed, with Sam and Jasmine scoring the most correct matches when the answers were revealed.
Jim, Linda, Sam and Jasmine not only earned their freedom from their handcuffs, but have also been granted immunity from the first eviction.
