Will big changes be shaking up Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules whenever it returns from its indefinite hiatus? Season 11 did not end on the most positive of notes with Lala Kent demanding transparency while Ariana Madix felt backed into a corner. So, what is next for the hit Bravo series and what can fans expect in terms of casting? Keep reading for more details.
Vanderpump Rules Big Changes Shaking Up Season 12?
Around this time of year, the cast of Vanderpump Rules should be filming or getting ready to film the upcoming season. That is not happening as production thought a pause was absolutely necessary. It also seems fans agree after a lackluster season and a frustrating reunion. The hope is that the cast can move away from ‘Scandoval,’ take time to breathe, go on new adventures, and bring fresh content. Additionally, Ariana Madix has a full summer with her hosting gig...

While during the podcast she spoke about her life in the U.S., winning Miss World pageant, her career in India and also the bullying she faced in U.S. schools, a section of people on the Internet are not pleased with the actress’s decision to appear on the podcast.

Alex Cooper is engaged! The “Call Her Daddy” podcast host confirmed her engagement to Hollywood producer Matt Kaplan to W Magazine this week.
“We were doing a shoot at my studio in West Hollywood,” Cooper tells W of Kaplan’s proposal. “I remember the shoot feeling like it had no direction, and I could tell everyone was stalling. Little did I know that this was a fake photoshoot that my publicist and Matt set up to keep me out of the house, out of my sweatpants and in hair, makeup and nails so I’d feel happy with the photos. Cole Sprouse has claimed that Hollywood “encourages the worst qualities” in actors.
The Riverdale star made his screen debut in commercials as a baby, before starring in the sitcom Grace Under Fire alongside his twin brother Dylan when they were both toddlers.
Appearing on The Diary of a CEO podcast, Sprouse opened up about his youth spent as a child star and said that many young actors got into the industry to “put food on the table”.
“I think the pressure of my upbringing really compelled me to keep doing what I am today,” he told host Steven Bartlett.
“I cannot live without the arts… without performance or expression of some kind, because truly it’s all I know and have known since I was eight months old.”
Sprouse said that he “loved being on stage” growing up, but added that he “didn’t like the s*** that came with it”.

Cole Sprouse is laying it all out on the table.
While sitting down with Alex Cooper on the latest episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, the former Disney Channel star recounted the “cringey” story of how he lost his virginity as a young teenager.
“This is such a great story. I feel like it says so much about me,” Sprouse, now 30, told Cooper before providing a few minor details to paint the picture: “I was 14 when I lost my virginity, so this is still bowl-cut guy.”
“I was on a family trip in Florida, and I met this girl who was older, so that’s already dubious. The first night we kind of made out, the second night — this makes me nervous, it’s so cringey — I, like, knocked on her hotel door,” he continued, noting that his heart was “beating” as the two then made their way to a beach.

Kelsea Ballerini made her “Saturday Night Live” musical guest debut with what appeared to be a slight dig at ex Morgan Evans.
Ballerini, who performed the track, “Blindsided” from her new breakup album, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, noticeably added some extra lyrics to the end of the song to seemingly take aim at Evans amid their ongoing divorce drama.
Following the final chorus, Ballerini looked straight into the camera, and sang, “Now you’re singing out loud on the radio/You couldn’t say it to my face/You would’ve searched the whole world over/Yeah, sure. Ok.”
She also performed her hit ballad, “Penthouse,” off the same album.
Ballerini’s scorching lyrics come after a bit of back-and-forth between the 29-year-old singer and her ex. Most recently, Evans opened up about the split in a five-part docuseries for his song, “Over for You.” The track, written about the divorce,...

As top podcast executives and creators gathered at the Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn for the Hot Pod Summit on Feb. 23, a question seemed to underlie each conversation: As the industry seeks an injection of new energy amid an advertising market correction and creators experiment with formats like video, what really is a podcast these days — and how will people make money?
In various conversations with studio executives and creators, a common refrain were the difficulties of turning a profit on podcasting alone. Even Spotify, which recently revised its podcast leadership (again) and had layoffs and show cancelations in its podcast division, is reevaluating its spending after pouring more than $1 billion into licensing deals and acquisitions in the past few years.
As such, repackaging audio content and seeking out derivatives like film and TV adaptations could be the key to actually making good money in podcasting, especially now that the megadeals...

“I just wanted everyone to have a nice time. I didn’t want to have a wedding,” Ballerini told host Alex Cooper. “I didn’t think, at the end of the day,...

Morgan Evans is speaking out ahead of ex Kelsea Ballerini‘s tell-all interview. One day before the release of Ballerini’s interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Evans took to Twitter to react to her forthcoming claims.
“It’s really sad for me to see this person, who I spent so much of my life with, and loved with all my heart, saying things that aren’t reality and that leave out what really happened,” Evans tweeted. “She knows I’m not the type of guy to speak on those things publicly. If this is what she needs to heal, I hope it helps.”
“All I ask is that if you’re on my pages, please don’t be mean,” he continued. “Don’t be mean to Kelsea, don’t be mean to each other. Life’s too short.”

Max Cutler — the executive who oversees Spotify’s exclusive deals with top creators like Joe Rogan, Call Her Daddy‘s Alex Cooper and Emma Chamberlain — will leave the company in May, a Spotify spokesperson confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
Cutler’s exit comes shortly after Spotify announced a reorganization on Jan. 23 that led to the departure of Dawn Ostroff, Spotify’s chief content and ad business officer, and the promotions of Alex Norström and Gustav Söderström to the co-president positions.
With Cutler’s pending departure, Julie McNamara will now take over leadership of Spotify’s exclusive licensing deals with creators like Rogan, Cooper and Chamberlain in addition to continuing to lead original content and major studio partnerships. Rebel Wilson has opened up about what it took to play Patricia “Fat Amy” Hobart in the Pitch Perfect films, revealing that her contract for the series restricted her from losing weight. As a result, the actor put off making lifestyle changes until the franchise “seemed like it was over.”
“I couldn’t lose a massive amount of weight because I was in the contracts for that movie,” Wilson said on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast. “You can’t lose — I think it’s not more than 10 pounds or gain more than 10 pounds. You have to kind of stay at the weight. It’s in your contract.”
She continued, “I’d been thinking for a while I wanted to get healthier. I was stereotyped in playing that fat, funny friend, which is so hard because I love those roles. I love doing the roles, I love those characters.

The agency will work with founders and co-hosts Jack Crivici-Kramer and Nick Martell to create new opportunities in a range of areas for the finance podcast.

Behati Prinsloo has joined the chat. On Monday, podcast host Alex Cooper teased an upcoming interview on her popular “Call Her Daddy” podcast. In a teaser clip, Cooper seemed to be interviewing singer Adam Levine, though her guest was never shown.
“I have to tell you, I was a huge Maroon 5 fan and I’m glad that you agreed to sit down with me today and discuss the scandal surrounding the infidelity in your marriage,” Cooper said in the clip. “How many times did you cheat with women that you met on Instagram?”
Turns out, she’s actually sitting down with actor Adam DeVine, who has previously joked about being mistaken for the Maroon 5 frontman.
Prinsloo, who recently welcomed her third child with Levine following allegations of his infidelity, commented on the fake out teaser, simply writing, “Lol.”

Jane Fonda once thought her life was on the line during a harmful period at the beginning of her career.
When the actress was in her twenties, she began to suffer from an eating disorder.
“I led a secret life. I was very, very unhappy. I assumed I wouldn’t live past 30,” Fonda said during her interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast on Wednesday. In true Fonda fashion, the Hollywood icon joked that she doesn’t “understand” how she’s now in her eighties.
The “Grace and Frankie” star then explained that her “secret life” consisted of basically being a home body- she had a nonexistent dating life and never went out, which made her “unhappy.”

On Jan. 23, as Spotify staff learned of plans to lay off 6 percent of the company, or about 600 people, top podcast executives at the audio giant went into damage-control mode. Most notable among the departures was Dawn Ostroff, the chief content and advertising business officer who was hired in 2018 to build out Spotify’s podcasting ambitions and, as one top dealmaker describes it, “represented Hollywood and talent from a creative perspective” for the Sweden-based company. With Ostroff set to exit and hand over leadership of content to Alex Nörstrom, a business executive who oversaw Spotify’s freemium model, the podcast execs quickly scheduled calls with outside partners, agents and managers to reassure them of Spotify’s commitment to existing deals.
Ostroff’s departure was a surprise to some observers, given that the executive was one of Spotify’s most public-facing leaders, spearheading key presentations to investors, participating in media interviews to...

It was only later, when she met up with a friend who was also on Ozempic that she finally understood what drug she was taking.
“I came back from a vacation and I injected myself with it. I went to lunch with a girlfriend a few days later, and she was like, ‘I’m not really eating anything.

Depending on whom you ask, Hollywood is already in a recession: Studios are reining in budgets and implementing hiring freezes and layoffs. The podcast industry, which is still settling into its sweet spot in the pantheon of capital-e Entertainment, appears poised to follow suit both as a reaction to the economic downturn and as a reflection of audio’s past years of massive growth.
It’s no secret that podcasting has seen an influx of corporate cash driven by players like Spotify, Amazon, iHeartMedia and SiriusXM. That cash, resulting in an influx of megadeals and new talent coming into the once-niche medium, was largely driven by these companies’ ambitions to create inventory and demand for a ballooning audio ad market by building out their libraries and growing global listenership.

Selena Gomez is reportedly dating The Chainsmokers' Drew Taggart, as confirmed to Us Weekly by an anonymous source. The songstress, 30, and musician, 33, have seemingly been spending time together in public places, such as the movie theater and bowling alley. The insider who spoke to Us Weekly described the pair as "so affectionate," also commenting that "Selena can hardly keep her hands off him." Reps for Gomez and Taggart did not immediately respond to Popsugar's request for comment.
While Gomez was previously linked to The Weeknd in 2017, and most famously to Justin Bieber (2010-2018), she recently joked that she's now in a "throuple" with Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham after spending time with them vacationing on a yacht over New Year's. The star, who just announced her fourth album will be released later this year, stepped out solo for the Golden Globes on Jan.

Selena Gomez is heading into 2023 with a glass-half-full attitude. The 30-year-old singer and actress is feeling “optimistic” about her love life in the coming months, a source tells Et.
“Selena is feeling positive and optimistic,” the source says. “She is open to dating.”
The report comes several months after Hailey Bieber addressed claims that she stole her now-husband, Justin Bieber, from Selena when Hailey and Selena first began dating.
In September, “Call Her Daddy” podcast host Alex Cooper asked Hailey if there was overlap between her relationship with Justin. Hailey responded, “No, not one time.”
A source now tells Et that “Hailey and Justin are doing incredible as a couple. They are each other’s rocks. They make sure they’re there for each other for whatever each of them needs and show their support for one another.”

In recent years, John Mayer has distanced himself from the dating world and, in a new interview, the “Gravity” singer opened up on how his sobriety has impacted his dating habits.
“Dating is no longer a codified activity for me, it doesn’t exist in a kind of… it’s not patterned anymore,” the 45-year-old musician said on the latest episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
“I don’t really date — I don’t think that I have to, to be quite honest. I quit drinking like six years ago, so I don’t have the liquid courage. I just have dry courage,” Mayer added.

John Mayer has revealed who his breakout single “Your Body Is A Wonderland” was written about.
The single was the fourth track on Mayer’s debut album Room For Squares, released in 2001.
Mayer has famously dated many celebrities over the years, including the likes of Taylor Swift, Cameron Diaz, Katy Perry and Jennifer Aniston.
The singer discussed the origins of the song while being interviewed for popular US podcast Call Her Daddy’s Christmas special, which dropped on Tuesday (20 December).
“Your Body Is A Wonderland” came up when host Alex Cooper and Mayer began talking about Mayer’s early years.
Contrary to what people might think, Mayer was quick to set the record straight that the song was not about a celebrity.

Spotify is assembling a lineup of prominent podcasts, and that mission has led it to a deal with Emma Chamberlain. The vlogger, whose aesthetic, style, and personality have made her a Gen Z icon, will release her show Anything Goes as a Spotify exclusive beginning in 2023.
The last five uploads on Chamberlain’s YouTube channel have all been travel vlogs, but her podcast is much more freeform than that. As its name implies, Anything Goes offers its host’s far-reaching reflections. Recent topics have ranged from celebrity privacy to depression to sex.
Chamberlain’s first foray into podcasting was Stupid Genius, a show that asked its then-teenaged host to answer broad questions. Stupid Genius evolved into Anything Goes in 2020, after the top creator admitted that she was “stuck” in her previous podcast format.

Emma Chamberlain is bringing her hit podcast Anything Goes exclusively to Spotify as part of a multiyear licensing deal with the audio giant.
Beginning in early 2023, new episodes and the entire back catalogue of Anything Goes, currently distributed by Cadence13’s Ramble, will be available to stream exclusively on Spotify.
“I’ve been listening to everything on Spotify since I was 14,” Chamberlain said in a statement. “Spotify has played a huge role in developing my love and passion for podcasts and music, and I am consistently wowed by the way the platform continues to evolve. I couldn’t be more honored to be their exclusive partner, and work together to allow Anything Goes to blossom in ways it couldn’t have anywhere else.”

Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez posed for photos together at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Gala, and the internet is losing it over the historic pop culture moment.
In what is perhaps the most-talked-about photo, Selena and Hailey are seen warmly embracing, and they seem to be genuinely smiling and enjoying each other’s company after rumors of a fight between them.
Twitter had some pretty hilarious takes on the new development.
One fan, @hankersfilms, tweeted passionately, “Hailey Bieber And Selena Gomez Hugged Each Other This Is My Multiverse Of Madness I Swear To God.”
Another, @alrightdrew, joked, “The way Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez have done more for world peace [than the] majority of the politicians in the world.”
Bieber and Gomez posing together is monumental because the model and the singer have been pitted against each other for the last four years.
Gomez famously dated Bieber’s now-husband, Justin Bieber,...

Actress-singer Selena Gomez and American model Hailey Bieber recently posed together for a picture that may have seemed like an impossibility to some fans.
The ladies joined forces at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ 2nd annual gala in Los Angeles recently, weeks after Hailey appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and denied rumours she “stole” husband Justin Bieber from his ex-girlfriend Gomez, reports People magazine.
The pair appeared to be on good terms at the Los Angeles event as they were all smiles while posing for an impromptu photo opp. In one photo, Selena can be seen with her hand on Hailey’s leg, and in another, she has a full smile on her face as they stand closely.
According to People, the public display of sisterhood comes after the former’s bombshell conversation on Alex Cooper’s podcast in September, when she addressed rumours of a feud...

Spotify is set to cancel 10 of its original podcasts from studios Parcast and Gimlet over the next month, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Gimlet’s How To Save A Planet, Crime Show and Every Little Thing and Parcast’s Medical Murders, Female Criminals, Crimes of Passion, Dictator, Mythology, Haunted Places and Urban Legends will wrap up in the next month. Parcast’s Horoscope Today, representing the eleventh show impacted, will also shut down, though that won’t take place until next year during the second quarter.
The cuts are expected to impact under 5 percent of staff working on original podcasts at the audio giant’s in-house studios — which includes Parcast, Gimlet, The Ringer and Spotify Studios — while others working on the canceled shows will be reassigned to different projects.
Spotify currently has a slate of more than 500 original and exclusive shows produced across its four in-house studios.

It would be reductive to say podcasts are having a moment right now. The industry, which is expected to generate 4 billion in revenue by 2024, can trace its roots back to the days of radio, when creators were making podcasts long before Ben Hammersley coined the name. But the format’s impact and moneymaking potential have arguably never been higher, as evidenced by the entry of new megawatt voices like Meghan Markle, whose Archetypes dominated the charts shortly after launch. For this year’s inaugural Podcast Power Players list, THR examined the medium’s current landscape, taking reach and influence into account to determine the leading dealmakers and front-facing creatives pushing the industry forward. — J. Seated in one of the plush sofa chairs inside her recording studio (which she calls the “Dad Pad”), Alex Cooper, the host of the relationship advice and comedy podcast Call Her Daddy, recalls feeling “so much fucking pressure” to prove she was worth her 60 million, three-year deal with Spotify.
That’s because, four years ago, Cooper was sharing raunchy details about her sex life and doling out advice on blowjobs to early listeners of her show, embracing her label as the “sex girl” when Call Her Daddy launched in 2018 and joined Barstool Sports. Today, the Los Angeles–based creator is now the highest-paid female podcaster on Spotify and has become a sought-after interviewer for celebrities (like Hailey Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato) who want to be vulnerable on her show. Though Spotify hasn’t shared numbers, Call Her Daddy is marketed as...
