Pink’s latest music video is something of a throwback.
In an interview with Et Canada’s Keshia Chanté, the singer was asked about her new video “Trustfall” featuring dance moves from her first-ever video, for 2000’s “There You Go”.

“I love that you got that,” Pink remarked. “That’s exactly what I wanted. I told the choreographers, ‘Go watch the ‘There You Go’ video and give me a dance.'”
As for her memories of that video, which featured some pretty impressive motorcycle stunts, Pink was all smiles.
“It was so fun. Christian, the cute boy, I remember him,” she laughed. “I just remember going like, ‘I can’t believe they’re gonna put enough money into this video that I get to launch two motorcycles off of...

Billy Bush is ready to return to TV!

Inspired by the tunes of Grease‘s “Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee,” Bush sang about his hope to get back to working on television.

Pay no attention to Jennifer Lopez’s birth certificate! The “dewdrops in the enchanted forest” freshness of her visage is all the confirmation you need that the woman who gave us “Booty” (and booty) last summer is most definitely still a teenager.
Pity the poor mortals who have to age, though. “There’s something about when they’re that young,” J.Lo mused after 16-year-old Lovey James’ perky rendition of “Break Free” (a surprising hit for decaying 21-year-old Ariana Grande). “There’s a fearlessness… the same girl at 25 that comes in here and [hasn’t] had the success is a little beaten down.

In theory, eye shadow palettes are a genius multitasking product. In one pan are the four or so shades that will take your makeup look from ho-hum to ah-mazing. However, one or two of the shadows always seem to be the go-to colors, with the remaining left virtually untouched. Just in time for a fall beauty makeover, L'Oreal Paris Consulting Makeup Artist Billy B. demystifies the palette so you can create an expert smoky eye every time. "A palette is convenient logistically, but the real value is that most [...]...

We interrupt your regularly scheduled The Voice recap with a Public Service Announcement about Adam Levine‘s Battle Rounds Rehearsal Beard™: Dude, you can put on a hideous Hawaiian shirt and allow your carefully manicured stubble to devolve into a mangy mess, but it does not negate your hotness. It’s entirely possible, however, that your common sense, taste level and critical ear may have been moderately damaged by said errant mane.

Well, "Project Runway" fans, it's the big night. Tonight, we'll learn who is the winner of Season 12 - Dom, Alexandria, Justin, or Bradon. And we'll be live-blogging along as we watch and critique. We'd like to say we have our formal wear on, but we do have a glass a wine! Let's go!
The current Hollywood darling and "It" girl, Kerry Washington, is guest judging for the finale, and we can't wait to hear what she has to say about the designers.
9:01: We still can't believe Helen is out.
9:03: The Tide Washable Challenge ($250 to spend) means that they have to throw out one of their designs, and make a "washable" look. So off to Mood. Justin is making a sweater-ish vest. Alexandria is looking for pants in a washable fabric. Dom is doing a color-blocked dress. Justin finds a washable silk jersey.

We're down to five designers on Season 12 of "Project Runway," with the dismissal of Kate and Alexander. Next week is the first part of the finale... so this is a big challenge - the final four move ahead to New York Fashion Week. We're close to the end. So get a glass of something and let's dig in, shall we?
Left in the competition: Dom (who won last week's challenge,) Alexandria, Justin, Bradon, and Helen. Justin knows he's got a target on him, as he's not won once.
Tim Gunn and the designers go on a field trip to Sweetbriar Nature Center in Long Island. It's always fun when the non-nature designers get sent out into nature. They get to take a tour through the butterfly house, along with Billy B., the L'Oreal consulting makeup artist. Five seasons in, there’s no denying The Voice has its predictable rhythms.
There are typically four or five successful auditions per hour, offset by one hopeful who doesn’t get any chairs to turn. The coaches are as plain as the desperation on a Kardashian’s face when they’re truly excited to get a singer on their team (versus feeling kinda ambivalent after hitting the big red button). And no matter the case, Cee Lo is gonna say something daffy, like asking a teenage girl if she got her boots at Aldo, then insisting on snapping a photo...

Adam Levine is no stranger to making his opinions known on Twitter, in interviews, and anywhere else people will listen. Tuesday night’s hot mike moment on The Voice when the Maroon 5 frontman and coach on the show claimed to “hate this country,” after two of his contestant’s were voted off the singing competition, sparked yet another round of Levine tweets. He later explained it was a joke made in an emotional moment. But last night’s performance was just another comment to add to the stack of bold declarations from the world’s most-tattooed nice Jewish boy.

Nashville, Tenn. — The Band Perry has performed something like 15 times over the last 10 days, finishing an 18-month saga that was the making of their second album with a grueling appearance schedule.
The brother-sister trio glammed it up at the Academy of Country Music Awards and headlined a charity concert in Las Vegas. They hit "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and taped a segment for "Dancing With the Stars" in Los Angeles, got a shoutout along the way from Justin Timberlake and landed "Pioneer" at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The album sold 129,000 copies this week, exceeding estimates by 20 percent or more.
Talk about landing the dismount.
"In this day and age of the music business to get a chance to even allow us to have the opportunity to record again is not something lost on us," Kimberly Perry said.
"Pioneer" will be one of the most talked about albums on Music Row this year.

Season 4 of The Voice is a leaner — although by no means meaner — kind of party.
Where last year’s competition found each of the show’s four coaches choosing a somewhat distended 16 vocalists apiece, the show’s current incarnation has trimmed the fat to a more reasonable (and easier-to-follow) 12 singers per team.

Ten dames stepped up to the mic on Wednesday night. Nine of them sang. One of them exploded.
And was rewarded for it.
And... I'm fine with it? Let this be a lesson to everyone: If you are a fine singer who gets an opportunity to wow the nation on American Idol, but you choose the lite-fm nonchalance of Alicia Keys' "No One," maybe you deserve to finish between 20th and 40th place. Maybe I think that's justified, Cristabel Clacky. And maybe if you're a howling claymation clown sorceress named Zoanette Johnson who sets the bar for unthinkable camp monstrosities with a performance of (wait for it) "The Circle of Life," maybe you really do earn your place in the Top 20 -- even if you can't sing, control yourself, or really do anything except blubber and wail like a watercolor-drenched Pagliacci. Maybe.

To be honest, I almost forgot that we're supposed to be in a "girls' season" of American Idol. The boys sorta stepped up last week, and I got all the Anthony Perkins/Evan Lysacek realness I needed from Paul Jolley (who will so, so be eliminated if he keeps playing this "country ballads only" game like it's season four or something). But hey, look: These girls almost All awesome! We've got some countrified mademoiselles, a couple of grudge-bearing belters, a discolored weirdo named Kezban, and one total disaster named Zoanette who keeps Muppet-belching her way to the Top 20. Riveting stuff.
Here's the supercut of last night's "Girls' Hollywood week" highlights. Let's inspect it minute by minute and talk about all the ferocious femmes we're torqued about -- and also the disasters that no one seems to acknowledge.

The cutthroat Hollywood Week continued on "American Idol," this time with just girls. That meant one thing: drama!Like the males, the female hopefuls were placed into pre-determined groups. There were divas, dissenters and even some deserters. With only one night to pick a song, choreograph and practice their routines, tensions were highCheck out the 5 can't-miss performances below:1. The SwagettesOne of the few groups to gel early on (and get some much needed rest), this foursome showed some real swagger. Candice Glover, a returning contestant from last year and standout this season, led their strong performance. She's one to watch:2. The DramaticsThis group definitely lived up to their name, when Janel Stinney refused to practice with her group members. Their pre-performance interview showed just how disconnected Janel was, and when she forgot the lyrics, things went from bad to worse.3. All this talk about Beyonce, her performance of the national anthem, and the upcoming Super Bowl is reason enough to revisit the only thing that matters about sports (besides Matthew Modine's sexy mat moves in Vision Quest): bombastic performances of "The Star Spangled Banner." We're all familiar with the Whitney Houston, Marvin Gaye, Jimi Hendrix, and Roseanne versions, but here are seven others that should be elevated to their level of pop culture ubiquity.
7. Marc Anthony
Some of us only think of Marc Anthony as the last man to pop in 1999's "Latin explosion," but his voice is a rich and emotional instrument even when he's crooning the most well-known song of all. Come on, Enrique. Step up to this DNC masterwork.
6. Mary J. Blige
Mary J. isn't always my favorite singer (even if she's always my favorite chicken shiller ), but I have to hand it to her for this gem.

Facts: Britney Spears spent last Friday and Saturday on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California, shooting the commercial for her new Elizabeth Arden fragrance Fantasy Twist. For the shoot, with the help of makeup artist Billy B. Brasfield, the pop star was transformed into a blond Cleopatra and silver-screen icon Jean Harlow.
Rumors: Britney was “robotic and out of it” throughout the shoot, smoking a pack of cigarettes a day, staying huddled up with fiance/manager Jason Trawick and “seemed to be just going through the motions when the camera was rolling, and seemed out of it,” a source told Radar Online.
Wait a second, doesn’t this story sound familiar to you? It’s like every adjective was lifted from a story about a Spears shoot in 2007. So here are the possibilities: 1) The stress of her new X Factor gig is getting to Brit and she’s backsliding into her troubled habits.

Last night's "X Factor" was a two-and-a-half hour blast of flashing lights, thunderous music and spit-fire fast performances and eliminations. Was this "American Gladiator" we were watching? No, it was the first live show of creator Simon Cowell's British import, which made "American Idol" look like Disney by comparison with all of the barbs thrown at each other and instant, ruthless farewells that brought the crop of 17 contestants down to a final 12.

However, in missing Simon Cowell‘s spot-on, musically-inclined criticism on American Idol, the consistent praise that Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, and Adam Levine shower upon the contestants on The Voice becomes quickly irritating. Like Steven “You Nailed It” Tyler on Idol, these judges seem to have not one ounce of constructive criticism for their contestants, as if every one is a showstopper better than the last. Maybe we’re nuts, but the level of talent seems extremely polarized on the show, from polished, exciting performers (see: Nakia, Beverly McClellan, Javier Colon, Vicci Martinez) to “shy” weaklings (Xenia, Dia Frampton). But, at the end of the night, the most annoying thing to hear from these judges is how “unique” these performers are. Look, it’s fine if someone sounds like someone else,...

We learned last night which American Idol contestants will be advancing to the finals. But what I really want to know is: Who will the Top 13 sing with in the finale? Now, we know every year, the Fox series trots out A-list musical acts (like the rumored Bono; Fox is not commenting on whether or not he will really appear on the season 10 finale) to sing alongside a good number of finalists. So now it’s time to create our wish lists: If every member of the Top 13 were to sing with a superstar, which would you choose for them?...

This is it. Tonight, our Top 3 must battle it out to become the Top 2, but their biggest foe is hardly one another. No, tonight is the night that our Idols will be drenched in blood, sweat, and tears tackling the most formidable enemy ever known to American Idol: The Producers’ Pick. Click here for appropriate sound effect. Will Haley Reinhart be slapped with a song from Rio, just as Syesha Mercado was forced to sing a Happy Feet number? Which contestant will be tasked with “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” or “I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing”? (Idol…...

After the "American Idol" travesty that was Pia Toscano getting sent home last week, the Top 6 men and the two girls America has let tag along are singing songs from the movies. The show starts off with a dramatic re-living of the Pia debacle, complete with People's Most Beautiful Person Jennifer Lopez in tears. Oh, the humanity.
So let's see how the cinema songs treated the "American Idol" contestants. Here are the Top 8 Idols, from best to worst:
1. Casey Abrams, "Nature Boy," Nat King Cole, "The Boy With Green Hair"
Casey's rockin' the upright bass and old-timey microphone. This is a very weird choice for this show - at least do the "Moulin Rouge" version. Casey is really chewing his words and notes, it's atonal and strange. It's like Caesy is jamming on stage at a jazz club. $10 will get you $20 Simon would call this "self-indulgent." The viewers will not...

At the end of last week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Ru announced that she was giving the judges a chance to bring back queens that they felt had been axed too soon, so I ran a poll in my post about the episode, asking: “Which queen should return to RuPaul’s Drag Race next week?”
When I last checked the results, Shangela (33 percent), Delta Work (26 percent), and Mariah (12 percent) were leading the way. And somehow, Carmen wasn’t a option in the poll (sorry, maybe that was a subliminal mistake that adds up to who I didn’t want to see back?...

Shall we have a small screen comment diversion? There are two things in particular that are urging this post on. One: Gwyneth Paltrow as "Holly Holiday" wisecracking sexed up substitute teacher on Glee and Raja's increasingly commendable and now movie-spoofing creativity on RuPaul's Drag Race.
Let's take Raja first. Rita Rudner, who was the guest judge and comedy coach for this week's challenge (developing a comedy routine), was worried that people wouldn't have seen Carrie (1976) "I haven't seen it in 40 years" and therefore wouldn't get Raja's references. Oh Rita; the gays have seen Carrie! It's maybe not as obsessively worshipped as Baby Jane but it's up there. Raja came out wearing this.
Raja as Carrie, Raja as Herself
They're all going to laugh at you! (On purpose.)
I don't want to stress how much I love Raja and did long before he started referencing great movies like...

Eccentric pop star Lady GaGa could be preparing for a signature fragrance unlike any the world has ever sniffed. The 24-year-old singer, who shocked many with the meat dress she wore at 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, is reportedly developing her first fragrance, and has a shocking idea about how it should smell.
While other celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift produce sweet-smelling perfumes, the "Bad Romance" hitmaker is pushing the envelope by requesting hers to be reminiscent of bodily fluids. According to Fashionista.com, she wants her new perfume to "smell of blood and semen".
Perfume aside, GaGa is likely to generated more buzz with her music video for single "Born This Way", which reportedly might feature transsexuals. Her makeup artist Billy Brasfield has on Monday, January 24 shared his thought over the hotly anticipated clip through Twitter, and has nothing but praises.

We already know who'll be playing in the Super Bowl on February 6, thanks to the two exciting wins by the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. And we know that the Black Eyed Peas will provide the halftime entertainment, which raises the obvious question: Who'll be singing the national anthem before the sure-to-be-epic battle between two of the NFL's most iconic franchises?
Fox and the NFL announced on Monday (January 24) that the honors will go to none other than Christina Aguilera. Though the diva failed to launch a tour in support of her poorly received studio album Bionic and her big-screen debut in "Burlesque" quickly faded, Aguilera will take to one of the biggest media stages there is when she helps open the big game at Cowboys Stadium in North Texas prior to kickoff.

It's been a while since America has seen Matt Giraud. The Jt-like soul man who was a wild card "American Idol" finalist and recipient of last season's controversial judge's save has been working hard off-the-radar since his fifth-place finish on season eight.
Since his "Idol" run ended, Giraud's been writing songs in Nashville for his debut album, working with such well-known songwriters as Marcus Hummon (Rascal Flatts, Dixie Chicks) and Monty Powell (Keith Urban). "I'm not really going country," he told MTV News last month, "but they appreciate soul down there and I've been playing with them and making great music." So far, he's recorded 15 songs, many of which he co-wrote, and is hoping to amass at least 30 before he starts shopping an album around.

Amid the carnage and genuinely confusing results on Thursday night's (March 11) "American Idol" (Aaron Kelly? Katie Stevens? Paige Miles?!?), two of last year's hopefuls took the stage to lighten the mood with a sunny, dueling-pianos duet.
Matt Giraud and Scott MacIntyre — who just released a brand-new album called Heartstrings — joined forces on an upbeat version of Billy Joel's "Tell Her About It," trading verses and runs up and down the keys. Backed by the "Idol" house band, the duo muscled their way through the song, with Giraud hitting a few falsetto spots, each ripping off rocking, fleet-fingered solos.
The performance earned a standing ovation from the "Idol" crowd, and as Ryan Seacrest approached the two grand pianos,...

The season's first "American Idol" eliminations are in the books, and now Tyler Grady, Janell Wheeler, Ashley Rodriguez and Joe Munoz will have to pursue their dreams of pop stardom on their own. All of the eliminations seemed to make sense (though Tim Urban was arguably worse than Grady) and each one was accompanied by an "Idol" tradition: The exit song.
This season, Will Young's "Leave Right Now" is the tune that will send fallen "Idol" contestants back to the real world. Considering the title and the fact that Young is a former "Pop Idol" winner in the U.K., it's a logical fit (even though it was big on the British charts all the way back in 2003). However, when played over the exit montages last night, it sounded simultaneously harsh and dour, especially considering the chorus: "I think I better leave right now/ Before I fall any deeper...

The "folk/country dance" theme for ice dancing's second night of competition was just asking for trouble. Teams not wanting to play it safe by doing a style representative of their own country — or mainstream, like Spanish Flamenco or Indian — were going to get "creative." The best they could hope for was viewers tuning in and thinking they were watching that scene in The Cutting Edge when the pairs team got tripped up in the lederhosen; the worst would be if viewers stumbled upon the "aboriginal" original dance from Russia's reigning world champions Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin (pictured, left...

It's about time an American Idol winner fronted her own holiday special. Kelly Clarkson's too busy with artistic decisions to pander to Fox viewers, and Kris Allen's aw-shucks grin is too busy being its own holiday (for me), so the next logical step is that girl who kind of implied a hatred of the Dixie Chicks during the Grammys.

She may have become a bit typecast over the last few years with lighthearted romances like “He’s Just Not That Into You,” “The Break-Up” and “Along Came Polly,” but one of the cool things about Jennifer Aniston is that the girl does have a neat little indie streak buried deep inside her. With flicks like “The Good Girl,” “The Iron Giant” and “Office Space,” she has the guts to lend her star power to something different and daring from time to time – and in an upcoming flick, it sounds like she might be singing that tune once again.
