Dish, the hit podcast hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett, will be getting extra social for the festive season as the presenting duo escape the studio and cosy up at Grimmy’s own home, where some special guests have been invited round for Christmas food, drink and laughs.
In a series of episodes, Hugh Bonneville, Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond, and Annie Mac will all settle down for a fireside chat, while Michelin star chef Angela Hartnett cooks and Grimshaw serves up the drinks. The hosts’ warm reception and sense of humour make Dish the most hospitable and social show on the planet.
Dish takes a pioneering approach to turning podcasts into a social event: it’s recorded like a podcast, shot for Instagram and edited for TikTok. As a result, it’s had 20 weeks at number one on Apple’s food podcast chart and is regularly in the top 20 Apple shows.

I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has returned for a brand new series with a fresh bunch of contestants.
The ITV series is taking place in Wales, as opposed to Australia, for the second year running due to the pandemic
Proceedings kicked off last week with a bumper episode that saw broadcaster Richard Madeley and Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge led two teams in the first Bushtucker Trial. Madeley has since been forced to exit the series after he was taken to hospital as a “precaution” due to ill health.
While many viewers usually express sympathy for the contestants as they participate in these challenging trials, it’s worth remembering they’ve been paid good money to be on the show.
So, how much is each celebrity earning for their appearance in the reality series? The full amount haven’t been officially announced, but this year’s highest-paid star...

I’m a Celebrity 2022 is a matter of weeks away, and the first contestants are seemingly being revealed.
This year’s series will be extra special for viewers considering it’s been 20 years since DJ Tony Blackburn was crowned King of the Jungle in the iTV reality show’s first ever run.
To mark the occasion, a selection of ex-contestants are currently filming an All Stars edition of the show in South Africa, which won’t be broadcast until 2023. (Find out who’s rumoured to be taking part here).
Before that, though, there’s the small matter of the main show – and fans are now wondering who will be appearing following the release of a first trailer on ITV on Friday (7 October).
Excitingly, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have confirmed the series will return to the Australian jungle – and a launch date has reportedly been set for Sunday 6 November.
Thanks...

Every year, Strictly Come Dancing brings its yearly spook-fest back to the dance floor.
By now, we’ve seen hundreds of dancers take part in the themed competition week, hoping to impress the judges with routines that are less trick, more treat.
For fans, Halloween is one of the biggest nights in the Strictly calendar. Design-wise, it doesn’t get more extra than this, with the perfect performance featuring a spooky costume and song choice that are well linked together. However, it’s not always easy and we often see a slightly spooky song title pushed together with a random costume that doesn’t exactly make sense or scream Halloween. After all, there are only so many times the show can do the “Monster Mash”.
The best Halloween dances bring all these elements together, from design, to music, to (naturally) the actual dancing. Among this top 10 we have a lot of tangos,...

USA Network is expanding its unscripted programming slate with a series order to wacky water-based competition series Cannonball, based on the hit Talpa format from ITV Entertainment. The network ordered a 10-episode first season for premiere in 2020.
Created by Talpa’s John de Mol, each episode of Cannonball features 16 larger-than-life personalities willing to jump into the deep end and compete in four rounds of physical challenges – from the speed slide Mega-Ramp to a thrilling Drop Tower to the explosive Air Cannon and more. Each round eliminates more hopefuls, until finally one champion remains.
The format for the show is a franchise that originated in the Netherlands by Talpa, which has also been produced in Australia. A British version, hosted by Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff with Frankie Bridge, Radzi Chinyanganya, Ryan Hand and Maya Jama as poolside reporters, aired for one season on ITV. You can watch a trailer for the British series below.

Frankie Bridge has defended Strictly Come Dancing's Jay McGuiness from criticism over his prior dance experience.
The Saturdays singer - who took part on the BBC One show last year and will perform in the upcoming Strictly tour - told Digital Spy at last night's Attitude Awards that someone's attacked over the issue every year.
"They criticise everyone for having dancing experience every year," she noted. "They always try and pick on people at some point - whether they've done dancing or not.
"People like Jay, or me because I was in a band, people go, 'Oh you've done this before'. I hadn't had any ballet training or ballroom training, getting up and dancing around on stage is a bit different. But that criticism comes out every year."
McGuiness and dance partner Aliona Vilani scored the first 10 of the series last weekend with their Pulp Fiction-inspired routine.

4th place to Mark Wright right result phew, I was worried public votes may distort things. Done well overall though #Strictly #Scd #SCDfinal

Mark Wright leaves strictly , but he did so well from knowing nothing about dancing

I was hoping for a Mark Wright double whammy. One for Strictly and one for The Apprentice.

Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer Kevin Clifton has said that former finalist Susanna Reid would take a long time to pick up routines.
The 32-year-old, who is partnering Frankie Bridge this year, said that Reid and Bridge were "complete opposites".
Why Frankie Bridge should win Strictly Come Dancing
Speaking to Digital Spy and others, Clifton said of his two partners: "Susanna - she wouldn't pick up the steps really. But they're sort of complete opposites.
"In training, Susanna would take a long time to pick things up but I'd just have to wind her up and put her on the floor and off she'd go.
"Frankie will pick up the steps quicker, but then we have to talk about the performance a lot and the story of the dance... she takes a little more time to come out of her shell."...

Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly has revealed that she tries to ignore criticism of her performance style.
Daly - who fronts the BBC hit show with Claudia Winkleman - told The Mirror that she often receives compliments from members of the public.
"There is always going to be negative stuff," she said. "In a job this size there will always be contrary opinions to what you're doing. You can't please all the people all the time.
"I tend not to read that stuff and just do the job I love and have been doing for ten years."
Daly added: "When I go out on the street and I meet people they tell me how much they enjoy the show and, 'You and Claudia do a fantastic job together'. I get wonderful feedback face to face every day. I am a positive person so you tend to focus on the positives.

If we're going to pick our Strictly champion on who is technically the best dancer, Mark Wright might as well not turn up on Saturday. The Towie star isn't the best dancer left in the show, and he would never claim to be.
However, Strictly isn't and never has been about finding the dancer with the best fleckerl. If it was, we might as well let the judges pick who goes and stays every week and scrap the public vote altogether. We won't name names, but there might also have been...

Len: "I thought it was bright, it was lively, there was plenty of funk in the trunk... if you'd done that in the Queen Vic, Dot Cotton would have had a heart attack!"
Craig: "It was a bit unruly, sort of drunken explosion of movement... your hips were going full pelt, darling. I felt it was a little bit forced, if I'm being absolutely honest... but the beauty is, my darling, you have a second chance with the second dance."
2. Frankie Bridge and Kevin Clifton's rumba: 7-8-9-10 (34)
Bruno: "I feel like a child on Christmas morning, because it had such innocence and purity. I've done this show for years and years, and I love it when people show me things I haven't seen before... I found it very refreshing, very eye-opening... and absolutely stunning. Thank you."
Darcey: "The interpretation was magic.

Er, good luck, guys.
But what will they be dancing? And which songs have they got? Read on for the full list for the semi-final...
Caroline Flack & Pasha Kovalev
Dance One: Salsa to 'Maria' (Ricky Martin)
Dance Two: Foxtrot to 'Diamonds' (Josef Salvat's version)
Frankie Bridge & Kevin Clifton
Dance One: Argentine Tango to 'The 5th' (David Garrett)
Dance Two: Rumba to 'Somewhere Only We Know' (Lily Allen's version)
Jake Wood & Janette Manrara
Dance One: Viennese Waltz to 'When a Man Loves a Woman' (Percy Sledge)
Dance Two: Cha Cha to 'Boogie Shoes'...
