We're back with another edition of Horror Highlights! Today's installment gives you a tease of The Howling Wind, the official trailer for The Droving, and details on the recent acquisition of Don't Tell a Soul:
The Howling Wind: "During a plagued dust and wind storm, a countryman takes in a weary traveler seeking refuge — but discovers the truth in the circumstances of his arrival."
"The Howling Wind, at its core, depicts how good people can become monsters when their survival is at stake. In the midst of a natural threat outside, the real terror comes from within. Our vision in crafting The Howling Wind was to utilize the classic style and timeless setting of the early 1960s in order to tell a universal story that although shot in early January, presciently reflects present day events."

In 1989, the pitch-black divorce comedy The War of The Roses proved a big hit for Fox, pulling in $160 million worldwide. Now, as we edge closer to the film's 25-year anniversary, producers are pulling together a sequel, which fittingly will focus on the children of the titular battling exes. Variety reports Permut Presentations and Grey Eagle Productions are teaming up to make War of the Roses: The Children, and producers have hired up-and-coming screenwriter Alex McAulay to draft its screenplay. David Permut, Jonathan Adler and Steve Greenwald will serve as producers, while Chris Mangano will exec produce. There's no word yet on who this group is considering for the sequel's director's chair. Though Danny DeVito directed the first, there's no hint as to whether or not he's been approached for its part two. Ben Stiller is in early talks to take a lead role in I Am Chippendales, a movie that Alan Ball wrote and will direct that’s being shopped right now. The Weinstein Company is the favorite to make a deal on the film. It’s an adaptation of the Rodney Sheldon book that sounds like a mix between Magic Mike and Scarface. Chippendales tells the story of Steve Banerjee, an immigrant who went from pumping gas in Culver City to running a high-end nightclub that evolved into Chippendales. As the male-stripper concept became a phenomenon in the 1980s at the height of the women’s lib movement, Banerjee was consumed by excess and competition. After hiring a New York choreographer to polish the all-male dance troupe, he became wildly rich, and just as paranoid. Banerjee hired a hitman to murder the choreographer when negotiations went sour. After being arrested, Banerjee died in jail awaiting trial.
