Because he’s won “The Voice” eight times, Blake Shelton has a lot of different feathers in his cap. Among them is his ability to nurture the budding talents of teenage artists. Among his three artists entering the season 22 finale on Monday and Tuesday night is Brayden Lape, the small town singer from Michigan that was only 15 years old when he auditioned for the show. If Brayden wins, he’d be Team Blake’s third teenager to win and the seventh overall in series history.

Gwen Stefani could not hold back her tears during Monday’s final knockout round on “The Voice”! While she welled up after her own contestants hit the stage, it was while watching her husband Blake Shelton‘s team perform that Gwen really got emotional.
16-year-old Brayden Lape’s performance of “Mercy” by Brett Young spoke to Gwen as a mother, with the fellow coach calling Lape “so sweet” and a “natural” following his moving rendition of the country song.

When a films starts with a simple narrative explaining the movie or what is about to happen, with the text showing on screen, I always have a quick smile. There’s some classic horror that has started this way and I think I mostly remember it from the begining of The Blair Witch Project. Because of that my hopes are always a little higher when I see this, for some reason I forget the dozens, possibly hundreds of movies that I’ve seen with this opening that haven’t been so great. As you’ve probably guessed, Clinton Road starts this way.
Clinton Road has three fairly well known acting names that star.

After a so-so revival last year when ABC took over “American Idol,” most fans are in agreement that the talent on display on Season 17 is a giant leap for singing kind. The show overall seems to be more entertaining. Yes, judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan are never going to be as scathingly funny as Simon Cowell in his snide heyday. But their personalities and musical knowledge complement each other and all three seem quite genuine in their quest to help the contestants to up their games.
Very early in this current edition of the show, the words “best season ever” were uttered. It is all subjective, of course, but with just one more episode and the three-hour finale left, No. 17 could go down in “Idol’ ‘history talent-wise once a winner is crowned. Of course, factoring into that assessment will be the winner’s post-show success as well.

Its platinum sales already prove Brett Young’s heart-tugging “In Case You Didn’t Know” is a piece of music magic. But here’s even more magic: Young had the foresight to bring along two filmmakers to document the hit song’s 2015 writing session – and now People has the video exclusively.
The seven-minute video, which debuted at the song’s No. 1 party in Nashville this week, shows snippets of Young and his three co-writers hammering out the lyrics, as well as the very first time Young put his expressive voice to the chorus that everyone now knows by heart.

We all know Luke Bryan has his signature hip sway, but who knew Thomas Rhett has his own moves, too? Steamy voice or not, Sam Hunt just needs to show up for fans to swoon. And, yeah, Garth Brooks is still untouchable as country’s king.
