After kicking photographer Chelsea Lauren in the face during a concert in Los Angeles on Saturday, Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has issued an apology.
The incident occurred during the band's set at the Kroq Almost Acoustic Christmas in Los Angeles on Saturday, where the band was performing on day one of the event. Lauren was on the side of a walkway that came out from the stage, where Homme made the seemingly unprovoked move.
The photographer posted video of the moment on Instagram, which shows Homme walking forward on stage, playing his guitar during one of the band's songs. When he walk back, Homme kicks his leg out, hitting Lauren's camera and knocking her over.
"Thanks to @joshhomme @queensofthestoneage I now get to spend my night in the ER. Seriously, Who Does That?!?" Lauren wrote on Instagram.

This interview with Colin Hanks about “Eagles of Death Metal: Nos Amis” was conducted for the Race Begins issue of TheWrap’s Oscar magazine. Of the 15 music-themed documentaries that qualified for the Oscars this year, Colin Hanks’ “Eagles of Death Metal: Nos Amis” has particular resonance. Actor-turned-director Hanks followed the American metal band as it returned to play a concert in Paris three months after it had been onstage at the Bataclan club when terrorists raided the venue and killed 89 people. That 2015 terror attack was echoed in the bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester in May and.

Despite major advancements in counter-terrorism since 9/11, Monday’s suicide bombing in Manchester, England, which killed at least 22 people and injured dozens, serves as a stark reminder of just how difficult it is to defend large venues, experts say. Unlike the 2015 Bataclan attack in Paris, where 90 people lost their lives during the Eagles Of Death Metal show, the Manchester bombing occurred just outside the front doors of the Manchester Arena as concertgoers were leaving the venue in droves. “Areas outside the perimeter remain a concern,” Brian Levin, terrorism expert and director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism told TheWrap.

The first season will consist of eight episodes, executive produced by Miller who will continue to voice and puppet the title character.
“In these times? Damn we need a blue ass monster alien to talk about what the heck is going on with humanity. And what is the difference between a hog and a chicken?” Miller said in a statement.
“Through his monster alter ego, ‘Gorburger,’ T.J. Miller will ask the big questions. Then he will confuse us with clarity,” Comedy Central president Kent Alterman added.

Last year it was announced that Rupert Grint was starring and executive producing Crackle’s new series “Snatch.” Now, during the streaming network’s panel at the Television Critics Association, they released the first trailer, which features the actor as the posh con man Charlie Cavendish.
The 10-episode, one-hour series is loosely based on Guy Ritchie’s 2000 comedy of the same name, starring Jason Statham and Brad Pitt. Inspired by a real-life heist in London, the series centers on a group of twenty-something, up-and-coming hustlers who stumble upon a truck load of stolen gold bullion and are suddenly thrust into the high-stakes world of organized crime.

It’s been 14 months since armed gunmen invaded Paris’ Bataclan concert hall on November 13, 2015, killing 89 people during an Eagles Of Death Metal concert. Now, HBO has released the first trailer for its upcoming documentary about the attack and its aftermath, Eagles Of Death Metal: Nos Amis.
Opening with footage of the raucous concert in the moments shortly before the attack began, the trailer is a tense package, highlighting interviews with U2’s Bono and Eagles members Josh Homme and an emotional Jesse Hughes. Hughes has publicly struggled in the wake of the traumatic experience, feuding with the Bataclan over accusations against its security members. (The documentary was apparently filmed three months after the attack, before the worst of Hughes’ disagreements with the venue broke out.) It’s not clear how much of that struggle the documentary will focus on; the general tone (and subtitle, which translates ...

Indie rock band Eagles of Death Metal were in the middle of a sold-out gig at the venue on Nov. 13 last year when terrorists stormed the theater, taking concertgoers hostage and killing 89 people, including the group’s merchandise manager Nick Alexander.
