It’s been almost 15 years since Big Brother 10 premiered on CBS, and it ended up being one of (if not the) best seasons in the reality competition show’s history. Season 10 introduced Dan Gheesling, a Big Brother legend, and it included big personalities such as Keesha Smith, Renny Martyn, and Libra Thompson. Plus, Big Brother 10 featured the oldest houseguest in the show’s history — Jerry MacDonald.

Is “Big Brother” on Netflix? Yes. After being on the air for more than two decades, CBS’s hit reality TV show is finally available to stream on Netflix. However, as of this writing, you can only watch two installments: Season 10, which aired in the summer of 2008, and Season 14, which took place in the summer of 2012. If you’re looking for seasons other than 10 and 14, we suggest you check out Paramount Plus instead, as that streamer has the rights to the entire “Big Brother” catalogue.
Here is how the Netflix platform describes the addictive reality series, which is based on the Dutch program of the same name: “In the ultimate test of strategy and social skills, contestants spend the summer in a house under 24/7 surveillance, vying for a 500,000 prize.” Julie Chen Moonves has hosted the CBS show since Season 1 in 2000 and its iconic motto is “Expect the Unexpected.”

Every year, much is made about the ultimate winner of “Big Brother,” and for good reason as that person played a good enough game to claim the $750,000 grand prize. This title comes with eternal bragging rights and a $50,000 check. For the past week at Gold Derby, “Big Brother 23” fans have been casting their votes for who they want to win America’s Favorite Houseguest and the $50,000 check that comes with it. Three of the 16 houseguests have double-digit support in our recent poll: Tiffany Mitchell in first place, Claire Rehfuss in second place and Derek Xiao in third place. In other words, people who think the popular “Lord of the Latrine” has this thing in the bag may be surprised on finale night. The other players all come in with less than 3% of the vote, suggesting this is indeed a three-way race.

In a complete reversal of last summer’s first three Big Brother evictions — which sent female All-Stars Keesha Smith, Nicole Anthony and Janelle Pierzina out the door all in a row — Season 23 has only booted men so far: Travis, Frenchie and, with a nice side of schadenfreude, Brent.

“Don’t make me ugly cry!” Da’Vonne Rogers told “Big Brother” host Julie Chen Moonves after being named the winner of America’s Favorite Houseguest during the Season 22 finale. “Bb” fans cast nearly one million votes over the past week, with Da’Vonne and Tyler Crispen being their two most-loved players. Last week on “Big Brother 22,” Christmas Abbott became the newest member of the jury thanks to Cody Calafiore, who cast the sole vote to evict. In doing so, he also cemented the final three houseguests of Season 22: Nicole Franzel, Cody and Enzo Palumbo. The last week inside the house will be chock-full of competitions, with the first part of the final Head of Household playing out on Monday night. The winner of this comp will advance automatically to Part 3 (which will air live on finale night), where they’ll face off against the winner of Part 2. So who took the early Hoh lead during the penultimate “BB22” episode?

And then there were three. With the finale of “Big Brother 22” scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, all eyes are now on which player has what it takes to go the distance and win the $500,000 grand prize.
For almost the entire season Cody Calafiore has dominated Gold Derby’s predictions, and he still leads with 53/20 odds to win. Second place goes to Enzo Palumbo with 20/1 odds, followed by Nicole Franzel at 100/1 odds. Do you agree or disagree with the predictions of your fellow fans? There’s still time to make your own picks.

Thursday’s live episode 34 of “Big Brother” will end with the eviction of the unlucky 13th houseguest in the first 10 weeks of the competition. Six men have been sent home to date: Kaysar Ridha (week 4); Ian Terry (week 6); both Kevin Campbell and David Alexander (week 8); and Tyler Crispen (week 9). For the first time in 14 years, “Big Brother” aired an “All-Stars” version that welcomed back former winners, runners-up and fan favorites for a summer of grueling competition. “BB22” was able to happen despite the coronavirus pandemic, as the 16 cast members were all quarantined for two weeks prior to the August 5, 2020 move-in day. The crew of the long-running reality TV show followed all safety regulations to make sure Season 22 went off without a hitch, with Julie Chen Moonves joking she’d been “cleared” to host.

Heading into Wednesday’s Veto episode of “Big Brother,” new Head of Household Cody Calafiore had nominated both Tyler Crispen and Christmas Abbott for eviction. It was a sort of reckoning for the Committee alliance, which dominated the entire season but now must start eating each other. Dude! Things have gotten very bromantic on “Big Brother” after Cody Calafiore, Memphis Garrett, Tyler Crispin and Enzo Palumbo dominated the first four Head of Household competitions of Season 22. “Big Brother’s” Enzo Palumbo, aka the “Meow-Meow,” won his first-ever Head of Household competition this week, which meant he had to nominate two players for eviction. He ultimately chose to put up Kaysar Ridha and Kevin Campbell, but for two very different reasons. Kaysar is Enzo’s true target who he wants to go home this week, while Kevin is essentially a pawn. Either way, Enzo labelled his nominations as “nothing personal” during his speech.

“I put up Kaysar on the block because he’s a main target in this house,” Enzo later explained in a private confessional. “He doesn’t talk any game with me. Big Brother is one of the best shows on TV.
There, I said it.
Something is fascinating about putting a group of people in a house to scheme their way to the top spot.
However, the show has been on a slippery slope for years, with questionable contestants and even more questionable decisions from people who are supposed to be good players.
All-Stars had a lofty task: It had to bring a string of returning players into the fold during a pandemic.
It's surprising the season even got off the ground given what's going on the world right now, and some credit has to be given to producers for pulling off the impossible.
While many thought this was the season the series would get back on the right track, it's quickly shaping up to be one of the worst seasons ever.
Much of the blame has to fall on the casting team.

If you were mad at Memphis Garrett for his comments to David Alexander last week during the nomination ceremony, you might want to think about giving him an apology. David is at the big kids’ table, and oy. He does not belong. He’s already shown he’s a terrible player from his conversations, but he took it to the next level on Tuesday, blowing up two of his allies’ games in the process.
But first, we had to sit through two more excruciating conversations between him and Janelle Pierzina, and him and Kaysar Ridha. Excruciating because of David. Bless Janelle and Kaysar (and everyone) who tries to talk game with him and not lose their damn minds. It’s gotta be frustrating trying to talk to someone, let alone campaign, who makes absolutely no sense and is so inept at the game. This is basically David:

Nicole Anthony was the latest All-Star sent packing from the “Big Brother” house Thursday night after her fellow houseguests voted 10-2 in favor of evicting her over David Alexander. Before leaving the house, Nicole voiced her frustration towards reigning Hoh Memphis Garrett, intimating he was weak for targeting her. But it was Nicole’s inability to figure out who truly had her back that sent her walking out the door to meet host Julie Chen Moonves.
“Last summer you were voted America’s Favorite Houseguest, so you will always have that,” Julie complimented the Season 21 veteran, before questioning her game play in Season 22. Julie reminded Nicole that despite her distrust for them, Janelle Pierzina and Kaysar Ridha had her back throughout the game.

“Big Brother 22” fans on the West Coast were disappointed on Wednesday night when they went to play the new episode on their DVRs. CBS’s reality TV show was delayed approximately 20 minutes by the Democratic National Convention (DNC), which ran long due to speeches by Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris, former President Barack Obama, former Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and more. That means viewers didn’t get to see who won the Veto competition (it was Memphis Garrett) or whether David Alexander or Nicole Anthony were saved (they weren’t).
The bad news is that the same fate is likely to befall Thursday’s all-important live eviction episode. The good news is that there’s an obvious work-around. In addition to recording “Big Brother: All-Stars” at 8:00 p.m. Et/Pt, West Coast fans should adjust their DVR times to also record “Young Sheldon” at 9:00 and “The Unicorn” at 9:30 — just to be safe.

Kevin Campbell became the first “Big Brother” All-Star to dodge eviction on Season 22 when the house sent Keesha Smith packing in a unanimous 13-0 vote during week one. The Chula Vista native should certainly feel more comfortable after that decisive blowout, but somehow I doubt it. Watching him completely unravel throughout the first week in the house was uncomfortable, awkward and left me constantly screaming at the television, “Get it together, Kevin!”
The Season 11 veteran walked into the house poised to win it all, citing life experience and a powerful alter ego by the name of Anita Veto as his new path to victory. Just minutes after “Big Brother’s” Keesha Smith was evicted by a unanimous 13-0 vote over Kevin Campbell, the season’s second Head of Household was crowned: Memphis Garrett. Since Memphis is aligned closely with last week’s Hoh Cody Calafiore, it’s unlikely the house will see a big shakeup this week. Their six-person alliance, dubbed “The Commission,” also includes Christmas Abbott, Tyler Crispen, Dani Briones and Nicole Franzel, so this group will likely all sail through to next week. By the end of the episode, which two houseguests did Memphis nominate for eviction, and who won the Safety Suite competition?
