Formally, she’s Queen Camilla. But for years before, when the 76-year-old was behind closed doors with family, she was known as something else. According to a new royal biography, the queen’s family gave her a cheeky moniker in reference to her current title. While Queen Camilla got a kick out of the nickname, King Charles III reportedly hated it.
Queen Camilla’s family nicknamed her ‘Lorraine’ after a certain French word
In The Making of a King: King Charles III and the Modern Monarchy, author Robert Hardman revealed that before taking the throne alongside her husband of nearly 20 years in 2022, Queen Camilla had a humorous nickname from her family.
Relatives called her “Lorraine” from the French “La Reine,” meaning “the queen,” according to an excerpt published in the Daily Mail. It was a nod to where Queen Camilla was headed in the British royal family and where she now resides.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini isn't impressed with Louis Walsh after he called her "lazy" and "irrelevant" in a recent interview.
The 'I Don't Care' singer thinks Walsh has "some kind of an obsession" with her, and has advised her fellow X Factor judge to use his mouth to "say something positive".
She tweeted: "I am beginning to wonder if Louis has some kind of an obsession with me... I mean this is every year whether I am or am not a part of the show.
"This is the same man asking me what he should say to contestants on our way to the stage bc 'he doesn't know'."
Walsh told Heat: "Cheryl wasn't great last year. She's sometimes lazy and she lacks energy. She needs to give more - she can give so much more. She's irrelevant these days.

Tulisa Contostavlos returned to The X Factor this week to help the last band standing, Stereo Kicks.
As part of this week's Jukebox theme, the former judge was given the responsibility of choosing one of Stereo Kicks' songs for the weekend and picked the Bruno Mars track 'Just the Way You Are'.
However, it seems Contostavlos took her role very seriously, as she was photographed helping out the eight-piece boyband at a London recording studio on Wednesday.
Of course, Contostavlos already knows the boys as she helped their mentor Louis Walsh at Judges' Houses in Bermuda.
And Stereo Kicks should probably listen to her advice, as she mentored Little Mix - the only group ever to win The X Factor.
"I'm proud to be part of the X Factor family and I'm very excited to be involved this year," Contostavlos has said. "I was more than happy...

Anastasia Lohan? Fifty Shades of Grey author E.L. James hit the town in London on Monday, Sept. 15 with party girl Lindsay Lohan. The pair looked rather scandalous, with Lohan wearing lacy black lingerie and James covering her face with a masquerade mask, which was reminiscent of her famed book’s cover. The former child star, 28, posted a picture of herself with the author and celebrity stylist Juliet Angus on Instagram, writing, “Blessed to have such strong, smart, encouraging women in my life. @erikaljames @julietangus.” The trio were attending an AnOther Magazine party inside Lou Lou’s private [...]...

Sharon Osbourne has revealed that she is "ecstatic" to be reunited with fellow X Factor judge Louis Walsh.
The 60-year-old described her return to The X Factor as great fun and praised the chemistry between all four judges.
"I'm ecstatic to be reunited with my little Lou Lou," she explained. "We're all having such fun together, it's a pleasure.
"There's a great chemistry between all four of us, and it feels as though Nicole [Scherzinger] and I have gone full circle as I originally introduced her to the show when she acted as a guest mentor at my Judge's House in 2007."
The manager warned that the competition is tougher than ever this year, as hopefuls return to the "intimate" audition rooms.
"I much prefer the small audition rooms to the arenas; they are far more intimate so you can really get a sense of the artist," Osbourne said.

Continuing to enjoy his time across the pond, George Clooney hit up Lou Lou's nightclub in the Mayfair section of London early Sunday morning (May 26).
Looking dapper in a dark suit paired with a black dress shirt, the "Gravity" hunk mostly avoided the prying eyes of the paparazzi as he arrived back at his vehicle after the full night of fun.
The 52-year-old heartthrob is currently in Europe to film "The Monuments Men" with Cate Blanchett and his buddy Matt Damon.
In addition to his role in the movie, Clooney is also the director of the drama, which is described as follows: "In a race against time, a crew of art historians and museum curators unite to recover renown works of art stolen by Nazis before Hitler destroys them."
"The Monuments Men" arrives in theaters nationwide just in time for the holidays on December 18.

In a sea of beautiful women, Bradley Cooper provided plenty of testosterone-fueled charm at the 2013 Elle Style Awards in London, England tonight (February 11).
The “Silver Linings Playbook” actor flashed his sexy smile for the cameras as he hobnobbed with fellow attendees outside the Savoy prior to the event.
Meanwhile, it seems Bradley had a little too much fun during the Harvey Weinstein post-bafta outing at Lou Lou’s last night (February 10).
Cooper took a liking to actress Alice Eve and before long the alcohol-infused pair began grinding on each other in front of everyone on the dance floor. Atta boy, Bradley!
