The Boys has been collecting cast and crew members from Supernatural like they are Infinity Stones. It started off with showrunner, Eric Kripke, who was the mastermind behind both the series; which was followed by Jim Beaver and Jeffery Dean Morgan, who appeared in the trailer for the fourth season. Ever since Jensen Ackles showed up in the third season of the superhero satire, fans of the hit CW series have wondered when the other half of the Winchester brothers will arrive.

The hit CW series Supernatural was a prestige title for the CW network and spawned multiple seasons exploring the various adventures of the Winchester brothers. The horror/ fantasy series was the breakout project for Erik Kripke, who has gone on to create hit Amazon hits like The Boys and Gen V.

Supernatural spawned a whopping 15 seasons over 15 years. Throughout its history, the show experienced various setbacks along the way but the show always found a way to avoid being shelved or cancelled. As admirable as that may be, it is interesting to think whether the show might have survived the turbulent times that the industry faced these past few years.

Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki were the two stars of the CW show, Supernatural, playing the Winchester brothers. The show ran for 15 seasons, and the fans tuned in religiously to catch the brothers as they fought with a host of demons and monsters.
Both Ackles and Padalecki were the faces of the show, but the former drew crowds, and the show creators knew it. Therefore, when Ackles had to be punched in a particular scene, the actor opposite him was nervous. Ackles, however, was able to immediately put him at ease with a classy response.

Supernatural, by the CW, was one of a kind. As a long-running series, the show had the unique opportunity to flesh out characters and the overarching plot throughout 15 seasons.
The CW show amassed a loyal fanbase over the years, partly due to the stories they got a chance to tell. There was a certain novelty to the show, and the creators rarely veered off this path throughout its run.
Erick Kripke, the show’s creator, utilized the seasons to the best of their abilities, telling the stories that he wanted to. The 22-episode seasons also allowed him and his team to push the limits of their creative boundaries, and they delivered each time. Moreover, he was not above using his love for The X-Files on the show, and Kripke delivered one of its best episodes ever.

Jared Padalecki is giving Supernatural fans some hope that a reunion with Jensen Ackles might come to fruition in the future.
Although there are no concrete plans for the Winchester brothers to reunite, there is willingness to make it happen.
“It’s not that I haven’t seriously considered doing it, my single answer is yes. It’s timing. It’s availability,” Padalecki said in an interview with Collider about a Supernatural reunion.
He continued, “Jensen and I feel so strongly about our show that we had for 15 years together that we don’t wanna just do it, just to do it. We don’t wanna go, ‘Hey, I have two weeks off in June. Let’s go ahead and shoot 10 pages a day, just so we can have some more content.'”

Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. are now into their fifth wild and frightful decade of adventure. Over the years, Scooby-Doo has embarked on some truly bizarre team-ups with characters from the DC Universe, creating some of the most unexpected and entertaining crossovers in animation history.
This isn’t an odd thing – as the likes of Batman: The Animated Series also used to get cameos of its characters in various shows. Similarly, the gang also used to appear in various setups in live action, whether it be the DC Universe, the Star Wars Universe, or even a crossover with real-life superstars, such as WWE athletes, and Hollywood actors.

Barely scratching the surface of their appeal, they proved their wide-ranging appeal when in 2014 they released, Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery, a movie in which the team is flung into a wild-rumpus adventure with WWE superstar John Cena.

Over its 11-season run, "M*A*S*H" earned a reputation for pushing the boundaries of the sitcom format. Amazingly, mainstream audiences generally rolled with this conceptual adventurousness. Indeed, one of the series' most famously experimental episodes, "The Interview", is both a critical and fan favorite. As long as the writers stayed true to the characters, viewers were down for just about anything.
This boldness inspired the show's actors to get in on the fun and conjure up unconventional stories that dug deep into their characters' psyches. Cast members Alan Alda, Mike Farrell, Mary Kay Place, and McLean Stevenson all wrote episodes, many of which were excellent.
But not everyone got their scripts into production and on the air. Gary Burghoff, who played the 4077th's boyish company clerk Corporal "Radar" O'Reilly, had a fascinatingly fanciful idea for an episode that impressed series creator Larry Gelbart. He was hopeful his script would go before cameras,...

After Supernatural wrapped up its fifteen season run back in 2020, the franchise was supposed to live on through the prequel series The Winchesters… but then the show’s home network The CW was taken over by a new management team that came in with the intention of wiping the CW slate clean for the most part. The Winchesters was cancelled after one season, then couldn’t find a new home because it had to be shopped around during the writers strike, when networks and streamers were hesitant to make major pickup decisions. But maybe that’s not the end for Supernatural after all. During an appearance at the Creation Honolulu convention earlier this month, the show’s stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles implied there’s more Winchester action to come. Could we see a Supernatural season 16 someday?

More than 50 years after its premiere, "M*A*S*H" is still one of the most beloved sitcoms of all time. The show became a phenomenon across its 11 seasons and bowed out on a high note with a finale that was watched by millions. The show also became so firmly entrenched in the cultural zeitgeist that decades later, viewers are still curious about the cast and the relationships behind the scenes. There have been some great recent reunions in recent years -- for one, Mike Farrell and Alan Alda read (and then criticized) an AI-written "M*A*S*H" script earlier this year. Unfortunately, several key "M*A*S*H" castmates have passed away over the years, leaving us to remember them through their work and through memories shared by loved ones and costars.

Sitting backstage at a club on the outskirts of Nashville last week, 49 Winchester lead singer/guitarist Isaac Gibson took a moment to collect himself before an intimate showcase at the “Rolling Stone Writers’ Room” presented by George Dickel Bourbon.
“I grew up in a pretty poor, blue-collar Appalachian household, one where you really had to work hard for anything that was worth anything,” Gibson tells Rolling Stone. “It’s that ‘put on your hard hat and let’s get to work’ kind of thing. And we do the same thing...

A couple months ago, Robbie Thompson – showrunner of the Supernatural prequel series The Winchesters – expressed uncertainty as to whether or not his show was going to get a second season now that The CW is being retooled. Now it’s official: The CW has cancelled The Winchesters after just one season.
Kung Fu has also been cancelled after three seasons. The CW provided the following statement to Variety: “As we reimagine the new CW, we had to make some tough programming decisions. We thank our partners at Warner Bros. and the casts and creative teams of Kung Fu and The Winchesters for all their hard work, creativity and dedication.“
The Winchesters‘ chance of continuing appeared to drop in a major way once Mark Pedowitz left as head of the network. Supernatural was already in its sixth season when Pedowitz joined The CW, but he was an established fan who had seen every episode to date.

Paris Hilton is a name that is synonymous with the word “famous.” The heiress to the Hilton hotel empire has been in the spotlight for over two decades, from her infamous reality show to her fragrance and fashion lines.
In 2009, however, she made an unexpected guest appearance on the popular TV series, Supernatural, playing a fictionalized version of herself. Despite her limited acting experience, Hilton impressed the show’s creator, who praised her for being a “hell of a good sport.”
Paris Hilton starred in an episode of ‘Supernatural’
In Supernatural Season 5, Hilton appeared in the fifth episode titled, “Fallen Idols.” In the episode, Sam and Dean Winchester, the show’s protagonists, investigate a case where famous people’s dead bodies are coming back to life and killing their fans. According to IMDb, Hilton played herself, but with a twist. She was a pagan goddess that the Winchester brothers had to defeat.

Set mostly in England, back before it was officially called England — and centuries before Great Britain was so much as a glint in the eye of James I — director Ed Bazalgette’s workmanlike historical epic “The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die” wraps up the events of “The Last Kingdom,” the Netfix drama series based on Bernard Cornwell’s “Saxon Tales” novels. Playing like “Game of Thrones” with more history and fewer dragons, the film opens with several smaller kingdoms, including Northumbria, Mercia and East Anglia, gearing up for a power struggle exacerbated by the recent death of Alfred the Great, king of Wessex, and worsened by the surreptitious attempts of the Danes to sow discord.

The end was in sight for John Wayne when he took the part of aging gunfighter J.B. Books in Don Siegel's 1976 Western "The Shootist." He was only 69, but the quintessential American movie star hadn't been nice to his body. Decades of drinking and smoking had taken their toll. He'd lost a lung and a couple of ribs to cancer in the 1960s, but had evidently been in remission since. Still, his energy was flagging. He'd struggled throughout the filming of "Rooster Coburn," and was being asked to literally hop back on a horse in the elevated altitude of Carson City, Nevada. He had not been diagnosed with a return of the cancer that would kill him three years later, but The Duke looked a deathly shadow of his former, swaggering self.
Culturally, there was a sense that people should celebrate Wayne while he was still around (for those willing...

From Freddy Krueger to Annie Wilkes, iconic villains with memorable backstories are a hallmark of popular horror media, but there’s more than one way to terrify audiences. For example, some horror flicks task viewers with unmasking the mysterious antagonist alongside our main characters in scare-centric whodunit mashups.
And with the continued success of the Scream franchise proving that audiences are hungry for more mystery alongside the traditional blood and guts, we’ve decided to come up with a list recommending six lesser-known whodunit horror flicks for your viewing pleasure.
Since this list is meant to highlight underseen scary movies, we won’t be including more popular whodunits like the original Friday the 13th, Happy Death Day or any of the aforementioned Scream films. However, feel free to comment below with your own favorite whodunit horror flicks if you think we missed a particularly underrated one.

For many years, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles' Sam and Dean Winchester singlehandedly led "Supernatural" as the monster-killing brother duo everyone wanted in their lives. They had many friends and allies come and go — but the two remained the show's leading stars, and everything else revolved around them.
When Misha Collins' Castiel walked in, the show felt truly complete — the actor's performance as the serious yet charming angel and his ability to put the brothers in their place made "Supernatural" a lot more fun. Castiel went on to become a staple of the show, a breakout character, if you will, and remained loved for over a decade. He frequently came across as a character who lacked foresight; he was often clueless, and he didn't understand sarcasm ... or what Sam and Dean were up to most of the time. Castiel slowly adapted to life on Earth, evolving into an irreplaceable member of the Winchester family.

The CW series Supernatural was already in its sixth season when Mark Pedowitz became head of the network, but he was an established fan who had seen every episode to date. And as the series continued through the 15 season run that Pedowitz enabled, the network head was so supportive that Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles – who played monster-hunting brothers Sam and Dean Winchester on the show – came to think of him as “the other Winchester”. Pedowitz was still the head of The CW when the Supernatural prequel series The Winchesters was ordered, but last year Nexstar Media Group acquired a controlling interest in the network and Pedowitz exited his post. The Winchesters‘ first season just finished airing, and showrunner Robbie Thompson told TV Line he’s not sure if there will be a season 2 at The CW now that Pedowitz is gone.

This year is already off to an incredible start for the horror genre, with M3GAN scaring up big time profits in theaters and “The Last of Us” getting set to elevate horror television on HBO.
Much like last week, this second week of 2023 is similarly home to several exciting new horror releases, including the return of Kevin Williamson plus the arrival of a viral horror indie.
Not to mention, this Friday is the first Friday the 13th of 2023!
Here’s all the new horror releasing January 10 – January 13, 2023…
First up, from Ryûhei Kitamura, the director of Midnight Meat Train, comes Lionsgate’s The Price We Pay, which just debuted on VOD this Tuesday and comes to select theaters Friday.
Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild) and Stephen Dorff (Blade) star in The Price We Pay, which looks like a genre fusion of an action-thriller and a slasher movie all in one crazy package.

Back when I was watching "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" weekly, there were few television moments more exciting than when that series would crossover over with its spinoff "Angel." Sadly, once the shows were airing on different networks, the events of Sunnydale barely warranted a mention in Los Angeles, at least until "Buffy" was wrapping up its run, but those episodes were fun when they happened. The CW's Arrowverse later became known for its epic crossovers, which attempted to capture the energy of some of DC Comics' major events.
Across the decades, TV crossovers have ranged from intuitive ("The Flintstones" and "The Jetsons") to truly unexpected ("I Love Lucy" and "Adventures of Superman"). Sure, "Grey's Anatomy" and "Station 19" makes sense, but no one would've anticipated "Bones" and "Family Guy" before it happened. With 15 seasons and more than 300 episodes, "Supernatural" has earned quite the loyal and vocal following. And even though the show officially ended in the fall of 2020, that doesn't mean its diehard fans are any less obsessed with their favorite show and its much-loved characters. Plus, this fall, The CW premiered the "Supernatural" prequel series "The Winchesters," which focuses on Sam and Dean's parents and puts a new twist on the story that so many viewers fell head over heels for. Whether you've followed it from the beginning or started streaming the series on Netflix, it's easy to form a deep bond with the show.

At the start of 2021, we heard that filming was underway on A Night of Horror: Nightmare Radio director Oliver Park’s horror thriller Abyzou, which was said to be “loosely based on a Jewish folk tale”. Five months ago, it was announced that Decal had picked up the U.S. distribution rights to the Millennium Media production and were planning to give the film a theatrical release later this year. Now we know exactly when Decal will be releasing the film – and it’s not going to be before the end of this year, but it’s not too far off. Abyzou, which is now going by the less unique title The Offering, will be reaching theatres in 20+ US Markets on January 13th. It will be available on VOD the same day. In anticipation of this release, a trailer for The Offering has arrived online and can be seen in the embed above.

What happens when the past comes back?
On The Winchesters Season 1 Episode 4, the gang investigates the death of a war veteran and new information revealed about Carlos has John seeing him in a new light.
Meanwhile, Mary and Lata finally get closure after Maggie's death.
Right off the bat, it was such a well-done episode.
This episode gave us more details about John's military background.
And we also got to learn more about Carlos' background as well, which I absolutely loved.
What I also loved is that we got to see two different perspectives of how a veteran may act.
When John and Carlos had to go to group therapy for the case to get some information, Carlos was willing to share his experiences.
Circumstances may be different, but our traumas are the same.
