A few weeks back, Flint rapper Bfb Da Packman dropped Forget Me Not, his first album in three years. Before the release, he heightened fan anticipation when he revealed a Drake collaboration on “Olympic Shit Talkin,” a song that also features a verse from the currently incarcerated Rio Da Yung Og. But just before Forget Me Not dropped, Kendrick Lamar threw shots at Drake on Future and Metro-Boomin’s “Like That,” reshaping fan expectations for the Toronto rapper’s next verse. The season of the very first sign of the zodiac is here, and that’s exactly why being a leader comes so easy for Aries folks.
And that’s no joke, Aries really don’t know what else to be but a boss, CEO or innovator, because they’d rather play by their own rules. They march to the beat of their own drum and rarely ever need anyone to play backup instrumentals. Their charm, playful personality and great sense of humor make up for their impulsiveness and sometimes hot-temper, and there’s absolutely no other sign who will keep it all the way real with you like an Aries does, even if it’s something you don’t want to hear. They tell it like it is, as dishonesty goes against their entire m.o.

Last month, in the heat of the Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion beef, TMZ reported that the cemetery where Megan’s mother Holly Thomas is buried had to bolster security after the location was doxxed on social media by one of Nicki’s fans, collectively known as “Barbz.” Nicki had nothing to do with the threat, but the brazenness was nonetheless regarded as a low point for stan culture and led many to ponder if that depth of celebrity stan-dom was a mental illness in itself.

A security guard at Hollywood’s Dragonfly nightclub was killed early Sunday morning after being brutally beaten by a large mob.
Police are still trying to piece together the details of the incident. Officers responded to the Dragonfly in the 6500 block of Santa Monica Boulevard near Wilcox Avenue around 2 a.m. on reports of a group of 10 people attacking one person.
“The victim was working at this nightclub, and a large group – for unknown reasons – confronted that security guard, causing him to fall into the street,” said LAPD West Bureau Homicide Division Detective Samuel Marullo. “At which time the group advanced and kicked and stomped him to death.”
The investigation is still determining whether the fight began inside the club and spilled onto the street, or started outside.
First responders attempted rescue measures on the security guard. He has only been identified as a male in his 30s.

After more than a year, the Flenory family is back on TV and the cast behind Starz’s “Bmf” tease there’s much more in store for fans to find.
The theme for the coming season is “elevate,” executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson told an audience at the Season 2 premiere at the Tcl Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Thursday night.
That elevation seems to have taken shape on and off the screen, as even Jackson seems to have changed his previous tune about Starz. After announcing his departure from the premium cabler last September and signing a new deal with Lusid Media the following month, Jackson announced he has several new projects dealing with the “Bmf” franchise in the works at Starz.

There is no regional music scene that has flourished the past two years like Michigan rap. And there is no bigger fan of Michigan rap than Lil Yachty. During this period, Yachty has spent a disproportionate amount of time hanging out in the recording studios and gas station parking lots of Detroit and Flint, ingratiating himself amongst the state’s premier street rappers and doing as the locals do — acting playful and dead-serious at the same time, rapping loose on fast beats, forgoing hooks, and stringing together verses out of darkly funny one-liners.

The 2019 edition of the Bet Awards doubled as a celebration of late rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was killed in March outside of his Marathon clothing store in Los Angeles. In honor of the man affectionately known as “Nip,” the carpet was colored blue.
“The marathon continues” was a common refrain on the carpet (as seen on the back of Yg’s jacket) and beyond.
In fact, Hussle performed on the BET Awards just last year. Speaking to Variety, Bet Networks President Scott M. Mills said: “Nipsey is such an important part of our community, in particular the fact that he focused on servicing his community, staying in his community, and trying to uplift the community he was a part of. We see that nature of his really resonated deeply with the African American community and culture. We really wanted to recognize him here in L.A. for the Bet Awards.

Tee Grizzley and Chance the Rapper are rappers built to motivate, even if they get there in vastly different ways. "Your rap career is not over! ... Tonight, the after party to end all after parties." The story takes place during "one wild night", of course. MTV has announced the nominees for the 35th Annual MTV Video Music Awards, which include a few new categories and are missing a couple of others. Just like the MTV Movie and TV Awards, which consolidated the races for Best Male Performance and Best Female Performance into Best Performance in a Show and Best Performance in a Movie, the 2018 VMAs have done away with gendered categories.
Instead, fans can vote online for Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist and many more regardless of sex. Men have a slight majority in the top category, where there are five men and four women represented, counting collaborations. Those Video of the Year nominees are Ariana Grande (“No Tears Left to Cry“), Childish Gambino (“This is America“), Drake (“God’s Plan”), Beyonce and Jay-z (“Apeshit”), Bruno Mars and Cardi B (“Finesse”), and Camila Cabello and...
