Vikings: The Last Act (2020)
Season 6, Episode 20
Not exactly what you'd expect

Warning: Spoilers
Can't believe one of my favourite tv shows is over now. As anyone who followed the series, I was also expecting a pretty dramatic but at the same time satisfying ending of the show. Ending, which would summarise the most important events/results. Unfortunately, this is not the case here.

I don't know what happened, but it really feels like the show died after season 4. Almost seems like the storyline followed the true historic events up until the beginning of S05. After that, it was all just a "oh this would look cool, let's put it in!!"

As for the Season 6 - I can easily say, that if directors replaced the whole oleg/igor/RUS people part/idea with something that would focus more on the main characters and their development, the ending would have been better. Just because we spent so much time with meaningless rus people, it kinda feels the entire season was slow and boring as hell. Apart from that, I also felt like way too many new characters bounced from being "nobody" to "king or queen" in a matter of 1-2 episodes, which developed 0% empathy to those characters and made me loose any interest in what was meant to be a major event!

Also the death of Ivar - as much as I hated him, I still think he did not deserve a death the series presented! That was very, very weak and was not emotional at all.

No information about Rollo. What happened to the guy in Greenland? A witch, wearing a crown in Kattegat... and a slave presented to series for 5 minutes, seating right next to her... really?
