Michael Socha, who played the Knave Of Hearts aka Will Scarlet first on spin-off Once Upon A Time In Wonderland and later on the main show, says there's still a chance his character may return to Storybrooke. "They didn’t kill me," he said. "I get on really well with the writers, Eddie and Adam [Kitsis and Horowitz]."
If he was to return to Once though, Socha told us he'd need "a guarantee though that I’m going to be doing something worthwhile. I don’t want to be doing a job where I’m not doing a job, just sitting around in my flat just bored".

Last week Rob Zombie revealed that his next film, titled 31, will be a crowd-funded project. The film’s official FanBacked page was unveiled, along with a plot synopsis from Zombie and several videos. Now a new piece of concept art from the film has been revealed, and it comes with a brief bio of someone we could see in the movie.
This new production sketch was revealed on 31‘s website and was drawn by artist Alex Horley. The sketch depicts a man named Cletus who looks to have seen better days. Wearing floppy bunny ears, looking through dazed eyes, and standing on wobbly legs, Cletus has “Lover Boy” tattooed on the visible ribcage of his lean frame. Here’s the official description of this lifer of Murder World:

ABC has released more of their new line-up, which includes second seasons for Marvel’s Agents of Shield and a first year pick up for How To Get Away With Murder starring Viola Davis.
ABC's New Pick Ups
ABC announced this week that it would be adding nine new shows to their line-up, including Felicity Huffman’s return to television and another Marvel spinoff.
Marvel’s Agent Carter is a spinoff of Captain America: The First Avenger and will star Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter. The show will pick up in 1946, after the Captain’s death in the first Captain America film, and Agent Carter returns home to a sexist military and life as a double agent. After her dealings with Howard Stark in Captain America: The First Avenger, Agent Carter works as a spy for the Ssr (Strategic Scientific Reserve) for Mr. Stark, aka Iron Man’s father. Whether...

Regardless of my personal feelings toward Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, I can’t fault Once Upon a Time for giving the spinoff idea a chance. There are a lot of fairy tales to milk and only so much time in a single season. Not every story can be told, so why not make two shows and cover twice as much ground? Unfortunately, the spinoff didn’t take off and ABC announced it would not be renewing it for a second season. So long Wonderland; it was almost enjoyable. But there’s a silver lining here! Because this was a spinoff that took place very much within the same universe as its progenitor, there’s room for characters, such as the well-liked Knave, to jump ship.

Though Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is ending its run on ABC tonight, at least one of the show's characters is expected to return next fall.
Michael Socha, who plays Will Scarlet/Knave of Hearts on Wonderland, is set to reprise his character on the regular Once Upon a Time next season. The fantasy drama is down in the ratings but is still the network's fifth-highest rated drama so its not going anywhere. Socha would be a series regular.
EW broke the news and noted that other characters from Wonderland could pop up but there aren't any plans currently.
What do you think? Are Socha and his character a good choice to join Ouat? Who else from Wonderland would you like to see join the series?...

Now the spin-off has been cancelled, Being Human's Michael Socha has joined its parent show, Once Upon A Time...
Once Upon A Time In Wonderland was a punt that didn't pay off for ABC. An Alice-based spin-off of the parent show, Once Upon A Time, it failed to engage its ready-made audience or attract newcomers, hence the network closing the door to Wonderland after thirteen episodes this coming Friday.
Amidst the disappointment though, is good news for one actor: Being Human and This Is England's Michael Socha. Socha played Will Scarlet, aka the Knave Of Hearts in the short-lived Lewis Carroll-inspired series, and will now be joining the parent show as a regular character in its fourth season.
That fourth season is yet to be officially announced, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, it's merely a formality at this stage.

Looks like the Knave of Hearts is returning to Storybrooke! Michael Socha is expected to reprise his spinoff role as Will Scarlet/The Knave of Hearts on “Once Upon a Time” next season, according to EW. ABC confirmed last week they would not be renewing “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.” A fourth season for “Once Upon a Time” has not been officially confirmed, but when the order comes in, Socha is expected to sign on as a series regular. Hot on the heels of the cancelation of "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland," spinoff series star Michael Socha is heading to the original series "Once Upon a Time" as a series regular.
EW reports that if ABC renews the original series -- which is likely, but ABC has yet to make any 2014-15 renewal decisions -- then Socha's Knave of Hearts/Will Scarlet will head to Storybrooke next season.
This is great news, as Socha was the clear breakout star of the spinoff series and will add a twist of sarcastic and charming humor to the ABC fairytale drama. However, since "Once Upon a Time" has not been officially renewed yet, this is not a done deal.
What do you think of Socha's potential crossover? What other "Wonderland" favorites do you want to see head over to Storybrooke? Let us know in the comments below.

Oscar-winning British cinematographer who worked on a wide range of film classics
The Oscar-winning British cinematographer Oswald Morris, who has died aged 98, will be remembered for many classics, including Moulin Rouge, Fiddler on the Roof, Moby Dick and Lolita. He worked with some of the great directors, John Huston, Sidney Lumet, Carol Reed, Stanley Kubrick and Franco Zeffirelli. Many of Morris's films are landmarks in the history of colour cinematography. For Moulin Rouge (1952) he used filters to create a style reminiscent of paintings by Toulouse-Lautrec. For Fiddler on the Roof (1971), which won him an Oscar, he filmed with a silk stocking over the lens to give a sepia effect.
Morris also shot popular favourites such as The Guns of Navarone (1961), Oliver! (1968), The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (1965) and The Man Who Would Be King (1975), and photographed acting luminaries: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Gregory Peck and Humphrey Bogart.

Though he's a actor of many genres, veteran performer Crispin Glover doesn't like to be defined by any single one of them. He's known worldwide, of course, for playing George McFly in Back to the Future, the villainous Thin Man in Charlie's Angels and more recently the Knave of Hearts in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. But whenever he has the opportunity, Glover, who turns 50 next month, marches to the beat of his own drummer. In fact, the film that Glover has declared as his greatest piece of work is a film that probably most people will never get a chance to see because it was shot independently and has never been distributed on video. Co-directed by Glover and David Brothers, the 2007 psychological horror thriller It is Fine! Everything is Fine. has to date only been seen at its Sundance Film Festival premiere, and after that, at Glover's touring...

Mother issues, jewel thieves, and magic dust in this week's episode of Once Upon A Time In Wonderland...
This review contains spoilers.
1.5 Heart of Stone
Never fear, Wonderland fans—a little setback like turning to stone can’t keep the Knave of Hearts from his turn in the spotlight. But even more than the lovable Will, this week focuses on Emma Rigby’s Red Queen, who continues to defy expectations by taking her character to a more complex, emotional level (though her duck face is still really distracting). Unfortunately, these increasingly three-dimensional characters are pasted into a decidedly flat plot.
In flashbacks, Will/Knave and Anastasia/Red Queen are about to leap into Wonderland when they are forced to face off with—surprise!—Anastasia’s mommy issues. You didn’t think we’d get through a Once spinoff without some of those, did you?...

"Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" is back Thursday, Nov. 7 with a new episode after taking a week off with "The Serpent," which star Naveen Andrews teases for Zap2it is going to give viewers some insight into Jafar and what exactly he is after.
In the last episode, it was revealed that the Red Queen and the Knave of Hearts were once Anastasia and Will Scarlet and they were in love. So we have to ask -- does Jafar have a lost love in his background perhaps?
"Yes, he does and you'll see that in the next episode," says Andrews. "In the coming episode, what both [creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis] and I wanted to bring to the audience was a how and a why Jafar ends up the way he does." What sort of things that might have happened to him in childhood -- the idea that everyone has a childhood. He wasn't always evil.

Alice, the beautiful, cunning, and adventurous protagonist in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, is desperately in love with Cyrus. Cyrus is an incredibly handsome man who happens to be a genie. However, Cyrus is locked up in a cage in Jafar's dungeon, leaving Alice alone - almost. Will Scarlett or the Knave of Hearts is her chosen companion on her journey to find Cyrus; the two seem to have some history (albeit, platonic), so I can't help but wonder if Alice is in love with the wrong Mr. Wonderland.

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson and actor/comedian Whoopi Goldberg have each been cast to voice new characters in the Once Upon A Time universe. Already stacked with excellent talent both on screen and in the writing room, the two shows in the shared fantasy universe are constantly upping their game.
Rolling Stone reports that Manson will be voicing Shadow and giving life to “the very essence of Neverland”. If you’re not already familiar with this season’s plot, then you should know that the addition of Manson to the cast is far from the creepiest thing to come out of Once Upon A Time thus far. If the psychotic child character that is Peter Pan and his sadistic band of Lost Boys isn’t enough to make your childhood self wet the bed, then you’ll need to send some rubber sheets back in time by the end of this season.

Kylie notes a marked improvement in this week's episode of Once Upon A Time In Wonderland...
This review contains spoilers.
1.3 Forget Me Not
A little mystery goes a long way. Once Upon a Time in Wonderland proves that in an episode that ramps up the interest level by supplementing its straightforward adventure/romance plot with a tantalizing set of flashbacks about the Knave of Hearts.

A little mystery goes a long way. Once Upon a Time in Wonderland proves that in an episode that ramps up the interest level by supplementing its straightforward adventure/romance plot with a tantalizing set of flashbacks about the Knave of Hearts.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland continued on its magical journey though the looking glass and proved there's more than one way to use a wish this week.
Not to mention that nothing is ever forgotten, thanks to the "Forget Me Knot" in Wonderland.
Apparently there's never been anything petty about Will Scarlet, now known as the Knave of Hearts. He might be a thief at heart but he's always aimed high. As Robin Hood said in this Once Upon a Time in Wonderland quote…
Robin Hood: You'd steal a pitchfork from the devil himself.
Knave of Hearts: And be out of Hell before he realized it was gone. | permalink
Conning Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men to steal gold from evil sorcerer Maleficent so he could swipe a magical looking glass for his girlfriend…that's quite the caper.
Makes grabbing a forget me knot from a Grendel look like child's play.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland continued Alice's bewitching adventure this week, as we were taken through a land where a ferry ride is given by an actual fairy and islands turn out to be turtles in disguise.
But can anyone be trusted in a place where nothing is what it seems?
As Alice said in "Trust Me," there's only one thing to be certain of…
The one thing you can count on in Wonderland is that you can't count on anyone. | permalink
Even the Knave of Hearts, her semi-trusty sidekick, was questionable when he appeared to lack the enthusiasm for the journey to find Alice's one true love, Cyrus.
One of the things I loved about the Knave's cynicism was that it connected Wonderland and the real world. As in this Once Upon a Time in Wonderland quote...
Alice: It's a place called Mimsie Meadows under the towering Tom Tom tree.

Kylie finds the pilot for spin-off Once Upon A Time In Wonderland a little sweet and fluffy for her taste...
This review contains spoilers.
1.1 Down the Rabbit Hole
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is an imaginative, whimsical adventure - the question is how much sticky sweet Mallow Marsh you’re willing to slog through to get to it. In the end, it boils down to this: If you are a romantic, you’ll love Once in Wonderland. If not, expect a lot of eye rolling in between the good parts.
Wonderland tells the story of Alice (Sophie Lowe), the little girl from Lewis Carroll’s classic novels, when she’s grown up. Everyone in Victorian England is convinced she’s insane, so she returns to Wonderland in search of proof and instead of finding it, falls in love with a genie named Cyrus...

One of the things I've always loved about Once Upon a Time is its ability to take characters that we all believe we know so well and give them a completely different twist.
I expected no less from Once Upon a Time in Wonderland - and "Down the Rabbit Hole" it didn't disappoint.
The story began when Alice returned home from her trip down the rabbit hole only to find her father completely distraught. Alice had been gone so long he thought her dead. He was so upset that you'd think he wouldn't mind her crazy stories about talking white rabbits and hookah smoking caterpillars.
But when Alice grew up and continued to insist it was all real, well, there's only one thing a loving father could do: Have her tossed into an asylum.
But let's back up a bit. Apparently Alice spent years jumping back down that rabbit hole...

Read our thoughts on ABC’s ‘Wonder’-ful new series, then give us your review: Did you enjoy your trip down the rabbit hole?
To say that Once Upon A Time In Wonderland is merely a spin-off of ABC’s Sunday night staple would be an understatement. This show is Once Upon A Time on steroids, as evidenced by the Oct. 10 series premiere, which not only introduced us to Alice (Sophie Lowe), but also showed her grow up, fall in love, lose her love, lose her mind, find her mind and embark on a quest to find her love again – all in the first episode.
It’s a lot to handle, I know, so let’s take the premiere piece-by-piece and figure it out together.

If you're a devotee of the works of Lewis Carroll, "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" will probably make you cringe more than once. If, however, you're a fan of the original "Once Upon a Time" -- and of smart, competent female heroes -- you'll probably find a good deal to like in ABC's new series.
The story of a grown-up Alice (Sophie Lowe), who has been haunted by her memories of Wonderland ever since visiting as a little girl, features sumptuous visuals and a couple of strong central performances from Lowe and Michael Socha as the Knave of Hearts. It's a little weaker on the villainous side of things, unfortunately, and its central romance is less than swoon-inducing at the outset. All the better to create a triangle, perhaps.

As author George R. R. Martin observed, "The greatest fools are oftentimes more clever than the men who laugh at them."
To believe in something, to stand for something, can make a man look like a fool to skeptics and sophisticates, but that doesn't worry Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, creators of the hit ABC fairy-tale drama "Once Upon a Time" and now its spinoff, "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland," premiering Thursday, Oct. 10.
In a dark time, Kitsis and Horowitz have staked their claim in the light.

You don’t need to be a fan or even to have seen Once Upon a Time to be able to watch and enjoy Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, which premieres tonight on ABC, but if you are a fan of the original, the spinoff will strike enough familiar chords to be of particular delight to you.
Though you’ll see young Alice briefly, this heroine of this limited series is Alice as a young woman. She has confidence and drive and is great fun to watch and root for, and the villains are all easy to “boo”. The storyline and dialogue are a bit wooden but the acting, particularly of Sophie Lowe as Alice and Emma Rigby as the Red Queen, bring this premiere up several notches. It’s charming and fun, and definitely worth a watch.

When Once Upon a Time in Wonderland begins, Alice (Sophie Lowe) is trapped in a mental institution in Victorian England. She's ready to succumb to her doctor's belief that Wonderland was just in her imagination when her friend, the Knave of Hearts (Michael Socha) comes to rescue her. They begin an adventure back to a place they never thought they'd see again -- Wonderland.

Is this Alice or Alias? Something to ponder while navigating the deluxe rabbit-hole theme-park ride of ABC's Once Upon a Time in Wonderland spinoff (Thursday, 8/7c), in which a feisty and literally kick-ass Alice (Sophie Lowe) battles her way out of insane-asylum confinement with Sydney Bristow-level brio. She even has a Will Tippen-like sidekick in the sheepishly raffish Knave of Hearts (Michael Socha of the British Being Human), who stands by as Alice goes all action heroine.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, there was Alice, an ordinary girl who… kicks butt and tangles with genies?
Yes, ABC’s newest fantasy drama (premiering Thursday at 8/7c) is most definitely not your childhood Wonderland story, given its feisty heroine and the dash of Aladdin thrown in (hello, Jafar!).
From an evil union to a couple that does not hook-up to the familiar faces popping up, here are six things we learned about this latest trip down the rabbit hole, during TVLine’s visit to Wonderland by way of Vancouver, Canada.

One of this season’s most anticipated shows is the ABC Once Upon a Time spinoff, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Set in Victorian England, Alice (Sophie Lowe) returns from Wonderland full of amazing stories about her travels through a land of talking animals and murderous queens, and the love (Cyrus, played by Peter Gadiot) she found along the way. Want to check out a exclusive scene from the Once Upon a Time in Wonderland premiere that drew fan cheers at Comic-Con this summer?
The set-up: Alice (Sophie Lowe) is being held in an Victorian England insane asylum where the doctors are trying to convince her to have “a procedure” that will numb her heartache for her imagined long-lost love Cyrus (Peter Gadiot). Then she gets a message from the Knave of Hearts (Michael Socha) … and then this happens. Wonderland premieres this Thursday at 8 p.m.

It’s that time of year again where the Big 5 networks start to roll out their annual Fall Season of new TV shows. Being lucky enough to preview the new shows being offered, here is a quick take on which of new shows caught our eye and that we recommend you add to your “watch” list this Fall:
Almost Human
Coming from the super-duo J.J. Abrams and J.H. Wyman (who also brought Fringe to the small screen), this new sci-fi series invites viewers to explore life in the near future in the year 2048 where robots and androids are a routine part of everyday life; so much so that they are even paired with human partners in the police force. Starring Star Trek’s Karl Urban and Common Law’s Michael Ealy, they bring an unexpected level of hilarious interaction to a tense drama series about political terrorism and unrest in the future.
