The teenage daughter of actress Angie Harmon was arrested days after her high school graduation. Avery Sehorn, who is also the daughter of retired NFL cornerback Jason Sehorn, allegedly broke into the World Night Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The club owner reported that Sehorn and two 17-year-old boys entered the club through a back door and took $500 worth of alcohol. Avery, 18, was arrested on felony burglary and larceny charges. Her mugshot was taken and released by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Department.

1980s television series Baywatch is getting the reboot treatment at Fox, and here are the details of the new show.
Baywatch is perennialy parodied in mainstream media. Whether it’s the melodramatic scripts or the iconic slow motion running, with the show became a byword for televisual cheese. Perhaps most memorably, it featured as a major plot point in 2006 film Borat, as the title character becomes infatuated with Pamela Anderson. It also formed part of 2019 Disney+ drama Pam And Tommy, which saw Lily James play Anderson as she deals with sexism on the Baywatch set
Nevertheless, the show was and remains hugely popular, launching the global careers of Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff. It followed a group of lifeguards as they patrol the beaches of LA County, and was sold right around the globe.
It ran in its initial form for 241 episodes over eleven seasons from 1989 to 2001, with a spin-off,...

Fox is taking viewers back to the beach with a reboot of an iconic '90s series.
According to a new report from Deadline, the network has joined forces with the indie studio Fremantle to bring David Hasselhoff's beach rescue drama Baywatch back to the small screen.
The remake is being described as an “action-packed” take on the original material, with Lara Olsen serving as showrunner.
It looks as though Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Yasmine Bleeth, and the other stars of the original series are not involved with the reboot at this time.
But we wouldn't be surprised if the Hoff and company wind up making cameos.
Interestingly, the new version of Baywatch is one of two lifeguard dramas set to premiere on Fox in the year to come.
Following strike delays, Rescue: Hi-Surf is set to debut in the fall of 2024.

Slow-motion isn’t just for Zack Snyder films anymore! A Baywatch reboot is in the works at Fox, and the beach will never be the same again! Fox is requesting a sizable script and a penalty deal for the time-honored (and arguably horny) lifeguard drama, with Fremantle and Fox Entertainment co-producing.
We’ve known about a Baywatch reboot since April when Deadline reported Fremantle’s desire to bring fun in the sun back to televisions. At the time, Fox was developing another lifeguard drama, Rescue: Hi-Surf, from John Wells Productions. Rescue, a co-production between Warner Bros. TV and Fox Entertainment, is still going forward, with a fall 2024 launch as the project’s window. Regardless of prepping Rescue: Hi-Surf, Fox is ready to hit the sands with more than one lifeguard drama, hence the Baywatch reboot.

Like the end of a slo-mo music montage on the beach, “Baywatch” reboot has found a home: Fox has closed on a script+penalty deal for a new version of the long-running surf-sand-and-saviors series from Fremantle.
Fox and Fremantle have tapped Lara Olsen (“Spinning Out”) to serve as showrunner for the new “Baywatch,” which was originally created by Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz and Gregory J. Bonann. Starring David Hasselhoff, “Baywatch” originally ran from 1989 to 1999 and then was retooled as “Baywatch: Hawaii” from 1999 to 2001.
Olsen, Berk, Bonann and Schwartz will serve as exec producers on the one-hour drama, which comes from both Fremantle and Fox Entertainment. Here’s the new logline: “Daring ocean rescues, pristine beaches, and iconic red bathing suits are back, along with a whole new generation of Baywatch lifeguards, who navigate complicated, messy personal lives in this action-packed reboot that demonstrates there’s the family you’re born...

Fox is doubling down on lifeguard dramas with a significant script plus penalty commitment to Baywatch, a reboot of the classic beach series. The new iteration is a co-production between Fremantle and Fox Entertainment.
Deadline revealed exclusively last April that Fremantle was working on a Baywatch remake. At the time, Fox already had started conversations with the indie studio for the potential series while also developing another lifeguard drama franchise, Rescue: Hi-Surf, from John Wells Prods. The latter, a co-production between Warner Bros. TV and Fox Entertainment, was subsequently picked up to series for the 2023-24 season; it is now on track for a fall 2024 launch due to strike-related delays.
Meanwhile, Fox remained interested in Baywatch, potentially as a summer series.

In 19 memorable episodes that aired over the course of a dozen years and across two different shows — CBS’ The Good Wife and its streaming spinoff The Good Fight — Carrie Preston played Elsbeth Tascioni, a brilliant lawyer whose eccentric behavior constantly threw off the heroes of those dramas. So naturally, when Preston gets her own series, simply titled Elsbeth, the character is now helping the NYPD solve murders. As one does, right?

Time to suit up and head back to the beach! Deadline reports that Fremantle is developing a reboot of Baywatch, the classic 90s action drama which starred David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, and more.
It’s still early days as no creatives are attached to the Baywatch reboot, but Fremantle has had early talks with networks and streaming services about the project. Gordon T. Dawson, who parlayed a stint as a costumer for Sam Peckinpah into a career as a writer and producer with credits including The Ballad of Cable Hogue, The Rockford Files, Bret Maverick and Walker, Texas Ranger, has died. He was 84.
Dawson died March 6 in West Hills Hospital of complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, his family announced.
A former firefighter, Dawson spent three months in a Columbia Pictures basement using a blowtorch, paraffin and glue to age the principal soldier uniforms for the Peckinpah-directed Major Dundee (1965). When the extras’ costumes did not match the ones Dawson had prepared, Peckinpah shut down production on the first day of shooting.
Dawson was summoned to the set in Mexico to age the other costumes, noting in the 1993 documentary Sam Peckinpah: Man of Iron that he was “terrified” to meet the intimidating director. He needn’t have worried, though; Dawson fixed the other costumes,...

Clem denied Sheridan had taken her own life: “The family has unequivocally confirmed that this is not a suicide. Any suggestion to the contrary is absolutely, 100% unfounded.”

Alright, so according to a new report from Soaps.com,we're about to see Bill plot out a new, big scandal. If this scandal works, it could definitely put him back in the driver's seat at Spencer Publications. This is why Bill is going to needs some very specialized help to pull it off. That's where this new guy Ken will come into play. It's being reported by both Soaps.com and TVinsider.com that Bill is going to hire a tech wiz guy named Ken to hack into the Spencer Publications computer files in an effort to retrieve the incriminating recording that Liam has of Bill confessing to setting the Spectra building on fire. Obviously, if Bill can get his hands on it, Liam would have nothing to continue blackmailing Bill with. That would set the stage for Bill to return and take back his company. The big question...

Twin Peaks Recap is a weekly column by Keith Uhlich covering David Lynch and Mark Frost's limited, 18-episode continuation of the Twin Peaks television series. So that's how David Lynch does an info dump. First, with a cheeky, knowing scene featuring the brothers Horne: "Jerry, what's going on?" asks Ben (Richard Beymer) after his cannabis-infused sibling (David Patrick Kelly) phones him from the woods. "I think I'm high!…I don't know where I am!" Jerry screams, perhaps speaking for a good subsection of the Twin Peaks revival audience, who have, over the six prior installments, been given only glimpses of a larger picture. Narrative momentum comes in asides; the more prevalent longueurs are reserved for atmosphere and mood, for full immersion in apparent stasis.Part 7 shakes things up, following the brotherly freak-out with several story reveals that come in quick succession. But there's a niggling sense throughout all the...

Remember 1995's Baywatch Nights? Oh, we 'member a whole pile of David Hasselhoff-starring strangeness...
This article originally appeared on Den of Geek UK.
For younger readers, the original Baywatch was an action drama that charted the professional and personal lives of county lifeguards in Los Angeles, saving people from drowning but also tackling other seaside perils like sharks, earthquakes and serial killers. The show was almost cancelled after its disappointing first season in 1989, but thanks to the efforts of producer and star David Hasselhoff, it was resuscitated for first-run syndication and found huge international success over the following ten seasons.
The conventional wisdom that brought us 2017's Baywatch film with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, along with so many other reboots, is that something is easier to market if it has already existed in some form than if it's entirely original, and that same logic has applied...

This article originally appeared on Den of Geek UK.
When we look back on Dwayne Johnson's breakthrough to the A-list in about ten years' time (“Did President Johnson get the film roles he deserved?”), we'll have to consider that his status as franchise viagra, as demonstrated in Baywatch, has led him to pick projects that are sort of beneath him.
Baywatch is the latest in a line of formerly popular TV shows to get an ironic Starsky & Hutch-style big screen reboot, following the enormous success of the Jump Street movies and the resounding failure of this year's ChiPS. With tongue firmly in cheek, Johnson has been promoting the film on his Instagram by referring to his new crew of lifeguards, including Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, and Kelly Rohrbach, as...

Even before the first teaser was released, we all had a pretty good idea what we’d be getting from a Baywatch movie led by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson: The same beautiful people and pulse-pounding action of Baywatch the TV series and Baywatch Nights. The new film certainly appears to be delivering on the adrenaline, as all previous previews included the kind of explosions we expect to see in the Rock’s wake. And this latest trailer shows off all the gorgeous beach babes who are first and foremost life-saving professionals. Zac Efron’s character is a brash new arrival who hasn’t quite gotten with the program, which now includes going undercover and hanging out in morgues. But when that necrotic whatever drips right on his face here, you have to feel for the guy.

When television spinoffs go right, they can succeed with flying colours. Just ask Frasier or The Flash, both of which were spawned from perfectly popular series but then managed to outshine their parent shows in most viewers’ hearts (Cheers and Arrow, respectively).
Of course, for every success story there is a spinoff that utterly flops. The acclaim of The X-Files did not follow The Lone Gunmen when they went solo in their short-lived 2001 series, and David Hasselhoff left Baywatch to star in Baywatch Nights, a bizarre mess of a show that combined cop shows with crazy Scooby Doo-like supernatural mysteries. The list goes on.
But what about those spinoffs that never got the chance to prove their worth? Well, this is their story. Read on for eight television spinoff shows that sounded intriguing but unfortunately never happened. Sure, they might not have been that great, but we would have...

The Hoff is back home! David Hasselhoff, 63, was recently spotted filming the new Baywatch movie in Savannah, Ga with cast member Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, 43, almost 16 years after the hit syndicated series that inspired the film ended its 11-season run. The two were seen running down a beach wearing red swim trunks—a signature scene for the franchise. Hasselhoff was shirtless, bare-footed and carried a matching rescue can, while Johnson wore a navy shirt over his trunks, blue sneakers and green sunglasses. Hasselhoff played head lifeguard Mitch Buchannon on the show, on spinoff Baywatch nights in the '90s and in a 2003 TV movie. Johnson takes over his...

“Fuller House” isn’t the only reboot of former ABC sitcom “Full House.” John Stamos, Bob Saget, and Dave Coulier promoted the fictional TV show “Full House Nights” in a sketch on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” “It’s a more updated, gritty ‘Full House’ reboot,” Saget said. Saget, Stamos, and Coulier play roommate detectives who go out in the streets of San Francisco to solve crimes. The bit features the three actors as their “Full House” characters and satirizes the long-forgotten 1990s “Baywatch” spin-off “Baywatch Nights.” Colbert appears as a drug dealer in the sketch. “We know you’re using the girls as your drug mules,” Coulier said in his Bullwinkle voice. “One of them Od’d in the airport.” “Full House Nights” even reimagines the ’90s show’s theme song as a much darker, grimmer tune. Check out the full clip of “Full House Nights” below. Want a career in comedy?...

With the fate of ABC’s Happy Endings decided, it has officially become a member of the “Gone Too Soon” club, TV shows that were snuffed out before they had a chance to flourish … or jump the shark. The club used to be headed by the Holy Trinity of Arrested Development/Freaks & Geeks/Firefly, but Arrested Development has been miraculously resurrected, so let’s put … I don’t know … Pushing Daisies in its place.
While we mourn Happy Endings, let’s take a third trip down TV memory lane. In the first Snuffed Out, we paid tribute to the aforementioned Daisies, as well as Wonderfalls, Nightman, The Book Of Daniel, Popular, The Five Mrs. Buchanans, The Flash, Eerie Indiana, It’s All Relative, Paper Dolls and the newly-resurrected Veronica Mars.

New York, Dec 30: Us actress Angie Harmon believes that David Hasselhoff's 4-year campaign to bring the hit show 'Baywatch' back would result in a huge smash if it had a 'Dallas'-style makeover.
The 40-year-old actress, who starred in show's spinoff, 'Baywatch Nights,' felt that Pamela Anderson, Gena Lee Nolin and Carmen Electra should return to the sandy shores of Malibu, the New York Daily News reported.
But she thinks that the cast should be joined by a host of curvaceous twenty something beauties to appeal to a new generation of fans.
Harmon also reckons that Hasselhoff would get back into tip-top shape given.

Timberlake could join Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff in big screen outing for 90s show, reports suggest
Justin Timberlake is being sought to be the star of a new Baywatch movie, according to reports.
Suggestions that the former boyband singer turned actor could join Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff in a big screen outing for the 90s show appear to have emanated from a report on Twitch last week. They have now been picked up across the web, though there is no word from Timberlake on the matter.
Twitch said Timberlake would play a disgraced former Olympic swimmer who tries out for the Baywatch crew. Hasselhoff and Anderson are both part of producers' plans.

Last month, as the fate of ABC's Gcb hung in the balance, we were worried it would become a member of the "Gone Too Soon" club, TV shows that were snuffed out before they had a chance to flourish, or at least before we had a chance to grow tired of them.
Sadly, Gcb has gone to that big Upn in the sky, where it can run happily in the meadow with the likes of Firefly, Pushing Daisies, and Manimal.
While we mourn Gcb's loss, let's take a look at more shows that were ended too quickly. They were unappreciated at the the time, but they were either too good or too ... interesting ... not to have been offered the opportunity to flourish. Or flame out. Which is just as good.

Cue the slow-motion running! Twitch reports that Paramount is courting singer-actor Justin Timberlake to star in their big screen Baywatch movie. The role is reportedly for a "disgraced former Olympic swimmer who tries out for the Baywatch crew." The series was a '90s television staple and was overhauled in Baywatch Hawaii as well as spinning off a police procedural Baywatch Nights and a reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. In case you were wondering if Hoff (David Hasselhoff) and Pamela Anderson get any screen time, the writer reportedly have cameo roles lined up for the duo should they want to join the new crew. Are you interested in a new Baywatch movie? Who else should run in slow-motion? Follow along on Twitter @DerrickDeane and @Fandango.

Justin Timberlake may be channeling his inner Hoff soon for a big-screen version of Baywatch. Twitch is reporting that the singer-actor is being courted by studio Paramount to play the lead in their adaptation of the Los Angeles County lifeguard TV drama. The series was a 1990's staple, featuring David Hasselhoff and his chest hair, Pamela Anderson and her oft-talked about breasts, and other hard bodies in clingy bathing suits slow-motion running a lot. Should the Social Network star accept the role, he'd be playing a "disgraced former Olympic swimmer who tries out for the Baywatch crew." The show had an overhaul for Baywatch Hawaii, was turned into a spin-off with a police procedural edge for Baywatch Nights, and became a reunion movie on the small screen in...

"Hasselhoff: The Night Stalker" I dubbed “Baywatch Nights” when it aired its fabulously misguided second (and final) season. The “Baywatch” spin-off with lifeguard David Hasselhoff moonlighting as a Pi abruptly transformed into an “X-Files” wannabe with him battling the paranormal.
The results, as you are about to see, were pure trainwreck TV.
Believe it or not, there really was a time when “Baywatch” was the most watched television program in the entire world. Pamela Anderson’s (ahem) buoyancy transcended language barriers worldwide. The primary reason for the show’s global success was obvious to every red-blooded male except perhaps for producer/star David Hasselhoff. I once heard him in an interview try to claim it was the show’s storytelling that kept people coming back week after week and not because internet porn was still a few years away from being at everyone’s fingertips. Perhaps it's the fact that I need to escape the onslaught of "Hunger Games" news. Perhaps it's the fact that I have a slight affinity toward the first "Piranha 3D" movie from 2010 (though, a lot of that has to do with the presence of Adam Scott). Regardless, I don't want to let the new "Piranha 3Dd" red band trailer escape into the ether without truly capturing every morsel of its greatness/awfulness before I quickly forget it even exists. In other words: Whatever! Here's my live blog of the "Piranha 3Dd" red band trailer. :02 I must admit, the actual redness of any red band trailer always freaks me out. Also: define "mature." Because that word means different things, especially if we're talking about the porn industry. :09 So far, just people having a nice time. Hey, imagine if that was the whole movie. Oh, wait, I forgot, that movie...

In 1982, 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star appeared in ABC's 'Poison Arrow' music video. Complete with big hair, lots of makeup and -- yep, you guessed it -- a bow and arrow, Vanderpump plays Samantha.
A video vixen at the age of 22, Vanderpump is now one of the stars of Bravo's hit reality show about wealthy women living in one of America's most famous zip codes. However, ABC's music video wasn't Vanderpump's only acting gig. She also appeared in 'Baywatch Nights' and 'Silk Stalkings.'

"Game of Thrones" hasn't just been one of the best series of the just-finished TV seasons, one that improved week-on-week, but it also proved to be a big hit, increasing its audience by nearly 40% between its premiere and its finale on Sunday. The survivors are set to get going on a second season in July, but it's undoubtedly given a career boost to everyone involved, even those who were gruesomely dispatched across the first season. Jason Momoa, the veteran of "Baywatch Nights" and "Stargate: Atlantis," played savage leader Khal Drogo in the show. We'd been a little skeptical of…...

Remember the terrific The Long Kiss Goodnight? Director Renny Harlin has plans for a sequel, we can exclusively reveal. And Samuel L Jackson is on board...
What's the greatest amnesia action-comedy film of all time? If you said The Long Kiss Goodnight, congratulations. You are now my new best friend. If you said Code Name: The Cleaner, starring Cedric The Entertainer, shame on you. Shame on you.
Fifteen years after Samuel L. Jackson had a whale of a time helping Geena Davis remember she was a stone cold assassin, Renny Harlin has confirmed he's not done yet.
"I am developing a sequel for that," he told us during an interview for the upcoming DVD release of his latest film, 5 Days of War. And there's even more good news. Jackson's Mitch Henessey, one of 90s action cinema's greatest sidekicks, is back.
"Sam is hundred percent committed, he's hundred percent on board,...

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa VanderPump has some advice for the thieves who not only stole her Bentley earlier this year, but totaled it by sending it over a cliff. Sure, she's not happy about it, but not exactly for the reasons you would think. Believe it or not, but she just told E! News… "I don't mind if you stole the car, but then keep it," the Baywatch Nights alum and now restaurateur said. "In this economy, don't drive it off a cliff." Um, Ok. Shortly after the luxury car was stolen on Feb. 5, police found it crashed off of Mulholland Drive, not far from the home she has in a ritzy gated community. "It was annoying...

One of the defining characteristics of that merry band of enterprising tough guys in The A-Team is their all-for-one-and-one-for-all attitude. Apparently, that ethos carries over off of the big screen, too. This morning, EW confirmed that Liam Neeson is in negotiations to replace his A-Team costar Bradley Cooper in the upcoming survival thriller, The Grey (first reported by the Hollywood Reporter). The film is being directed by Joe Carnahan, who directed, you guessed it, The A-Team. The action-packed flick apparently kicks off with a plane crash in Alaska and follows a team of oil drillers as they try to stay alive in the wild,...
