Some images have surfaced online of a movie crew t-shirt for Lucasfilm's upcoming Han Solo movie. On the front of the shirt, we see a log that says "Star Wars: Solo - Crew 2017". On the back of the shirt, it cleverly says, "We shot first".
A lot of websites seem to think that the shirt reveals that the title of the film will be Solo. This is just a crew shirt, I don't think they'd put the actual title of the film on it because there's a big chance that it would leak out... like this. That's something that Lucasfilm and Disney would be smart about hiding. However, It would make complete sense if the title of the film ended up being Han Solo: A Star Wars Story. After all, this is going to be a Han Solo film.

Movie studios tend to be strangely cagey about the titles of their upcoming movies. Oftentimes, us fans find ourselves waiting pretty deep into a film’s productions — sometimes even through some of post-production — before finally getting a title reveal for a film set to hit theaters in a few short months. Perhaps studios are worried that fans will be able to infer all sorts of details from the title, or maybe they’re just trying to find a way to preserve the hype and spread it out over as long a period as possible.
Case in point: the untitled Han Solo film. This is a Star Wars movie we’ve known about for quite some time. Yet despite knowing about it, we have yet to have an official title. However, thanks to some photos of a batch of crew shirts, we may very well know the title…and it’s not that surprising.

You can definitely feel the clock starting to tick down to the release of the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Yes, it’s still a long ways away from its December release, but there seems to be more and more “leaks” as the release date draws nearer. The latest comes in the form of some concept art.
If you’ll recall, not too long ago, we did a piece on a drawings that the folks at Making Star Wars put together of a royal guard of Snoke’s. The drawing was based on descriptions of the design, and it was pretty interesting to see the look they came up with.
The most recent “leak,” however, comes in the form of supposedly legit promo images for some upcoming merch for Star Wars: the Last Jedi. The leak comes courtesy of the Templo Jedia Aztlan, and the images have also been...

Recently we have had a lot of confirmations about Star Wars: The Last Jedi for many of the leaks which have come from Making Star Wars and Star Wars News Net. So when Making Star Wars posts an artist rendering drawing of something they say they've seen, you have to take notice.
Following on from the rumors we posted about Supreme Leader Snoke (Who we now know does wear golden robes in this movie)and the reveal of Snoke's Praetorian Guard, who were described as both similar (red) and different to the Emperors Royal Guard in Return of The Jedi.

Supreme Leader Snoke is, without question, one of the most fearsome beings currently populating Disney’s galaxy far, far away. Brought to life with great menace by the equally great Andy Serkis – Hollywood’s undisputed mo-cap maestro will soon be seen in War For the Planet of the Apes – Snoke adopted an Emperor Palpatine-like role in The Force Awakens two years ago, as the Force-sensitive alien quietly pulled the strings aboard his mobile command post.
And though we’ve yet to see Supreme Leader Snoke in his true, physical form – that looming presence that spent much of The Force Awakens bellowing orders at Kylo Ren and General Hux was merely a hologram, remember – all signs point to Star Wars: The Last Jedi offering more screen time to Andy Serkis’ deeply scarred extra-terrestrial and, in particular, Luke’s quest to find him. That alleged nugget of information was unearthed by Making Star Wars and now,...

Lego sets have a history of spoiling aspects of movies, or revealing details that filmmakers would have preferred to keep hidden. Obviously, due to manufacturing times, often these things have to be ready far in advance of the movie releasing so that when it does, you can go watch the film, then take your child to the shop and buy the various toy sets on your way back home.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is no different, we have already had confirmation of the rumors about Kylo Ren's star ship revealed through a toy listing and now some Lego sets have appeared online which confirm a lot of the rumors and leaks previously revealed by Making Star Wars and shared by us with you.
We cannot post the pictures here as Lego would be most unhappy with that, but you can go here to Reddit and see the images, albeit in low quality.

Though studios will usually pull out all the stops to keep the plot of their big blockbusters under wraps for as long as possible, tie-in merchandise is often responsible for giving audiences a heads up on certain things. Lego sets, in particular, tend to spoil set pieces and minor character details, and these Star Wars: The Last Jedi toys are no different.

Following some new concept art and a few leaked set pics that provided us with our first look at Alden Ehrenreich in costume as the young Han Solo, the guys over at Making Star Wars have come across a video that gives us a quick glimpse of the iconic character’s “podcar,” which he’ll presumably use to get himself from A to B at some point in the currently shooting Star Wars Anthology film.
The video, seen above, was shot at the Fawley Power Station in Southeastern England and although it doesn’t really reveal anything new about the movie’s plot, an onlooker was also on-hand to provide a bit more context for the scene in question:

With each day that passes, our excitement for Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s in-development Han Solo anthology movie builds just that little bit more.
Last week, for instance, the eagle eyes of TMZ uncovered a fleeting glimpse of Alden Ehrenreich as the young nerf-herder. Kitted out in full costume, Ehrenreich was seen in between takes on the film’s Fuerteventura set – aside from the detail in Han Solo’s costume, there admittedly wasn’t much to look at – but over the weekend, Making Star Wars went one step further to relay a fresh wave of pictures from the Fawley Power Station in Hampshire, England.
Disney has reportedly earmarked the location for a future shoot – likely after filming has wrapped on the Canary Islands – and at least based on these photos, Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s anthology film will pay a visit to Han Solo’s homeworld of Corellia.

Thanks to Making Star Wars, we have some additional information on Luke Skywalker and some of the interesting items he'll be traveling with in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I think it's safe to assume that the Luke and Rey aren't going to stay on the island that Luke has been hiding out on through the whole movie. At some point after a bit of training, they will leave the island and embark on a new journey to save the galaxy. That journey may lead him to Supreme Leader Snoke.
On their travels, Luke will have a few items with him to help him. One of these items is described as a marble compass in a box, and apparently, this compass is special. They describe it as being the "most beautiful piece of craftsmanship" in a Star Wars film:
In Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Luke Skywalker has a compass that guides his way.

Luke Skywalker is, without question, one of the most renown and instantly recognizable characters in film history, and Mark Hamill’s Jedi Master has garnered a great aura of power and gravitas since he first left the sun-scorched plains of Tatooine all those years ago.
And though he may have slipped off the radar prior to The Force Awakens, we now know that Skywalker’s self-imposed exile has led him to Ahch-To, the rocky outcrop otherwise known as the First Jedi Temple. He’s not alone, either, with sketches revealing the cutesy alien allies – namely Porgs – that Luke has befriended on the primordial isle. Now, thanks to Making Star Wars, today brings forth new information pertaining to Luke’s equipment as it’ll allegedly appear in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi still has many secrets to reveal to us over the coming months. Not long ago we brought you details of a spy report first revealed by Making Star Wars, and in this report, we described details of Kylo Ren’s new star fighter that he will be using in the upcoming Star Wars flick. I said at the time it was difficult to imagine based on the description, a cross between Tie Interceptor and Vader’s Tie Advanced, but with a pill shaped body and engines like the Millennium Falcon. You never truly know how accurate these spy reports and leaks will be until they are either debunked or confirmed.

One of the biggest takeaways from The Force Awakens in 2015 was the introduction of Kylo Ren, a dark, mercurial warrior brought to life with great menace by the towering Adam Driver. Equipped with an unusual crossguard Lightsaber, Ren possessed all of the malice and fiery rage that was sorely missing from Anakin Skywalker during the Star Wars prequels, and those fans of Driver’s cold, calculating knight can look forward to a similarly mesmerizing performance in this year’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi – albeit with a slightly different facial scar.
Going one step further – a step that takes us square into spoiler territory – Kylo Ren will surely become a much more menacing threat to the Resistance throughout the course of Rian Johnson’s sci-fi sequel. Not only did he slay his father (Han Solo) in cold blood, but he also limped off Starkiller Base after a gruelling battle with Daisy Ridley’s Rey.

Making Star Wars is at it again. This time, the outlet has unearthed a new report concerning an alleged chase scene in Star Wars: The Last Jedi that takes place on the “casino planet” of Canto Blight.
It’s a truly bizarre rumor involving Finn (John Boyega), Rose (Kelly Marie Tran) and some form of space horse called a Falthier. At the risk of treading into spoiler territory too early, though, we should warn you that this purported plot point uncovers a fair chunk of Rian Johnson’s upcoming sci-fi sequel, so if you’re aiming to maintain a clean slate ahead of December 15th – or, at least, the closest approximation of a clean slate one can create in the Internet era – then stop reading now, and for heaven’s sake, don’t look in the direction of Making Star Wars unless you want to know everything and anything relating to The Last Jedi.

Though Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Thor: Ragnarok are currently occupying headlines left, right and center, it won’t be too long before Star Wars: The Last Jedi becomes the talk of the town – if it isn’t already, that is.
Rian Johnson’s sequel has reserved its place at this weekend’s Star Wars Celebration Orlando, and if that wasn’t enough to send the rumor mill into overdrive, we’ve already caught wind of some spoiler-y details pertaining to The Last Jedi‘s inaugural promo. Making Star Wars is largely responsible for collecting all the various morsels of speculation, and the outlet is at it again. This time, today’s report isn’t so much concerned with the first trailer as it is the characters populating Lucasfilm’s sci-fi blockbuster – specifically, Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and Laura Dern’s mystery character and the alleged rivalry between them.

Celebration is almost here, and that means Star Wars is quickly starting to dominate headlines as anticipation and hype for The Last Jedi kicks into overdrive. Of course, it won’t only be the Rian Johnson-directed film that shows up at the event next week, but it will no doubt take up the lion’s share of the attention, and understandably so. After all, Disney’s kept an awfully tight lid on everything – unlike The Force Awakens, which saw some major leaks before it hit theatres – and as such, we really have no idea what to expect from the next chapter in the saga.
That being said, a few small tidbits have started to surface, and while nothing earth shattering has been revealed just yet, we’ll certainly take what we can get at this point. After all, this is Star War we’re talking about here, and while...

Every single Star Wars film has its own list of pressures to overcome. Star Wars: The Force Awakens had to follow up one of the most beloved trilogies of all time, in addition to making up for atrocities created by franchise creator George Lucas in his prequel trilogy. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story had to set the foundation for all other standalone Star Wars stories to come, and was an experiment to see if the films could exist outside of the main saga. So there has been some info on Benicio Del Toro's character recently that has risen up from the depths of the internet, which honestly as I read about it, just asked more questions. The new info gives details to Del Toro's appearance as well as his ship's appearance. Both of which are somewhat at odds with each other.
According to Making Star Wars, Del Toro's characters name or at least on set code name is D.J. He wears all black with a trench coat and Han Solo blaster belt. He is dingy and dirty with short hair and a weird bill-less cap. The report says:
"He belongs in the criminal underworld by the looks of him. The man in black-style character we heard about is certainly there but his style evokes a few things in the design. His trench coat reminds me of Anakin’s Revenge of the Sith...

At one point, fans had resigned themselves to never seeing another new Star Wars movie. The prequel trilogy had run its course, and we thought there was no story left to be told. Then Disney deal was announced. Now with both the first part of a new trilogy in J.J. Abrams’ The Force Awakens and the first of the standalone anthology films in Gareth Edwards Rogue one: A Star Wars Story under our belts, things are really starting to heat up. Both films did exceptionally well with both audiences and critics alike, and made Disney some massive box office numbers in the process.
So it’s fair to say that anticipation for RianJohnson's Episode 8, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is currently at an all-time high. Part of the reason for this is the astounding lack of details that have been leaked at this point.

Ready for another helping of speculative reports regarding Star Wars: The Last Jedi?
Making Star Wars has unearthed another string of rumors pertaining to Rian Johnson’s sci-fi sequel and, specifically, Benicio del Toro’s involvement in it. Up until now, the true identity of del Toro’s character has been cloaked in a thick veil of secrecy – such is the Star Wars way – leading to nine kinds of fan theories about how he factors into the actual story. For instance, does he hail from the dark side of the Force, or the light? If today’s report is anything to go by, it’s actually neither.
Playing a figure known as D.J. – whether this is merely a codename used on set or a genuine nickname is up for question – Making Star Wars alleges del Toro’s mystery character is a bit of a drifter, one who operates in...

Another day, another raft of Star Wars: The Last Jedi rumors to sift through. This latest round of purported tidbits hail from Making Star Wars – often a fairly dependable source for Sw trinkets – and point to “Executioner” type Stormtroopers that will be accompanying Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) and her “killer” new staff, along with a slightly new look for Adam Driver’s mercurial Kylo Ren.
First up, Making Star Wars has posted a sketch of Phasma and her two new allies, both of which come packing an electrified pike – not unlike the one used by Fn-2187 in The Force Awakens. The outlet goes on to suggest that those elite First Order Stormtroopers will crop up in several scenes in the Rian Johnson-directed sequel, but stops short of disclosing any further details regarding story, let alone the context of their involvement.

You can go ahead and add Justin Theroux’s name to the growing list of big-name cameos in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
At least, that’s according to a now-pulled report from Making Star Wars. In it, Theroux was linked to the role of an unnamed “expert slicer” who will enjoy a “pivotal moment” in Rian Johnson’s blockbuster sequel. What’s a slicer, exactly? They’re the computer hackers of the Star Wars universe – tech-savvy operators that specialize in the digital world. Exactly how Justin Theroux’s character factors into the story, though, is up for question, which isn’t all that surprising when you consider just how close Disney has been playing its cards close to the chest. The Star Wars faithful are well used to secrecy, after all.
Either way, Justin Theroux isn’t the only big-name star to lock down a cameo role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi...

Whether they’re storming the beaches of Scarif or laying siege to a Rebel base on Hoth, the Imperial At-at walkers are an iconic cornerstone of the Star Wars universe – but they’re also a vulnerable one. Propped up on four huge bionic legs, the All Terrain Armored Transport vehicles are so often prone to ground attacks and tow-cables; however, if a new report from Making Star Wars holds true, it seems that the First Order have developed a weapon far superior to those old-school At-ATs.
Citing sources close to the production of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the outlet claims Rian Johnson’s sci-fi sequel will introduce viewers to a vehicle known as the First Order Heavy Assault Walker. And no, it’s not exactly the model glimpsed on Starkiller Base; rather, these hulking goliaths are much more heavily armored, with thick mechanical legs capable of withstanding loose rockets and blasters.

On the heels of today’s in-depth trailer breakdown, Making Star Wars has unearthed a small, but intriguing tidbit relating to Star Wars: The Last Jedi and, in particular, Captain Phasma.
Brought to life by Game of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie, the menacing Stormtropper quickly became a fan-favorite following her unveiling in The Force Awakens, when the Star Wars community affectionately christened her character as the “Chrome Trooper.” A badass title for a badass character, if we do say so ourselves, even if Christie’s First Order Commander didn’t get an awful lot of screentime in J.J. Abrams’ franchise revival.
At the very least, fans can take solace in the fact that Captain Phasma will be back, back, back for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and she’s brought a “killer” new weapon along for the ride. Citing a source close to Disney – likely one that attended yesterday’s...

Earlier today, we reported on the revelation of *gasp* Luke’s first words in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I know, it sounds silly, but as much as we hate to admit, fans like us love the little details that can be scraped from the bottom of a barrel. It makes us feel that much closer to the material we’re looking so forward to consuming.
If you wanted to hear a bit more than Luke Skywalker saying “who are you?” then you came to the right place. That wasn’t the only shot, Disney showed off at their shareholders meeting yesterday in Denver, Colorado. Someone got in touch with the folks at /Film and gave them a breakdown of the scenes in the reel. Sadly, there wasn’t much in terms of plot details to be squeezed from the shots, as this was little more than a sizzle reel,...

Every year or so, we seem to come across a new barrage of rumor purporting that we’ll be getting a Blu-ray release of the original, uncut Star Wars trilogy, and each year it’s debunked. Such a rumor made the rounds last week, courtesy of the folks over at Making Star Wars (who, in all fairness, are right a lot of the time). They stated that, in celebration of the 40th year release of the original Star Wars, there would be a release of the unaltered trilogy in various formats. Given the sheer number of times a rumor like this has been covered, we held off on covering it.
Now, a new report from Digital Bits seems to confirm our hunches. Here’s what the outlet had to say regarding their knowledge of what Disney had to work with here.

We don’t know about you, but we love us some good old-fashioned Star Wars rumors. It’s been months since Rogue One: A Star Wars Story first hit theaters, and as such, it’s left us itching for what’s happening next in a galaxy far, far away. Namely, we want to know what’s in store for us in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the eighth chapter in the Skywalker family saga.
From the get-go, this looks to be the most radically different of the series so far in that we begin roughly ten seconds after The Force Awakens. Usually with these films there are months or years in between episodes, and as such, we’ll likely be in for a completely different experience. If the recent rumor from the folks over at Making Star Wars is to be believed, the immediate ramifications of the events in The...

Aside from the odd long lens set photo and a smattering of tantalizing tidbits from the cast and crew, we still know very little about what’s to happen in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. But today a couple more pieces have been added to the puzzle courtesy of Making Star Wars, who claim to have fresh information on the shape of the galaxy following the explosive climax of J.J. Abrams’ The Force Awakens.
First off, it seems that the battle at Starkiller Base has made the First Order known throughout the galaxy. Formerly dismissed as the last vestiges of the dying Empire, people now know that Snoke is actively seeking to conquer their planets and reimpose the nightmare of Imperial rule. Most importantly, however, is that everyone understands that the era of peace that begun with the destruction of the second Death Star has now come to an end.

Every Star Wars fan has been eagerly waiting to see a theatrical rerelease of the unaltered versions of the original Star Wars trilogy. A couple months ago Rogue One director Gareth Edwards said he watched a 4k restoration of Star Wars: A New Hope, so we know that it exists. The question is, does Lucasfilm have plans to release it, and if so, when would that happen?
Making Star Wars is reporting that the unaltered original trilogy could be released this year for the 40th anniversary and that it will be released in various formats. This is just a rumor, and if it's true I imagine that Lucasfilm will make the announcement at Star Wars Celebration next month. The site says:

Some possible new details have surfaced about John Boyega's character, Finn, in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The guy went through quite an ordeal in The Force Awakens, but he'll be back in action and on a mission to help take down the First Order.
The following intel comes from Making Star Wars, who has been pretty reliable when it comes to Star Wars movie news. They have some well-placed sources. If you don't want to know what Finn will be up to in one major part of the story, then I suggest you stop reading now.
That being said, consider this a rumor until anything is released that confirms it.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will apparently feature a First Order Super Star Destroyer that's bigger that any of the other Star Destroyers we've seen in the Star Wars Universe. It's described as being "huge" and a "triangle-shaped wedge.

Ahead of Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ release, concept art and major plot details all found their way online. Star Wars: The Last Jedi, however, hasn’t suffered from anywhere near the same amount of leaks, and outside of a few set photos, we’ve seen literally nothing from the highly anticipated release.
