Wow! Amazing episode

I watch A LOT of television and that might be up there with one of my favorite hours of TV in 2021. If the show can stick the landing with the ending I think it could be one of the 10 best shows of the year.

Marvelous hour of television.

Flashback, bottle episode, dream sequence episodes are often uneeded, not so here. The episode is basically a four person play in an apartment during the end of civilization. Matilda Lawler, my goodness... spectacular. All four of the actors that played the focus of the episode were fantastic, but Ms. Lawler truly shines through. This is, easily, the best episode of the series, I just wish the rest of the episodes weren't so incoherent.

ATCQ Unexpected but appropriate and much needed indeed to keep warm.

Wow! What an episode.

Beautifully crafted, sensitive and involving.

What a Director. And what impeccable taste in music!!!

This is just a perfect exposition of the trance the main character is in at that moment in the narrative.

Just Wow.

This show!

I am messy crying and feeling elated/hopeful at the same time. Having read the book, I wasn't sure how they would turn this into something special. What they have done is a revelation. Absolutely perfect.

Exceptional Television

One of the best hours of television that I've ever seen. I didn't realize it until the end but it was so good that I found myself wrapped in a blanket at the end. I felt the cold. It was that good. 10 stars.

Beautiful music, beautiful show

The 5 minutes of Frank singing "Excursions" brought me the most joy of any five minutes of screentime I can think of in recent memory. Joy amid catastrophe - so beautiful, as was the whole episode.

Interesting but boring at the same time

I can follow the show but I still do not get the point of the show. It seems very meandering in plot and tone yet parts of it are really interestiNg and I still find myself wanting to finish the remaining 3 episodes.

the trip

In some measure, creepy episode. In other, profound useful. It is an episode more about its viewers than about characters. Saved by poetic game of nuances. Defining the relation with the past in terms so desired by many of us.

A nice episode about loneliness and family, survive and vital fights, about dialogue with younger version of yourself and about death. And last goodbye.

Just beautiful.

Warning: Spoilers
A whole episode being a dream sequence came out as Lazy Writing.

I understand it brings depth to the characters but it just doesn't work here. Wet didn't need those silly lines of Kristen talking to herself to understand what's going on in her head. Just show us what happened and let us get our own conclusions.
