We’re only a handful of days into the New Year, but we’re already receiving news of what movies and TV shows will leave Netflix UK in February 2024.
In case you missed it, we’re also keeping track of all of the movies and TV shows leaving Netflix UK in January 2024. If you’re looking for the US removals list, you can find all the departures for those in our February list here.
As a reminder, we typically get word of Netflix removals around 30 days before they’re due to happen. Netflix removes titles because much of its library consists of licensed titles. These licensed titles are essentially rented to Netflix for a fixed period of time, and when that time is up, they’re removed from the platform.

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down in this episode…
Match #1: Steel Cage Match – The Creed Brothers def. The Dyad The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Julius and Brutus Creed are officially reinstated in Nxt after the brother duo defeated Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid and seemingly destroyed the entirety of Schism in the process. Fowler and Reid jumped the Creeds to start the match and Brutus was carried off by masked members of Schism, leaving Julius all along to The Dyad who used their chaotic nature to make the cage their home. Julius managed to hold on long enough for Brutus to return, and the two showed why they belong in Nxt as they hit a dual Brutus Ball and secured their reinstatement to Nxt.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2:...

Match #1: Nxt Tag Team Championships – Tony D’Angelo & Stacks def. The Dyad The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt Tag Team Titles remain with The Family as Tony D’Angelo and Stacks retained their titles against Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid of The Dyad. The leader of Schism, Joe Gacy, brought a host of followers to ringside, but their presence ended up becoming a hindrance as when Ivy Nile arrived, their attention from the match got diverted. As Nile stood at ringside yelling at Schism, two masked followers jumped the barricade and attacked The Dyad, allowing Tony D to hit a modified uranage to pick up the win.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Blair Davenport def. Dana Brooke The following is courtesy of wwe.

Final Fantasy 16 doesn’t feature the build and skill tree systems that we’re used to seeing in most Final Fantasy games. Instead, you’ll be asked to choose between up to nine Eikon abilities spread across three Eikon slots. At first, choosing between those abilities feels like a simple and sometimes obvious process. Once more Eikon options become available, though, you’ll find that it’s actually surprisingly difficult to properly unlock and test all of your abilities. Obviously, that’s why we’re here to help.
Before we get on with these rankings, though, please note that the best abilities in the game can be combo/situation dependant. Some are certainly better than others, but even “lesser” abilities can be useful in certain parts of the game. As such, don’t ignore certain abilities while you’re waiting to unlock better ones. You can always refund an ability and replace it as needed.

Do you remember what you were doing the evening of May 16, 1983? Well, you may have been one of the 47 million people tuned into NBC’s landmark special “Motown 25: Yesterday, Today and Forever.”
It was the star-studded celebration hosted by Emmy nominee Richard Pryor which saw Michael Jackson reuniting with his brothers for a medley of their Jackson 5 hits including “I Want You Back,” “The Love You Save” and “I’ll Be There.”
But it was Jackson’s solo performance of his blockbuster No. 1 hit “Billie Jean” from his breakthrough album “Thriller” which galvanized the audience. It was an electrifying turn where he introduced the fedora, black sequin jacket and glove and his momentous moonwalk routine during the bridge of the song, all of which became his trademarks when performing “Billie Jean.” The New York Times described the routine as “astonishing. He is clearly the heir apparent to the dazzling androgyny...

Sunday night’s emotional “The Last of Us” episode titled “Long Long Time,” which featured the 1970 Linda Ronstadt song of the same name, had fans in tears – and hitting up streaming services to download the song about unrequited love.
In one scene, zombie apocalypse survivor Frank (Murray Bartlett) chooses “The Best of Linda Ronstadt” sheet music to play after being rescued by Bill (Nick Offerman), whose rendition of the song expresses his own loneliness. They then share their first kiss.
On Monday afternoon, the song had hit No. 5 on iTunes’ Top 100 Songs chart. It was written by Gary White and released as a single from her 1970 album “Silk Purse” and peaked at No. 25 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

Once Spike Lee kicked down the door with his 1986 indie sensation "She's Gotta Have It," he made movies at a furious pace, rarely stopping to catch his breath or soak in the moment. The next film was always right on the horizon, ready to go as soon as Lee locked picture on the previous one. What's even more remarkable is that he always found time to direct commercials and music videos in the midst of his filmmaking frenzy. He seems to be slowing down a bit at the age of 65, but I hope it's because he's recharging his batteries for a flurry of activity heading into his 70s and beyond.
Early in his career, when he was generating his own material, it wasn't unheard of for Lee to write the script for his next film while in production on his latest effort. According to cinematographer Ernest Dickerson, this is exactly...

For such a complex and troubling film, Spike Lee's 1989 film "Do The Right Thing" has a simple premise. On the hottest day of the year, in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, tensions escalate to an unbelievable degree. Its citizens' sense of community is fractured over the course of the day as small incidents stack up, gradually building to an unforgettable climax set at a pizzeria that has seen it all. And the imagery that follows is burned into the mind of every viewer -- the heat felt in every sweaty close-up throughout the movie explodes into a fiery intensity.
In some ways, "Do The Right Thing" has a reputation for grit, for telling an honest story set in a predominantly Black American neighborhood, where every racial group has issues with every other racial group. The racial enmity is chaotic, all-encompassing, such that even the most likable characters in the movie express...

The Office alum Rainn Wilson has made a bold move in an attempt to raise climate change awareness as he claims to have changed his name to Rainnfall Heat Wave Extreme Winter Wilson. As the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference is underway in Egypt, Wilson is hoping to add his voice to the discussion about the world’s environmental crisis and the effects of the rapidly warming Arctic region. “With the help of my scientist friends at Arctic Basecamp, I’ve changed my name to Rainnfall Heat Wave Extreme Winter Wilson,” the actor said (via The Hollywood Reporter). “This is not a joke. I’m as serious as the melting Arctic, which amplifies global risks, including extreme weather events around the globe.” Wilson changed his name through the Arctic Basecamp “name-changer” on the website ArcticRiskName.org and encouraged others to do the same. Though, it seemed Wilson went through at least a couple of options,...

With its list of new releases for September 2022, Prime Video is finally unveiling the most anticipated (and expensive) series in the streamer’s history.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will arrive to Prime Video’s servers on Sept. 2, 2022. This Lord of the Rings prequel, set in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Second Age, is in many ways the kind of TV property that Prime Video must have always wanted. It’s certainly the TV property most fitting with the company’s largesse and riches. The Rings of Power will cover the creation of the titular rings and many important events from Tolkien’s lore (condensed into a more TV-appropriate timeframe).
Middle-earth is going to be the happening spot on Amazon and the streaming world at large this month, but Prime Video does have a handful of other originals for the fantasy-phobic. Flight/Risk, a documentary about the Boeing 737 Max design disasters,...

Let’s face it – it’s been hard to be a DC fan. Despite giving the world some of the first and best superhero movies, such as 1978’s Superman, 1989’s Batman, and the Dark Knight trilogy, DC has languished in popularity behind its rival Marvel. While director Zack Snyder certainly has his fans, his run on the three main films in the DC Extended Universe put off some who don’t care for his idiosyncratic style.
The franchise seemed to be settling into a groove by releasing movies only tangentially connected to each other or not connected at all. Recent developments have only complicated things, as new CEO David Zaslav suddenly canceled the nearly-completed Batgirl and left all other movie projects in question, save for Joker: Folie à Deux.
However, it’s clear that not even Zaslav wants this chaos to continue for long. In interviews and announcements, Zaslav has...

If The Vampire Diaries somehow makes a comeback down the line, we can count Kat Graham out.
The star, who played Bonnie Bennett on all eight seasons of the CW's supernatural drama, believes that was long enough.
"I mean, eight years, you know eight years of my life. I feel like I spent more time as a character than I spent as myself," she shared to Entertainment Tonight.
"I'm still that girl that was running around rogue, trying to play gigs and, I finally feel like, with especially all the films that I have – five films out this year, it's my second album I'm dropping this year – I feel like I'm almost playing catch-up in a weird way as an artist.
"I feel like I gave that show, and hopefully the fans that watch it, eight years of my life and poured so much into it and sacrificed a lot of time with my family,...

Los Angeles — “Miss Ronstadt’s line is busy. You’ll have to wait. I gotta check you.” The beefy guard at the front gate of Malibu Colony waits and dials again. Still busy.
Twenty minutes later, the guard gives up and waves me through. “You could be here all day,” he cracks mirthlessly “But listen … if I don’t hear from her within five minutes” … he pauses for effect … “you’ll meet the sheriffs. You don’t want to meet the sheriffs.”
