A huge collection of stars gathered at the Global Citizen Festival in NYC on Saturday night. Among the bunch of performers was Beyoncé, who, instead of performing with Jay Z like she did last year, teamed up with Ed Sheeran for an acoustic rendition of "Drunk in Love." Coldplay, on the other hand, linked with Ariana Grande and sang "Just a Little Bit of Your Heart." In addition to performing, so many stars collided in fun and interesting ways. While Beyoncé, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Pearl Jam will headline the free annual concert, Common and Tori Kelly will join them onstage Sept. 26 in New York's Central Park as special guest performers, it was announced Wednesday.
Also added to the all-star line-up: Katie Holmes, Usher, Connie Britton, Freida Pinto, Gayle King, Laverne Cox and Sophia Bush, who will serve as the host committee.
Last month, Global Citizen announced that Stephen Colbert, Salma Hayek PInault, Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra Lee-Furness, Kerry Washington and Olivia Wilde will appear as the festival's cohosts.
