It's got it all

I haven't had this much fun with a Walking Dead series since the early days of the main show. This episode truly had it all: suspense, cool zombies, emotional scenes, love, the most amazing cinematography, the most perfect song to end the show ever! And, of course, a nice surprise at the end.

Everything about this series is near perfection. The costuming is appropriate & cool & sexy. The set design is stunning. The locations they used are incredibly gorgeous. Everything about the cinematography is well thought out and breathtaking. The lighting they use & weather they utilize or fabricate really adds to the story.

This episode's storyline included a piece of our history with France, and that was very moving and touching. An excellent, special acknowledgment. The connection with Daryl's family and our history with France was nice to see.

The characters & actors are interesting & so talented. Walking Dead has always had a knack for getting us to invest in characters, whether we love them or hate them.

The icing on the cake in this episode for me was the song it ended on. I am a huge old U2 fan and the lyrics and the song they used could not have been any more perfect! (I'm going to go listen to their War album again.) It was a very nice and fun surprise!

I am very excited about the next season and I really hope it doesn't take too long for them to air it. But I wouldn't be surprised if we would have to wait a year!

TWD isn't back, it's even better!
marcelldroidja15 October 2023
Now that Daryl Dixon finished I can officially say that The Walking Dead just reborn. The quality is the finest, the storylines are intriguing and the writing as well as the directing is exceptional. I've been rewatching the main show while following Daryl's adventures and I must say the visuals, the pacing have never been this good yet. As for the character moments and the action scenes, they are just as good or even better. Daryl Dixon introduced a new threat as the season unfolded and it's nothing like the ones we've seen before. The final episode landed greatly and this series made Twd televison's #1 show again. My expectations are high for The Ones Who Live after this. I predict a lot of viewers will be back.

Brilliant!

Warning: Spoilers
Out of all of the spin-offs of The Walking Dead so far, this one has to be my favourite. These 6 episodes have been extremely good and ending the season with the return of Melissa McBride was perfect, it was good to see Carol on our screens again. *chefs kiss* Can't wait to see what happens!

Hopefully it doesn't take too long for season 2, but thankfully we have The Ones Who Live coming to give us our fix for the time being. I sincerely hope all the shows finally merge because that will be incredible to see. Rick has an awful lot to catch up on including the reformed Negan, we need to see that reunion.

P.s I still miss Rosita 😭

"Coming Home" has brilliant writing and direction but it's the cinematography which stands out the most, Norman Reedus is great in this spectacular finale
Holt34416 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The season finale of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is written by Jason Richman & Laura Snow, whilst Daniel Percival directed the episode who are also an executive producer on the show. The episode is titled "Coming Home". It continues where the previous episode left us, with Daryl up against a weaponized walker in a gladiator-like game who Genet and her group "Pouvoir des Vivants" set up. I really like these new kinds of walkers, which have been teased all the way back to the post credit scene in TWD: World Beyond. It was a great action scene, terrifying too. One scene I found really well written and acted were the one Daryl told Isabelle about his grandfather who died on the beach of Normandy (D-Day), a place he visits by the end of the episode, combined makes for a truly memorable scene full of emotion, and a performance you'll remember from Norman Reedus. This episode had some of the finest acting from him and among my favorite episodes which has Daryl Dixon in it, it paints such a good picture of his personality. There were plenty of great performances, Clémence Poésy and Anne Charrier, as Isabelle and Genet respectively. Laurent was actually quite tolerable in this episode, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi did fine, I was surprised. The writing and story for this episode was great, I didn't really find any plot holes or anything like that, simply great writing and characterization.

Genet solidifies her base of power. Daryl has a job to do before he can return to America.

Great establishing shots, the production and art design were fantastic. The mise-en-scene was also quite great, they set up each shot so perfectly and I think the steadicam and the lens choice is perfect for the show. Everything around the filmmaking was great in my opinion. The pacing and editing was great. The set design, costume and makeup department, lightning, composition, and so on. Everything about the filmmaking is spectacular, especially the cinematography and direction, simply perfect. The musical score was terrific!

This was a terrific finale, I think many might have wanted a more action packed episode but that is never what this show has been about, it has always been a slow burner which focuses on character development instead of getting to the next action scene. There was a big action set piece in the beginning and then a couple of smaller ones scattered around here and there, zombie action like human action, also the anticipated showdown between Daryl and Codron. I expected Codron to lose and die by the hands of Daryl, not as brutally killed as how he killed his brother, but killed none the less because of Stéphane Codron's motivation and resentment. What we got was something unexpected, he spared their lives and ultimately saved them. I have always seen him as a morally grey character and here we see it up close, killing children isn't what he signed up for, Codron became much more interesting to me now and might become a very great and important character in the second season. This episode had some truly spectacular writing and direction, loved every scene, especially when they arrived at Mont-Saint-Michel and saw everything there. What a perfect location for a base during the zombie apocalypse, it's a location I really want to visit. Just a super impressive and interesting castle and place.

The next and final season will be called The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol as she returns in a physical appearance in the season finale, we heard her on the radio in the previous episode (the flashback sequence) but here we see her as bad ass as ever. This show did such a better job at world building, writing three dimensional characters, and overall everything else if you would compare it to The Walking Dead: Dead City. I've read how some didn't really like the show and honestly I'm quite sure it'll either be a hit or miss for people story wise, but on the filmmaking side, The Walking Dead have never been this beautiful and in my opinion it was a long time since The Walking Dead felt terrifying and unpredictable. At first, I was quite happy that Angela Kang was the showrunner, but David Zabel was the right choice for the show. Daniel Percival's direction and visual storytelling was top notch. This was an incredible show, I can't wait for season 2.

What a way to end it
henrybug-9488816 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Best episode by far imo. I'm gonna ramble for the word count about how great this was. First of all the variant Walkers are so sick and adding quinn to it made it more intense and interesting. Especially when we know Daryl isn't gonna die. Spoiler warning now ig:

Quinn final moments were hella cool and feel sort of like a call back to Merle (arm cut off could be a stretch). Laurent took 3 seconds to long to kill walker Quinn but it had me at the edge of my seat i cant lie. Than codron killing the men was great for his character and this is skipping forward but the conversation he had with Genet was really cool how we see she started as a normal worker and rose to power I wouldn't complain if we got an episode dedicated to her backstory. Continuing when they made it to the nest the music was once again phenomenal ima look up what the song is afterwards. The nest was made so well and the leader seems hella chill. I love the parrales of his backstory and connecting to him and laurent. Than at the end when laurent was there and the boat even as a viewer I don't know which side I'd want him to pick. Not to mention the whole episode is so pretty, music and cinematography. Than the Carol reveal at the end. I cannot glaze this show/episode enough. As of rn Daryl is the best written twd character imo and I hope they continue this into season 2. Good job amc.

Nice nod to 28 days later!
henderson-7897517 October 2023
Fantastic show, probably the best on TV! It's a pity I had to illegally stream as it not available in Ireland. Love the the nod to 28 days later with the song Paradisum being used. Norman Reedus has definitely proven how good an actor he is and should have been used alot more in the original show. The supporting cast are excellent also. It's also nice to see different directors getting a opportunity other than T. WD usual suspects. Season 2 looks like its also going to be fantastic and it will be nice to see characters from the original show reunited. Hopefully the new the ones who live will be as good.

Episode 6
bobcobb30118 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
We got an interesting scene with Carol that set the stage for the second season, but overall this episode was kind of a mess.

Having the villain just decide to spare Daryl and company at the last second and then vow to not do it next time made no sense.

Daryl killing a thousand zombies with ease on the beach was just an odd visual. We had enough action, we needed some good storytelling here.

I don't know if the show is fixable, but this was such a weak follow-up to The Walking Dead. Dead City at least had a little personality and some shock value. This really never got going off the ground, just my take.

Carol = automatic 10
user495616 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This show has undoubtedly felt like a breath of fresh air for this franchise. As a major TWD fan, I was beyond disappointed in how awful the show become in the last couple seasons- particularly the shockingly terrible 11th season. It was crammed full of boring, useless, and downright insufferable characters- and the lack of plot progression, stakes, or a cohesive overarching narrative was insulting. From the heavy focus on Yumiko (the most irritating and volatile character) and her ridiculous lawyer arc, to that horrendous Eugene detective episode that absolutely nobody asked for, Season 11 had us all scratching our heads as to how TWD lost its signature touch and why it seemed to be marketed towards 11 year olds.

However, the Daryl Dixon show has proven that we still have competent writers and the ability to write real characters again. It feels cinematic, there's a purpose, and the acting and characterization feels genuine for the most part. This last episode really cemented this for me, as I found myself actually getting invested in TWD content for the first time in forever...

And the final scene? Perfection. Carol is by far the best character to ever come out of TWD, and her scene, although short, was incredible and got me even more excited for season 2. The show is only going to get better from here with her addition, and I know she has some great things in store (and maybe if we're lucky, she can tell Laurent to "look at the flowers"....)

Can we just focus on Daryl/Carol please?
pengyuanhuang16 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I was going to rate it 10 because I love Carol's appearance at the end of the episode but that little brat going out risking everything just to make Daryl return to the Nest brought down 1 point. It just seems so pointless and makes me despise that brat even more after so many people died just to get him to the Nest, and he just threw those all away and went after Daryl?! Excuse me? Didn't he see all the walkers there surrounding him and don't tell me he did that on purpose to beg Daryl not to leave.

I understand Daryl staying is crucial for the war awaiting ahead in France but is it really the best arrangement for that scene? The way I see it even if that brat wasn't there, Daryl could still show his struggle with the idea of going home or staying to help.

On top of all that, I'm so annoyed that Isabelle "thought" she knew Daryl and basically forced him to stay by accusing him "repeating the history." Please, have you ever thought about maybe Daryl really wanted to come home? Even if he was running away, he wouldn't have been running away from you guys capiche?

I just wish there will be more Daryl/Carol scenes in the season two and way less of Isabelle/brat scenes please please please.

I just miss Walking Dead...
pavlomir20 October 2023
It is not that this is some kind of extraordinary series or something, I just miss iconic characters like Daryl Dixon. Making a sub story inside the zombie universe helped making this story more enjoyable, one season had enough and plenty of action and drama. I honestly expedited a lot of filler episodes like that one about Isabel's background, but the writers kept it consistent.

The main main evil person reminds of the Disney universe, too plain and simple, powerful lady that can manipulate and torture, yet so powerless to do s$$t.. A lot of local culture and geography, good battles.

Very emotional end, it seems Daryl can be happy for once, not sure if they are going to make a season 2, kinda pointless really.

Abandon little ass-kicker?
BooCoop87 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Daryl contemplating not keeping his promise to Judith doesn't ring true. He deserves happiness but him not getting back to his family of 10+ years for a couple of people he's known a month? Not liking it and not buying it. Great fight scene. I just just waiting for Daryl to shout to the crowd, "Are you not entertained?" Although it was reminiscent of the battle with his brother at Woodbury. Laurent managing to follow Daryl when they needed Daryl to get him anyway was too convenient. They gave Norman some strong actors and characters to play off (which always improves his performance in a scene), and it was nice to see the apocalypse in another scenic country, but I'm done with France. If he stays and it's just more battling with the same enemy, eh.

"If you're lying, I won't be back" Carol
boraboris0819 October 2023
The Walking Dead Universe's most lovely characters Daryl Dixon and Carole. Peletier is like Luke Skywalker and. Princess Leia Organa of The Star Wars.

After all those years The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon augmented the original series to a saga.

Fear The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: World Beyond franchises was something. And Maggie and Negan's The Walking Dead: Dead City is sömething too. But The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is The Mandalorian of The Walking Dead.

Daryl and Carol is the SuperB!! Heros from the good old days where once a hero always a hero and the villian is villian that ever deserves to die.

"I love her, I need her, I seed her Yeah, she turns me on Alright, hold on tight I'm a highway star"

This episode approaches the relationship between characters, while concludes the mission of taking Laurent to the Nest and getting Daryl back home
fernandoschiavi14 May 2024
After Daryl kills the walker, Daryl and Quinn, chained together, kill several enhanced walkers in the arena before Fallou kills the guerrier Genet ordered to shoot them. In the chaos that follows, the group escapes, with a bitten Quinn sacrificing himself to buy Daryl time, but he reanimates, forcing Laurent to put his biological father down with Daryl's encouragement. After going their separate ways from Fallou and Emile, Daryl's group resumes journeying towards Mont-Saint-Michel, but are attacked by Genet's men. Unable to kill a child, Codron shoots the other guerriers instead, promising to get revenge on Daryl later. Upon his return, Genet deduces Codron's betrayal and has him tortured for information. Daryl's group finally reaches the Nest where they settle in.

Daryl becomes conflicted between staying in France and returning to America. Union of Hope leader Losang arranges passage to Newfoundland for Daryl, who chooses to leave despite Isabelle's comparing his abandoning Laurent to Daryl's abandonment by his own father. At the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, Daryl visits the grave of his grandfather, William T. Dixon, who died on D-Day. On Omaha Beach, Daryl prepares to board a boat, but hesitates when he sees Laurent secretly followed him and has a herd of walkers closing in on him. Near Freeport, Maine, Carol searches for Daryl, finding his motorcycle. After Carol captures its hostile rider, he directs Carol to where he found it.

The episode begins with a mysterious scene, showing bodies of American soldiers killed during World War II. Initially, this scene seems to be disconnected from the rest of the episode, but when the end comes, everything makes sense and exposes the bond that Daryl already had with France, and with the mission we have been following during this season, this bond becomes even more intense.

The arena sequence with the protagonist's fight and the variants is definitely one of the best moments of this season, with exceptional direction. The moment when Daryl finishes off the variant using the French flag is visually beautiful, besides the soundtrack and slow motion that make the scene even better. The idea of bringing Quinn and tying the two characters to fight together against 4 variants shows that the series creator did not skimp on creativity. The whole sequence needs no comments because it is so well executed and choreographed.

Perhaps one of the few flaws I have to point out in this episode is the antagonists, who are practically sidelined. Genet, who had been a rising antagonist, here you simply forget that she is in the plot. The ease with which Daryl, Laurent, and Isabelle escape only exposes the weakness of the script in approaching the character, since she has a well-armed army that would never let them escape. Although this point is poorly executed, the episode manages to maintain its quality since its focus was on concluding the mission of taking Laurent to the Nest and getting Daryl back home.

This episode is perhaps the strongest in terms of approaching the relationship between the three main characters, portraying them as a family all the time. Firstly, the evolution of the boy as a character is clear, being willing to kill his father (even though he is a walker) to save his "mother." For someone who had never killed a walker, this scene is emotionally strong. Another scene that serves development is at the Nest, where Daryl is helping to bandage Isabelle, which visually rhymes with the first episode of the series when the protagonist arrives at the Convent. The approach of this entire episode is about bonds and family, and these small scenes further enhance what this journey was for Daryl.

The main focus of this episode is on family. The scene where Codron finally reaches Daryl to get his revenge and gives up when he sees the way the characters protect each other is quite symbolic. When Laurent points at him and says that God loves him, the character undergoes a key turning point and gives up on revenge, as it would lead nowhere. Again, the episode brings a narrative rhyme with what was set in the first episode about Laurent possessing something supernatural. Finally, we arrive at the long-awaited Nest, and what a perfect photograph in addition to satisfying moments. The place is visually beautiful and only highlights how impressively this series has been working on the technical aspects. Initially, I thought it would be just another generic community, but within the subsequent 5 minutes, I quickly changed my mind. The residents of the place are charismatic and give off a vibe of family and concern for each other.

Daryl's transformation and how he became attached to Laurent and Isabelle, which puts him in doubt about returning home, are clear. The final sequence ties in with the opening scene, showing that one of the dead soldiers was Daryl's grandfather. It was certainly one of the most emotional moments of The Walking Dead, Daryl visiting his grandfather's grave and getting emotional breaks the stereotype that the character is tough. This moment also serves to highlight the connections that the character has with France and to put him in conflict about returning to the United States. This sequence made Norman Reedus deliver a very strong performance that deeply moved me. To top it off, Laurent appears just as Daryl is leaving, which leads me to question whether that is real or just a hallucination. It would make a lot of sense for the character to be delirious, as if his conscience is telling him that he needs to stay to protect the family he has made. This does not mean abandoning his family in the United States, as Carol had said on the radio that everyone was okay, leading us to think that Daryl does not need to return urgently. As shown in the previous episode, Daryl had told Carol that he would return in a week, and this clearly did not happen, causing her to go after her friend alone. When Carol sees Daryl's bike being used, she realizes that something is wrong and finally gets clues about his whereabouts, putting her on a collision course with the same group that took Daryl to France.

It is possible to notice this presumption of the show's developers, going through the thematic mixture and the various historical representations they try to compress into the episodes, whether religious, medieval, or revolutionary. It's as if they were trying to do something different, but just throwing everything on the screen without a well-defined direction. After all, we end the debut year without understanding the motivations of the groups, what Laurent's relevance is in this war, and what debates are proposed by the subtext of the production. Carol's cliffhanger is a resource to make us curious about the duo's reunion, but many are totally uninterested in this arc in France, which, in addition to all these problems, maintains the franchise's trend in recent years of offering a product that underutilizes zombies and does not work suspense and horror with due respect. But the final balance of "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon" from AMC is reasonably positive, bringing a refreshment to the franchise. Daryl leaves this series in a completely different way than he entered, presenting more layers and confirming the reasons why he is the most popular of The Walking Dead.

S1.E6 - Great But I Expected More To Be Honest [8/10]
panagiotis199316 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
(S1. E6) My Reaction / Review for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 1 Episode 6 ''Coming Home'': Episode 5 was good and I gave it a rating of 8/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. This is the season finale so i expect greatness. Daryl and Quinn working together to kill the walkers was pretty cool. Quinn is now a walker? That sucks, I liked this character. Daryl has become a father figure for Laurent and I love it. Codron killed all Genet's men? I didn't see that coming, I thought he wanted revenge for what happened to his brother. The Nest has a lot of people and its basically a castle, interesting. Will Daryl actually go back to America? Carol cameo? Hell yeah. Overall a pretty good episode but i expected more, my rating is 8/10.

Beautiful cinematics, sets and touching moments
mm-8949717 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I'm going to start by saying I'm biased, having lived in Paris and Normandy, I knew I was going to love this series, I didn't know what to expect but it was well worth it. When they reached Mont Saint Michel I was delighted to see it feature prominently instead of a whole load of fake meaningless sets or CGI. Ahem Dead City.

I loved the moment where Daryl finds his grandfathers grave in the American cemetary, so many characters had sacrificed themselves in TWD, his grandad didn't have an easier time of it, pre apocalypse. I'm glad we get to see Daryl show some emotions, he has come a long way since the beginning of the TWD. I can't say the same for Dead City, which relied too heavily on CGI and provided little character growth and was too dark.

Some things I thought were a bit weird, the fact that nearly everyone speaks in a great American accent, in reality the French don't like and are ashamed to speak English. We get a tour of the most iconic parts of France as if it were a holiday, Eiffel tower, Catacombes, Mont Saint Michel etc.. not complaining just felt a bit cheesy at times.

TLDR, beautiful sets in the most beautiful French monument, touching, top quality lighting + character progression.

The Nest and the Way Home
claudio_carvalho11 February 2024
Daryl destroys Genet's experiment with walkers in the arena, and then he is chained to Quinn, and they need to fight several hybrids to survive. They succeed and when Genet's Guerriers are ready to shoot them, Fallou Boukar and his men save them. Dary and Quinn flee, but Daryl notes that he was wounded by a walker. Quinn makes an ultimate sacrifice for saving Isabelle and Daryl finds Isabelle and Laurent. They travel with Sylvie using an old truck to the Nest. However, the car stops and while Daryl is fixing the truck, Stéphane Codron and four Guerriers arrive but a miracle happens. They reach the Nest and Losang arranges a boat to take Daryl back to United States. However, something happens, and Daryl now has to take a decision.

"Coming Home" is another almost excellent episode of "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon". Again, Laurent is responsible for this downgrade. The attitude of Stéphane Codron surprises and is a great twist in the show. The cameo of Carol in the end of the episode seems to indicate that she will participate in the next season. Probably, Daryl will stay in France to resolve the situation with the evil Genet. My vote is eight.

A Rushed Episode That Had Its Moments
justdan202316 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
After the cliffhanger last episode, I found the fight between Daryl and the walker in the beginning of the episode a bit underwhelming. Like, Daryl struggles but only a little, and he still manages to kill the walker that quick. Maybe an extended fight for about five, six minutes. But oh well, what's done is done.

And the writing is a bit messy too. First, we have Laurent being an idiot for trying to attack the armed guards under the reason that it would be what "Daryl would do", but dude, you're just a kid, and you're not experienced enough to be reckless.

And then we have Lauren's first kill I guess. Issabelle is really annoying in this scene. After being with Daryl for so long, you ought to think that she learned a thing or two from Daryl, but noooo, she can't even kill a single walker. Maybe the reason is that the walker is Quint, she can't bear to kill him? But the directing does not seem to be implying that. Or I might just be blind. I really thought we'd get a major character development for Issa, and it appears they gave it to Laurent. And even then they messed that up. The directing is really awful. No creative shots, no shots that build up tension when Quint attacked Issa, none that show Laurent's extreme hesitancy (which is the key point to his character during the scene!)

Thirdly, after they got out and when the French group ambushed Daryl and the others, there are two things I want to point out. One is that Issa looks too casual in the scene, like her face shows fear, but her body language doesn't. And two, she gets stabbed shortly after that... And there are NO CONSEQUENCES? What's the point of stabbing her if she survives anyway? At least why not dive a bit into her painful experience, which could've set up a potential character development. Like what the hell dude? All those potential interactions thrown away like that.

However, there are some good things about this episode. The theme of this episode is really poetic. Home. They found home at the Nest, then Daryl wants to go back home to Alexandria, which then ties back to his grandfather's backstory about failing to go back home to his family during the war, and honestly, I find that theme very impactful.

While earlier I say the directing is awful, I can say that it is hauntingly beautiful during the scene when Daryl reached the cemetery where he found his grandfather's grave. The reveal to the headstones on the ground, and the wind blowing along with the soundtrack in the background just sent chills. And bravo to Norman Reedus for his amazing acting.

And also yay, Carol! Great to see her again.

And that implies she might appear in season 2, who knows?

So this episode to me caught up well at the end, and at least a solid conclusion to the season. Speaking of which the season itself has been mostly greatly, and I absolutely love it, and I can't wait to see what they have in store for next season.

The whole show is an insult to TWD fanbase
TheOriginalPacman13 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
As I veteran TWD fan, I had a really hard time watching season 1.

I hoped on the way that it will get better but it didn't.

The whole season has issues but I will point only the ones in the finale: 1) The nun got stabbed and she can walk really slow but lets burn our ride and go on foot the 1 day walk and why they waited for nightfall to do it?

2) When daryl came back to the fortress to get the nun and the kid, what are the chances that they would meet? And how they overcome the steel door that separated them?

3) The zombies in the fight arena, how hard it took them to setup the first zombie but then they placed 4 at once in a miraculous way without us seeing or hearing anything?

4) The crowd cheering at the arena, except of course the few that came to make trouble but nobody would notice that they are the only ones not cheering, yeh.

5) The "heal the world" crowd waiting for Daryl's ppl, from all religions and from all over the world, I came to tears at that scene, really ;) Why the hell they waited for them to reach the door when clearly they had a wounded woman with them (There is a clear eyesight to each direction for miles...)?

6) Daryl peeling potatoes?!?!? Really? What would Rick would say?

Oh please no; don't come to the Mont St Michel
fanou-987034 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The nest is the new hype place to visit for the TWD fanbase; at least I am sure it will become.

So please avoid.

The new reunited family arrive at the nest and is welcomed like heroes. It is not difficult to see the multireligious theme of the episode. See, we can all leave together in piece even if we are praying differently a same god (old testament of course).

What could have ended well (Daryl leaving) is stop once again by a kid. How the hell did he managed to survive and follow Daryl.

So as his granpa', Daryl decide to fight the war in another country (we have learned that a season 2 is coming and likely a Third as a new caracter - Carol- is joining the show ).

So it is clear that Season 2 will have two axes (daryl parenting and carol trying a way to go to France) before the final season three leading to the reunion of the two main caracters (please make a baby).

If you still had doubts about TWD surviving after 10 years, now you know the answer: it hasn't.
