Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • There is a mild kiss between two female characters
  • The Master implies that he has an erection when Missy intensely confronts him

Violence & Gore

  • The Doctor is hit several times and knocked out by both Missy and the Master at the beginning of the episode. When he regains consciousness later, he has a small wound with blood trickle on his forehead, which is seen up until they escape the Cybermen. Nothing major but still noteworthy considering how little blood we see in Doctor Who.
  • The Doctor is unexpectedly grabbed and brutally electrocuted by a Cyberman. Electricity courses through his body as he gasps in pain before he is rescued by Bill.
  • Towards the end of the episode, the Doctor blows up multiple Cybermen by triggering explosives with his Sonic Screwdriver before being repeatedly zapped by the Cybermen and eventually blowing up the entire area, sacrificing himself in the process. He is later seen dead with scorched skin and numerous small cuts. While he does come back to life later, it's still a surprisingly violent and intense moment.
  • Missy stabs the Master with a concealed blade (very briefly seen blood stained) under the pretense of a hug, who then zaps Missy in retaliation with his Laser Screwdriver. Her body is radiated in a painful sounding glow before she falls to the ground and seems to apparently die shortly after. Very grim considering they're both the same person.
