Some Marvel characters have led the cinematic universe into becoming one of the most lucrative franchises in the history of Hollywood, such as Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor. Other heroes are usually suited for solo ventures or the small screen, catering to a narrower audience that craves something a little more specific.

The Punisher is one such character, receiving two unrelated solo films before getting rebooted a third time in the MCU with Netlfix’s Daredevil. While The Punisher has not shied away from violence in any of his live-action depictions, Ray Stevenson was keenly aware of how he wanted to portray his version of the character in a film, in a story that was otherwise concerned with a lot of gratuitous violence.

The majority of fans seemingly remain undecided on the news that Robert Downey Jr. will play Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
It's a bold decision on Marvel Studios' part and the hope is that Downey really is playing Victor Von Doom and not just a Tony Stark Variant who breaks bad and becomes Doctor Doom. Only time will tell on that front but we'd imagine there will be a link of some sort between the two characters.
Today, the talented 21Xfour has shared their take on Downey as Victor and Doom. We can't imagine the villain will be scar-free when we first meet him, though that may change if and when he acquires the power to rewrite reality and create Battleworld.
Downey looks great as both sides of the villain here and, seeing as seven years will have passed since Avengers: Endgame's release when we sit down to watch Doomsday,...

Even if you’re not a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), its significance in modern cinema is undeniable. This massive, interconnected project continues to thrive, despite recent box office challenges that have concerned some fans. However, with the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, things seem to be looking up, which inspired us to compile this list.
Deadpool & Wolverine is packed with Marvel cameos, prompting us to revisit the MCU’s history of cameo appearances. We’ve ranked the 10 best cameos as of this film, detailing which movie each cameo appeared in and explaining why it deserves a spot on this epic list.
10. Sam Neill, Luke Hemsworth, and Matt Damon as Odin, Thor, and Loki (respectively)
This scene was fantastic. Three talented actors came together to portray fictional versions of the Asgardians in a play designed solely to entertain Loki, who was disguised as Odin, indulging in his own satisfaction.

Joaquin Phoenix is one of the most interesting actors to watch on screen and one that does not conform to the conventional route taken by most actors. He is mostly driven by the roles he is going to play and does not care about the fame and fandom that come with being a celebrity. He has shown his incredible versatility in various intriguing dramas and won an Oscar for 2019’s Joker.

A lot of false rumors spread quickly because, while they may not have any supporting evidence, we can all kind of see the reasoning behind them. For instance, people believe the rumor that the killers in "Scream 2" were changed at the last second because that's the impression the movie itself gives. More recently, people believed that viral story of Jerry Seinfeld chastising Jimmy Fallon for being rude to his employee because, well, it sounded like the sort of thing both guys would do.
On the same note, it's easy to see how people believed that Jensen Ackles, the beloved actor who played Dean Winchester on "Supernatural" and Soldier Boy on "The Boys," once auditioned for the role of Captain America. The role, which would instead be taken up by Chris Evans, is exactly the sort of character we know Ackles could play: He's a strong, noble super-soldier, one without...

Kenneth Branagh’s second Agatha Christie film Death on the Nile, did not have a smooth ride. Its release was delayed several times due to first Disney buying the studio that made the film, 20th Century Fox, and then the Covid pandemic, and its cast turned out to be a Pandora’s Box of, at best, bad PR and at worst, criminal allegations.
Back in 2020 then, when Branagh was filming his autobiographically inspired family drama, Belfast, a third Hercule Poirot film wasn’t necessarily a given. Though Agatha Christie’s estate and Branagh were keen to make further sequels to 2017 hit Murder on the Orient Express, the next Christie movie had yet to be greenlit.
That uncertainty inspired Branagh to tuck a Poirot Easter Egg into Belfast as “an offering to the gods,” as he told The Hollywood Reporter. “They can tell us, in the end, if we’ll be allowed to make it.

Many a mom has thrown out the comics left behind when their students headed off into the world. They didn’t know they were throwing away a future fortune.
The first comic book that featured Captain America sold at auction today for 3.1 million. The price is just short of the record of 3.6 million, set in 2014 for Spide-Man’s first comic appearance. The buyer was not identified.
The price is a far cry from the 10 cents the book sold for when it was first published in 1941. Its initial sales are lost to time, but the cover features Cap punching out Adolf Hitler, a popular notion in the war years.
Comic auctions for No. 1 issues have skyrocketed in the last few years. Superman No. 1 went for 3.2 million in 2014, while Batman’s debut fetched 2.2 million in 2021.

MollywoodThe film is a biopic on the acclaimed football player, who led Kerala to victory in the Santosh Trophy. Digital NativeDigital NativeJayasurya played VP Sathyan in his latest film Captain, a biopic on the acclaimed football player who led Kerala to victory in the Santosh Trophy. In an interview to Manoramaonline, the star opened up about the role he got to play in Captain and admitted that he never knew Sathyan personally but was told on a number of occasions that he did resemble the footballer. He had admitted, “Sathyan was a talented footballer who loved the game unconditionally and earned the Santosh Trophy for Kerala. That was his persona on the ground. We had to present him as an individual too. I knew neither of those Sathyans. Yet, I felt his presence during my preparations to essay the role.” However, Jayasurya being a talented actor soon got into the skin of the character so much so that he transformed into VP Sathyan while shooting some scenes. Recalling one such incident, Jayasurya told in the interview that when he had to slap his co-star Anu Sithara, who was playing VP Sathyan’s wife Anitha in the movie, he hit her hard on the face. On this, he said, "I told you I was going through a lot of emotion. The acting was so intense that I actually slapped co-actor Anu Sithara during the shoot. That was an unrehearsed shot. I had warned the cameraman that I was not sure of what I was going to do. Just shoot whatever I do. I realized that I hit Anu Sithara only after the shoot was finished. I was worried about facing her after the incident, but she was sporty.” Captain was directed by Prajesh Sen, a debutant.
