When I expected to see Episode 22 "The Hot List" in yesterday's (Dec 01) broadcast, instead I saw a repeat of Episode 20 about El Chapo's son and the "Siege of Culiacán"

If you're a fan of NY Times The Daily, you will love this show. It focuses on real stories, real events, and real people. This is journalism at its finest, and shows not only haunting stories from the modern world, but difficult and jarring situations that people around the world face.

Definitely a series that will be understood and appreciated by the educated. It isn't propaganda and there aren't inaccurate or cutesy catch phrases to dumb it down, which will make some viewers uncomfortable. The journalists even assume that the audience knows the difference between "your" and "you're," and "their," "there" and "they're." Go on, watch. Learn something.

Compelling investigative reporting. Thank God we have journalists who let you see the truth. Our current government does nothing but lie and spin for their own benefit. I feel we are becoming a country without empathy.......I hope I am wrong.

I just watched Episode 3.
Episodes 1, 2, and 3 are a "10" rating.
I've rated things on IMDB for years.
I want to rate episodes soon after they air, if not the day they air.
This is an amazing show.
It's showing the Truth of people/things/situations in a time where censorship, misinformation, and flat-out lies have become the new normal.
Please, if anyone sees this, add them?
Or at least explain what the hold up is?
I REALLY want this series to continue after Season 1.
There is going to be a huge void that Vice News has been cancelled.

A few topics have been so well covered that I didn't really like them, but there were also episodes that had topics I had never really heard of, and it's these that I watch this show for. Make no mistake about it, though -- this is a good show, and I really hope they keep making it. It makes information digestible, and a lot of this information I wouldn't have known otherwise (and I'm quite the news junkie at times, so I'm sure most people find this material surprising and interesting).

The first half was very sad and informative story about the cyclists BUT then we get to that female reporter from the NYT that ignores fact and reports with a one-sided slant because she hates Trump so much. The children being ripped away from their parents was initiated under Obama. But most importantly refugee detailing dated as far back as the Clinton administration. The footage used with the kids behind fencing and bars is from 2014 and guess what Trump was not the President then but Obama. See there is so much hate for Trump people will manipulate, leave necessary information out, and report falsehoods just to stay within there agenda. Reporting should be about the facts and only the facts which allows the general public for form their own opinion and not be told by creative writing/reporting as to what to think and feel.

Great reporting and great stories from America's bulwark against ignorance and one of the final bastions of journalism. If you don't read this newspaper regularly, I doubt that you can consider yourself to be a well-informed adult. I have my complaints about the newspaper, but I won't voice them here.
If you don't read The New York Times, perhaps this series will spur you to take a look at the paper. I promise that this will be a good use of your time.

The cinematography is breathtaking. Immersive and thorough storytelling through the eyes of the New York Times. Some of the worlds most talented "muckrakers" come together to expose corruption, as well as dive into important world events that we all should be paying attention to. I am officially hooked!
