Daredevil: A New Napkin (2018)
Season 3, Episode 13
10/10
Surprised by quality
22 October 2018
The season starts with the aftermath of "The Defenders" TV Series episode and at start it may seem slowly pacing presenting the state Matt Murdock is in and his recovery, but the show really knows how to extend and elevate the plot resulting in a new quest that's about to start.

The guilt and fear of losing the close ones overcomes Matt's mind and puts him questioning his true nature and purpose, whether it's to be a lawyer and join his friends back again or to come back as Daredevil.

The power of Wilson Fisk once again revealed turns the city upside down and the only ones who can stop him are the uncorrupted ones.

This new season also comes with few interesting new characters and succeeds revealing the story behind them. I was amazed by the buildup every episode delivers resulting in a series that makes you know more at the end of every episode, therefore you may binge watch the whole season.

I waited and I was delivered to, the season 3 of Daredevil peaked my expectations and I was gladly surprised by the acting, writing and directing that manifested.

Overall season 3 score : 9.1

Vikings: The Departed Part 1 (2017)
Season 5, Episode 1
9/10
A promising start.

Warning: Spoilers
This new season of 𝐕𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 begins not with one but two very well written episodes. I was gladly surprised by the many changes that took place for the show to extend.

The episode begins with the funeral of Sigurd and also with many thoughts of concern about Ivar's behavior. The show starts to reveal the new character under the name of 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐡𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐝 and we see that he's not like the others bishops, he's truly devoted to his people and his religion not only with the book but with the sword too.

The two brothers, Harald and Halfdan say each other farewell by the fact that their dreams aren't the same. Harald still wants to be the king of Norway (greedy bitch) and Halfdan leaves with Bjorn in search for new land on Mediterranean.

Next, we see Floki preparing his boat for a journey only he believes in. Ivar is trying to stop him but he doesn't succeeds. He lets himself on the Gods's hand being affected by the death of his beloved Helga.

The three brothers are planning to siege York and succeeds, this giving them a well built stronghold for defending by the Christian threats. We see a great slaughter in the church which seemed to affect a little Ubbe's thoughts. From this image that the show presented us we can see that Ubbe is more like his father than his brothers. The massacre is ended with the torture of the Bishop who preached in that church.

At the end of the episode we see the landing of King Harald at Kattegat. Lagertha, cautious as usual, starts questioning him until she finds out the truth of his arrival.

A small story, but good elaborated.

Warning: Spoilers
I had this movie on my "must see" list for a long time, yesterday I had the chance to see it. What to say, I think it's not a movie that you can enjoy more seeing it at the cinema. It's above the average time and has not a lot of action that you can enjoy on a big screen. Action being based on a indoor talking and thoughts can be interpreted as boring, of course, the real action comes when the coffee gets poisoned while Major Marquis Warren is trying to make General Sandy Smithers pick the pistol that he carefully left beside him. Of course this scene didn't finished well. We can say that this scene is one of the few with more impact in the movie. The movie has a good vibe by the time the action takes place. Camera performance is good, sound better and the screenplay is written carefully from the start to the end. At the end of the day, the movie left me asking myself why I did not saw this movie earlier.
