Awesome prequel but a bit confusing
27 May 2018
I enjoyed this film, it's not a disaster at all. Changing director half way through making it didn't seem to ruin the story, although the ending did feel a bit plain. The battle scenes were good, the characters were used greatly, especially Chewbacca and L3 but the villain was a bit plain. For what he did was fine but there could have been more for him to do. The plot twists at the end were confusing. I didn't think it was necessary for two betrayals, Beckett seemed too loyal to lie to Han. Lando was okayish but nothing compared to Chewbacca. The new Han actor was just as good as Harrison Ford.

There should definitely be a sequel to this, there are key parts of a New Hope that weren't used in this film, so maybe a sequel will link how Han met Jabba and Boba Fett and how he ended up on Tatooine, where he met Luke. The ending sure suggests that we will get a sequel, the film didn't feel complete as such. Some of the plot was hard to understand but you could pretty much understand what everyone was meant to be doing. I'd recommend that you see this film, a true Star Wars fan would want to watch it, whether they hated the Last Jedi or not. It's probably better than the Last Jedi in some areas but comparing the two is quite difficult. They both had their strong and weak points. Rogue One was better than both and probably still remains as a brilliant Star Wars film.

Solo A Star Wars Story is a yes to see.

Not As Bad As Everyone Says
20 January 2018
My main problems with the film are that C-3po, R2-D2 and Chewbacca are being left out constantly throughout the film. They're the characters we want the most! BB8 might be a great addition but if he was actually working with R2-D2 on the missions then he'd be even better. C-3Po got a satisfactory role in the film and yes he did get one odd scene where Poe, who stole his role, told him shut up. R2-D2 didn't even get out the millennium falcon. He and Chewbacca were literally the only two characters who you knew were gonna survive because they stayed in the plain and did nothing. When we see our three heroes return, they need to be the main characters, not Poe Dameron. At least the ending hints that they may do something but it looks doubtful. Maybe they will get the role they deserve.

Princess Leia's parts were fine, my advice would be to still have her in episode 9, writing her out would very tricky the way that the film ended. General Hux, BB8, Rey, Finn and DJ were great characters although to be fair, most of Rey's scenes were the boring ones in the movie as she avoided action until nearly the end. She wasn't the starring character. Finn probably stood out more than her but overall BB8 and Poe Dameron probably had the most to do.

The casino scene was one of the best scenes so I can't see why people are slagging that off in particular. Admiral Ackbar's death is wrong because he is an alien almost, so why does Leia survive space but not him?

Holdo was a fine character but if anyone should have killed her it should have been C-3Po. Admiral Ackbar should have taken her place as the sacrifice at the end.

Yoda was definately needed in the film although with several characters it felt like introducing them took forever, even the new ones. I was beginning to wonder if Captain Pahasma was going to show up and when she did, it was disappointing. For episode 9 to get the characters right, they need to start using the originals more like Leia, C-3Po, Chewbacca, R2 D2, Lando (who is still missing!)

Overall I enjoyed the film as much as the others. It isn't as good as episode 4, 5, 7 or Rogue One but it's still better than some of the films.

The Brittas Empire: A Walk on the Wildside (1996)
Season 6, Episode 4

Good episode
10 January 2018
This episode was actually pretty good, especially when that man tried to prove that he was the winner of the competition which Mr Brittas had hosted and where he had to prove himself as that guy. The meditation scenes were good as well. This was actually a good episode. Wasn't as good as Laura's Leaving or Pregnant but still pretty good.

Disappointing
19 November 2017
DC just isn't understanding themselves. They produce Man Of Steel with a powerful villain and weak hero and then they end it by one simple punch which kills the villain. Batman VS Superman just wasn't what is should have been. They fought for about two minutes and then were allies the rest of the time. Doomsday killing the weak Superman was the only thing that saved the film. Suicide Squad I haven't seen so can't judge but I am guessing that the reviews are may be accurate but they may be a little bit too harsh. Then you did produce a very good film, Wonder Woman. Good villains, a hero that can actually stand a chance and an ending which everyone will love. But then Justice League makes a wrong turn.

They introduced the heroes in a clever way, Flash obviously being one of the better ones but there wasn't enough of something. Steppenwolf just seemed like a random villain who needed a couple of magic boxes to end the world. He probably only killed about two minor people and that was about it. There was no origin and he didn't stand out very well. For a film which tries to act like the Avengers, it wasn't doing a good job. The heroes were fine except from Superman obviously and Lois Lane is someone we want more of in the films. The ending was boring, the build up took a bit too long and the action that was used was OK. The action saved it really and some of the CGI.

In order for DC to improve it needs to start introducing better villains like Bane, Mr Freeze and Joker. Although, the dark Knight trilogy and Lego Batman Movie are probably better examples of using these sorts of characters. Overall 7.3/10 for this film, in some places it would have been lower or higher. For those who prefer DC to Marvel, get it right. Marvel has better movies like Thor Ragnarok and Guardians Of The Galaxy. Even Avengers did a better job at creating the team. When you think about what you liked better out of the Marvel and DC films, more Marvel will be liked. The only time DC might be better than Marvel is when watching some of the Xmen films.

Watch this film if you have to but don't expect the sort of battle scenes or decent story you'd expect from Marvel because you may leave feeling rather annoyed.

Sonic Boom: Eggman: The Video Game: Part 2 (2017)
Season 2, Episode 52

Terrific Season Finale
12 November 2017
Great way to end the second season, this season was better than the first. Shadow and Sonic fighting side to side against Metal Sonic was a much better battle than using all Sonic's enemies to destroy him. I do like characters like Dave The Intern, Mombot, Morpho, Mayor Fink, Mark The Tapir, Mighton, Bolts, Tommy Thunder, Comedy Chimp and all the other Boom characters exclusive to the show but they need more than just Sonic, Amy, Sticks, Knuckles and Tails to protect them. Vector should be a regular for the third season and Shadow should change his ways. We still want Silver and Blaze so try creating a new game which introduces them. Other from that, the show is fine. Don't rate this last episode bad when it was one of the better ones overall.

For season 3 I would try adding in a sort of story which then leads to something epic at the end. Try that. Try adding Sticks into cannon games, try adding more Sonic characters. Ship Sticks with Shadow or Knuckles. We want Sonic and Amy kissing. That'll boost the ratings up I can assure you.

Paddington 2 (2017)
9/10
Great sequel
12 November 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The first Paddington film was cleverly made but just wasn't long enough. This film however lasted longer and had way more to it which made it better. Phoenix as the villain was kind of better than Millicent as he was more cunning. Knuckles was a great addition, how you couldn't like him is just wrong, if you like Knuckles The Echidna then you'll like Knuckles McGinty.

Mr Curry could have done more although they gave Mr Gruber a more dominant role like in the books. The scenes were mainly funny. Judy was attractive like in the last film but three years' film difference can emphasize how much actors can change, especially Johnathan and Judy. The prison bit was a bit like Muppets Most Wanted as Paddington befriends his cell mates and then they start to enjoy themselves and then at the end they help his escape, only difference is that some of them join him. Overall a 9/10 for this film. Can't wait for Paddington 3.

Sooty & Co. (1993–1998)

Bring this back on TV!
9 November 2017
First of all, that seven is too low for a show this good. The last three of four episodes where Richard and Liana join may have been a bit disappointing due to there being no Matthew being silly incidents, but other from that the show is epic. The first show with Scampi in all the way through and a different setting. Sooty, Sweep, Soo and Scampi have better looks in this show and the animation is better. Talent is used in this show. Humour is used.

Soo To The Rescue is one of the funny ones if you're looking at Sweep's sense of humour.

Soo's Babies was another classic Sweep example.

The breakdown service episode was interesting and funny.

The Tidy Box was good.

Sooty's stain remover was a creative one which inspires us with our creative writing.

Out of the Sooty Show, Sooty And Co, Sooty Heights, Sooty, Sooty 2011, my favourite would a hard choice. The newest Sooty is funny the first few times other from the atrocious episode Cow Capers. If Scampi or Butch were used in the show then I'd like it more but Sooty and Co is one of the better ones.

Iron Man 2 (2010)
6/10
Average and slow.
9 November 2017
Even Black Widow can't save the film on this occasion, her outfits were silly except from her actual one. Whiplash wasn't as bad as people say though. He just fought the wrong hero. I write my own series of stories and my version of Whiplash is a lot more powerful. This Marvel version of Whiplash just doesn't seem to know what's he doing. He caused minor damage and only survived one fight. Justin Hammer was the better man in the situation, bring him back. He can change his ways.

War Machine being introduced was the closest to saving the film but changing his actor was selfish but then it fits into Marvel better than the original one did.

Iron Man 2 is the weakest Marvel film there is. Hulk and Captain America The First Avenger are way better.

Iron Man 3 was better than this.

Great and funny
9 November 2017
After watching the this, I knew that I must watch the sequels and read the books. This film starts off with some funny bits were the Dursleys are yelling at Harry when really it is Dudley being the misbehaved one. Let's remember that this film is set in the 1990s,not the 21st century and yet Dudley still manages to get all sorts of interesting presents. The arrival of Hagrid instantly made you like him. He's my favourite Harry Potter character because he's clumsy and dangerous, a bit like me.

Hermione was attractive and Draco Malfoy as the bully seemed like a good plot to use throughout both this film and the others. (People do wear socks in bed just to say so please don't make that sound non existent.) The book was just as good as the film and to be fair, there are some things that don't work as well when it's in the book.

The troll scene was a bit gross so I'm glad it ended very quickly, if you ask me, Hermione should not have lied about what happened, she was the victim when she knew nothing.

The mystery of who the main villain was very interesting because it made me wonder whether it was Hagrid or Snape. The fact that it was Professor Quirrel was a plot twist to remember. Never trust wizards that wear purple turbines on their heads, they are not to be trusted.

7.5 is an average rating from viewers but just remember one thing, Harry Potter will always be more successful than DC, even if the characters vary.

Great film for an average Marvel character
8 November 2017
Iron Man was better than the first two Thor films, but not Ragnarok which came out recently. It is slightly better than Ant Man and Hulk. It beats some of the slow Xmen films. Although Captain America is better than Iron Man, this film kicks off the franchise. Tony is inspiring.

Don't watch the sequel to this but try the third one.

Wonder Woman (2017)

Perfect
3 November 2017
DC films except the dark knight series and Lego batman movie have been bad. Man Of Steel would have been fine if Super Man was actually super, he only won by pure luck. Batman vs Super Man did nothing other from make us like Lois. If it was cannon to the dark knight series then things may be better but it isn't. However, after the amount of sexism from Ghostbusters, people actually rated Wonder Woman a high score.

It was one of the best DC films, I'm not a DC fan to be honest, Marvel is better but on this occasion, Wonder Woman did a fantastic job. The villains, fights and settings were all perfect. Although I'm attracted to hundreds of girls, I don't have much of an opinion on Gal Gadot other from the fact that she's a good actress. Wonder Woman is one of the better DC characters, followed by Bane and Batman. Anyone who liked Wonder Woman can now re-watch Ghostbusters and say that is was fine and not terrible. Like, it beat the second original one.

I loom forward to the Wonder Woman sequel and seeing her in Justice League. Ares was a cool villain.

Very good for a beginner
31 October 2017
I'd give this 8.5/10

This was the first Marvel Movie that I ever saw and it did take a while to get me interested. Ultron was one of the better villains and he certainly deserves a sequel film. Why are people slagging this off? Yes it's different to the first Avengers but even that wasn't the best Marvel film so stop saying it is. Ultron is better than many of the Marvel films. The character was intelligent and hard to beat unlike Loki. For some reason I already knew Hulk despite it being my first Marvel film so the character development deserves credit. The only real problem with the film is that some of the build up is a bit random. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were great and they are what we want in the Marvel films, anyone who preferred Loki just because he's Thor's brother needs to rethink. I like Loki but Ultron makes a better villain so Jack Spade needs to make a come back. CGI by the way was awesome, didn't occur to me that people would find destroying Sokolvia an issue until Captain America Civil War. That film basically tells us that the Avengers did a bad job which does ruin the plot slightly.

Age Of Ultron 2 would be great. So would reviving Quick Silver

Best Film I've seen yet!
27 October 2017
The film started off with more than I expected. A few issues I did notice was that several trailer bits were cut out of the film. The three warriors could have had a bit more to do before dying. Sif should have been in the film as a hero but as long as Marvel still use her. The new characters Korg, Skurge, Hela and Valkryie were very interesting. Another clever thing the film did was put the Doctor Strange post credit scene into the film which was quite clever.

This film was way better than the first Avengers. A lot of the films are better than Avengers but people just don't get that. Ultron was better, Doctor Strange, Captain America and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 should be rated higher than Avengers so I expect any true fans to rate Thor Ragnarok higher. It deserves 10 or 9 but certainly no lower than 8. Avengers Infinity War I fear may ruin the ending for this film, especially if all the surviving Asgardians are killed by Thanos like the Infinity War trailer showed.

Loki and Thor did some funny things like the "get help" thing. Bruce Banner remained as Hulk for two years is a bit bizarre. If he does now permanently stay as Hulk then it suggests that his actor is quitting. Korg and Heimdall need to return some day for more action.

Now that you know some viewpoints, go and watch this. You'll definitely be pleased if you do.

Genius!
14 October 2017
Despite not knowing any of these new characters at first, the film was brilliant! CGI, story and battle was too good to hate. Even that cameo from Darth Vader and my favourite, C-3Po, made it fun. Some of the deaths were a bit weird. Bodhi Rook could have survived if he had kicked the grenade out the ship he blew up in. Losing K2 was like losing C-3po. Let's hope they do Star Wars 8's new characters like that instead of not giving them a back story like with Poe Dameron.

Nothing wrong with it. I would say that the cast was funny and unforgetting. They seemed good together. Holtzmann was good and Kevin was awesome. More happened in this one so don't slag a good movie off before watching it. Female cast is just as good as a male one. If you liked Wonder Woman then how is this any different? I want to see a sequel to this.
