Votes: 2,983 | Gross: $0.07M

Oh boy...This is a doc about the Enumclaw, Washington man who died as a result of sex with a horse, and thus causing said state to wake up and change the laws. But its not a straight forward doc about that really, its an artsy fartsy attempt at humanizing the whole thing...But for the rest of us freaks, we know the dude as "Mister Hands" the horse *beeper* who used to put out these porn tapes online. Anywhoo, this doc isn't what one would expect bc its indie artsy but I thought it was pretty trippy, especially when you consider it was even allowed to be made and shown at festivals.

The Grove is where America's power players meet once a year to get hammered, dress up in hooded robes and worship an owl effigy, and rent young male prostitutes from SF- ehem, "allegedly". Oh yeah its also were the majority of big political biz decisions are made, such as who will or will not be running for president and this is where the Manhattan Project was birthed (prob while drunk).

31. The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia (2009)

Director: Julien Nitzberg | Stars: J. Parker Bazzle II, Big & Rich, Ponty's Camper, Derek Wayne Castle

Votes: 5,198

Break out the banjo for this hayseed Holocaust! Heres an amazing look into the modern Appalachian outlaw family of Jesco White [Dancing Outlaw], whose reputation spans 3 or more generations. While this is not a new story to anyone familiar with southern mountain life and family feuds throughout history, the Whites surely are an interesting bunch. OK, these are uneducated and criminal minded folks. But they are street (mountain?) smart as hell and have no conscience when it comes to getting what they want when in survival skill mode. The Whites are a fascinating depiction of a family who by extreme isolation mixed with some real down hard luck over time, are no different than inner city gangstas really, sociologically speaking. The Whites too, like many other downtrodden groups, have a story to tell in regards to how they got to be in the place they are in. And yes, for the record, families like this DO exist and always will within mountainous regions of WV, Va, Ky, TN etc. [lets remember there is a difference btwn Hillbillies and rednecks and the Whites indeed are Hillbillies]. Viewers will be sucked in before the opening credits even roll, trust me on this.

32. Hell House (2001)

Not Rated | 85 min | Documentary

64 Metascore

Votes: 1,725

Oh. My. GOD... Apparently, the trinity Church in podunk TX puts on a haunted house every year, which attracks upward 13,000 visitors. But actually, that's not the scary part. Its all the fire and brimstone lessons in performances put on by the youth that have folks hanging on to the edge of their seats here! Hell house is quite the thorough faire, with performance designed to give its audiences a glimpse of what awaits those who stray from the path of a strict Christian life.

33. Jesus Camp (2006)

PG-13 | 87 min | Documentary

62 Metascore

A documentary on kids who attend a summer camp hoping to become the next Billy Graham.

Directors: Heidi Ewing, Rachel Grady | Stars: Mike Papantonio, Lou Engle, Becky Fischer, Ted Haggard

Votes: 28,778 | Gross: $0.90M

A documentary on kids VOLENTARILY attending a North Dakota bible camp known as . . . drum roll please . . . The Kids on Fire Bible Camp on Devil’s Lake. Much like Hitler youth, these little angels are encouraged to become warriors for God and there’s lots of tears, singing, dancing, spiritual possession (IE doing the fish), speaking in tongues and Billy Graham style preaching going on here. You have 10 yr old Levi who can’t wait to grow up and become a minister and many more kids who spread the word 24-7 by traveling coast to coast when need be. I don’t know why so many people have no clue this movie even exists, especially when it has actually won an assload of film awards.
