Generally, if your house turns out to be haunted, it’s a sign that things aren’t going to turn out well – call in Father Merrin, Yvette Fielding, the Ghostbusters, or whoever you can to sort it out. But in We Have A Ghost – the new adventure-mystery-comedy from Freaky and Happy Death Day director Christopher Landon’s undead Ernest isn’t a bad omen, but an opportunity to right wrongs (and get some internet kudos along the way). Because it turns out Ernest is not only a friendly ghost, but one who can’t remember why he died or why he’s stuck in the dilapidated house of teenager Kevin and his family. Cue an investigation into what happened to Ernest, while the CIA close in and viral fame rears its head. Watch the trailer here:

The Most Wanted presenter began by taking issue with Big Brother, naming it as a TV turn-off while talking to The Guardian.
"I know I swear when I'm scared on Most Haunted, but some of these characters on Big Brother - they're using the C-word in every other sentence," she said. "Is there really any need for that?"

It's hard to believe, but Celebrity MasterChef kicked off its tenth series tonight - yep, we're onto a tenth run of brave celebrities attempting to prove their culinary prowess (and sometimes failing terribly).
It all kicked off tonight with Sarah Harding, Chesney Hawkes, Yvette Fielding, Sheree Murphy and Patricia Potter heading into the kitchen under the watchful gaze of John Torode and Gregg Wallace. But what did you think of all the action?
Are you still enjoying Celebrity MasterChef as much as ever? Is it still cooking on gas, or has it gone off the boil? (Do you see what we did there?) And what did you think of tonight's episode in particular? Will you be tuning in for seconds next week? (We did it again.)
We want to know all of your thoughts, so hit the comments to let us know what you made of Celebrity MasterChef tonight...

No joke: One Direction's Harry Styles - or Taylor Swift's most recent ex-boyfriend as some of you might know him - was recently accused of sending text messages of a sexual nature to a friend's mother. Yvette Fielding, who is mom to an old friend of Harry's (and former presenter of the UK's "Most Haunted"), interviewed with Woman magazine, where she talked about one night when she and her family and Harry went out to dinner, and Harry began the virtual equivalent of sticking his foot in her crotch under the table: he began sending her racy text messages, or, if you're under the age of seventeen, Sexts. Here's what Yvette had to say to Woman: "The last time I saw him we went for a Chinese – his mum and her partner, Robin, plus me and my husband, Karl. Speaking to the new issue of Woman magazine, Yvette revealed: 'Harry was sending me disgusting texts from across the table. I can't even repeat the words, they were so rude!' However, Yvette wasn't too offended by Harry's flirting as she considers the 19-year-old lothario to be a 'joker' Recalling the first time she met Harry when he was...

Few things are more important when it comes to building expectations for a movie than the title itself. While every aspect of a production – from the actors, to the director, or even a costume designer – can pique our particular interest in an upcoming movie, often it’s the title which will first form part of our decision over whether or not a film appeals to us.
Most of us realise that film titles don’t have to be as gratuitously up front as say Snakes On A Plane or The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but it’s still often a surprise when something with such a seemingly literal title can often give us the completely wrong idea. When we walk into a video store with the urge to watch something new, it’s the title – or cover art – which will form our initial idea of what the film could be like.

The UK-based "Most Haunted" television program recently severed ties with longtime broadcaster the SkyLiving Channel; however, the creators had the rights to the show returned and have every intention of continuing their paranormal investigations. Unfortunately, due to time constraints they were unable to produce a Halloween special this year, but they've set their sights on another upcoming holiday. Ho, ho, ho!
Yvette Fielding and Karl Battie, the writers, directors and stars of the show, are thrilled to announce the next generation of "Most Haunted," and they will kick off the relaunch with a brand spankin' new DVD, Most Haunted: Christmas Spirits, which will be released on December 12th.
Most Haunted: Christmas Spirits will feature the return of Yvette hosting more chilling investigations into the supernatural, giving fans fearing the end of the show a little something to smile about during the upcoming holiday season. These ghostbusters aren't going anywhere.

The Awakening is a welcome return to the big screen for writer Stephen Volk, self proclaimed ‘tub-thumper’ for the horror genre and the man behind the acclaimed small screen horrorshows Afterlife and Ghostwatch.
His new film (out in UK cinemas tomorrow ) was directed by Nick Murphy and is as far from the Death-by-irony gorefests which litter the horror landscape of the last ten years as can be. It is a proper character based ghost story which I enjoyed immensely and has Rebecca Hall and Dominic West investigating the supposed supernatural death of a boy at a remote boarding school.
Our conversation took place on Hallowe’en, nineteen years to the day since his celebrated and controversial TV drama Ghostwatch aired and I couldn’t begin the conversation without talking about the huge impact it has had on the depiction and popularity of the supernatural on TV.

Another week, another of Orange’s Films to Go, and this week it is a perfect movie for halloween, as it’s the Blair Witch Project – the Pov documentary horror that became a phenomenon and swamped a myriad of imitators.
“Prepare for a motion picture experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen, heard or feared before. The Blair Witch Project follows a trio of filmmakers on what should have been a simple walk in the woods, but quickly becomes an excursion into heart-stopping terror. As the three become inexplicably lost, morale deteriorates, hunger sets in, accusations fly. By night, unseen evil stirs beyond their campfire’s light. By day, chilling ritualistic figures are discovered nearby. As the end of their journey approaches, they realise that what they are filming now is not a legend, but their own descent into unimaginable horror.”

Here’s one for Orange customers and information on how you can get the Orange Film to Go this week. Every week, Orange will be doing their Film Night Live which is an online web streaming Q&A to coincide with the movie that they are giving away for nothing (I can’t use the word ‘free’ but essentially it’s for the price of a text) on iTunes. This will be happening every week on Thursday and has the catchy title, Film To Go (we don’t want to hear people calling it Orange Thursdays!). Each week at 8pm, there will be a live webcast which they call Film Night Live. We’ve teamed up with Orange to bring you the broadcast on the HeyUGuys Facebook page here.
This week, the movie being given away is The Blair Witch Project starring Heather Donahue, Michael Williams, Joshua Leonard and directed by Daniel Myrick & Eduardo Sanchez.

Did Terry "Really Wild Show" Nutkins really encounter a "really really evil" ghost outside an isolated cottage in Scotland? Can anyone remember what Yvette Fielding did for a living before ghostbusting? Take this as
a very early Halloween present: old-fashioned ghost stories crossed with Crimewatch-style reconstructions of spooky behaviour. Paranormal Activity it ain't, but for anyone remotely scared on their lonesome, this is a good way to remind us that celebrities – or people on obscure TV channels – are just like us: indulging their daftness to the point of comic horror. Yvette Fielding has quit Living’s Most Haunted, after ten years on the show.
Revealing her decision in an open letter on her website, Yvette thanked fans of the show for their loyalty and revealed how ten years ago, she and her husband Karl sold most of their possessions just to get the pilot made and picked up by a TV channel.
However after a mountain of fan mail asking her to ‘go further and move forward,’ Yvette decided that it was time to “move paranormal activites to the next level”.
She continued:
“It is time for me to hang up my long black coat, move on and leave Most Haunted as its presenter in order to pursue other projects.”
Yvette will be continuing with her ITV2 show ‘Ghosthunting With……’ and claims to have other projects in the pipeline. It is not yet known whether Most Haunted will continue with another presenter.
