Prince Harry isn’t part of Prince William’s “inner circle” and hasn’t been for years. So, who is there for the Prince of Wales? A royal expert says the 41-year-old’s support system includes two fellow British royals: a cousin who is “almost like a brother to him” and someone else who married into the family.
Peter Phillips and Mike Tindall are part of William’s ‘inner circle’
William’s brother, the Duke of Sussex, “is not, and will not, be here to help or provide a shoulder to cry on,” according to Jennie Bond, a former BBC royal correspondent (via Ok).
While Kate Middleton undergoes preventative chemotherapy and King Charles III gets back to work after his own cancer diagnosis, Peter Phillips, the 46-year-old son of Princess Anne, and Mike Tindall, 45, husband to Zara Tindall, are there for William to lean on.

Although they’re navigating the same disease, Kate Middleton and King Charles III aren’t reacting to cancer in the same way. A commentator says the two British royals have been “forced” to confront “what matters” and it’s different for both of them.
Cancer has made King Charles and Kate ‘think about what matters’
Being diagnosed with cancer has put “what matters” at the front of Kate and the king’s minds, acccording to commentator Jack Royston. “I think it’s probably forced them to really think about what matters,” he told Sky News’ Wilfred Frost (via Newsweek).
Buckingham Palace announced the king’s cancer diagnosis in early February 2024, keeping the type and stage private. A month later, in March 2024, Kate revealed she, too, had been diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer and had started preventative chemotherapy.

In 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s royal family exit set the tone for what the couple called their freedom from the House of Windsor. While the focus has mainly been on Kate Middleton following her cancer diagnosis announcement, it seems King Charles III, who is also undergoing cancer treatment, is gearing up for some big events. The king, 75, reportedly intends to participate in four major upcoming royal family events, starting with Easter.

Prince William has been, in Kate Middleton’s words, “a great source of comfort and reassurance” amid her cancer diagnosis. However, that doesn’t mean the Prince of Wales’ own feelings about the situation aren’t entirely positive. William reportedly feels “helpless and scared” amid the Princess of Wales’ diagnosis.
William feels ‘helpless and scared’ about Kate’s cancer diagnosis
It seems three words sum up how William’s feeling amid Kate’s cancer diagnosis. He feels “helpless and scared,” a source told Us Magazine. Furthermore, the 41-year-old’s been asking other British royals to cover for him so he can be at home.
William and Kate live at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, England, with their children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5. The number of royals able to fill in for William is low.
He and Kate are taking a step back from duties for the time being.

Royal watchers everywhere were surprised when it was announced that King Charles III had been diagnosed with cancer.
Following a routine procedure for an enlarged prostate in January, tests revealed that the monarch had cancer and would undergo treatment. The Palace released a statement on Feb. 5 that read: “During the king’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer. His Majesty has commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties.”
Now, a member of the royal family has given an update on the king and revealed that he has become “frustrated” with his recovery. Here’s more on that and why Queen Camilla (formerly Camilla Parker Bowles) just told well-wishers her husband was “disappointed.”

Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne and the nephew of King Charles, is opening up about his uncle’s ongoing cancer battle.
If you weren’t aware, King Charles announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer back in February.
In a recent interview, Peter provided an update on King Charles‘ condition as he undergoes treatment for cancer.

“He’s in good spirits,” Peter told Sky News Australia on Sunday (March 24). “I think, ultimately, he’s hugely frustrated. He’s frustrated that he can’t get on and do everything that he wants to be able to do. But he is very pragmatic, [and] he understands that there’s a period of time that he really needs to focus on himself.”

King Charles III and Prince Harry may not quite be on their way to reconciling. The king is reportedly eager to hit the “reset button” with his youngest son, the Duke of Sussex. However, it’s said to be a “quid-pro-quo” situation where Harry will have to accept not getting everything he wants.
King Charles doesn’t ‘expect’ an apology from Harry
Ready to dish out apologies isn’t apparently where King Chares stands with Harry at the moment. Speaking to the Daily Beast, a “friend” of King Charles’s said: “It has been reported that Charles wants an apology from Harry, but that’s far from the truth. [Charles] wouldn’t expect that.”
The king, they explained, knows the Windsor family is “a stubborn lot,” and the Duke of Sussex is “no exception.” So it seems, an apology from either King Charles or Harry may not be on the horizon quite yet.

Royal watchers first got to see Prince Louis’ big personality during the late Queen Elizabeth II‘s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022. In the months since we’ve seen the young prince during several other appearances showing off his cheeky (and rebellious) side. But according to a body language expert, Louis is not the “most rebellious royal child.” The one who takes that title actually pushed a future king down a hill.

Before Prince Louis was showcasing his adorable antics at events, a lesser-known royal child was paving the way for him.
Body language and behavioral expert Judi James told Express that the “most rebellious” of the late queen’s great-grandchildren is Princess Anne’s granddaughter Savannah Phillips.

There were questions leading up to King Charles III‘s coronation about who would sit where in Westminster Abbey as it was reported that Prince William and Prince Harry were going to be kept far away from each other. And it was believed that the Duke of Sussex wasn’t going to be happy with having to sit a few rows from the front.
But now another member of the royal family is saying that they weren’t thrilled with where they sat during the coronation ceremony. Here’s who called their seat inside the Abbey “frustrating” and why.

Before Queen Elizabeth died in September 2022, the monarch spent time with her family over the summer - including posing for a snapshot with some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In a new photo released by Kensington Palace on April 21, Queen Elizabeth sits on a couch at Balmoral Castle in Aberdeen, Scotland, surrounded by 10 of the younger members of her family, including Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4. The Palace also revealed that the sweet image was captured by their mom, Kate Middleton.
Also in the picture are Prince Edward's children (and the Queen's grandchildren) Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, 19, and James, Earl of Wessex, 15, both standing in the back. Zara Tindall's children - Mia, 9, Lena, 4, and Lucas, 2, - are also in the photograph, as are Peter Phillips's two daughters, Savannah, 12, and Isla, 11. Divorce has historically been a taboo subject in the British royal family, primarily because of the impact it could have on the monarchy’s image. But because the current ruling monarch, King Charles III, had a failed marriage, some might wonder whether royal couples need permission to divorce.

The Church of England, which is embedded in the monarchy, historically held a traditional stance on divorce. And its rules made it nearly impossible for royals to divorce or marry someone whose previous marriage had ended.
According to Historic UK, the Church of England was established after King Henry VIII split from the Catholic Church because it wouldn’t allow him to annul his marriage to Catherine of Aragon. But the limitations of divorce remained as a reflection of the church’s doctrinal position.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leaving the royal family has created distress amongst the family. Many of the royals gathered together for Easter Sunday in 2023, but a body language expert noticed that the family members appeared to naturally divide into two distinct groups. Here’s who fell into which group and where Princess Eugenie, the outlier, seemed to stand.

Not only did the royal family celebrate Easter together on Sunday, April 9, 2023, but they also took the opportunity to honor their wedding anniversaries. According to Brides, King Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles attended Easter Mass at St. George’s Chapel for the holiday along with other royals. On that same day in 2005 (18 years prior), King Charles and Camilla married at Windsor Guildhall and had a prayer service at St.

A royal expert says King Charles III might change his first Easter dinner as head of the royal family. Specifically, as it relates to the late Queen Elizabeth II’s rule about children at the dinner table.

Easter is very much a kid-focused holiday for the royal family, according to royal expert Ingrid Seward. “Not as large as it used to be,” the royal family’s Easter dinner has “always revolved around the children and grandchildren,” (via The Sun).
Held at Windsor Castle, Easter Day breakfast is especially kid-friendly with “decorated boiled eggs.” Additionally, “tiny gifts,” like “painted box or bunny,” are “exchanged but nothing expensive.”

Prince George is the future of the royal family. But it’s someone much further down the line of succession who is his “mentor and playmate.” A body language expert says Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 9-year-old son can count on his cousin, Savannah Phillips, for the “fun factor.”

Of all Queen Elizabeth II’s grandchildren — the late monarch had eight — one’s considered the “most tactile” person in the British royal family. According to a body language expert, it’s Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara Tindall, who is the “most gloriously tactile royal.”

Meghan Markle admitted that she didn’t have an easy time adjusting to life in the royal family. She also said she didn’t have support of others to help her navigate her role and the culture. But a body language expert is pointing out that someone else who married into the family was once in the same boat as the duchess and had a special link in common with Meghan.
So is it the Princess of Wales (formerly Kate Middleton) who married Prince William, Queen Consort Camilla (formerly Camilla Parker Bowles) who married King Charles, or Sophie who married Prince Edward? Actually, it’s the woman who married Queen Elizabeth’s favorite grandson.

When we see members of the royal family out and about in public, they’re usually always smiling. However, experts pointed out that many times their body language and demeanor can show something different than being so happy no matter how much they smile.
This was the case when one expert noticed the late Queen Elizabeth II‘s “favorite grandson” was faking smiles in photos with his ex.

Weddings can be nerve-wracking for any bride, but royal weddings can bring another set of pressures with how many eyes are on the couple for their big day. One royal bride admitted that she was actually “frightened” about saying “I do” when she married into the royal family.
Here’s who that was and why several royals, including Prince Harry, were furious about some of the pictures that were taken at the wedding.

Among Queen Elizabeth II’s grandchildren are four granddaughters; Zara Tindall, 41, Princess Beatrice, 34, Princess Eugenie, 32, and Lady Louise Windsor, 19. According to a body language expert, there’s a major “divide” between them thanks to their different “lifestyles.”

Country and city are the two categories the late monarch’s granddaughters fall in, according to body language expert Judi James.
“There is a very large, pronounced divide between the behaviour [sic], styling and body language of the late queen’s granddaughters,” she said (via Express).
Zara and Louise, the expert shared, “appear to have embraced a country lifestyle that includes a shared passion for horses.” Both are “skilled competitors as well as avid race-goers like their late grandmother.”

While King Charles III was in London to be formally proclaimed the new British monarch, his siblings and their families gathered near Balmoral Castle, Scotland, the home where their mother Queen Elizabeth II died. On Sept. 10, two days after her passing at age 96, her younger children Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Princess Anne and several of the her grandchildren were seen attending a private church service across a river from their late mom's most recent home. Andrew joined daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, Edward's wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and daughter Lady Louise Windsor, and Anne's husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence and children Peter Phillips and...

She may have been head of state for many countries, but Queen Elizabeth was just "Granny" to her grandkids throughout her lifetime. The monarch first became a grandmother back in 1977, when Princess Anne gave birth to Peter Phillips, and since then her brood grew to include eight grandchildren (plus 12 great-grandchildren).
Queen Elizabeth died on Sept. 8 at the age of 96, but her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will surely hold onto their memories of her. No matter how busy the queen's schedule was, she always seemed to make time to share a laugh and create special memories with her grandkids at family gatherings and official royal events.
