Anton Du Beke has denied that he is being lined up to replace Len Goodman on the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel - but has said he would not turn down the job.
The professional dancer told Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley on This Morning that he has not heard any rumours of Goodman quitting the show.
"Well, I know you said it's been in the papers, but I haven't heard any of this," he said. "I don't know what Len's going to do. As far as I'm aware, I don't think Len's not going to be doing it, but if they asked..."
Du Beke added that he is delighted to be acting as a guest judge on some of the 2015 Strictly Live shows, and joked that it could act as an "audition" for him.

Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Erin Boag has revealed that she is pregnant.
The dancer, who competed on all ten series of the BBC One show prior to the current one, explained that she decided to leave the show after discovering she was expecting her first child.

Strictly Come Dancing winner Harry Judd has criticised the show for axing some of the professional dancers this year.
The McFly star won the BBC One competition back in 2011 with partner Aliona Vilani, who was initially replaced for the new series before being rehired when Natalie Lowe injured her foot.
"Viewers get to know and love the stars so it was silly to get rid of the dancers this time for new ones we don't know," Judd told the Sunday Mirror.
"I've no idea who some of these dancers are now or why bosses alter things the way they do. There was some amazing talent when I won.
"I was especially upset for Aliona when she went. She was incredible. She's back now but I don't know why they got rid of her in the first place."

Showbiz correspondent Richard Arnold is the latest celebrity to be voted out of Strictly Come Dancing. Bruno Tonioli has certainly set his sights high for the next Strictly Come Dancing series.
The Italian stallion will be back on the reality TV panel, ready to judge dancing celebrities when the show returns to BBC One this autumn and on which stars he’d like to see in the lineup, Bruno told The Mirror that she wants some near royalty and the nation’s tabloid princess.
He said:
“I think Pippa Middleton would be a great booking for Strictly. That bum would look very sexual in a nice slinky dress. I can see her doing a slinky rumba. Maybe Cheryl Cole should do it too, she’s free now. Kimberley from Girls Aloud – she’s got personality and can give back.”
Brendan Cole wants a bit of Pippa’s rear end magic too and recently admitted that he’d love to partner Kate Middleton’s sister if she competed in the series.

Erin Boag has admitted that her ideal ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ partner would be the delectable Prince Harry.
The professional ballroom dancer – who has starred in all eight previous series’ of the BBC dance competition – has confessed that she would love the red headed royal to agree to appear on the show and of course, if he did, she’d want to partner him.

The show’s very own Mr Nasty Craig Revel Horwood recently commented that he’d also quite like to have Harry and his older brother William on the show because he thinks they would already have brushed up on their dance moves for William’s wedding to Duchess Catherine in April.

Boag, who was knocked out of the competitin with her celebrity partner Peter Shilton yesterday, claimed that the ex-Tory MP was "definitely" in with a chance of taking home the series crown. "I really think Ann could make the final of Strictly," she told Digital Spy. "I don't know whether she will win. "I think then the public would do the decent thing, you'd think? Peter Shilton was voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing' last night (24.10.10). The former England goalkeeper and professional dancer Erin Boag came bottom of the leader board after Saturday night's performance (23.10.10) of the Charleston and were booted off after a showdown with former Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams, who was temporarily dancing with Ian Waite as her regular partner Brendan Cole is on compassionate leave from the show. Speaking to the crowd, Peter said he would miss the show but not any of the judging panel - made up of Craig Revel Horwood, Len Goodman, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli. He said: ''I've ..

Peter Shilton has become the third celebrity eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing. The former England goalkeeper and professional partner Erin Boag failed to win round the public and the judges with their energetic Charleston. It was first revealed that Michelle Williams and professional partner Ian Waite, who is standing in for Brendan Cole following the death of his father, had finished in the bottom two for the second week running. However, when the full results were announced it was Shilton and Boag that stepped onto the floor for their final dance. Shilton, who admitted to being "disappointed" with his performance (more)...

In tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing results show Peter Shilton was voted off, becoming the third celebrity to leave the competition.
The judges’ scores left Peter and Michelle at the bottom of the leaderboard but the combination of the judges’ scores and viewer votes meant Peter Shilton and partner Erin Boag were eliminated.
Of Peter and Erin’s dance, the judges said:
Bruno Tonioli: “Oh Peter, what can I say… you looked like a penguin stuck in the mud! It couldn’t quite get going. It’s true, you’ve never done it before, and it’s tough because it requires the timing to be spot on, it has to have energy… and it didn’t really gel”.

Scott Maslen and Natalie Lowe put on what seemed to be a Dirty Dancing inspired salsa on tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing show.
The sexy Eastenders star pulled off the moves brilliantly and even performed a solo section with confidence that we wouldn’t have expected at this stage of the series.
Judges Comments:
Len: All the way through it I was going “go my son so!” Great hips, high energy, well done!
Bruno: So strong, so tight, so footloose. Always your eye on the prey because you know you’re going to get it!
Alesha: Nice to see you really going for it. You have proved that you are equally good at your latin as you are at your ballroom. Well done!
Craig: Flame grilled and red hot. That was really really hot!

Strictly Come Dancing contestant Peter Shilton was the second person to take to the big BBC dancefloor tonight.
The former football star took on the salsa with his partner Erin Boag and after we got over the extreme brightness of her hideous outfit, we realised that it was going to be a poor routine. Peter dances worse than my dad, after ten pints of beer, at a family wedding. I think that he even managed to make Erin look bad tonight!
Judges Comments:
Len: The salsa is all about fun, rhythm and hip action and we saw some fun and chemistry. But there was a lot of it when you were standing around for too long. It was a bar ave attempt but not your best. (5)

Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly trying to get rid of professional dancer Anton Du Beke before the 2010 series kicks off.
Planning a huge revamp for the autumn dance show, producers are said to be planning to replace many of the current pros with American dancers, however sources claim that they would prefer Du Beke to quit of his own accord.
“Our preference is that Anton decides he’s had a few good years on Strictly and wants to try something new,” a source told The News Of The World.
“We’d rather not get into another messy situation like we did with Arlene. But if he makes it clear he wants to come back then we’ll have to have some tough conversations.
“All the old guard of professional dancers need to be aware this show is changing for the better.”
