FromSoftware has become one of the most sought-after video game developers of modern times. They have single-handedly given the world a new genre of games. Besides that, every time they launch a new game, it’s something mind-blowing. From Demon’s Souls to Bloodborne to Elden Ring, none of these games have been a failure.
They have created a bunch of different games over the years, but they have also kept a few common things that tell gamers that they are playing a FromSoftware title. They like keeping themes common amongst games. They also like to bring a weapon back again and again in every game they play. But the standout amongst them all is this one character that is never absent from a FromSoftware Soulslike game.

Madame Web has just spun Sony’s most laughably pathetic entry in its Marvel universe to date, which now has Awfully Good Movies revisiting the previously most pathetic Sony-Marvel installment starring Jared Leto as the living vampire turned Internet laughing stock… Morbius!
With Venom 1 & 2 overcoming the haters to rake in big box office, Sony further exploited its share of the Spider-Man rights with Marvel and Disney with a solo film for Peter Parker’s vampiric foe that no one was asking for, with Jared Leto yet again making us reconsider his Oscar playing a thankfully less obnoxious comic book bad guy than the Joker. But even his Method dedication can’t liven up this pointless Spider-Man spinoff whose only connection to the MCU is a cameo from Michael Keaton as the Vulture that could have been a Zoom call, and whose only saving grace is Matt Smith as Morbius’ foster...

YouTuber-turned-boxers Jake Paul and Logan Paul who are popularly known as the Paul Brothers, have created a lot of noise in the boxing industry since their debut in 2020 and 2018 respectively.
The elder brother Logan made his boxing debut back in 2018 against another popular YouTuber and Boxer Ksi, the fight ended up in a draw and to everyone’s surprise, the fight was a complete sellout in the Manchester Arena.
Logan even made his WWE debut back in 2021 and last month he beat Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel to become the new United States Champion. Meanwhile, the younger brother Jake Paul has been knocking out some popular names left, right, and centre.

Six months after suffering his first defeat in the boxing ring, Jake Paul has earned a bounce-back win. In front of a sold-out crowd at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Paul defeated former UFC fighter Nate Diaz over ten rounds.
With the win, Paul improved his official boxing record to 7-1. Several of his wins have come against one-time UFC greats, such as Diaz, Tyron Woodley, and Anderson Silva. His only loss came this past February, when fellow influencer Tommy Fury handed him a split decision loss.
If there was any doubt that Paul was ready to move past his biggest in-ring disappointment, he made that intention clear as soon as his fight against Diaz began. The fighter known as “The Problem Child” came out swinging from the opening bell and nearly dropped Diaz in the first round. He did score a knockdown in the fifth round, but Diaz...

Jake Paul bounced back nicely from his first career loss.
Paul won a unanimous decision against Nate Diaz in a cruiserweight fight Saturday night.
The 26-year-old social media YouTube personality who has turned himself into a prizefighter clearly held the advantage for much of the 10-round event. However, Diaz, a mixed-martial arts fighter who left the UFC in 2022, was on the verge of a knockout at several moments.

Before Marvel Comics' "Spider-Man" made his debut in "Amazing Fantasy" #15 (1962), the first 'Spider' crime-fighter in pop fiction debuted in 1933, according to Steeger Properties, LLC who have amassed thousands of pulp magazine stories for licensing in all media, including film and TV adaptations:
Cover artists for "The Spider" magazine, publishing monthly from 1933 to 1943, included Walter M. Baumhofer, John Newton Howitt and Rafael De Soto.
'The Spider' was millionaire playboy 'Richard Wentworth', a former military 'Major' living in New York City, as the last surviving member of a filthy rich family.
His first costume was a black domino mask, hat and cape. Later he added vampire-like makeup, followed by a face mask with grizzled hair to terrorize the criminal underworld with The Spider's brand of vigilante justice.
Wentworth went undercover as an informant in the underworld, disguised as 'Blinky McQuade' to gain needed information.

Tommy Fury claimed victory in a highly anticipated boxing match against Jake Paul on Sunday by a split decision.
The British professional boxer and social media influencer-turned-boxer met in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. According to ESPN, although Paul put up a solid fight in the eight-round match, and even with Fury being knocked down in the final round, the Love Island star managed to outbox his opponent through the end.
“This is my first main event,” Fury said after the fight. “I’m only gonna go stronger, I’m gonna go bigger, I’m only gonna go better. … if he wants a rematch, bring it on.”
Tommy Fury
The match comes after years of calls on social media for the younger Paul brother to fight a “real” boxer. Paul has previously taken on and won against AnEsonGib, Nate Robinson, Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva — all of whom aren’t professional boxers.

Since he first stepped into the ring in 2018, Jake Paul has fought in six matches and won them all. The seventh official bout of his career will take place in Saudi Arabia on February 26, and if he earns another victory, he’ll begin a new chapter in his boxing career. Wbc President Mauricio Sulaiman has said that Paul will place in the cruiserweight world rankings should he defeat British reality star Tommy Fury.
Paul’s pugilistic proclivities have earned him the nickname “The Problem Child,” but in spite of his success, he has struggled to gain recognition from the mainstream boxing world. Several of his scheduled opponents — including Fury — have dropped out of matches with him. Those cancellations have denied him chances to advance his reputation in the ring, though he still has some impressive wins to his name. Last year, he took on UFC legend Anderson Silva and extended his unbeaten streak.

Participating in a fantasy franchise as big and beloved as HBO’s Game of Thrones inevitably means adopting a strange relationship with the public.
Surely not a day goes by when Emilia Clarke isn’t questioned about the location and health of Daenerys Targaryen’s dragons. And it will be a long time before Kit Harrington stops hearing “you know nothing, Jon Snow.” Still, when Matthew Needham (Endeavour) signed on to portray murderous gossipmonger Larys Strong in the Thrones prequel House of the Dragon, he couldn’t have possibly anticipated the moment that fans would eventually latch onto.

As one half of /Film's Scariest Scene Ever Boyz™ with Chris Evangelista, it's my pleasure to present the scariest movie moments of 2022. Yes, they're mostly horror films — but terrifying sequences can exist outside rigid horror boundaries. You might not be shocked to find "Smile" or "Barbarian" mentioned below, but what about the awards contender that starts things off? Or my favorite film of 2022 that no one's talking about coming in at the top spot? It's been a rock-solid year for being scared senseless. Let's go ahead and recount all the extra nightmares that cycled through my head.

An upcoming fight could pit two of the most inflammatory creators in the world against one another. Logan Paul and Andrew Tate have both expressed interest in an upcoming match, and Paul has gone so far as to claim the event “is going to happen.”
The elder Paul brother kicked off the influencer boxing trend when he battled Ksi in 2018. He later transitioned to wrestling and made his official WWE debut earlier this year. His career as a professional heel will continue when he takes on Roman Reigns on November 5.
A clash against Tate would likely bring Paul into a new venue: The Octagon. That’s the theater of battle that Tate — a former pro kickboxer-turned-controversial social media commentator — would prefer. “If the terms are fair to both parties, I will fight Logan in the cage and destroy him,” Tate said in response to Paul’s initial challenge.

This article contains spoilers for "House of the Dragon" episode six.
For all of the politicking, backstabbing, and violence in "House of the Dragon" thus far, there hasn't been a clear villain. The two women at the center of the tale, Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) and Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy), are both presented as complex figures that are neither entirely good or evil. Like its predecessor, "Game of Thrones," the series is interested in moral ambiguity and on the horrible things people will do in order to survive. In episode six, "The Princess and the Queen," the series' most potent, potentially terrifying villain emerges from the shadows. Larys Strong, played to perfection by Matthew Needham, is another of George R. R. Martin's secretive schemers, but he has already shown himself to be far more ruthless than Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) or Varys (Conleth Hill) could ever dream.

Paul, who is still undefeated as a professional boxer, will face longtime UFC titleholder Anderson Silva. Another influencer will be featured as part of the undercard: Mike Varshavski, known online as Doctor Mike, will take on professional fighter Chris Avila.
Most Valuable Promotions is organizing the event, which will take place at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona. For Paul, the clash with Silva will be a long-awaited return to professional boxing. After defeating Tyron Woodly for the second time last year, the younger Paul brother scheduled a bout against Hasim Rahman Jr., but the seasoned pro dropped out after he refused to go down to 200 lbs. for the fight.
In May, Varshavski outlasted Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Washburn in the main card of an influencer boxing event called the Creator Clash. Now, he’ll make his professional debut against Avila,...

The best in show just got even better.
“The American Rescue Dog Show” has added Paula Abdul, Leslie Jordan and Yvette Nicole Brown as celebrity “ex-paw-t” judges, ABC announced Thursday.
The show features rescued pups from around the country as they “strut their fluff” and compete for a series of titles, including best in underbite, best in snoring, best in belly rubs and more. For each winning dog in the seven categories, a 10,000 donation will be made by Petco Love to a local animal welfare organization. Each category winner will compete for the title of best in rescue, which will culminate in a 100,000 donation.

Donald Trump To Provide Boxing Commentary For Triller’s Evander Holyfield-Vitor Belfort Bout On 9/11
Donald Trump has long fancied himself a boxing expert.
In the ’90s, he put on the Mike Tyson-Michael Spinks bout at his Atlantic City casino. As the 45th President of the United States, he pardoned heavyweight champion Jack Johnson in an Oval Office ceremony attended by Lennox Lewis, Deontay Wilder and Sylvester Stallone. He also claimed to have won $20 million betting on Evander Holyfield when he upset Mike Tyson in 1996, though no sports book could ever confirm Trump placed such a bet.
That last story may surface again on Saturday, when the former president will “provide guest commentary” for the heavyweight boxing match between former champion Holyfield, 58, and former UFC champ Vitor Belfort, 44. The bout is set for Saturday, September 11 at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida. It’s promoted by Triller, the social media platform co-owned by former Relativity Media boss Ryan Kavanaugh.

The Superhero Kung Fu Extravaganza panel is on at the virtual San Diego Comic Con right now and Well Go USA wanted to share their all-new trailer for Fruit Chan’s 2019 feature “Invincible Dragon,” an exclusive debut as a part of the panel presentation.
When a brilliant but trigger-happy detective is outsmarted by a serial killer, he pays a high price for his momentary lapse in judgment. Robbed of both his fiancée and his job, he soon spirals out of control and goes back to what he knows best: fighting. Unbeknownst to him, a serendipitous reunion with an old rival (Brazilian mixed martial artist Anderson Silva) may be the key to unlocking the truth about his fiancée’s disappearance—and to apprehending the killer.
Well Go USA will debut “Invincible Dragon” in North America on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital on October 6.

"This dragon... how exquisite." Well Go USA has released the official US trailer for a martial arts action movie titled The Invincible Dragon, which originally opened in theaters in China last year. Martial arts superstar Max Zhang plays Kowloon, an eccentric police inspector renowned for his dragon tattoos and, legend has it, his childhood encounter with a nine-headed dragon. "A marvelous detective whose career is blighted by his impulsively violent behavior towards criminals, Kowloon is soon demoted and sent to work in a remote police station." After a series of murders of Hong Kong policewomen, Kowloon is invited back to crack the case – only to lose track of his colleague and fiancée in mysterious circumstances. It's described as "a darkly comic police thriller wrapped around a serial killer mystery, punctuated by a cheeky voice-over narration that adds a touch of the fairy tale to the gritty proceedings." Also stars Anderson Silva,...

There is something fascinating about having a director who has become known for independent and/or arthouse films directing a movie that falls under the action category, with Hou Hsiao-hsen’s “The Assassin” and Wong Kar-wai’s “The Grandmaster” being two of the most distinct samples. In that regard, I was somewhat eager to watch Fruit Chan’s effort in the martial arts genre, despite the fact that most of his studio-produced movies were mediocre, to say the least. Max Zhang’s presence, who has been groomed for Donnie Yen’s place in Hk/Chinese action cinema since the aforementioned film, the script that also followed in that direction, the big budget, and Anderson Silva’s presence all pointed towards a movie, which, even if it ended up being a flick, it would at least be impressive and entertaining. Alas…

Tragic news for anyone who’s sick of superhero movies: “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” completely reinvigorates the genre, reaffirms why it’s resonating with a diverse modern audience that’s desperate to fight the power, and reiterates to us how these hyper-popular spandex myths are able to reinvent themselves on the fly whenever things get stale. Just when it seemed like “Infinity War” might be the culmination of a cultural phenomenon, that Stan Lee’s death could symbolize the end of an era, and that “Turn Off the Dark” was always going to be the silliest possible subtitle for a Spider-Man adaptation, along comes a delirious postmodern spectacle to remind us that these movies will exist for as long as people need to see themselves reflected in them. Sometimes, that can feel like a threat. Watching “Into the Spider-Verse,” it’s more like a promise.
