Timothée Chalamet had a dream run at the box office, with his last two films Wonka and Dune: Part Two earning huge numbers globally. The actor has become one of the biggest stars in Hollywood right now and has a slate of high-profile projects in the pipeline. His next project is the James Mangold-directed Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown.
Chalamet has reportedly decided to use his own singing voice in the biopic instead of lip-syncing to Dylan’s songs. The actor had also flexed his vocal cords in last year’s musical comedy Wonka. A statement from director Paul King about Chalamet’s singing talents might be the reason why Mangold was sure of the Call Me By Your Name star playing Bob Dylan.

“Thank you! I’ve gotten so many kind messages from all over the world, but a lot of people have asked if my pacemaker will cause any problems with Fubar Season 2,” Schwarzenegger wrote on social media. “Absolutely not. Production is now underway on “A Complete Unknown,” the coming Bob Dylan feature directed by James Mangold and starring Timothée Chalamet as the iconic American musician. Set photos from the New York City shoot have emerged online, offering a first look at the 28-year-old actor in costume.
“A Complete Unknown” will follow Dylan’s emergence in the New York folk music scene during the 1960s after the singer-songwriter moving from Minnesota to New York.
In the first look from set, Chalamet can be seen wearing an old-looking scarf and layering up with some gloves and a thick jacket. Looks like a snowy day in New York for young Bob Dylan. Of course, he’s lugging around a guitar too.
Along with Chalamet, the cast for “A Complete Unknown” is also reported to include Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, Nick Offerman as Alan Lomax and Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash.

How does it feel to be on your own, with no direction home, a complete unknown? Timothée Chalamet knows and now we’re starting to see it as well, as the actor has been spotted in full Bob Dylan garb during the filming of A Complete Unknown.
As the images show, Chalamet is decked out in blue jeans, a green jacket, a scarf, and a hat, lugging around an acoustic guitar in an old case. This definitely puts him in the early 1960s, undoubtedly the most defining time in Bob Dylan’s life (with due respect to his Christmas album…).

Timothée Chalamet has suggested creating a “musical cinematic universe” with his friend and Dune: Part Two co-star, Austin Butler, joking that Butler’s Elvis Presley could make an appearance in his upcoming Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown.
The comments came in a new interview with the two actors by NME, in which Chalamet said that he’s been “picking Austin’s brain nonstop” to learn more about the actor’s notoriously in-depth process. For his part, Butler said “It’s just so cool to get to discuss process and talk through things. I can’t wait for that film. I wish I could be on set every day, and just watch the magic happen.”
Chalamet then jumped in, saying “I wish you were in it” to Butler. “There’s an Elvis character in the Johnny Cash biopic [Walk the Line],” he continued. “I was kinda wishing we could create a musical cinematic universe.

Winter’s cold edge remained strong in the City of Lights. However, that didn’t stop hundreds from turning up at the Dior Fall Winter 2024 women’s ready-to-wear show Tuesday in Paris to see celebrities and the who’s who of fashion enter an enormous white box-like edifice situated right in the middle of Jardin des Tuileries.
As guests entered into the building, the first thing they encountered was bamboo cascading around the room forming a square shape, and also crisscrossing from the ceiling, as well as bamboo figures set in the middle of the room. The installation was devised by Indian artist Shakuntala Kulkarni, but dreamt up by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the house’s haute couture and women’s ready-to-wear creative director. Before the lights were turned down low, fanfare surrounded actors Jennifer Lawrence (wearing a deep v-neck waistcoat) and Anya Taylor-Joy as they sat together. While Maisie Williams,...

Paramount Global’s streaming service Paramount+ is removing some international original content across its markets and will not debut some planned programming sourced outside the U.S. as part of the entertainment giant’s goal of “managing costs” and “maximizing content with the biggest impact,” including a focus on big U.S. studio franchises and a reduction in local, international originals.
On Wednesday, Paramount+ in foreign markets started removing such international original fare as the film At Midnight, starring Top Gun: Maverick breakout Monica Barbaro, Brazilian series Marcelo, Marmelo, Martelo, and U.K. drama No Escape.
In addition, some international content previously set to debut on the streamer across markets will not launch on it, including German thriller series Turmschatten, Italian series Miss Fallaci, which tells “the true story of one of the most controversial Italian and international journalism icons,” Oriana Fallaci and

Exclusive: Range founding partners Susie Fox, Mackenzie Roussos and Chelsea Mckinnies are departing the management company they were involved in launching more than three years ago. The trio resigned today, sources tell Deadline. Their destination is unclear, we hear it would likely be Management 360.
Rumors have been flying this week that Fox, Roussos and Mckinnies have been taking meetings amid contract negotiations with Range, where their deals were coming up. A number of potential suitors including management company 2Am — which is financially backed by A24 — Brillstein Entertainment Partners, WME, UTA and CAA have been being bandied about, with speculation about the trio potentially joining Management 360 intensifying during the past couple of days. Sources say the process is in exploratory stages.
Fox, Roussos and Mckinnies went to Range from UTA. Before that, all three had been at CAA, leaving the agency around the mass agent exodus to UTA in spring 2015. Fox started her career at Mosaic.

Hot on the heels of a critically acclaimed turn in Richard Linklater’s festival entry Hit Man, Glen Powell is the new “It” man for Brioni.
Brioni — the luxury fashion house founded in Rome in 1945 by master tailor Nazareno Fonticoli and business partner Gaetano Savini — has tapped Powell to front a new campaign to promote its “bespoke experience.” Shot in Los Angeles by photographer Gregory Harris, the black-and-white images (and short film) feature Powell in a selection of bespoke fits styled to echo “the timelessness of Brioni’s tailoring and the depth of heritage attached to the house’s DNA.” Bespoke tailoring is offered by Brioni through appointment and the process typically takes four weeks after an initial measuring session.
Powell’s campaign comes after a series of high-profile outings for the veteran actor. He starred opposite Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Jon Hamm, Monica Barbaro, Lewis Pullman, Jay Ellis and...

Glen Powell teamed up with his “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Devotion” co-stars on Wednesday as they hit the picket lines outside Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California in support of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
Powell, 34, shared some photos from his march, including a group shot featuring “Maverick” co-stars Tarzan Davis, Monica Barbaro, Danny Ramirez, and Lewis Pullman, as well as his “Devotion” cast mates Spencer Neville and Nick Hargrove.
Another snapshot sees Powell posing next to writer and producer Jono Matt, known for his work on “Glee”. Upon joining forces with the WGA striker, Powell held up a clever sign featuring a “Glee” meme of Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) that reads: “This is an outrage, and it will not stand.”

Director James Mangold is set to direct his upcoming feature film ‘A Complete Unknown’ based on the legendary singer Bob Dylan.
According to the ‘Logan’ director, Bob Dylan was incredibly supportive of the movie to the point that he personally went on to offer notes.
Speaking on the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast, Mangold said, “I’ve spent several, wonderfully charming, days in his company, just one-on-one, talking to him. I have a script that’s personally annotated by him and treasured by me. He loves movies. The first time I sat down with Bob, one of the first things he said to me was, ‘I love ‘Cop Land’.”
‘Cop Land’ was Mangold’s second film. According to ‘Variety’, Mangold said that one of the reasons the folk singer was supportive of the film was “The reason Bob has been so supportive of us making it, is it’s about, as...
