Yes, yes the cameo was a shock, but did you notice THIS?
jddv5 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Monica Rambeau just gained her super powers. We were so shocked by Evan Peters' cameo, most of us missed it. After being medically x-rayed, Monica's x-ray image shown is mostly light. So it looks like she has been changed to energy, now, after passing through the photon/ neutron cosmic barrier twice. Also, the medic says she needs another blood-draw for her labs. For some background, according to Wikipedia, Monica Rambeau debuted in The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #16 as the second Captain Marvel and she gained super powers after being bombarded by extradimensional energy, produced by an energy disruptor weapon. The character joined and eventually became leader of the Avengers for a time. She has also been known as Photon, Pulsar and beginning in 2013, Spectrum. Akira Akbar portrayed young Monica Rambeau in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Captain Marvel. Teyonah Parris portrays the adult version of Rambeau in the Disney+ series WandaVision and will appear also in Captain Marvel 2.

So, onto next weeks' episode where I'm expecting Halloween, with Vision & Scarlet Witch in their comic book costumes as an homage. Vision to discover the barrier, break through it, emerge on the other side & instantly revert to being dead. This will lead to Wanda freaking out, blaming S.W.O.R.D. & THAT my friends will be where it gets REALLY interesting! Enjoy ;)

I mean are we really surprised? They never miss

Trust in Kevin Feige. What started out as a "disappointment" to some fans has turned into a straight banger of a series. If this is what's in store for phase 4 take all my money.

Worth the wait
natehzick5 February 2021
For what I get to watch now, waiting two to three episodes of still fun content is ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. This show showed who has patience and who doesn't. It showed who's in this for the instant gratification, and who's in this for the long haul, and a build up that is absolutely paying off like I never expected.

I dont think Wanda is in control of everything....
nedim-137536 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The more show goes, the more I think Wanda is not in control of everything here. First and maybe too obvious sign was this episode where se is in argument with Vision about controling people. Why would she straight up lie? But what really gives me suspicion are those hydra ads from first few episodes. Why would Wanda create hydra commercials? Makes literally 0 sense. Also this version of quicksilver is from our standpoint iz bizzare. I doubt they will just pretend xmen were part of this universe. This show raised more question with "revealing" stuff lol. Anyway, absolute delight of a show 10/10

So many more mysteries.
d-templeton5 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This week's episode was simply fantastic. Time has sped up in the form of the sit com out put and the ageing of the boys. Vision is starting to unravel the truth but Wanda remains in denial that she is total control. It is unclear whether she is being manipulated by someone.

Agnes' role remains mysterious but she is definitely significant.

Every time a question is answered, two more mysteries are brought to the forefront.

I have to say this is the most engaging series I have seen since Game of Thrones. I'm desperate for the next episode!

Holy mother of FOX!
rajarshig-387215 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Say what you want, think what you can. It's not Wanda, or any villain who is in control of anything. It's simply Kevin Feige's world and we are living in it. Crazy stuff all throughout and I can only gasp at the vision the man has! Went and recast Pietro with a better version from another universe. Woah! This man can go anywhere he wants. This only makes me wait more eagerly for Spiderman 3! Fantastic episode.

Even better than last week's episode
aarongnr5 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I'm really excited to see where this is going. We're made believe that Wanda is in control of everything, but is she? She's definitely in control of something, and she does not want this fantasy to stop, but is she the one that initiated all of this?

That final scene was AWESOME.

WATCH THIS SHOW
grantisaac-285835 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The amazing character development from Wanda proceeds in this weird and wonderful episode. We are shown more supernatural elements of Wanda and are rooting for someone who, in my opinion, in portrayed as an antagonist in this show, Wanda.

This episode closely looks at the theme of 'playing God' or controlling life and further shows that nobody should be able to act like God, except God, and even Wanda, who is acting like a puppet-master in this show, understands this.

I love the advertisements that happen in every episode that links back to Wanda's past, in this episode is was about LAGOS which of course links back to the opening scene of 'Civil War'. The slogan acts as a conclusion of the events in the scene of the 3rd Captain America film as well which creates an enticing feeling for us as the audience, as we see this show link back to previous MCU films.

This episode wasn't as good as the previous episode but still a really good, weird and entertaining piece of television

KEEP IT UP.

Starting to pick up more
oldchummer5 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
While I wasn't particularly shocked that Wanda is creating her own sitcom reality out of her own grief from losing Vision, it is interesting seeing them turn Wanda into a more villainous character because of it. She's taken a whole town hostage to live in her reality, controlling their own consciousness including Vision's. It's apparent she doesn't seem entirely in control either. The end cameo is quite something too. Evan Peters' version of Pietro from the X-Men movies appears at the end, but it's unclear whether this is a nod to the fans or whether this is actually part of the multiverse being teased in the Doctor Strange and Spider-Man movies. I feel they could've started the series at episode 4, and it would've been more effective. The first three episodes drag a bit and don't contribute too greatly to the overall pacing of the actual plot since we get all the information we need in 4 & 5. I know people disagree with this, but I can't help but feel the other episodes were there to act as filler.

It's okay....

The fanboys are out of control, or the studio straight up hired people to do reviews. It's good, but it's far from great. Enjoy it for what it is - especially if you're familiar with the Marvel Universe.

What a show! What an episode! This is television at its finest!

However, the entire time watching it, I'm thinking to myself, why don't they just call the Avengers?

Also, that ending!!

Marvels plays the long game
emmijgertson6 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Since Days of Future Past (2014) was released there has been a lot of speculation that X-Men and Marvel really would have a cross over. Well I'll be darned of Marvel isn't in this for the long haul! This episode was full of great moments where we get to see Wanda when she returns from the Snap and Blip, after the Endgame battle, and now dealing with that insane amount of trauma she carries. I love a show that makes you pay attention to every detail even years down the road. I highly recommend watching the episodes again to catch things you missed or going back and looking again now that we know more. If we know anything about Marvel it's that the details matter. Side note- my favorite conversation was between Woo, Darcy, and Rambeau about Captain Marvel and Wanda taking on Thanos. A great conversation I've had with myself many times during this year of quarantine.

You didn't see that coming...
marchumim5 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The reason I wasn't very fond of last episode is because it felt like all of the answers to all of our questions were being thrown at the screen at once. However, I think that was for best, as we're now able to see both perspectives of the story, and the previous "slow burn" style of the preceding episodes can be put to rest. And as a result, this episode is, in my opinion, the best of the five so far.

What I love about this episode is how easily the storylines merge with each other. Previously, WandaVision felt held back by the mysteries of Westview, but now this show can finally be put in full swing. The mystery is still heavily present in the story, but now our perspective has shifted to the same as S.W.O.R.D's, which I think is a brilliant idea that allows the surprises, plot twists, and cliffhangers to continue to be an effective tool for surprise, but without the vague and misleading format of the more sitcom-situated episodes.

I'm more excited than ever to see where this mini-series can go, especially with this week's reveal, having the potential to connect with future MCU films (I'm sure you can guess which one). Fully on board with this show.

How did they know who came closest to killing Thanos? Like, was ESPN covering the battle live? This made me chuckle after the fact.

Regardless, outstanding episode and can't wait for what's to come.

Whilsts I have loved every episode put out by wandavision this one takes the cake a mix of sword and sitcom is utter brilliance. Elizabeth olsen steals the show with some great acting from Kathryn Hahn, Paul Bettany, Teyonna Paris and Kat Dennings. This episode is the middle ground of outrageous sit com and normal marvel and it is by far the best one yet.

ABSOLUTELY MINDBLOWING!!
narcisojuncedrick6 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The cameo from Peter is unexpected, I thought it will be Aaron. That said, if we are going to assume that Peter Evans' Quicksilver is still a part of Fox's Universe then we can assume that MCU and Fox's Universe are merging or colliding, which is incredible.

Plus, how did I miss the sudden reference to creation of Spectrum? Monica just gain her superpower and I am expecting to further explore it on the next Captain Marvel movie.

And, is Monica pertaining to Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic of Fantastic Four when she stated that she knows an Aerospace engineer who is up for the challenge? I don't know but I am expecting it is because Marvel just tease for an upcoming Fantastic Four film.

The best by far...
spiderdib5 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I just gotta say that this series is already undoubtedly awesome for it to HANDLE THAT MIND BLOWING CAMEO...for real though, if they are presenting Pietro from X-Men not for introducing them into the whole MCU they'll be wasting the greatest idea ever. Evan Peters as Pietro is iconic and necessary.

Wow we're really getting somewhere
Kingslaay7 February 2021
WandaVision is really picking up. We have seen through the whole sitcom facade and so has Vision. I never knew Wanda was so powerful to create her own universe within the universe. One of reasons I like this show is the echoes and similarities to the Truman show. Ironically in real life so many documentaries focus on the harsh lives behind the scenes of beloved sitcoms, we learn these years later. Now we see a different spin on this. Wanda is conscious of this trap she has a whole town under and is happy to go on like this.

I watched a different show!
Little-c5 February 2021
Still bored, zero laughs (except that highly irritating canned nonsensical racket) and about 30 seconds maximum of moving forward with the story arc. I can't work out what it is everyone loves! Sitting there for a mind numbingly boring 20+ minutes of just nothing for a second of something to grab you, then, wait a week for them to do it all again! What is funny? How is it funny? That weird woman spraying babies with lavender is hysterically, side splitting humour is it? Wtf!
