I expected it to be more... unique
arandomperson-7106 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I thought this episode would be so much more. I didn't care for the theories, but for a show so unique, so boundary pushing: it fell flat.

The pros: 1: Wanda and Visions goodbye was beautiful and heartbreaking 2: Both post credits 3: Wanda is the Scarlet Witch The cons: 1: They really screwed up Agatha and made her 1d 2: The fights were generic and... ok, I guess 3: Vision vs Vision talk was boring 4: Why did you waste so many characters? Jimmy, Darcy, Hayward, White Vision, even Monica to some extent 5: No consequences for Wanda 6: A generic MCU episode

The problem I really had is that the series has been building up so much to this episode, and it was so unique, but if fell flat. New villain Agatha? One dimensional and already done with two episodes after her introduction. They wasted characters, and for a show I've loved so much and expected so much of it fell flat.

Everything i expected to happen, did not happen, but it was an Amazing Finale !
Tv-Addict19915 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I Don´t Review the Series Finale negative, because the Things i thought would happen, didnt happen

It was an Amazing Conclusion of the Series, an Satisfying Ending to the whole Story

No Mephisto..... No X-Men....... No Doctor Strange

But it doesnt matter that these things werent in the Finale

It Was a very satisfying conclusion to the whole story, a goodbye from Wanda to her love , Vision

I think there are going to be a lot of negative reviews because of the things that werent involved in the finale, but see the whole Series as Wanda´s Story of Griev, of Loss and how to deal with it

Nice little Tease at both End Credit Scenes

h_chucky835 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A movie quality season finale, great CGI, great acting, emotional ending and amazing sound track.. Just everything you want to see in a Marvel ending.

Things we will be looking for : Wanda's upgraded/hidden powers. Monica's new powers and her role in the mcu.

Two questions that we demand answers for : Where did white Vision go? And who in the world is Ralph??

"I am Vision"
XweAponX6 March 2021
This "White Vision" vs "Colour Vision" thing comes from the 1994-1995 Vision mini series from Marvel comics. But other than a fight, that is just about where any similarity ends.

The things that are different are the origins of this "White Vision", and also the nature of their fight. Here, "White Vision" was created by Hayward, and he had a pretty nefarious reason for doing it.

The thing that is common here, it is all about identity. Who is the real Vision? Which is why they bring in the "ship of Theseus" allusion. It has to do with memory. Which one of these "Visions" is the real one? You have to remember that one of them is not created out of original material. But the other one, is. However, neither of them have access to the memories that identify who Vision really is. That is where the real struggle is and that is also where WandaVision is a little bit superior to the original Scarlet Witch and Vision miniseries. This show takes elements from those books and puts it all together here, under one roof.

In that aspect of "Memory" is the resolution of this Vision v Vision fight different than in the comic book miniseries, but only how the resolution was brought about. The end result was the same.

The comic book version of the Vision is different than the Marvel cinematic universe Vision, in the comic books it wasn't only Ultron's identity and Jarvis' programming (and the Mindstone) that went into the mixture that created the Vision, they also had access to "Simon Williams" memories, who was also known as "Wonder Man". And Ultron's fate in The comic books was not merely destruction as it was in "age of Ultron," eventually he becomes an ally of sorts to the Vision...

Just like this series sets up Agatha Harkness as an eventual ally to "The Scarlet Witch". Which I suspected would happen but you don't really need to know how it actually happens. And, it hasn't happened yet.

This show wraps up a lot of the conflict but it also starts up new questions, that will possibly be answered in the other new shows that are going to be shown this year. I was kind of disappointed that Darcy's involvement was truncated.

This was a great start. I understand now, it would be difficult to continue this show in the same way because basically, "WandaVision" has run through its course, the series within the series has ended.

It took me weeks to rummage through my comic books and locate my Scarlet Witch and Vision comics.

Now, when it comes to the inevitable confrontation between Agatha and Wanda, in the comic books it is not Agatha that Wanda fights with, it is a nexus being named Lore. And all I can say about that is that, that particular fight pretty much follows the comic book but as far as what actually happens, well you are just going to have to watch this mind blowing season finale. But they definitely absconded with a lot of the imagery from the actual comic books, and used it here.

If you're disapointed its your fault.
padraigmcgrath-446445 March 2021
Most of the bad reviews are from people who believed every theory and rumour they read online. The show answers nearly everything we we're wondering about and leaves enough for Doctor Strange 2.

WandaVision gives us an ending that officially awakens Phase 4 of the MCU
iniesta2625 March 2021
WandaVision provides us with thrilling emotion that will bring great joy to many of its main characters, yet divide many viewers on the sum of it's comic book parts. A ending that gave us many of the MCU's strengths and helps fans love Wanda and Vision even more. The post credit scenes are quite a delight as well. The world of the MCU feels more vibrant and helps viewers increase their anticipation levels for the next chapter of this beloved never ending story.

"We'll say hello again."
liajames5 March 2021
What an exquisite ending. Absolutely beautiful. Whoever planned that shot moving around the corner to Wanda's house as it pushes through the window with the Hex surrounding it deserves an award. Everything in that moment was perfect - the performances, the score, the effects, the camera work - for a few moments it all came together like a symphony. Nice going.

I have to say I wasn't fond of this show at the start, but because of this amazing finale I'm glad I watched it.

I'm Not Crying. You are Crying!

Have no words for this emotional finale after a gopod load of action. I think it was the perfect way to end the series and somewhere I knew this would happen but the way it has been performed on screen did make me so emotional.

PS, the two end credit scenes are just mind blowing!

Disappointed, but that doesn't make it bad
JoshMac826 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
So... all in all I liked the episode. The fight scenes were a little awkward CGI-wise at times, but I still liked them. It's just... I feel like if this was a 10 episode series, it'd be better and they wouldn't have to rush. The biggest disappointments for me were as follows:

1. The biggest one is that Evan Peters was just some guy... they KNEW fans were going to speculate multiverse X-Men, because it was WAY too obvious. But the fact that it wasn't, makes it a slap in the face. Not because it's not Pietro, but it's like they went out of their way to hype us up and then intentionally disappoint us.

2. Monica was set up to show her full scale abilities, but... she just... got shot and didn't die. We didn't even get to get her thoughts on her own abilities. Also, sidenote, I though Hayward was a decent antagonist, but he kind of became randomly and awkwardly evil and sadistic.

3. Wanda is super powerful, but it doesn't make sense why she'd remember or know how to cast rune spells. Visually it looked good, but it was weird plotwise. There was also an awkward moment with Olsen's acting when she was looking up at Agnes conversing. Just my opinion on that. She also faced like no consequences for torturing those people. AND if they made a tenth episode, the "goodbye" could have been a lot more emotional and powerful, but she accepted it too quickly.

I did really like every scene with Vision. I loved seeing full out Scarlet Witch. Overall the series is a 7.5 for me, but this finale was a bit of a let down and I don't think its my fault.

INTENSE AND BEAUTIFUL
Ben-920155 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Just wow. This finale had everything any fan of this show and of marvel could ever want. From the breathtaking visuals and chaotic fights to the poignant and sad ending where wanda has to depart from her loved ones once again. The amount of greatness was too much to describe in all honesty! I don't think I have seen a series finale to that standard in a VERY long time. It wrapped all the events in west view cleanly while also setting up future movies (multiverse is coming!!). The whole show was about dealing with grief and overcoming it and this finale definitely served. ALSO: just wanna say I literally jumped and cheered out of my seat with the costume reveal. Doesn't she just look amazing in it

Well.. that was.. something
taylorsimon-541569 March 2021
This felt like a wasted opportunity to bring home an otherwise brilliant show. It needed two more episodes, more time spent on Vision's arc, more reason to justify Wanda's inner change, and less irrelevant theatrics.

I genuinely loved this show so much. But the ending just turned into a generic marvel movie
zachcreaghcoen5 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This has to be the most unique and interesting thing to come out of marvel in years. And it was fantastic. I loved every minute of the first 8 episodes. But for me the final episode threw all of that our the window. It make Agatha a boring villain with the same "give me your power so I can be stronger" intentions. Nothing unique about that. Then when Monica said "they don't know what you had to do For them" it completely lost me. She's the one that's been thats been mind controlling them for weeks and as we found out last week no one manipulated her into doing it. Maybe I was expecting too much. But I was so so disappointed with how this ended. Just back to the generic marvel laser fights i guess.

People are gonna be mad but
josephbarnhurst5 March 2021
This show set out to tell the story of one woman and her grief, and that's exactly what it did. Yeah I'm a little disappointed some of my theories weren't accurate, but ultimately the show did what it tried to do

Scarlet Witch In The Multiverse Of Madness
robertnecula5 March 2021
My Favorite MCU Project, they delivered us the best finale for all of us. Everything is clarified (almost) but some new questions are rising. They managed almost everything under 50 min. that's pretty impressive. Let The Madness Begin...

I love the creativity that went in this show and these 9 weeks have been a truly awesome ride. Props for keeping it coherent, given all the chaos magic. Can't wait to see what the future of these characters behold.

Misleading episode title
mattrabbi5 March 2021
This episode was great... as a season finale. It mostly wraps up the main events of WandaVision.

The thing that's confusing people, I think, is the assumption that this was supposed to provide complete closure, which it definitely wasn't. This whole series is only the BEGINNING of the fourth phase of the MCU. I think that this finale is a lot more acceptable if it's considered as the SEASON finale, and that Doctor Strange 2 should be considered as Season 2 of this show, or a continuation.

Otherwise, this episode had lots of satisfying action, loved the Scarlet Witch look and the battle between the two Visions. The rest of the series as a whole was a great concept, and I can't wait to look back on it with future MCU content!

"nO mULtiVerSe" "nO cAMeOs"

Yeah its your own fault for building up hype out of random speculation Youtube videos.

The show stayed true to what it was and what it set up. Great ending, and can't wait to see the continuation in Doctor Strange 2 and Spider Man 3.

A unique show ending up with your typical Marvel CGI fight
aarongnr5 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I was hoping for alittle more, to be honest. Not for any of these crazy theories to come true or anything, but for something more... unique. This was really run off the mill MCU. Feels like I've seen something like it a 1000 times.

It's not bad, it's just that I've come to expect a unique ending to a unique show, but that's just not what we got.

Wanda gets away way too easy for what she did in my opinion.

And of course, as we came to expect from the Marvel fake-death-universe, Vision has his memories magically restored, even after Wanda said "I don't feel you". That scene is now completely pointless and looses all gravitas, because clearly, he was in there.

Anyway, looking forward to Falcon and Winter Soldier now.

Lots of action and some answers but not all the ones we wanted. DROP YOUR THEORIES. THIS SHOW IS THE SCARLET WITCH ORIGIN STORY
harry-345185 March 2021
This episode is amazing but devastating, the action was amazing and there where some amazing reveals. I also found people with theories are more likely to be disappointed by this episode so I dropped all of mine. Also this show is a scarlet witch origin story

Marginally disappointed
willhardwick5 March 2021
I thought the last third of the finale was really good. Emotional and powerful. The first two thirds though just didn't grab me at all. Felt very generic and for a show that has pushed the boundaries so much until this point, it was underwhelming to see it go the way of so many other Marvel products with CGI fights and explosions that never felt like they carried any weight or had any stakes. Still a decent episode and a very good series overall

So disappointing
iagrmc6 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
So frustrating. I could care less about fan theories, so I'm truly not mad that things didn't end as I thought they would. I really didn't have any particular expectations other than I hoped they'd do something really interesting and original and they didn't. It was a couple of big fights and we didn't get any cool cameos and X-Men Quicksilver isn't actually a part of the MCU after all and Wanda is Scarlett Witch now and who cares. I don't know, the show wasn't terrible by any means but in the end, the way it ended felt so typically MCU that I just can't shake the feeling of disappointment with it all.

Great Finale, Keeps you wanting more.
ashikcse8 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This was Wanda's story. This wasn't about busting open the multiverse or bringing in the devil. This was about developing and introducing the Scarlet Witch. This was about giving this broken character a chance to heal. So remember that before you speak on the finale.
