Just when I thought Wonder Woman may be the only good DC Extended Universe movie coming out soon, one of the panelists, Sasha Perl-Raver, on a recent episode of Schmoes Know is alluding to Wonder Woman being as convoluted as Batman v Superman. Take this with a grain of salt, as Schmoes Know is not usually associated with scoops, and in theory, this is one person's opinion. Check this quote out from their inside source as featured in episode #265 at the 1:41:30 video mark below.
"So, I don't want to throw anyone under the bus. We have somebody within our community who has gotten insider information that broke my effing heart this week, because I have tremendous belief that Wonder Woman is gonna be awesome and I heard it stinks from the same person who told me that they heard that BvS stinks...The person who I spoke to.

After a disappointing start to the DC Extended Universe with two critical flops in a row (Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad), 2017 looks to be the year that Warner Bros. gets their plan back on track. The studio has two major releases arriving in the near future which look to turn things around and hopefully give us something a whole lot better than what we’ve seen so far.
Of course, we’re referring to Justice League and Wonder Woman. We’re still quite far off from both, so it’s hard to say for sure whether or not they’ll be hits, but things are definitely looking positive at this stage. That’s why it pains us to report that unfortunately, the DC Extended Universe may be facing a lot more trouble coming down the pipeline. At least, if Schmoes Know are to be believed, that is.

The folks over at Schmoes Know tend to be a little hit and miss in terms of scoops, but this one is well worth paying attention to seeing as it lines up with so much of what we've heard about Wonder Woman recently. Around the 1:41:30 mark in the video below, one of the team claims to have heard from an insider that the movie is a mess, and worryingly, that same person told them the exact same thing about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice some time ago. Here's the exact quote from them: "So, I don't want to throw anyone under the bus. In the industry of inside scoops, not every scoop can be a rumor. Some are revealed so early on in the process that by the time the film goes into production, the forecasted story point is no longer valid. Some are misunderstood. And some are just plain wrong.
Earlier today, Schmoes Know posted a scoop that the Elders, the most powerful beings in the universe, would be in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. While this wouldn’t have been a completely out-of-left-field move from the film — it is a franchise that loves to take things to an intergalactic level, after all — it would definitely seem to overcrowd an already crowded cast and plot. The rumor went on to state that the Elders of the Universe would be comprised of The Collector, Ayesha, Sylvester Stallone’s character, and Sharon Stone’s character.

Ever since Vin Diesel confirmed what we’d suspected all along, that the Guardians of the Galaxy would be fighting alongside Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk etc. in Avengers: Infinity War, speculation as to how large a role they’ll actually play has run rampant. After all, the film is set to feature a ton of McU characters (perhaps even a few of The Defenders as well) and many were left wondering if there’d even be much room left for Star-Lord and co.
While we still can’t tell you exactly how heavily they’ll factor into things, we do know that Chris Pratt, who plays Star-Lord, will have a sizeable role. That’s according to the folks at Schmoes Know, who claim that a source has told them that the hero will be the “catalyst that will eventually lead to the introduction of the other Guardian members.

We already knew that Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy would appear in Avengers: Infinity War to help the Avengers in their battle against Thanos. I assumed if they were bringing in this team they would play a sizable role in the story. All it takes is common sense to realize that you don’t include these characters and not utilize them to their fullest potential.
Well, Schmoes Know is reporting that Star-Lord will have a “sizable” role in the film as he helps the Avengers in their effort to save the universe from the Mad Titan. They go on to say that he will be the first of the Guardians of appear. If he has a decent-sized role in the film, then he obviously will play an important part of the story.

*Warning! This entire post deals with Spoiler-ish things!*
Many moons ago, while on the phone with a source of mine, we discussed that Chris Pratt was set to appear in the third Avengers movie. This was in early 2014, before Guardians of The Galaxy had even come out and helped make Pratt a household name; And it was way before Jurassic World cemented him as a box office champ. I remember thinking, at the time, that it seemed sort of obvious that Pratt's Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, would appear in the film since we knew that all of Marvel's movies were interconnected. What I wasn't sure of was how big a role he would have.
Let's fast forward two years and take a look at the landscape, shall we?
Guardians of The Galaxy ended up being a big hit and a pleasant surprise for fans, critics, and analysts the world over.

It wasn't too long ago that Vin Diesel confirmed that the Guardians of the Galaxy would be fighting alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers: Infinity War. The Avengers are going to need all the help they can get in the fight against Thanos, so having the galaxy's greatest outlaws help out doesn't seem like a bad idea. Just how much of a presence will the Guardians have in Infinity War? Well, according to Schmoes Know, their sources have revealed that Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) will have a "sizeable role" throughout the film, and aside from being the catalyst that will eventually lead to the introduction of the other members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, the outlaw is also said to be a "major player" when the Avengers take on the Mad Titan. What do you think? Should Star-Lord have such a big role when it comes to stopping Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War?...

The latest from Schmoes Know has Sylvester Stallone and Sharon Stone playing Elders in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. When it was (pretty much) confirmed that Stallone would have a role in the film, many predicted he would be Star-Lord's father but that honor has been bestowed upon Kurt Russell's Ego the Living Planet. Back in May, Stone confirmed that she had a role in an upcoming Marvel film and would later confirm that her character had heat powers. So just who exactly could Stallone and Stone be playing? Despite Beneico del Toro already playing The Collector and Jeff Goldblum cast as The Grandmaster, we still have a number of Elders yet to reveal their presence in the McU. There's The Contemplator, Possessor, The Gardner, Champion, Trader, Caregiver, Runner, The Obliterator and a host of others. The Schmoes Know report that Elizabeth Debicki's Her aka Ayesha will...

It was just yesterday that I was waxing nostalgic about the relationship Lrm has built with the character of Spider-Man over the years, and how interwoven our history has been with his cinematic exploits. Today I woke up to some interesting news that I just had to share with you all, and it's about Spider-Man: Homecoming. So strap yourselves in, boys and girls, we're about to talk a bit about the villains from the upcoming Marvel/Sony reboot.
For some time now, there's been lots of speculation about the antagonists in Spider-Man: Homecoming. We've heard The Vulture be confirmed, we've seen spy pics and heard rumors of Shocker, and there have been other unsubstantiated rumors that aren't worth discussing. A new rumor making the rounds, though, is that there will indeed be another baddie in Spider-Man: Homecoming. And it actually makes a ton of sense.

One of the reasons I'm so excited about Thor: Ragnarok is that there will be elements of Planet Hulk in it. That has been confirmed by Marvel, and we've even seen the armor that the Hulk will wear as a gladiator.
Turns out the Planet Hulk element may play a bigger part of the story than originally thought. Also, the title of the film may not mean what we think it means. If you don't want to learn any other details then I suggest you don't read any further.
According to Schmoes Know, who has a pretty solid track record of reporting legitimate info, the majority of the story will take place on a planet called Ragnarok. That is where Thor and Hulk will team up for their adventure. It's also the place they will meet other characters from the film. Here are the details from the report:

There are reports that actor Ewan McGregor is rumored to be having discussions with Lucasfilm to reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi as a Force ghost for director Rian Johnson’s “Star Wars: Episode VIII.” The rumor comes courtesy of Kristian Harloff of Schmoes Know and Collider Jedi Council and stresses to take this new information with a grain of salt.

With J.J. Abrams "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" now about three months out, the rumor mill keeps churning and the newest one today has gotten many excited.
Both Schmoes Know and Heroic Hollywood are reporting that the new film will feature a post-credits stinger and teaser for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" due out next year.
Production is already well underway on the Gareth Edwards-directed 'Rogue' so the timing sounds right. The question is whether Abrams himself is happy with the Marvel-style idea.
The rumor comes as several other "Star Wars"-related bits of information emerged this week. Benicio Del Toro has spoken more about his role in "Star Wars: Episode VIII" but tells Et that he's not the clear cut bad guy that is being speculated:
"I don't know if he's a villain. People are saying that, but it's like they read a different script than I read.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" draws ever closer, which means the rumor mill is only going to grow more feverish in the months and weeks ahead. However, the importance of the picture in relaunching a franchise, and a whole new world of films, can't be exaggerated, and if the the latest buzz going around turns out to be true, it suggests that Lucasfilm is looking at Marvel's successful playbook to perhaps borrow a couple of moves. Schmoes Know and Heroic Hollywood have both heard that J.J. Abrams' film will feature a post-credits clip and teaser for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," due in cinemas next year. Production has already started, so it's not inconceivable that Gareth Edwards could cobble together something to slap on the end of 'Force Awakens.' That said, it sounds like exactly the kind of thing that would rub Abrams the wrong way, given...

In the grand scheme of things, Marvel and the Star Wars universe aren’t too dissimilar in that the two franchises share a parent company, though according to sources close to Schmoes Know, the latter may be taking cues from the former when it comes to post-credit stings.

One that just won’t go away is a potential trilogy based on legendary Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, and those rumors just got another boost. At the moment, five of those are already greenlit: The Force Awakens, Anthology: Rogue One, Episode VIII, the second Anthology film (focusing on Boba Fett and Han Solo) and Episode IX. According to a new rumor, however, another trilogy may also be in the works.
Schmoes Know, who recently reported that Jon Favreau and Matthew Vaughn were circling the Solo/Fett spinoff, have dropped a new, intriguing rumor that states Ewan McGregor may be donning the furrowed brow and Jedi robes of Obi-Wan Kenobi once more for a whole trilogy of films set after the events of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

- We Got This Covered
Last month, rumor broke out that the second Star Wars “anthology” film – which hits theaters in 2018 – would focus on beloved and enigmatic bounty hunter Boba Fett. Now, we’ve received word that the Mandalorian may be sharing the film with his longtime nemesis, the rather scruffy-looking nerf herder Han Solo.
The update comes from Schmoes Know, whose sources claim that the second Anthology film will take place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope and will shed some light on the ongoing conflict between Fett and Solo, which was only hinted at over the course of the original trilogy. Characters such as Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, and even fellow bounty hunter Bossk will make appearances, as the film “delves into the ‘hive of scum and villainy’ that Star Wars has been known for.”
Josh Trank was initially set to direct the pic, but was abruptly ejected from the project just a few weeks ago.

Take this with a huge pinch of salt for the time being, but Schmoes Know are reporting that Disney is in talks with Ewan McGregor to return as Obi Wan Kenobi in what might be a trilogy of Star Wars Anthology movies. Apparently, they're talking to him "not to be a force ghost, but for a post-Episode III Kenobi," and their source adds that they do indeed want a series focusing on him. It's not clear what direction these would take, but they add that "the film (or films) would focus on Obi-Wan’s adventures between the two trilogies as he watches over a maturing Luke Skywalker. The film(s) would be standalone adventure(s), with the possibility of characters like Owen Lars and Darth Maul appearing." A rematch between Obi-Wan and Darth Maul would obviously be quite something to see on the big screen, and it's fair to say...

The still untitled second Star Wars Anthology movie (which recently lost its director Josh Trank) has been rumored to feature the bounty Hunter Boba Fett for a while now, though Han Solo's name has been mentioned almost as much. In fact, several outlets have reported hearing that both characters will somehow be involved, but now The Schmoes Know gang have added a few very interesting details. According to their sources the movie will actually focus on the conflict between Solo and Fett in the build-up to the events of A New Hope, and will feature appearances from more fan-favourite characters like Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, and Bossk. Apparently this movie will be heavily influenced by the old-school Westerns, and delve into the “hive of scum and villainy” we were first introduced to in Mos Eisely Space Port. They also hear that since Josh Trank left the project both Jon Faverau...
