Meghan Markle's decision to leave her dog, Bogart, in the United States after moving to London must have been a really hard one.
The soon-to-be royal gushed about the pup in a 2013 interview with Buzzfeed, revealing that he was the background of her phone at the time.
"He's a little rescue mutt from Spot in L.A. and is 9 months old," she said. "He's adorable. Ellen DeGeneres was there when I was looking at him and told me I had to take him home. So I did. It's like if Oprah told you to do something, you just do it!"
The Suits star, who is also a dog mom to Guy, revealed that she left Bogart with friends in the United States during her first joint interview with Prince Harry after their engagement announcement last month. "I've had two dogs that I've had for a long time, two rescue pups," she said. "One is...

Meghan Markle has Prince Harry's total support.
Meghan, who's engaged to the 33-year-old royal, is of course getting ready to join the royal family, and a source tells Et that she's in good hands when it comes to making the big transition, thanks to her fiance. The source likens their situation to Prince William marrying Kate Middleton in 2011.
“It’s a given that Prince Harry will give Meghan training in a rundown of what’s expected,” the source says. “He’ll be taking care of her just like William did with Kate. Kate had an idea of royal protocol; Meghan has no experience with them at all.”
According to the source, some of the training will include Meghan learning who to curtsy to, when to sit down for lunch, not to eat before the queen eats, as well as various other royal protocols.
But it's not all work for the attractive pair -- another source tells Et that...

For her Nov. 21 nuptials to conservative pundit Ben Domenech at the McCain family ranch in Cornville, Arizona, the co-host of The View chose a spread made up of wild game to cater to her father Sen. John McCain‘s tastes.
“The menu was something primarily that Meghan wanted to reflect not only where we are at up here, but really geared it a great deal to her dad so he would enjoy the menu,” Meghan’s mom Cindy McCain tells People in this week’s issue, on newsstands Friday.

In the wake of the terrible attacks in Paris, I found myself listening to a lot of French music and thinking about the Leonard Bernstein quote going around on Facebook: "This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before." The forty [note: now forty-one] composers listed below are merely a start.

Oh, come on. I'm doing a slew of set visits in Vancouver and I started watching "The Amazing Race" after midnight and within 20 minutes, it was clear that nobody was going home on Friday's (October 17) episode. Nope. You can't make your entire episode into an semi-altruistic showcase, essentially a joint commercial for Ford hybrids and Danish eco-consciousness and then send somebody home. Nope, this was an episode about good feelings for both a country trying to do well by Mother Earth and a company paying "The Amazing Race" to talk about its automotive advancements. But then, to make matters worse, it became clear based on the editing -- and based on a week of very spoilery editing -- that this was the week that Jim's hubris would finally catch up with previously formidable Team Dentist. Actually, it had always been Jim's hubris that ran the risk of cursing the Dentists,...
